Anyone recall my 3D AR CHALLENGE from a few years ago? It was in response to a bit of classic CNN stupidity.
The challenge: 3D-print a fully-functional, plastic AR-15, and successfully demonstrate it. The first person to do so will win 10 rounds of equally functional, 100% plastic 3D-printed .223 Remington ammunition.
It isn’t an AR-pattern rifle, and it doesn’t fire conventional off the shelf ammo. It is a repeater. But bonus points for fully functional plastic ammunition.
3D-printed gun hobbyist @SuckBoyTony1 has made a working 100% 3D-printed gun. The barrel and even the ammunition is plastic. Whilst this obviously isn’t a practical weapon, the potential implications of the concept are fascinating.
If the challenge was still running, I’d award him first place even though his firearm doesn’t fit the specified parameters of the contest.

Yesterday, I — with some glee — noted that an enterprising soul turned in 62 3D-printed “ghost guns” to a Houston “buyback.” At the time, it was being reported they went for $150 a pop.
The smart fella responsible says that he actually got just fifty bucks apiece. But they only cost him three dollar each to produce. Well worth the investment, at a $2,914 net.
“We’re going to exclude those next time around,” said Mayor Sylvester Turner. “This is a program designed for people who want to voluntarily relinquish their guns.”
He made them look like idiots. But rather than discontinue a useless program that wastes taxpayer money, they just won’t accept “ghost guns” anymore.
Remember this next time some victim-disarmer whines about homemade guns being an existential threat to something or other.
They don’t really see them as much of a threat at all; not even worth what they’d pay for a broken, nonfunctional gun.

Big shout out to whoever it was that turned in 62 3D printed guns for $150 each at a Houston gun buy-back
A box of what authorities described as “ghost guns” were collected during the buy-back event, Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church in Houston.
Reminds me of the group that was taking batches of slam-fire shotguns to “buybacks,” and using the money raised to fund classes for new gun owners.

I’m sure this will result in calls for commonsense plumbing control.
Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has been assassinated. And the assassin used an evil “ghost gun.”
The assassin of Shinzo Abe has been identified as 41-year-old Yamagami Tetsuya, who used a homemade black powder shotgun.
No Ghost Gunner CNC mill.
No 3D-printer.
No unfinished receiver.
No “parts kit.”
No ammunition to register and regulate.
From that picture and description, it looks like some pipes, a board, and a lot of electrical tape. They specify “black powder,” so I imagine the assassin made that, too. No word on the projectiles, but I don’t think he’d have had much trouble finding ball bearings or other round shot.
Japan has some of the most restrictive gun control laws in the world, and it still could not stop a killer with 1950s homebrew technology.
So what will the victim-disarmers try now? NFA tax stamps for plumbing and electrical supplies?
A ban on charcoal?
Well, they’d probably like that last one. Of course, to enforce it, it you’d need to ban trees and combustion.
To regulate the nitrates, they’d have to ban urination. Tricky, that.
Sulfur is a bit tougher unless you live near a sulfur spring; but there’s always drywall for the chemically-inclined.
The rights-haters would need to ban technology that’s been around for more than a thousand years. That should work well.
Then they’s have to figure out what to do about bows.

I’m sure almost everyone has heard by now that Dr. Zev Zelenko has left us. Z-stack life. In my eyes Dr. Zelenko was a mentsch. And I’m pretty sure he was in the eyes of the millions who owe their live or that of a loved one to him. Dr Zelenko in case you didn’t know, was the pioneer who concocted the HCQ, Zinc and Azythromycin protocol along with vitamins to combat covid. Those that used it said the results would be felt sometimes within hours, but the key was early treatment as covid starts as one disease and turns into another. What hospitals would do would be to deny patients the lifesaving medications they needed until they were almost at deaths door, then maybe allow them and if they didn’t work at that late stage say, “Oh they don’t work”. I hope there is a special, long place in hell for those that have done that.
He was also a special hero to me because I learned so much spiritually from him. He always kept G-d front and center of his conversations and gave him credit. He also taught much about life, and the folly of trusting government to save you as opposed to trusting G-d. I’m not going to write much in the way of an obituary, there are far better writers than I that have done so. Dr. Robert Malone one of a group of doctors that spoke out about the true nature of Covid and the true risk of the shots.
The Zelenko Freedom Foundation is organized exclusively to provide funding to social entities and social activities surrounding education, leadership development, health literacy, advocacy, public policy, social, health and community development. These activities will include, but are not limited to, events, workshops, grants, research funding and limited scholarships.
I guess what to share are just some thoughts, and a few videos I think share the attitude and brilliance of Dr. Zelenko. He had many facets to his character.
This one dealt with his absolute ban from Twatter for trying to save lives. It was ridiculous as after his non-profit foundation was established and a Twatter account was opened for it, it was permanently banned within hours. But while humorous, it was also a potential window into the future.
I’ve started a Constitution class through the Patriot Academy and it is so fascinating but a couple of things in last weeks class made me think of Dr. Zelenko.

The mess created by Biden voters
Our rights do not come from man, or the Constitution, they come from G-d. The power Congress has comes from us, the governed from our power to consent or refuse. One of the things Dr. Zelenko often reminded us when it came to the injection was “Do not comply”. What kind of monumental overreach is it when the un-elected bureaucrats can demand we put an experimental substance into our bodies to be able to work, shop or travel. And the more we comply, the worse it will become. Because that’s how tyranny rolls.
Dr. Zelenko saw everything quite clearly.
This final clip was made from Dr. Zelenko’s hospital bed, and I think it sums up all the things that touched me so deeply. A man of great faith, a caring compassion doctor who was supernaturally given the gift of the cure. I think it was given to Dr. Zelenko not only because he had the nature to search for it, but he prayed and begged G-d for an answer to help his patients. Dr Zelenko was a man blessed with the courage of his convictions to stay the course. He was relentlessly attacked by the corporate pharmaceutical funded media, the swampy deep state and the entire demoncrat party and RINO sellouts. Not to mention those that lacked his courage and honesty within the medical profession.
In a fairly recent interview on Jerm Warfare he said he was afraid of G-d and no one else. He said this is a race between the forces that want to enslave humanity and those that are wanting to expand G-d consciousness. Turn away from bad, do good, and live. Do not live in fear and isolate yourself from those you love. Take positive proactive measures and live. He sees a glorious redemptive event coming where the false narrative will be destroyed and the knowledge of G-d will fill the earth. He said the key here, is courage.
Now there is a large battle standard and heavy sword laying on the battlefield. It will take more than one person to pick them up and advance. May I do my part.

You can’t repeal the Second Amendment, any more than you can repeal any of the other nine. It was a package deal, you see, an absolute prerequisite to ratifying the main body of the Constitution. Repeal one, you repeal them all. Do that, and you repeal the whole Constitution — and with it, any legal authority that the government has to exist (let alone repeal the Second Amendment).

That comes from chapter five of Hope, by Aaron Zelman and L. Neil Smith. The style makes me think that particular passage was penned by Neil (and it seems like he had a stand-alone essay to the same effect), but I don’t believe Aaron would have let that go into their co-authored novel unless he agreed with it.
As a casual student of history, who has read much about the ratification of the Constitution, I also agree.

I suspect that Moore, and most Dims currently in DC — and far too many Repugnicans, as well — would be happy to lose the few remaining Constitutional limits on their power. They don’t particularly care about “legal authority;” just power.
The problem is… if our wanna-be tyrants are no longer restrained by that pesky Constitution, neither are the people.
The people pissed off at senseless bans, and illegal ballot drop boxes, might just decide that turning to constitutionally-enabled courts — who already defecate on individual rights at the slightest provocation — really isn’t necessary.
Voting out scumbags, and voting in new replacement scumbags who promise to use KY while screwing us? Why bother with that discarded constitutional process? Wouldn’t high-velocity lead be cheaper and faster? Not to mention proactively educating would-be replacements.
Court-blessed “constitutional” takings of property? Get rid of the Constitution and former property owners might resort to ex-constitutional re-takings, enforced with ropes and lamp posts.
Lose one, lose them all. Moore himself might want to consider the ramifications of chucking his First Amendment protections to defame folks for a buck. The people might decide, lacking that lost constitutional recourse, to go bowling for lying documentarians.
Get rid of the Constitution, and the people’s pretend recourse… and they might stop pretending they do.
Maybe the tyrants will be counting on the out-numbered police to prop up their post-Constitution regime. How many officers would continue to be willing to do that once they’ve lost “constitutional” sovereign immunity, and the people know it?
Perhaps the Constitution has only been an illusory paper restraint on government. But it has been a potent symbolic restraint on the people, preventing them from eliminating abusive politicians and government agents out of hand. I do not truly comprehend the willingness — nay, the eagerness of the Left to go there, to surrender that protection, given the likely consequences.
We’d be starting from scratch, with new rules written by the survivors.

Witold Pilecki volunteered to be imprisoned in Auschwitz. Not to find out what was going on in the camp. He knew; some of it, at least. He went to gather proof to be presented to the Allies. He volunteered to go into a death camp to try to help those imprisoned there. They smuggled in radio parts and built a transmitter in the camp and broadcast intel about camp activities.

A Lancet study comparing vaccinated and unvaccinated people in Sweden was conducted among 1.6 million individuals over nine months. It showed that protection against symptomatic COVID-19 declined with time, such that by six months, some of the more vulnerable vaccinated groups were at greater risk than their unvaccinated peers.

As Joe Biden’s handlers sorrowfully regarded his plummeting poll numbers they considered their options. Joe sat next to the fireplace with his pants leg pulled up showing his minder for the hour his hairy legs and asked his female secret service agent if she wouldn’t come a little closer. She vehemently shook her head no and said “You’re fine where you are, as am I”. He asked if there were some little girls with barrettes in their hair coming later to visit, the agent looked pained and replied “NO”! She looked pointedly at the agent next to her covering a grin and said “When is Jill supposed to be back”? The agent tried manfully to cover a chuckle and said “She’ll be back from getting her legs waxed in a couple of hours. She didn’t want a repeat of that no hose, visible band-aid on the leg thing like when they were photographed with the queen”.
“There’s GOT to be something” whimpered Susan Rice, maybe we should call Barry?
“Nope, no need” chimed in Fredo Cuomo “I know the perfect issue! I mean look at it, the guy was sleeping with a Chinese spy and he’s still on the intelligence committee. If that doesn’t show how highly he’s regarded, what could? Then Bozo was so manly when he flat out told people he was going to take their AK-47s and AR-15s.” I think we could use that to show how in control Joe is. That would show people he really knows how to wield power, who care if they find out we cheated in Maricopa, and Georgia, and Pennsylvania, and Minnesota, and Wisconsin, and Nevada and” Susan Rice broke in “We know Fredo, we all know”. Well sniffed Fredo offendedly, “I’m telling you the only reason Eric didn’t win the nomination was his huge percentage started shriveling when that mean old Bear at The Zelman Partisans started writing about him. Kamala who had snuck unseen into the room chimed in “Gun control? Don’t you think the media might start to raise questions about Hunter and his gun?” Fredo glared witheringly at her and said “Of course not! What is the matter with you?” Kamala cackled nervously and shot back, “Well, it’s a real issue and a real problem! He probably can’t keep this up much longer” Fredo looked at her in astonishment and said “Of course he can! We’ve got his back”. Susan looked patronizingly at Kamala and said “Are you planning on visiting Disney World on your way to visit the border via New Orleans Kamala dear?” Kamala got her deer in headlights look, cackled “FLORIDA?? You mean go into De Santis territory? No, I think I’ll go to Virginia and look for root causes of ….something, I’ll think of something” and slunk out of the room.
Susan and Fredo mulled over the gun control angle. “Well, Joe is making a name for himself, look at the fabulous guy he pretended he nominated for the head of the ATF. All the senators are so impressed with him, they all love him!” Susan mused. And with the good help you guys have given him Fredo, Americans now see how deadly those assault rifles are.
Sadly for Chipman and the Communists, Americans aren’t stupid, or unskilled. So, the BATFE didn’t give Chipman a automatic weapon? Interesting.
And so a speech was whipped up for Joe while he took a long nap. He was then trotted out for the cameras and promised a nice ice cream cone if he did a good job.
As normal sane Americans listened to this, they wondered if perhaps Eric Swalwell had taken a break from sharing National security secrets with spies from enemy countries to take up speech writing for Beijing Xiden.
Predictably news outlets more reliable than the NY Slimes (which would include this column) immediately came out with notices of sales and family shopping trips to their local armory and airfield.
Palpatine was also dismissive of the idea that people need blasters in case they have to overthrow the Empire if it turns tyrannical. “It’s just a ridiculous idea that a rebellion armed with blasters could do anything about us,” he said. “You’d need your own armored, planet-destroying superweapon to match the strength of our Death Star. Some wealthier Americans purchased the F-22, while less fortunate citizens were forced to buy the F-35 joint fighter. But no matter what craft they chose, American citizens said they were just glad to finally be protected against a tyrannical government.

Personally, I have a email in to Israel to see about a home version of the Iron Dome. I knew I should have bought that Centurion tank when I had the chance!
At this point Nancy Pelosi tottered in on her high heels, “Don’t you mess with my commission!” She screeched. Susan Rice glared at her and said “OUT! Do you want me to call AOC?” The painted on color drained out of Pelosi’s face and she wheeled about and tottered back out of the room without a word, repeatable.
As the cabal congratulated themselves on having undoubtedly pumped up Joe’s poll numbers, they also savored the fact they had threatened him sufficiently to pretty much stay on topic.
Joe, you already are in trouble with the American people. With or without your mask, we see you and your cronies for what you are.
