During an interview with Yahoo News, a sports journalist asked Drew Brees his opinion on football players kneeling during the National Anthem. Brees declared love and support for teammates and their fight for racial equality and justice. However, he could never agree with anyone “disrespecting” the flag during the National Anthem. He cited the heroic World War II records of his grandfathers and pays homage to them during the Anthem. Who could find fault with that? Nevertheless, following the interview, Brees’ black teammates and black professional athletes in other sports attacked and savaged him. They called him ignorant, a racist, and next the profanity and threats flew. Brees, an openly devout Christian, then apologized for his insensitive remarks in defense of patriotism and America. He apologized to teammates, the city of New Orleans, the NFL, and the black community at large. Brees rejected President Trump’s support when he came to the QBs defense. Brees now claims it is not about the flag afterall.1
Legos is pulling its police station and related game sets from the market as if policemen and women who protect and defend the weak, vulnerable, and defenseless are now evil and unacceptable. Taboo. A&E is pulling its most popular television show, Live PD, from the airwaves again, as if anything to do with the police is dirty, filthy, intolerably offensive. This they do in solidarity with an extremist group promoting assassination of police officers, riots and looting, anarchy, overturning Western Society and its Judeo-Christian foundations. This group is Black Lives Matter (BLM). Legos, A&E, and many other corporations are choosing sides against the folks behind the badge who willingly lay their lives on the line every day for their fellow Americans.
Where are the corporate chieftains, business leaders, elected officials, pastors, priests, rabbis, school boards, principals, teachers, and sports figures willing to stand for the truth? What is that truth? Contrary to what BLM claims on its webpage, the white race is not engaged in a war of genocide, with the police its instrument of execution, to exterminate the black race. This is what they preach and believe. Who is pointing this out?
What are you saying Drew, police officers, who never ask what the job pays or count the risks, but only how to protect Americans from the ravenous wolves that prey on them, are the bad guys? Men and women who, instead of being home with their families for birthdays, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, who work long hours, weekends, nights, in the heat, cold, rain, and snow, with little sleep and no food to make streets safe for you deserve no respect? That our brothers and sisters killed in the line of duty, whose names are quickly forgotten or never known, deserve no respect? That our family members who fought in wars and served in the military no longer deserve respect? What have millionaires like you done in comparison to make America a better and safer place, throw a piece of leather to other millionaires on Sundays? Think of the little kids who wear your jersey and hang your poster on their bedroom walls. You are telling them to side with those who spit on the flag and the men and women who sacrifice so much to keep their little lives safe.
Today, now more than ever, leaders like you should be standing up for America but instead abdicate that responsibility. Is it because you have too much to lose, fame, fortune, and career? Or, do you hope someone else will take your place sparing you from putting it on the line? When you count the cost and say no, you abandon us behind enemy lines. When you surrender without a fight, the time comes when there is nothing left for which to fight.
Black as well as white have died for the flag. In apologizing for your patriotism, you surrender that flag to those who hate all for which it stands. Once you kneel before its enemies, as you have, that is where they will keep you. You must continue kneeling to prove you are not a racist but no proof will ever be enough. Do you believe they respect you for turning your back on devoutly held beliefs? In capitulating, you have lost your dignity, respect, and moral authority to speak for the truth. Kids long for adults who are men and women of character possessing the strength of their convictions. Adults who never waver regardless of how sharp the arrows fired at them. You cannot get back what you surrender.
Yes, there is a price for standing your ground. We average Americans who stand up for the truth pay it every day in our work and in our lives. This country is worth it. How sad, in spite of all the blessings playing in the NFL, for you this nation does not merit the same affection. The choices we make when those choices are difficult define who and what we are. You have made your choice.
Anti-Semitism is on the rise. No doubt about it, while the left likes to try to blame it on the right politically, that doesn’t pan out. There are no politicians on the right, and most people on the right are not saying the sorts of thing the elected demoncrats in office have espoused. The #Demoncrats seem to be trying to do their best to move as far left towards G-dless communism and have put their far left members, such as “The Squat” in the driver seat. And that may be partly why the left hates Jews, we are suppose to be spreading the light and knowledge of G-d’s handbook for this world known as Torah, or Bible and they are determined to try to eliminate G-d from the conversation. Anyone’s conversation. Communism and socialism are G-dless religions, and so, the left loves those political doctrines. The dark doesn’t want the light, it makes the dark disappear.
There have been several attacks on religious communities lately. For a list of anti-Semitic attacks, including Synagogue attacks there is this, a list of attacks on Jewish institutions.
It includes Poway and Squirrel Hill. But the carnage at Poway was far lower than it could have been. And it was far lower than at Squirrel Hill. Chabad in Poway had armed congregants, Squirrel Hill didn’t.
Within a similar time frame there were also attacks on churches in Texas. The one in Sutherland Springs Texas was stopped by a neighbor who heard the gun shots and ran out the door with his AR-15. Not his shoes, but his AR. Man had his priorities straight. He stopped the murderer. The one in White Settlement near Ft. Worth was stopped by a member of the Church Security team. But he was one of several members on the Security team. Back to the days of New Life Church and Jeanne Asssam, there have been highly publicized incidents of armed citizens stopping killers intent on wiping out life.
“It’s the job of law enforcement to carry guns that kill. We just can’t let the average American have guns in a crowded place…gun control saves lives…”pic.twitter.com/qt7nDRvKxz
No word on if he’s giving up his own armed security. But then, he’s “special” you, are not. Bless his little heart. One more reminder he it totally unfit to be President of the United States of America.
Even more recently the attack on a Kosher Deli in Jersey City, which was originally an attack planned for the Synagogue attached.
But New York has strict gun control there, so Jews and other law-abiding citizens are supposed to be safe!
HA! The Attack in Monsey proved gun control lies are just that. Lies. The Bucket O’Chum used a machete. I understand from this episode of the Tamar Yonah show, the pictures of the victims on social media resemble those of the victims of the 1929 Hevron riots.
Towards the end of the segment she is interviewing Shifra Hoffman, founder of Victims of Arab Terror. They are both discussing that all Jews need to be armed, and we need to secure our Synagogues, we must learn to fight and be prepared to do so. You’ll love listening to Shifra, she really tells it as it is. Shifra is strong on making Aliyah, to put it mildly.
While you’re on Twitter, you could also follow The Zelman Partisans.
This social media thing is interesting. There is a writer for Arutz Sheva that I enjoy. I read a couple of columns, followed him on Twitter and we are in each others network on LinkedIn. Moshe Phillips, the writer, has done some strong columns, as you can see. He is also the National Director of the U.S. division of Herut North America.
This lead to Moshe reaching out to us to see if we could help with publicizing a Synagogue Security toolkit. It is done by Herut, and there goal is to make it much harder to successfully attack a Synagogue. As Pat Parelli says, “Prior and proper planning prevent pee poor performance.” And this time it will save lives as well. There is also advice and things to think about in your daily life, not just at Shul. Life is precious, all attempts must be made to preserve it from those that attempt to steal it. Talk to your leadership today, have them get the book, if you’re in leadership, get it yesterday.
This situation turned out as well as it did because they planned, and they had a team in placed. Be prepared to respond. Someone used to say “A gun is like a parachute. You may only need it once, but if you do need it, you will need it very very badly”.
The Correct Response to a threat
Make the choice, fight back, be informed, be part of a team, contact Herut. Fight back to live.
Today, November 11th was Veteran’s Day. The day brave men and women who have served our country in the military are honored. I’m personally not sure enough can ever be done to honor them. I have only the highest respect for those that chose to put their personal lives on hold to protect us, and our country. They chose to go to other countries to fight evil, and to fight for those that could not fight for themselves.
November 9th and 10th is the anniversary of Kristallnacht, or the night of broken glass. We have some articles on the event if you might care to read them. There are more than just these two.
And it was brave men and women, sometimes really boys and girls that went and fought the Germans, Austrians, Poles, and any others that decided this was an opportune time to rid their fair cities of the Jewish presence.
I think the fact that the two days fall so close together, for me at least, doubles the sense of wonder and gratitude.
I was thinking about the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier the other day. Probably something I had read, maybe the weather, I don’t know. But I was thinking about the guard’s dedication to duty. The requirements to be a guard are quite stringent.
For a person to apply for guard duty at the tomb, he must be between 5′ 10″ and 6′ 2″ tall and his waist size cannot exceed 30″.
Other requirements of the Guard:
They must commit 2 years of life to guard the tomb, live in a barracks under the tomb, and cannot drink any alcohol on or off duty FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES. They cannot swear in public FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES and cannot disgrace the uniform {fighting} or the tomb in any way.
After TWO YEARS, the guard is given a wreath pin that is worn on their lapel signifying they served as guard of the tomb. There are only 400 presently worn. The guard must obey these rules for the rest of their lives or give up the wreath pin.
The shoes are specially made with very thick soles to keep the heat and cold from their feet. There are metal heel plates that extend to the top of the shoe in order to make the loud click as they come to a halt. There are no wrinkles, folds or lint on the uniform. Guards dress for duty in front of a full-length mirror.
The first SIX MONTHS of duty a guard cannot talk to anyone, nor watch TV. All off duty time is spent studying the 175 notable people laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery. A guard must memorize who they are and where they are interred. Among the notables are: President Taft, Joe E. Lewis {the boxer} and Medal of Honor winner Audie Murphy, {the most decorated soldier of WWII} of Hollywood fame. Every guard spends FIVE HOURS A DAY getting his uniforms ready for guard duty.
Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year the guards suit up, show up and do their duty. They have studied for this, trained for this and committed to this. And that’s how they were chosen for this post. Most that apply do not make the selection. These soldiers were willing to make the commitment, and do the work, even in a hurricane.
Part of the conditions that allowed Anti-Semitism to rise to such a level as to produce a holocaust was the complaint that the Jews were “chosen”. Chosen for what? Chosen to receive the Torah, to spread the knowledge of G-d in this world. Of his love, of his instructions of how to live a life pleasing to the creator of this world. To share knowledge of the mitzvot, commandments. Holy little bread crumbs if you will, a way of helping people find their way back to G-d, or to find G-d.
But according to the Midrash, Israel was not the 1st nation that G-d offered the Torah. They were however, the one that accepted it. Now, if you would like a rather humorous story about how this went down, I can help you out. And it is worth reading, it’s funny. I’ll give you the first paragraph of The Bargain and the Jew
The story you are about to read is true. Some names have been changed to protect the guilty. Some names have been omitted to protect us from the grumpy. The story first started thousands of years ago, when the world was young…
These days it seems the Holocaust is so far behind us, and that such an event could never happen again. But that could be wrong. I listened to a talk show today, and the host Howie Silbiger pointed out that the late Rabbi Meir Kahane predicted almost 30 years ago that there would be another holocaust. In North America. Rabbi Kahane was assassinated 5 November 1990, in the first Al-Qaeda attack on American soil. The bucket of chum assassin got off killing Rabbi Kahane on a technicality. The FBI harvested buckets of information from his apartment. Which apparently they ignored and that allowed the bucket of chum to roam freely about and participate in the first bombing of the World Trade Center. The second Al-Qaeda attack on American soil. Many things I agree with Rabbi Kahane, he is the one who founded the Jewish Defense League, and wanted to change the image of the Jews from weak to strong fearless fighters.
The JDL also focused on the plight of Soviet Jewry, and coined the phrases “Never again,” and “every Jew a .22” to emphasize that Jews would no longer passively ignore the plight of their foreign brethren.
Howie pointed out in this episode that crimes against Jews in NY have risen dramatically. Violent crimes, Jews are punched, pinned against cars and physically assaulted. For which the perpetrators are charged with, “harassment”. Seriously. The culture has changed enough as well. When Netflix has a show called “The Roast of Ann Frank” in which hitler roasts the teenage Jewish girl that was one of the victims of the holocaust is disgusting and despicable. I think that Howie, and Rabbi Kahane could be right. Far too many Jews push for disarmament, too many cities are easy pickings with their progressive policies of only allowing criminals to have guns. And people keep voting for these politicians. Sigh.
But as the constant attacks on Israel continue, against Jews living in Judea and Shomron, and Jews living in New York rise, I fear that the next brave soldiers to fight in the North American holocaust may be you and I. The excuses given for such attacks vary of course, but one of the things that was a complaint and excuse in Germany was this status of being “chosen”. I would maintain that their “chosen status” is much like that of the guards at the Tomb of the Unknowns. It was a mission offered and accepted, even though aspects were unknown. Its sad that rather than admire and respect those that strive to follow the path, those that disagree with it will chose to tear it down, belittle and obliterate it. There are other choices of course, but they choose to ignore that.
I do not relish the thought of a Kristallnacht in North America, but with the #FakeNews, and the state of academia where BSD-BS with it’s anti-Jew and anti-Israel bias thrive, the mass importation of people raised to hate Jews, I could see how it could be. If it comes to pass, we will be more grateful than ever for those that have experience, and can mentor. Our Veterans.
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.~~ Edmund Burke
Over at my blog, I noticed a commenter’s screen name. It was unfamiliar but, given the avatar, I assumed it had some historical significance. I looked it up.
Captain Witold Pilecki
I am almost ashamed that I had never heard of this man before, because based just on the Wikipedia entry, Pilecki was a total badass. He fought the Soviets in the Polish-Soviet War. He fought in World War 2, including with the Tajna Armia Polska, (Secret Polish Army; which he helped found), the resistance movement in Nazi-occupied Poland.
Just what I’ve read so far is fascinating; I’m going to be learning more about him. But let me drop two exploits from his life that are germane to The Zelman Partisans.
Witold Pilecki volunteered to be imprisoned in Auschwitz. Not to find out what was going on in the camp. He knew; some of it, at least. He went to gather proof to be presented to the Allies. He volunteered to go into a death camp to try to help those imprisoned there. They smuggled in radio parts and built a transmitter in the camp and broadcast intel about camp activities.
And he escaped more than two years later. With German documents he’d somehow gotten hold of.
Some might think that was enough for one war. Think again.
He went to the Warsaw Ghetto, and fought in the uprising.
And survived.
As I said, I’m still learning about Pilecki. I do know that he was executed by the Soviet puppet government of Poland in 1948.
For working against the Soviets.
“I’ve been trying to live my life so that in the hour of my death I would rather feel joy, than fear.”
– Pilecki, after being sentenced to death

He could have been Red Flagged, subjected to a Mental Health Database, or blocked by a Universal Background Check.
All of these things, and more, would have been nice and legal under his Government.
Duly Processed, too.
The Rebbe Rashab
Here is a letter recently submitted to some Pro-Second-Amendment folks in the Jewish community:
B”H
Dear Sirs, and Rabbi,
Reportedly, Mrs. Kushner (and, by implication, her husband) are the point-persons which President Trump has tasked with coordination with the Anti-2A forces in Congress.
I believe a strong reach-out, from competent rabbinic authority, representing Torah Jewry on this issue is in order. Furthermore, it appears to be very time critical
Were things to proceed as they are trending, Individual Liberty will suffer, and it will by all accounts be seen as being done at the behest of prominent, reputedly observant, Jews.
A very dangerous combination, indeed.
I would suggest skipping the normal Government protocol (spelled B-A-R-R-I-E-R) approach, and instead start by leaving a message for them through Rabbi Levi Shemtov, of American Friends of Lubavitch, in Washington D.C. (around the corner from the Kushner Home).
Much of the reporting on the shooting at the Chabad of Poway synagogue has been odd. Even stories which mention that anyone stood up to the asshole play it down and bring it up late in the story. Some reports fail to mention defense at all, and imply only that the shooting stopped because the weapon jammed. A Breitbart report told more: that an armed congregant passed a weapon to another, who went after chumbucket. Today, we learn that another person helped.
Lori’s husband had a wheel gun hidden safely in a cabinet. Only a few congregants knew about it. The Rabbi is also armed.
The perp parked out front, walked in the open front door. Shots were fired immediately, I’m not sure exactly who was hit first. The Rabbi had a few fingers shot off. Lori took one shot to the abdomen and died instantly.
When husband heard the commotion, he retrieved the wheel gun and tossed it to the BP guy who was praying. There was another ex-military congregant accosted the perp, screaming at folks to get down. The perp panicked and ran to his car. The BP fired several shots into the car, blowing out the back window and possibly hitting a tire. The perp surrendered to local LA a mile down the road.
The perp had multiple mags. A huge massacre was prevented by the presence of that wheel gun.
Armed Rabbi. An emergency house gun. Three more people ready, willing, able to defend their friends. A fourth who got shot deliberately putting himself between the murderer and children.
Heroes. Who clearly understood “Never Again” means stopping the atrocity in its tracks, and being prepared to do just that.

Years ago in a galaxy far far away, I served on the board of a couple of Second Amendment groups. One of them very much a grassroots group and it was very active in the legislative process and citizen lobbying. Contrary to what people are sometimes lead to think, “lobbyist” is not a dirty word, or a bad thing. Many people have jobs, employers seem to expect that their employees will be at those jobs. So, when there is legislation that matters to gun owners be it a bill to expand gun rights or a bill proposing further infringement of a law-abiding citizens rights with yet another gun control scam disguised as “gun safety” it would seem fair that the law-abiding citizen should also have their voice heard. Ahh, the conundrum. What is the law-abiding citizen to do? They have a job, but they also have rights that need to be defended. Well, the Second Amendment groups in the state went together and hired a lobbyist to be present at the hearings and speak on behalf of the voters that held opinions most firm about further infringement of their G-d given rights, namely self-defense. From time to time the lobbyist would be accompanied to these hearings by the leadership of the Second Amendment rights groups, and I was privileged to be one of those. A citizen lobbyist, who also happened to represent a passel of voters. I had the high heels and a sparkly barrette. I considered these vital, but not as vital as a couple of other things I possessed. A mission, and resolve. I enjoyed this mission, legislators can be quite tasty if bar-b-qued with BBQ sauce. /snark, remember, I’m a vegetarian.
It’s been a while since I’ve attended a rally day. In my state there has been a Second Amendment day at the Capitol for years. Usually towards the end of the season, and usually there is a major bill or two we are wanting big time bad, or a big time bad bill we want to see die an inglorious death. I started going back before my state had concealed carry, the lobby was packed full that day, it was standing room only. For years I went every year, even spoke at a couple of them. The last few years I haven’t made it, for various and sundry reasons. But I’ve made it the last couple of years, and this year was just grand.
I did the hike from the parking lot to the capitol and entered the door to the meeting area. The police were there with the airport style scanning machine. I was met by a young police officer when I placed my purse on the table. He regarded my purse dubiously.
Sir: “Ma’am, are you lawfully carrying concealed?”
Me: Yup
Sir: “I’m going to need a driver’s license and a concealed carry card”.
Me: You are an officer of the law, you should already have these credentials.
After a second for my brain to catch up with my mouth, I grinned at him and said, I’ve got to get them out of my purse, ok?
Sir: “Yep, I have a concealed carry. My friends ask me why I bother and I tell them because it’s the right thing to do.”
Me: I like you, I like the way you think.
He regards the depths of my purse skeptically after he studys my cards.
Sir: “Do you carry in your purse?”
Me: Nope.
Sir: “Good, I worry that if a purse was stolen you’ve now lost your defensive tools.”
Me: Oh I do like you, nope, no purse carry.
Sir: “Which side are you carrying on?”
I answer him, and he tells me after I set off the machine the officer at the other end will wand me. I go through, set off the machine get wanded and I’m good to go. I thank them both for what they do.
I went in, said hi to a lobbyist I’ve worked with, sat with some dear people that I haven’t seen for awhile and listened to some great speakers. The MC is well known in the Second Amendment arena as the guy that wrote the book on gun laws. Which is fair enough, he did write the book on gun laws.
It was interesting, the speakers were great, acoustics are always challenging in that room, but still it was good. Two floors up there was some sort of school event going on. A bunch of school children, I’m guessing pre-teen, or early teens must have disapproved of us being allowed to speak in public. When one of the speakers would start to speak, they would start yelling trying to drown out the speaker. Think there is much indoctrination going on in the tax payer funded schools? I’m telling you, Zehut has the right idea, school vouchers for everyone.
After rally we all split up to go speak with our legislators about the bills we want passed, and I also wanted to mention my extreme aversion to “Guilty until proven innocent” Red Flag gun confiscation. I had mentioned my aversion to my former lobbyist mentor and he said while of course the misogynistic mad mommies are pushing for it, it hasn’t gained traction. Good to hear. I don’t know why mad mommies hate women so much that they want to deprive them of a tool that even elderly women can use to equalize the situation, but they do.
Our MC ended the rally with his trademark line, “It’s a good day for liberty”. He always opened his monthly column with that line. And it was a good day for liberty, every day is a good day for liberty. But we must fight for it, there are forces that will not be happy until they have all the power they want, and as long as there are armed citizens, they know that won’t happen. They use whatever tactics they think will work, whether it is going after politicians sympathetic to us with blatant lies and accusations that their allies in the mainstream media help them spread or lies about “ghost guns” or citizens that defended themselves. Be it vote fraud or illegal immigrants voting, they will use it.
We must remain strong in our convictions and our determination. Where the room was packed a few years ago when we wanted, demanded, concealed carry it was now not as full. Attendance was good, but it needs to be bigger. I saw one old friend, he and his young son were there. This man and his wife want their children to learn about freedom and the legislative process and how the two go together. Those kids have been citizen lobbyists since they were probably 4 or 5 years old. Maybe even younger. The legislators sit up and take notice when large groups of people have taken the day off work and showed up to demand their rights be honored. G-d gives rights, legislators recognize or infringe on them.
My lobbying mission finished, I headed for the exit for the drive home. As I walked by the door to the exit I passed the door you enter, Sir and his partner were still there checking people, I smiled and waved at them and said thank you, they both smiled and waved back. It never hurts for the Second Amendment people to be the nice polite friendly ones.
So if you have a chance, and your state has a rally day yearly, go. See friends, network, make friends, talk to your legislative critters. Don’t let bloombergs paid harpies be the only voice being heard at your capitol.
Tonight starts Pesach, Passover. We each leave our own slavery in Egypt behind. I believe it is a constant process, sometimes easier, sometimes harder. But I don’t want to be one of the Jews that chose to stay behind in Egypt rather than face the unknown. I believe that G-d does want freedom for us. This year is a very meaningful Pesach for me, and I hope that you all will have a very blessed holiday as well. Thank you for being with us, The Zelman Partisans as we travel this path together.
Leaving Egypt and slavery
My friend used the line “It’s a good day for liberty” to open his columns, I wrote him and told him I was poaching it for a column. He wrote back fried, poached or boiled, if it’s for the cause it should be used.
I always ride for the brand and I always ended my columns with my own sign off.
I have a girlfriend that recently got a e-mail at her job. She works in a very safe, secure building and profession. It’s a gun-free zone. It’s a two story building with lots of great nooks, crannies and places where people could hide. But hey, they do have a armed security guard. One.
She recently got a email talking about the shooting of a healthcare worker in another state and urging people to keep their eyes open, be aware and take the deescalation classes offered. Oh, well, at least there is a sound plan in place. And there is a plan in place. If they can get to a phone, they can have a page sent out warning and letting security know where the problem is. Then everyone is to hide in place and try to protect their patients.
Officials say within minutes the suspected gunman was in custody. The hospital immediately issued a code silver and locked down the hospital as law enforcement went door to door to ensure the safety of all patients.
Hospital President Charles Williams gave a statement
“As you can imagine…It’s difficult,” Williams said. “Whenever you have someone of your family, we’re family here it’s tough”
Well, I’m sure that is reassuring to the healthcare worker and their family. Might have given them more of a feeling of warm fuzzy if your facility actually made some policy change that didn’t designate them to being a fish in a barrel wearing the proper color of scrubs. FYI, many hospitals have gone to color coding employees. All nursing wears only X color of scrubs, all lab wears only Y color of scrubs, X-ray wears only Z color of scrubs. Most patients don’t seem to realize what it means, but the hospital feels like it’s “done something” from what I heard.
SC hospital security conversation revived after 2 shootings in 2 days. They are discussing making enhanced penalties for attacks against healthcare workers. That was removed as part of sentencing reform in 2010. I’m sure that schizophrenic, or meth head, or pissed off drunk, abusive but “loving” father who just almost killed his toddler, vengeful ex-louse spouse, upset family member will certainly be deterred by increased penalties. That will no doubt stop them cold. I’m not saying they don’t make sense, they do.
But S.C. Hospital Association spokesman Schipp Ames argues health care facilities are a different working environment than anywhere else.
“They’re open to patients and visitors. We have open facilities people can come in and out of. We have sensitive actions with people,” he said. “Why are we not treating them differently?”
The idea, Ames said, is to put enhanced penalties in hospitals that would establish them as designated safe zones.
I’m saying they won’t make a bit of difference. And, I think there is another element that either isn’t being reported yet, or experienced in the US to the degree it has been in Europistan and Englandistan.
The female anaesthetist said the German health service has been completely overwhelmed by the influx of Muslim asylum-seekers who are REFUSING to be treated by female medics. …
She also claimed huge numbers of the asylum-seekers have Victorian diseases including TB, which they risk passing on to locals. …
The doctor, who wished to remain anonymous, wrote to the press back home in the Czech Republic to express her shock at the “unsustainable” situation which she says is now affecting the medical care received by taxpaying Germans. She said: “Clinics cannot handle emergencies, so they are starting to send everything to the hospitals….
“Since last weekend, migrants going to the hospitals must be accompanied by police with K-9 units….
“They abandon the children with pharmacy staff with the words: ‘So, cure them here yourselves!’ So the police are not just guarding the clinics and hospitals, but also large pharmacies.”…
In one shocking incident medic also claimed how migrants STABBED the doctors who tried to save a tiny eight-month-old baby which had been “dragged across half of Europe for three months”.
She said: “The child died in two days, despite having received top care at one of the best pediatric clinics in Germany.
“The physician had to undergo surgery and two nurses are laid up in the ICU. Nobody has been punished.
“The local press is forbidden to write about it, so we know about it through email.
“What would have happened to a German if he had stabbed a doctor and nurses with a knife?
But, lest you think that it’s only the stress of being ill or having a sick family member that brings this out.
Then in Multi-cultural Swedenistan there was the 2016 murder of Alexandra Mezher. The Swedes sent a stern message of warning to any other “refugees” that might thing about doing anything like that in the future.
In August, 2016 he was sentenced to psychiatric care, ordered to pay SEK 300,000 in compensation to Mehzer’s family. If discharged he will also be deported and forbidden from returning to Sweden until 2026. After appeal, the court of appeal upheld the sentence, except extending the deportation until 2031.
Yep, he’d be allowed to return. It’s sort of like the laws making attacking a healthcare worker stiffer. Pointless, but we “did something”.
But it’s not just healthcare clinics and hospitals that feel their employees are a dime a dozen and easily replaceable, despite their being “family” and all.
We’ve all read the stories of Pizza drivers, Uber and Lyft drivers that are expected to be easy targets or face the wrath of their employers.
A pizza deliveryman won’t face charges for fatally shooting a would-be robber several times when he was approached in a high-crime area, but his employer, Pizza Hut, has fired him for violating a company policy against carrying firearms.
“We’re doing all that we can to help him with the transition,” Pizza Hut spokesperson Chris Fuller told the Des Moines Register. The driver, James William Spiers III, was offered two months pay (without tips, naturally) and counseling in exchange for his resignation.
A pizza delivery driver who shot and killed a man who stabbed him during an attempted robbery in Beaver Falls has been fired from his job.
Full disclosure here, I haven’t eaten at a PepsiCo owned joint in years since I found out about their anti-Second Amendment stance. No Taco Smell, No KFC, No Pizza Hut, etc.
But it’s not just pizza delivery drivers that are sitting targets.
Law enforcement sources tell the Problem Solvers surveillance video shows a 14-year-old suspect sticking a gun in the face of the clerk. Moments later the clerk, who has a conceal carry permit, took out his own gun and fired once, hitting the suspect in his stomach.
Nor is it just using a gun that will get you fired.
Do these companies have a right to determine their policies? Certainly. Do they have a right to make a condition of employment that you forfeit your life willingly if attacked a condition of you working for them. Well, I suppose they do. But are those companies and institutions that do this being honest about it? No, no they aren’t. If they were the employment contract would read something along the lines of
In case of emergency, such as being attacked whether by animal or human beast we expect you to willingly leave your spouse alone to raise your children, or in the case of a single parent to leave your children orphans. We expect you to willingly leave your elderly parents grieving the loss of their child and without someone to look after them in their “golden years”. Under no circumstances, and in no way are you to fight back or attempt to preserve your life, or the life of your co-workers or those you take care of, be it school children or patients. But, we will give you two weeks paid vacation, five days of sick time and a mediocre heath-care plan and you can join our credit union.
Naturally the benefits offered would be institution or company specific, but you get the idea.
So, why would it be this way. I suspect it is for the same reasons business have been told by their insurance companies they have to be “gun-free” zones for their insurance. I recently read something that just ticked me right off.
I have been told that many employers ban carry by their employees because they’ve been told that it is less costly to let workers compensation pay for injury or death of the employee than to deal with a lawsuit from someone the employee felt forced to shoot.
All this is because insurance companies want the cheapest way out. Your lives don’t matter to them, your spouse, parents and children don’t matter to them. Remember, the insurance companies supported obamacare.
There are many times I long for a “gun-free zone” liability act. This is one of those time. It’s not that I don’t support the right of a business to make their own policies, I do. I had a conversation with a jeweler one time after I started patronizing his business. At one time he was posted “gun-free” and I wouldn’t go in there. When I noticed the sign was down, I went in to look for a watch band and asked him about it. He said he supported the Second Amendment, he had his CCW and carried, but his insurance company told him he had to do it if he wanted insurance. So how is that giving business owners the right to make their own policies?
Life is precious, even in tough times it can be sweet, there can be good, there can be blessings if we are open to seeing them. That it can be sold out so cheaply by an entity with a bias against it’s preservation by use of an effective tool is just wrong. And it’s evil. That so many young people have been indoctrinated to believe “violence is never the answer” is wrong and evil. Sometimes violence is not only the best answer, it’s the only answer. Because life does matter, don’t ever sell it cheap.
As a child growing up, most of the TV shows tended to portray law enforcement as heroes. They always got there in the nick of time, and if they were called in after the unfortunate event happened? They always knew what to do about that as well. They could do a dandy chalk outline of the corpse and then find out who made that happen to the unfortunate victim. And the really superior thing about law-enforcement back then is they could always make it happen in an hour. Minus the time for commercials of course. That’s not like the modern day shows that have running story lines. Like soap operas did when I was growing up. This is back before the day of “Cops as the bad guys”. Oh of course there have always been bad cops, it’s just they weren’t really so much a part of the TV land experience back then. We were taught to respect them, and if we were in trouble, look for a cop. TV shows where the guys stealing cars were the good guys didn’t happen. Nor was there near the amount of realism that you see in shows today.
Hospitals probably weren’t target rich environments back then, aka “gun-free zones”. But to be honest, I doubt that many people carried while at work either. It’s just that now the signs make it clear unless the crew of “Third Watch” happens to be in the ER waiting room they can pretty much be assured everyone will be doing what the medical staff was doing. Ducking, hiding, running, praying. Because throwing chairs, rocks and baseball bats don’t look to be a viable option to me there. No one is going to be firing back at them.
So if the crew of “Third Watch” happens to be in the ER waiting room, and 1-Adam12 has been dispatched to assist in response to Cruz’s call in for back up, how long will it take for Malloy and Reed to arrive on the scene?
“I would just call 911 for help.” There’s this false sense of security that we have created with the 911 system that has people believing that with a single call, a swat team will be dispatched immediately to save you and your family within moments of the call.
Unfortunately, this couldn’t be further from the truth. So what is the average-police-response-time to a 911 call?
According to American Police Beat, the average response time for an emergency call is 10 minutes. Atlanta has the worst response time with 11 to 12 minutes and Nashville comes in at a lightning speed of 9 minutes.
The Department of Justice, with their statistical prowess, reports that the best response time is 4 minutes and the worst over 1 hour. Interpretation? If you live in an upper income area you probably are privy to the 4 minute response time, while middle to rural areas will see a much longer response time.
Now here is where things get interesting. Even though the Department of Justice determined that the average police response time to a 911 call is 4 minutes, the average interaction time between a criminal and his victim is 90 seconds.
That translates to you being robbed/injured/maimed/raped/murdered and waiting for an additional 2 and a half minutes for the police to arrive. The truth of the matter is that the police will almost always arrive AFTER the crime has happened and the criminal has gone.
In rural areas the time can be even longer. A lot longer. Think 30 minutes, maybe more. It’s not that they are hanging out at donut shops, or trying to get someone at Taco Smell to take their order, there is a lot that goes into 9-1-1 calls, and a lot of calls can go into 9-1-1. The lady with the cat in the tree may have got a call in seconds before you were calling in about the guy fixin to come in through your back door.
There are four possible ways to mitigate the damage inflicted by an active shooter. You can harden the target, arm and train potential victims, strengthen prevention programs and suspect identification, and improve law enforcement response times. Each one of these steps is easier said than done because of the associated bureaucratic, political, and budgetary considerations.
Department of Homeland Security research reveals that the average duration of an active shooter incident at a school is 12.5 minutes. In contrast, the average response time for law enforcement is 18 minutes. That means it only makes sense for us to find ways to improve our response times. Working on our response times is about the only anti-active shooter measure that we can take at the operator level. We must find a way to shave off some time and in doing so, create some type of tactical advantage.
A little discouraging that political weighs into the mix making it harder. But when you consider two Buckets O’Chum in Florida were part of Barry’s social engineering project where by kids got a pass on criminal behavior to make statistics look better and law-enforcement agencies got money in return, I guess it’s the truth. Both of them had criminal actions in their backgrounds. Were they in jail? Juvenile court? Detention? Nope.
But you know what the bottom line on all of this is? They don’t gotta. What do I mean? They police do not have a duty to protect you, yours, your kith or your kin. Or Barbie either for that matter. I know, I know that’s what it says on the side of the Police cars, “To Serve and Protect”. Look, everyone needs a goal, a mission statement if you will. So think of it like that, it’s a goal, it’s their mission. Mine is to lose 7 pounds. They have equal chances of succeeding. They can’t be everywhere at once and fried okra still exists in the world.
This has become an issue again the wake of the actions of the law enforcement of Coward County Florida. Scot Petersen, not the Scott Peterson who murdered his pregnant wife, he’s still on death row, but the deputy who cowered outside as a Bucket O’Chum shot students in a Parkland school after security monitor Andrew Medina failed to confront O’Chum when he saw him or call a “Code Red” in the school. So, because Parkland is a safe gun-free zone and had the crack Coward law-enforcement on hand you have a massive #GunControlFail.
A judge has rejected a deputy’s claim that he had no duty to confront the gunman during the school shooting in Parkland, Florida.
Refusing to dismiss a lawsuit filed by the parent of a victim, Broward Circuit Judge Patti Englander Henning found after a hearing Wednesday that ex-deputy Scot Peterson did have a duty to protect those inside the school where 17 people died and 17 were wounded on Feb. 14. Video and other evidence shows Peterson, the only armed officer at the school, remained outside while shots rang out.
The negligence lawsuit was filed by Andrew Pollack, whose daughter Meadow was killed. He said it made no sense for Peterson’s attorneys to argue that a sworn law enforcement officer with a badge and a gun had no requirement to go inside.
“Then what is he doing there?” Pollack said after the ruling. “He had a duty. I’m not going to let this go. My daughter, her death is not going to be in vain.”
Bloom ruled that the two agencies had no constitutional duty to protect students who were not in custody.
“The claim arises from the actions of [shooter Nikolas] Cruz, a third party, and not a state actor,” she wrote in a ruling Dec. 12. “Thus, the critical question the Court analyzes is whether defendants had a constitutional duty to protect plaintiffs from the actions of Cruz.
“As previously stated, for such a duty to exist on the part of defendants, plaintiffs would have to be considered to be in custody” — for example, as prisoners or patients of a mental hospital, she wrote.
Police are not the only ones shielded from the consequences of the failure to protect. Another truly horrific case is that of DeShaney v. Winnebago County. That was a spectacular failure of a ‘child protection team,’ consisting of a pediatrician, a psychologist, a police detective, the county’s lawyer, several DSS caseworkers, and various hospital personnel, and the juvenile court. They returned a badly abused child to his custodial father. The father did not meet the requirements in the following year and the child protective services did______________nada, zip, zilch, zero, squat. Eventually the poor little four year old boy was beaten so badly he wound up in a institution for the rest of his life. His dad served less than 2 years in jail. And the child protection team? The department of social services that did nothing on their follow up visits? Nothing, nothing happened to any of them when the child’s mother attempted to sue. I’m thinking the court that awarded custody to the dad should be included in the list of shame there as well.
And what say the anti-gun, anti-self defense pink hatted faux feminists? Don’t get a gun, just go through the legal system. Get a restraining order and then sic the cops on him. And Town of Castle Rock v. Gonzales will show you that works as well as the law enforcement team of Coward County. That resulted in 3 dead little girls at the hand of their loving father. The mother had begged police to go find the girls. Her ex walked right through the paper target.
This reality does belie the often-made claim, however, that police agencies deserve the tax money and obedience of local citizens because the agencies “keep us safe.”
Nevertheless, we are told there is an agreement here — a “social contract” — between government agencies and the taxpayers and citizens.
And, by the very nature of being a contract, we are meant to believe this is a two-way street. The taxpayers are required to submit to a government monopoly on force, and to pay these agencies taxes.
In return, these government agents will provide services. In the case of police agencies, these services are summed up by the phrase “to protect and serve” — a motto that has in recent decades been adopted by numerous police agencies.
But what happens when those police agencies don’t protect and serve? That is, what happens when one party in this alleged social contract doesn’t keep up its end of the bargain.
The answer is: very little.
The Mises Institute also makes another excellent point.
The taxpayers will still have to pay their taxes and submit to police agencies as lawful authority. If the agencies or individual agents are forced to pay as a result of lawsuits, it’s the taxpayers who will pay for that too.
Oh sure, the senior leadership positions may change, but the enormous agency budgets will remain, the government agents themselves will continue to collect generous salaries and pensions, and no government will surrender its monopoly on the use of force.
No government will surrender it’s monopoly on power? Well what I ask, could go wrong with that??
“Guns would have served as a vital pillar to remaining a free people, or at least able to put up a fight,” Javier Vanegas, 28, a Venezuelan teacher of English now exiled in Ecuador, told Fox News. “The government security forces, at the beginning of this debacle, knew they had no real opposition to their force. Once things were this bad, it was a clear declaration of war against an unarmed population.”
Under the direction of then-President Hugo Chavez, the Venezuelan National Assembly in 2012 enacted the “Control of Arms, Munitions and Disarmament Law,” with the explicit aim to “disarm all citizens.” The law took effect in 2013, with only minimal pushback from some pro-democracy opposition figures, banned the legal commercial sale of guns and munitions to all – except government entities.
It’s Veteran’s Day, and I recently saw this video and it just nailed me. It broke my heart. That this can be happening in America is a shame, and I mean that literally and an outrage. The fact that there are around 7,000 foreign invaders headed for our southern border and that we should even entertain the thought of allowing any of them in, and giving them any kind of social services or benefits is a disgrace. And to the “do-good” helping hand out private social groups that would help the invaders but are not helping our Veterans first? You are a sham, you are a sham and a fraud.
Someone made the comment to me recently about people not wanting the caravan in the country because they look different than we do. What utter B___ S___. חרה to put it plainly.
I’m not a man, yet I would imagine the vast majority of the veterans in need of help are men. I’m not a black, or a Mexican, and only a little Native American, nor am I Asian. But we have homeless veterans that are, and I can promise you, I care far more about them than I do any illegal invader. No matter how pathetic CNN (#FakeNews) makes them look. We owe our veterans. We owe them a debt of gratitude for their service, and we owe them far more help than they are getting.
With the Demoncratic win in the house, I do not expect to see things improve for them at all.
At the end of the video there is quite a list of agencies should you choose to check them out. I reached out to a friend for some solid leads, and that’s what these are.
These are the statistics given in the video. Just in case you get caught up in the story and don’t absorb them, here they are to read over.
300,000 Veterans sleeping homeless on the streets, and rising.
Over 1.4 million are at risk of becoming homeless.
More than 67% of homeless Veterans served our country for at least 3 years.
Divorce rate among military couples has increased 42%.
An estimated 460,000 veterans suffer from PTSD.
Homeless veterans spend an average of 6 years on the streets.
The veterans administration has resources to serve only a fraction of our veterans.
Nearly 5000 veterans die by their own hands every year.
This is a large part of the list given at the end of the video, if I linked it, the link is active at the time of writing. Some in the video aren’t, and this is not the full list, but it’s a bunch of them.
For those of you who have served in the military, you are heroes. You are my hero, I don’t care if you peeled potatoes or washed sheets. Your families are heroes, because they served in their way right along side of you. You put aside your own life to serve our country, no matter your circumstance in life now, I ask G-d to bless you and your family, and bless ya’ll richly.
Jews. Guns. No compromise. No surrender.
