Apparently the two animals even had an instagram account, and did cute stuff. He really was adorable.
In this short clip the man tells what he and his wife went through, 2:12 long. They have 300 rescue animals they care for. There were 4 departments involved in this, and judges signed off on it.
This took 5 hours, the man’s wife was questioned about her immigration status, they had a search warrant and went through their house like they were looking through Melania’s underwear drawer, Peanut and Fred were kidnapped and murdered. The involved parties are all very proud of their good work in keeping New Yorkers safe from cute squirrels and racoons by murdering aforementioned animals.

This event where armed officers took a pet squirrel from an individual in New York opens a Pandora’s box of the horrors of leftist tyranny. The facts of the incident are disturbing enough: an anonymous instigator over 1000 miles away reported a humble man who had rescued a wounded squirrel and made a pet of him for years. The informer’s motives in doing so can only be guessed, but the owner of the pet had made the horrific mistake in today’s America of supporting conservative thought. A cadre of armed officials got a search warrant, rummaged through the man’s property for five hours, illegally questioned his wife about her immigrant status, ultimately seizing the pet and killing it without giving the owner any recourse to save its life. Now let’s take a look at the universe in which this macabre horrid little leftist “comedy” took place. In a nation overrun by tens of millions of illegal aliens, crushed by rampant crime and gang warfare, enduring a $35 trillion deficit, soul-crushing inflation, a culture of infanticide and child mutilation, sexual dysphoria, and insanity, and waging illegal lawfare against candidates of another party, New York State spent a full day killing a squirrel, that had been a harmless pet cherished by its owner for literally years.
The event in and of itself was just an act of petty cruelty. As a window into a larger universe, however, it is a fissure in the mantle of our world, signaling a cataclysmic eruption that may well end this nation. The tsunami of rage coming from ordinary and loving individuals was quite frankly astonishing.

Apparently Kunce gave one of the Marine led “gun safety” classes to his bestie Adam Kinzinger…yes, the lying crying twerp from the J6 committee, during a campaign event. Apparently “some” of his 13 year experience in the Marines left his head as he is, as I’ve pointed out, a demoncrat.

I guess when you shoot at steel targets from 10 feet away, you get something called “shrapnel”. Said shrapnel can fly off to hit remote and uninvolved targets, like the reporter there covering the event. Which it did. The reporter sustained a wound to his arm which Kunce bandaged.

Why is it, that demoncrats running for office attempt to deceive voters by using their military service to claim they are pro-gun, and have extensive firearms experience with “weapons of war” and then attempt to convince people that they used a semi-automatic sporting rifle in a combat zone? They then try to parlay this “experience” into calling for restrictions on the rights of law abiding gun owners? Tim Walz, Lucas Kunce, the crap just flows all the way down doesn’t it?
So, I would like to put forth two modest proposals. In a slight addition to the Babylon Bee’s most excellent suggestion, I would propose “No demoncrat is ever again to be allowed to vote on any kind of weapons legislation” Guns, knives, bows, any and all of it is off the voting table for a demoncrat. My second suggestion will help recover some of the taxpayer money demoncrats have squandered under the Biden-Harris crime junta. No taxpayer funded for security for any demoncrat politician. They are just fine with legislating a state of defenselessness for their constituents, so it’s obviously fine for them as well. If in their view, its fine for the people that pay their salary to be legislated out of rights, then it should be fine for them. Simple, cheap and saves us money. I would add one small bit to that last part. Any Republican that votes for “citizen control” which is what gun control is, no taxpayer funded security for them either. It’s only fair.
Maybe next time Lucas Kunce and Adam Kinzinger can get go get a nice pedicure instead. Safer for everyone all around that way.
Regulars readers probably already know about this. Prior to Hurricane Helene, Okeechobee Police Chief Donald Hagan declared an emergency and banned the sale of firearms and ammunition, and the public carry of firearms by non-law enforcement.
Since Florida has state preemption of firearms regulation, sane people found this… problematical.
Now the chief and town are scrambling to cover their posteriors. That little error could cost those involved $5,000 apiece, and not out of taxpayers’ pockets.
Fumero’s boss, Okeechobee Mayor Dowling R. Watford, Jr. and police spokesman Detective Jarret Romanello, gave numerous interviews to local media claiming city officials were reviewing the entire incident to determine how the “mistake” occurred.
Automatic emergency measures.—Whenever the public official declares that a state of emergency exists, pursuant to s. 870.043, the following acts shall be prohibited during the period of said emergency throughout the jurisdiction:
(1) The sale of, or offer to sell, with or without consideration, any ammunition or gun or other firearm of any size or description.
(2) The intentional display, after the emergency is declared, by or in any store or shop of any ammunition or gun or other firearm of any size or description.
(3) The intentional possession in a public place of a firearm by any person, except a duly authorized law enforcement official or person in military service acting in the official performance of her or his duty.
He took the ban language straight from that statute. And if that’s all you look at, you might think — as the idiot obviously did — that 870.044 gave him that authority. A declared emergency, right?
But he missed that little “pursuant to s. 870.043”. Sure, there was a weather related emergency; but what sort of emergency does 870.043 cover?
Declaration of emergency.—Whenever the sheriff or designated city official determines that there has been an act of violence or a flagrant and substantial defiance of, or resistance to, a lawful exercise of public authority and that, on account thereof, there is reason to believe that there exists a clear and present danger of a riot or other general public disorder, widespread disobedience of the law, and substantial injury to persons or to property, all of which constitute an imminent threat to public peace or order and to the general welfare of the jurisdiction affected or a part or parts thereof, he or she may declare that a state of emergency exists within that jurisdiction or any part or parts thereof.

No, actually I don’t mean Helene, although that has been horrific, and continues to be. No I mean the devastation caused by Kamala. However, the Biden administration’s weaponization of the FCC blocked nearly 20,000 terminals for the state that would’ve been crucial communication links for residents that have been cut off from the world.
Yes, this would be the same FCC that is fast tracking George Soros’s takeover of 200 radio stations in the U.S. Many of those carry conservative talk shows. Yes, that FCC.

So what else is FEMA interfering with? Rescue efforts.
He’s not the only one that ran into trouble with FEMA over doing rescues. Anyone remember Tim Kennedy from the docu-drama “Hunting Hitler”? Former army ranger, involved with Saving Our Allies and currently involved in rescue efforts from the hurricane and DEI hire Deanne Criswell’s FEMA. FEMA is leaving no room for survivors. As they did in Lahania, they take up all the hotel rooms and then do nothing to help.
You have to love on the ground citizens that are in the right place at the right time to overhear interesting things. One rescue worker was in an airport to pick up pediatric supplies and they were sitting in a private area where there were a bunch of Army and Navy pilots. A private jet came in carry FOUR whole FEMA workers. However did they get that many onto a private jet? But I digress, a private hospital in Ashville has been told they are going to be the morgue, for body recovery. All the Chinooks there are doing body recovery. FEMA said in this conversation in a private area that they are too tied up at the border to send anymore representatives. They are not sending refrigerated trucks for the bodies. A private hospital, and the army are doing body recovery. They said however many you hear on the death count? Add a couple of zeros to it for a more accurate body count. They said private pilots are citizens are the ones bringing in all the supplies. When they went to pick up their supplies there were piles of supplies awaiting the Cajun Navy, ASPCA and several other citizen groups. They’re the ones doing the work.
But this makes sense, because Kamala wants disaster relief to be based on race. So apparently there are too many whites in this area to rank higher than the border.

DEI hire Deanne Criswell of FEMA is showing the same sense of responsibility for the safety of her employees as disgraced former secret service director DEI hire Kimberly Cheadle. Citing “road closed” signs apparently FEMA can’t make it into some areas, reminiscent of the secret service’s inability to cope with “sloped roof” dangers. Just curious, if Jill Biden got Kim Cheadle her job, who recommended DEI hire Deanne Criswell? Hunter Biden?

About that $750 disaster relief Kamala bragged about? FEMA does not list disaster readiness among the top two objectives of the emergency services bureau, whose stated goals on its official website focus first on “Instill[ing] equity as a foundation of emergency management” and “Lead[ing] whole of community in climate resilience” second. “Promote and sustain a ready FEMA and prepared nation” ranks last on the agency’s list of primary concerns.
This one is also covers the history of FEMA failures under DEI hire Deanne Criswell, except if you’re a leftist, they aren’t exactly failures, they’re equity.
Goal 1 of FEMA’s Strategic Plan was to “instill equity as a foundation of emergency management”. FEMA’s Objective 1.1 was also not disaster management, it’s to “cultivate a FEMA that prioritizes and harnesses a diverse workforce”.
FEMA’s leadership was required to make its priority “integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion in delivering the agency’s mission.”
Leading the way in implementing FEMA’s new ideological disaster management was Vice President Kamala Harris who claimed that she had started one of the “first environmental justice units of any DA’s office” when she helped turn San Francisco into a crime zone, and claimed that it’s “communities of color that are most impacted by” weather and natural disasters.
Kamala then argued that “we have to address this in a way that is about giving resources based on equity” so that minorities would be first in line for aid regardless of who has the greater need.
DEI hire Deanne Criswell says people need to stop saying bad things about FEMA workers, it’s dangerous and it’s hurting their feelings and moral. Wow, just wow.
But FEMA is starting to get it in gear, to an extent. One on the ground person reported FEMA has showed up with pallets and pallets of chainsaws!! YAY!! They are all electric chainsaws….for an area with no electricity and who knows when it will be restored. DEI hire…

Twin Falls, Idaho police have an interesting way to “catch criminals faster.”
Both shops say TFPD is trying to force them to use a program called “LeadsOnline.” They claim the program not only acts as a de facto “gun registration program” because it requires personal information about the customer selling the gun as well as information about the firearm being sold.
The gun store owners maintain that this is a form of backdoor gun/owner registration because, unlike typical pawn shops — where the make model, serial number (and often caliber) of a pawned firearm is reported, and only if it comes back stolen do the police request (maybe with a warrant) the identity of the pawning customer — TFPD is demanding names, addresses, phone numbers of every single seller. In advance; preemptively, so to speak.
Note also that per Joshua Van Dyke of Homestead Tactical, none of these shops are pawnbrokers. That’s going to be important.
Idaho has statewide preemption and a constitution that forbids registration. I suppose the police might claim that this isn’t gun owner registration because they’re collecting data on former owners who sold their firearms. Never mind that such sellers in a gun shop (versus a pawn shop) are often trading them in for newer, pricier guns. On the list you go!
But wait… it is not the police department collecting this data. They use a commercial third party, LeadsOnline. Yep, the reporting is online, and data stored online. Think on that.
The police cite city ordinance Chapter 4, Section 10 as their authority to require this reporting.
3-4-10: REPORTS TO POLICE DEPARTMENT:
The Police Department may, at its discretion, require a written monthly report of said business and during the business hours of every day may require a personal examination of the books or records of such pawnbroker, showing the articles or other property purchased, pledged, traded, consigned, or otherwise received. (Ord. 2591, 9-8-1998, eff. 10-1-1998)
Chapter 4 defines pawnbrokers/pawn shops and “secondhand dealers” as separate entities. Reporting is only mandated for pawnbrokers (as opposed to Section 3-4-11 3-4-11: CLOSING HOURS, which specifically addresses both “Every “pawnbroker” or “secondhand dealer.” See above; neither Quick Response nor Homestead Tactical are pawnbrokers; the requirement doesn’t apply.
Did the police simply decide that all parts of Chapter 4 apply to all pawn shops and secondhand shops?
Not really. Per Homestead Tactical’s Joshua, “[T]he PD is choosing to only enforce this against gunshops-the city ordinance, however, is not specifically limited to retail firearms shops only. In other words, the PD isn’t going after other businesses (small engine repair, used cars, etc.) that handle serialized items. They are being discriminatory in the application of the city ordinance.”
To my mind, that only firearms are being subjected to this snooping turns this into a 2A — and Article 1 Section 11 of the state constitution — issue. Preemption violation.
Twin Falls Police are collecting data — via an online third party of unknown computer network security capabilities — in violation of the state constitution and preemption.
Say; did TFPD vet LeadsOnline’s security to ensure innocent sellers’ data cannot be hacked? Does TFPD incur any liability if data they demanded gets stolen? Who knows? The police did not respond to my inquiry. At all. Not even an automated “out of office” message. Likewise, Idaho Dispatch’s Greg Pruett was unable to pry answers out of TFPD’s media contact, Lieutenant Craig Stotts. I tried Chief Kingsbury, too; -crickets-.
They are also — surprise! — violating Article 1, Section 17 of the state constitution.
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures shall not be violated; and no warrant shall issue without probable cause shown by affidavit, particularly describing the place to be searched and the person or thing to be seized.
If that language seems oddly familiar, then you recognized that the police are also violating the Fourth Amendment to the US Constitution by demanding warrantless access to the stores’ customer records.
And in this refreshing post-BRUEN environment, TFPD should be scrambling to find some old laws to show their scheme “is consistent with the Nation’s historical tradition of firearm regulation.”
If the Twin Falls police are talking to anyone about this, for their sake, it had better be attorneys; good ones. What with exceeding their authority, preemption violations, and multiple violations of state and federal constitutions, they’re in trouble.
Added: Another Fourth Amendment aspect to this occurred to me, based on a recent Fifth Circuit case. In United States v. Smith, the Circuit Court found that geofencing — a sweeping identification of everyone in a specified area in a specified timeframe — violated the privacy rights of all those caught up in the net who were not suspects. There was a lack of probable cause to look up everyone.
And isn’t that exactly what the TFPD is doing? ID all your customers, just in case one might have committed a criminal act. We don’t need no steenkin’ probable cause.
The Fourth Circuit has upheld geofencing, so we now have a Circuit split, ripe for SCOTUS review. Perhaps this would be a good time to get the Ninth Circuit involved, potential leading to the Supreme Court.

One of his major accomplishments besides allowing his cities to burn during the George Floyd riots to enact social justice for a drug addicted thief who once pointed a gun at the stomach of a pregnant woman during a robbery was putting tampon dispensers in the boy’s bathroom in schools. Boy if nothing else screams poor judgment, one would think that would! But I’ll see if I can up the ante.
Since we’re on the topic of the George Floyd riots, lets look at how the people #TamponTim is closest to dealt with the riots that burned businesses to the ground and saw many attacked by the likes of Antifa and BLM.
His wife Gwen kept the windows open because she enjoyed the smell of the city burning to the ground.
The wife of Democrat VP-pick Tim Walz said during an interview in 2020 that she kept her windows open for as long as she could so she could smell the burning of tires rioters set on fire during the Minneapolis-area riots in response to the death of George Floyd.
During the 2020 riots, cities like Minneapolis burned, costing hundreds of millions of dollars in damage. Gov. Walz has been criticized for his slow response to the destruction and violence by the left-wing protesters.
“We had more sleepless nights during the riots,” Gwen Walz told an ABC News affiliate back in July 2020. “I could smell the burning tires, and that was a very real thing. I kept the windows open as long as I could because I felt like that was such a touchstone of what was happening.”
Well, perhaps his daughter is slightly less deranged than her parents? Nope.
On May 30, 2020, Walz’s daughter, now 23, reportedly reposted and responded to an account on X, formerly Twitter, that urged all protesters to “GET OUT NOW” because the National Guard and SWAT were allegedly on their way to the scene of the Minneapolis riots. In the post thread, she insisted to protesters that the National Guard “WILL NOT be present tonight.”
Her reported post stated that “there is a lot of misinformation that is further spreading fear and chaos at the scene of the protests..the guard can not be sent in within minutes. it takes time for them to deploy because they come from all over the state. to be clear, the national guard will not be present tonight. just because someone asked for something doesn’t mean it’s happening right away or even happening at all. i don’t know about swat but what i do know is the guard will not be present arresting people tonight.”
And how about the radical jihadi Walz is so crazy about? Illan Omar?

Did the former prosecutor and VP nominee strongly urge stiff sentences for those that rioted and burned the livelihood and hard work of innocent Americans to the ground? Did she object to the innocent people violently attacked? Naw, in true Demoncratic form, she sided with the criminals. Demoncrats are sometimes predictable.

The Minnesota Freedom Fund went on to bail out multiple convicted murderers and other violent criminals in the years following the riots, according to court records.
Now we’ll hit the big one, the “weapons of war” comment.
As I’m sure everyone knows, #TamponTim didn’t go to “war”, he went to Italy and then misrepresented his service and his rank.
The AR-15 is a semi-automatic firearm that bears some superficial similarities to those “weapons of war,” but does not work in the same manner. They’re not the same gun, and yet he stood there and said they were.
But it’s good to be a demoncrat if you’re dishonest, the media will lie for you. Like a rug and without a payoff.
Vice President Kamala Harris has already been an integral part of the most extreme anti-Second Amendment administrations in American history. But things will get even worse for responsible gun owners if Harris takes charge next January.

And perhaps one might wonder why would Old Kamel-toe and #TamponTim be so dead set on leaving ordinary Americans defenseless against the criminals they embrace?
Because they’re tyrants, or at least aspiring tyrants.

Harris announced her new platform after pitching a few new economic policies this week that included price caps for food, centralizing economic power, condemning capitalism, and calling for the arrest of all bourgeoise scum.

And #TamponTim? He had Minnesota national guard fire paintballs at innocent civilians standing on the own from porches during his draconian covid lockdown rules.
A major study at Oxford University which tracked equal numbers of vaccinated and unvaccinated kids shows that only the vaccinated kids are dying unexpectedly and experiencing myocarditis and pericarditis.
Expect health authorities to ignore this because otherwise it would make them look bad.

Zaman has publicly promoted claims that Hitler was a misunderstood hero and declared “[Palestine’s]… right to defend itself “the day Hamas invaded Israel on Oct. 7 and killed roughly 1,200 people.

In April 2019, the cleric delivered an invocation before Walz’s state address — just months after Zaman called for an end to a government shutdown at a press conference with Walz in January 2019.
Zaman, moreover, attended a May 2019 event that Walz hosted for Ramadan, social media posts show.
Walz’s ties to Zaman could serve as problematic baggage for the Minnesota governor as he campaigns with Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee. News of the ties also comes after a Washington Free Beacon report this week found Walz spoke at a 2019 event with an antisemitic scholar who has defended terrorism against Israel.

In recent years, Zaman has also appeared to equate Hamas committing terrorism to Israel defending itself. State records reviewed by the Washington Examiner show Walz’s administration has awarded over $100,000 in funding to MAS Minnesota.
The Muslim American Society was once described by federal prosecutors as being “founded as the overt arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States,” court records show. The MAS, which the United Arab Emirates designated as a terrorist group in 2014, came under fire in 2019 after a video surfaced online of children at an event held by its Philadelphia chapter calling for the murder of Jews.
“We will chop off their heads, and we will liberate the sorrowful and exalted Al-Aqsa Mosque,” two young girls said at the event, according to the Times of Israel.

The Eighth Circuit has tossed the ATF’s pistol brace rule. The Court didn’t bother addressing the Administrative Procedures Act violations, because they found that another element of the challenge to the rule sufficed all by itself. The decision is thirty-three pages, but this one little excerpt pretty much summarizes it.
Thus, the Coalition is likely to succeed on the merits of its argument that this step is arbitrary and capricious; the ATF “has articulated no standard whatsoever for determining” when a stabilizing brace’s rear surface area would allow the shouldering of a weapon.
Huh; “arbitrary and capricious.” Where have I heard that before? Oh, yeah; in The Zelman Partisans’ original comment of the Notice of Proposed Rule-Making, more than three years ago.
This proposed rule is an incoherently expressed description of an arbitrary, capricious, and incoherent process of classifying firearms.
As no standards were given, a subjective examiner’s guesstimate of “rear surface area” could pass a brace, or put it right on the edge of alleged short-barreled rifle by itself. Will one examiner estimate the “rear surface area” of a cuff-type brace by the physical area of the rear EDGE of the cuff, while another goes by the area of the space ENCLOSED by the cuff?
We could have saved a lot of time and money if the ATF jackbooters had simply taken note of that at the time. But the ATF livesd for — and on — “arbitrary and capricious.” As backed up with Chevron deference, which the courts have also taken away from them.
Among other gadgets which the ATF-Troop unilaterally declared to be NFA items — machine guns, specifically — was the forced reset trigger and like items.
Having considered the above-referenced filings and applicable law, th4e Court concludes thatthe Defendants engaged in unlawful agency action taken in excess of their authority. Therefore, the Courts GRANTS Plaintiffs’ Motion for Summary Judgement and DENIES Defendants’ Cross-Motion for Summary Judgement.
Note: The judge didn’t say the ATF exceeded its authority and leave it at that. He specifically and explicitly stated that they acted unlawfully; they broke the law. And he called out their BS on claiming FTRs turn semiautos into machine guns.
An FTR is a device that forcibly returns the trigger to its reset state. In the commercialized FRT designs at issue in this litigation, the trigger is forcibly reset by the hammer when the bolt carrier cycles to the rear. A “locking bar” mechanically locks the trigger in its reset state, preventing the user from moving the trigger rearward to function by releasing the hammer, until the bolt has returned to the in-battery position and the firearm is safe to fire.

When firing multiple shots using an FRT, the trigger must still rest after each round is fired and must separately function to release the hammer by moving far enough to the rear in order to fire the next round.

Plaintiffs’ cgun definition as applied to FRTs ontend that the ATF’s broadened view of the machinegun definition as applied to FRTs is an unlawful expansion of the agency’s authority.Plaintiffs are correct.
Interestingly, there seems to be no mention of CHEVRON deference to agency interpretations, or Loper Bright‘s reversal of such deference. The judge simply noted that both plaintiffs and defendants agreed of how FTRs work, but that the ATF improperly called semiautos machine guns.
