The Proof is in the trauma bandage

I suspect most of The Zelman Partisan’s readers will not be shocked to find out that I consider Democrat/Communist policies in dealing with crime to be utter abject failures. And we are beginning to see some increasingly large failures of the same genre.

First up the required disclaimer. All my children have either four legs and fur, or two legs and feathers. All were home-schooled and are perfectly well behaved, well adjusted fur-children. For the most part. Usually. They only have occasional lapses. But again, I find it necessary to write some thoughts about Democrat/Communist policies that will affect children, and therefore affect society at large. It goes way back, and has spawned all kinds of additional societal ills that just didn’t need to happen. These are fed and nurtured by corrupt Democrat/Communist politicians with their own agendas to advance.

Let’s start going way back to Skittles and Watermelon Arizona ice tea boy who had been suspected of breaking into houses. He later attacked what the #MSM #FakeNews would label a “White Hispanic” named George Zimmerman. Skittles boy had a history of issues with the law-enforcement. But due to the Obama policy of not relaying information about dangerous students of color to law-enforcement to lower statistics of crime committed by them, he was still walking around, burglarizing, and assaulting freely. As was the Marjory Stoneman Douglas attacker. Because like the Wuhan Flu virus numbers, it doesn’t matter to Democrat/Communists what the outcome will be, only how they can get the #MSM to frame the reports, how they frame the narrative.

BECAUSE THEY LOVE THEIR IDEOLOGY MORE THAN THEY LOVE CHILDREN

Did Lax Obama-Era School-Discipline Policies Enable the Parkland Shooter? Spoiler alert, YES.

That trial and media circus gave rise to Burn Loot and Murder if I’m not mistaken.

Same set of circumstances allowed for the “wayward youth” at Marjory Stoneman Douglas to remain free to slaughter some of his classmates, and allowed the Coward of Broward to become a household name. And then it allowed a self-absorbed, unimportant, attention seeking child, #MoneyHogg to slither his way into the limelight for more than his share of the 15 minutes of fame. A child who wasn’t there when it happened, but jumped on his bicycle as I recall, and pedaled furiously towards the school. Ha! You thought I was heading toward Greta Thunberg didn’t you?

Then there was this in Fl. Florida Judge Clears Student Who Threatened School Shooting And Draws Town’s Wrath

And, what changed? Nothing. There is criminal element of society that can break the law without a worry. It won’t be reported, or it will be covered up. No worries. And this will keep them from being stigmatized. Or forced to get help. Or force their parents to take some responsibility.

And what does that get us? A bunch of 6-11 year olds, I have also heard 7-11 year old “children” who car-jacked a guy running for mayor of Atlanta for those who don’t think Keisha Bottoms is corrupt enough for their liking. Now, this to me, is actually kind of amusing. The councilman voted to defund the police, then lost a fight with a bunch of 6 or 7 to 11 year olds who stole his 2016 Mercedes. He complained it took the police 45 minutes to respond. Apparently a social worker was unavailable. But the carjacking waifs knew a kindred spirit when they jacked one. The Democrat is currently under indictment on charges of wire fraud, mail fraud, bank fraud involving the purchase of a Mercedes C300, as well as a Range Rover.

To Democrat/Communists it’s not important that you be good, moral, decent and competent. It’s important that you fill in the right boxes.

And if you check the right victimhood boxes, you have got yourself a “get out of trouble free” card.

And the idiot councilman? He lives to lie, cheat and steal some more another day. Unlike the poor Uber eats driver that was car jacked and murdered by the 13 and 15 year olds in Washington DC. That poor man wasn’t cheating, defrauding, voting to “Defund the Police”, he was just trying to make a living.

BUT IT’S FOR THE CHILDREN

He like many innocent victims, pay the price for the votes of idiots like the Atlanta councilman. And what is the Atlanta councilman going to do to make Atlanta safer for law abiding citizens? Press charges? Oh heck no, he’s going to yammer on and on with excuse after excuse for their behavior, so they should be plenty emboldened to try that again. Maybe next time racking up a murder of their own since there were no consequences. And the idiot councilman? No consequences for his actions putting the citizens of Atlanta at greater risk. But he does get to go full on virtue signal for a news cycle!

When virtue signals fail h/t Mike for the meme.

Also included in the But It’s For The Children column, is the story about the rabid 16 year old who tried to stab two girls to death in front of a police officer while bystanders did absolutely nothing to stop it. An armed police officer, with his gun out, who warned her multiple times to drop the knife and quit trying to kill other people. Unlike some of the other incidents nothing new really came out of that except the constant reminder that some basketball player that reportedly falls down in agony when he has a hangnail criticized the police officer for saving two black girls lives that day. And a little dog. #LDLM.

Policies on how to deal with juvenile delinquents changed? None. Statements from leading Democrat/Communist party leaders condemning the violence and lack of responsibility from both the parents and the children involved? None. Media investigations into what the heck has happened to our society that we are seeing an increase in the number of serious crimes by juvenile delinquents and an increase in severity of the crimes committed. Ho hum, yawn, none. Unless of course there is a defensive shooting by a white police officer. Where upon the media will canonize the utes, despite the better than good chance the utes would bash the news reader over the head, steal their purse, wallet and jack their car if give the chance.

And, problems not confronted and dealt with tend to grow.

The latest incident I’ve heard of involves a 12 year old boy and a 14 year old girl who attacked a attendant/worker at the Florida United Methodist Children’s home. The news report says the girl hit the worker with a stick. Hmm, why do I suspect this sounds more like a beaten employee?

But it seems there is a policy called juvenile justice, and restorative justice. The results of that policy are that a 14 year old who had been arrested for stealing dogs, was sentenced to teen court. She failed to comply. She then set 5 fires in a wooded lot which came close to several homes. The department of juvenile justice then decides that felony arson isn’t a serious crime and to return her to her mother. Her mother can’t control her, so she’s back in foster care, she runs away several times, and winds up in this Methodist children’s home. Which according to the good Sheriff is totally incapable of dealing with this kind of criminals. In fact, in March of this year, a 15 year old boy at the group home pled no contest to the manslaughter charge of a security guard. The sheriff’s department was called to the group home around 300 times in 2020. I would say something in the juvenile justice and restorative justice plan is a serious failure. To make it more exciting for the citizens of Volusia county, though they may not know it, is that same children’s home that couldn’t control these two criminals is taking in illegal aliens from the border.

These two bottom feeders (they are not children) fired what actually may have been a AK-47 and a pump shotgun along with some sort of pistol at the deputies. Now, while those on the left scream about safe storage of firearms, may I refer you to the couple of lines further up. The 14 year old female attacked a group home worker with a stick (who knows, it’s the media, it may turn out to be a baseball bat) and she tried to burned down a group of homes in April of this year. She didn’t need a gun, she just took advantage. I have no doubt had the homeowners been home, they would have needed their defensive tools quickly to have protected themselves from the thugs. Because obviously life means nothing to the perpetrators. The 12 year old boy had done something called “transient threats”. Doesn’t sound too bad, right? Well in this case, it meant the 12 year old in foster care since 2016, had threatened to throw a brick at an administrator and also had 5 days later threatened to kill a student, pee and spread his guts all over the bleachers. For that he was suspended for a whole 3 days.

The Sheriff talked about his team watching as the 14 year old totally destroyed the inside of the home owners nice home. She took a baseball bat and smashed furniture, toilets and anything else she cared to. You think she wouldn’t have smashed people?

The 14 year old told the 12 year old they were going to “roll it down like it was GTA”. I understand that is grand theft auto. A game. I remember hearing Lt Col Dave Grossman talk about this in a class. The effect these violent video games have on children’s brains. They did a series of MRIs showing what was happening. He is co-author of a book about this. Stop Teaching Our Kids to Kill : A Call to Action Against TV, Movie and Video Game Violence Written in 1999 I might add.

But you know one of the things that struck me as the good Sheriff talked about this, was his compassion for the homeowners who had done nothing wrong, and his team who had done nothing wrong. He had compassion for the innocent parties who were just trying their best to deal with the #Shiff that liberal policies are creating and emboldening. It seems rare these days to hear anyone express compassion for the innocent people that weren’t doing anything wrong, just minding their business and going about their lives not bothering anyone or anything and have their lives turned upside down by scum like these 12 and 14 year olds.

I think the media was really struggling wanting to side with the criminals as is their usual game plan.

There is a pattern here. And it’s not limited to America, it’s a pattern consistent with criminals that have learned how to play the game.

Children and Arabs in Israel, hamass.

Both the juvenile delinquents in America who know nothing is going to happen to them, whether they are blm, antifa, run of the mill thugs and the Arabs in Israel, both (some) Israeli Arabs and Gazans know the #MSM and the #UN will run cover for them. Like Commie-Kamala bleating about “root causes” excuses will be made for criminal behavior, illegal aliens with long rap sheets will be turned loose to murder again. The un-ending swarm of 3rd world dependents the Democrat/Communist regime is importing to skew voting and force us to support them as they take American jobs. These polices haven’t worked, and they aren’t going to work, but then they weren’t meant to work for our benefit, only the benefit of those seeking to conquer and rule.

Murderous arabs will have a room in their house destroyed. There is now a cease fire with hamass in Israel, and the can will be kicked down the road.

Israel needs to finish the war with hamass. This cease fire will allow hamass to get more rockets from Iran paid for with American money, and build more terror tunnels. Ceasefires don’t work with hamass because they don’t seek peace, they too seek to rule and their behavior and atrocities will be excused by the same people that excuse the behavior of the criminals in the US.

The deferral of serious consequences for young criminals, regardless of color, age and sex needs to end. It’s not helping. They aren’t being reformed, they aren’t changing path. Restorative justice isn’t working.

But the Democrat/Communist party will double down on their failed policies. Because it’s not about actual results, it’s about optics and appearances.

Who is responsible? Kamala Harris, openly bailing rioters out of jail, the media making excuses for criminals with lethal doses of fentenyl in their system who pointed a gun at a pregnant woman’s stomach during a robbery, a pair of 13 and 15 year old car jackers who killed a man, the justice system corrupted by Democrat/Communists and George Soros elected Prosecuting attornies who turn these criminals lose encouraged the 12 and 14 year olds in Volusia County to think they could shoot at deputies with no consequences. As I listened to the 14 year old cry on the deputies body cam I really didn’t feel much sympathy for her. She chose this, she chose to attack a group home worker who tried to stop them from running off, she chose to break in to the nice house, she chose to try to kill deputies, and she chose to ignore their many offers to make contact and to surrender. See, they have learned in the Democrat/Communist America of Biden and Harris, crime carries no consequences. These juvenile thugs are the people that the “Defund the Police” crowd would abandon us to face disarmed. As I understand it, many of the new gun buyers are first time gun buyers. And seeing what is roaming the streets and our neighborhoods increasingly barren of law-enforcement, who can blame them? Because with this kind of predator, it is protect yourself against them, or they will try to kill you.

And after the pair had fired massive amounts of rounds trying to kill the deputies, as soon as the scene was secured they sprang into action to try to save her life. Because they’re law-enforcement.

And the proof is in the trauma bandages.

Here is an excellent press conference with the good Sheriff Mike Chitwood. He is quite plain spoken.

Wise Judges, judgment and the lack thereof

Admittedly, this column is a bit behind the times, I apologize. Parshah Shoftim was a few weeks ago. And part of the Parshah really hit home. Probably because if I spend any time at all listening to the news, all I hear is impeachment, impeachment, impeachment (said is the best Jan Brady whine). The secret Soviet style hearings which include only progressive #Demoncrats, the liar Adam Shiff-less., and lots of leaks, lots and lots of leaks.

Shiff-less

But here’s the relevant portion of the Parshah that got me to thinking

Part of Parshah Shoftim

This is from Deut./Devarim דברים

19:16.

Haven’t all of the women hired to attack Kavenaugh recanted? After they and their complicit media tried to ruin his and his family’s lives. Of course.

And the penalty for that?

No matter the crime, gun control is the answer. Knee-jerk gun control response to deadly shootings

Honest law-abiding gun owners, judged guilty for the acts of criminals.

And as Sammy “The Bull” Gravano points out, the mob will always have guns. You only have to listen to the first couple minutes if you want.

Well, the mob and #Bozo’s armed guys he would have sent in to make sure American Citizens complied with his rules, so they could “recover” the AR-15s and AK-47s. Recover? Were they missing before they were stolen by #Bozo?

The murderer of Kate Steinle went free, he literally got away with murder. And posters put up at a liberal Kalifornia college campus honoring her and reminding people of the cost of illegal un-checked invasion have been deemed racist my the college administrators. Color me shocked.

This is wise judgment?

But the real hypocrisy of liberals is on full display in a fairly recent bill proposed by Sen. John Cornyn -Rep of Texas. He proposed a bill to “combat mass shootings”. He proposed to do this by

It would expand resources for mental health treatment, facilitate the creation of “behavioral intervention teams” to monitor students exhibiting disturbing behavior and offer new tools for law enforcement.

The bill’s school safety proposals are a response to years of school shootings perpetrated by young people described as isolated and troubled.

What is their objection you ask?

Privacy experts and education groups, many of which have resisted similar efforts at the state level, say that level of social media and network surveillance can discourage children from speaking their minds online and could disproportionately result in punishment against children of color, who already face higher rates of punishment in school.

“This is all very frightening,” an education policy consultant, who has been tracking the legislation, told The Hill. “There’s no real research, or even anecdotal information, to back up the idea … that following everything [kids] do online is really a way to determine that they’re going to be violent.”

Now, I’m not a fan of monitoring or big brothering anyone. But this is hypocrisy at it’s finest. And if you don’t believe me, you could ask Alexandria Keyes. She was suspended from school for five days after she posted a picture of herself with her brother.

The two are shown holding guns and the photo is captioned, “Me and my legal guardian are going to the gun range to practice gun safety and responsible gun ownership while getting better so we can protect ourselves while also using the First Amendment to practice our Second Amendment.”

Oh the shock, the horror, the carnage! Oh, wait there wasn’t any. The girl and her brother just went to the range practiced marksmanship and harmed no one. But panties were being twisted into a bunch at a rapid rate, and Alexandria was suspended for disrupting school. Huh? She wasn’t at school, she didn’t use a school computer to post the picture. Sen. Cornyn’s bill only monitors online activity while the students are using school computers.

Abbe Smith, Chief Communications Officer for Cherry Creek School District, told me that the decision to suspend Keyes “involved multiple social media posts that concerned the school community and resulted in multiple parents keeping their kids home from school out of concern for safety.” Smith said that federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act protections prevent her from discussing the details of the case, including disclosing the other photos the district allegedly considered in Keyes’ suspension.

More about this

The school’s policy references Colorado law, which defines the grounds for suspension as “behavior on or off school property that is detrimental to the welfare or safety of other pupils or of school personnel, including behavior that creates a threat of physical harm to the child or to other children.”

… According to Cherry Creek School Board policy, the school district reserves the right to suspend students who “[repeatedly interfere] with a school’s ability to provide educational opportunities to other students.” Over the phone, Smith noted that since multiple parents kept their children home after becoming aware of the post, Keyes’ photo could be viewed as an impediment to the school’s ability to educate, even if the district didn’t ultimately make its decision based on the chances that Keyes posed a physical threat. Does this mean parental fears can be a mechanism for the school district to veto a teen’s extracurricular activities?

Is Cherry Creek not worried that this is going to prevent Alexandria from speaking her mind online? Maybe Cherry Creek never got the memo from the educational policy consultant that monitoring online activity of children is not effective in determining if they are going to be violent later?

And those sanctimonious sniveling parents that bullied the school into suspending her? They have accused her falsely. She has done nothing wrong. They have left a mark on her school record because of their hoplophobic tiny minds. They have allowed their lack of education and knowledge to deprive her of five days worth.

What should then be their sentence?

False statements given to police because someone wants someone’s guns seized in a storm trooper operation because they are A) mad at their uncle B) don’t like how someone voted C) don’t think people should be allowed to own guns D) ___________________ for whatever reason. Police show up, guns are seized and sometimes, sometimes, people die. Red Flag laws, the height of hypocrisy coming from progressives.

What then should be their sentence? And what should their sentence be if it results in the death of an innocent gun own, exactly as they intended it would?

Addressing Myth and Misinformation Part 1

Imagine the deaths if the shooter [Las Vegas] had a silencer, which the NRA wants to make easier to get. Our grief isn’t enough. We can and must put politics aside, stand up to the NRA, and work together to try to stop this from happening again.”

I’m not an ordained minister; I’m not a theologian, but these guys [NRA] are going to hell.”6

Lily Eskelsen Garcia, sixth grade teacher, Utah, and Vice President National Education Association [NEA] the nation’s largest teacher’s union.

Television news reporters often refer to semiautomatic rifles as “assault weapons,” say guns “go off accidentally,” infer AR15s are capable of full-automatic fire, employ the phrase “gun violence,” and display background screen icons (Browning High Power for example) in reports on violent assaults even when the weapon used was a knife. If journalists are going to bang on authoritatively about something, shouldn’t they know what they’re talking about? Considering network news is for many people their sole source of information, isn’t it important for journalists use proper terminology? Improper use of terms can confuse and mislead the public with respect to laws, regulations, and the types of firearms owned by citizens. I’ve dropped notes to journalists apprising them of proper terms when they used them incorrectly and all responses were cordial. Scott Goldberg of ABC News who incorrectly claimed bump stocks turned semiautomatic rifles into machine guns, refused to respond. Chris, a reporter in the Kansas City news market, agreed that news reports employ biased terminology. He revealed when discussing firearms, incorrect terms are actually provided through press releases issued by Police Public Information Officers relative to a crime under investigation and in scripts written by producers. Journalists are also guided by playbooks listing approved vocabulary that reflect political bias. For example abortion supporters are called “Pro-Choice” even though the choice promoted is abortion and opponents, who call themselves Pro-Life, are instead labeled “Anti-Abortion” or “Anti-Choice” hardly neutral or objective. Chris revealed he was chastised by his boss for saying “illegal alien” instead of the approved term “undocumented immigrant.” Job security enforces compliance.7

Perhaps at no time in American history has the meaning of words mattered more. Consider how for the past 50+ years the Left’s agenda driven political ideology has shaped America. Their control over public education is monolithic, they own pop-culture, the movie, music, and entertainment industries, dominate print and broadcast journalism, influence Catholic, Protestant, and Jewish denominations, and have invaded professional sports. In public education, they write the narrative and point of view allowed to be taught to such a degree, classrooms are little more than indoctrination centers. As a teacher I came up against the Liberal’s hegemonic sway over what kids are taught and their ‘Edstapo’ goons on constant prowl for heretics and dissenters (especially true in SocialIST studies departments). There are ways of being burned at the stake without using fire. Spoon feeding a biased curriculum to an unknowing gullible captive audience is bad enough but perhaps worse is what they leave out. Political Correctness, invented by Stalin,8 dictates what kids are taught on every issue from global warming, immigration, economics, the Constitution, and gender bending, to the meaning of the 2nd Amendment. Not taught the other side? They don’t even know one exists!

For years I’ve warned regardless of how many 2nd Amendment victories are won, America is always a mass shooting and Supreme Court appointments away from losing everything. Fewer Americans than ever today grow up exposed to firearms whether through hunting, target practice, or competition. Their source for information on firearms comes from pop-culture, news and social media, and public education all dominated by liberals hostile to the 2nd Amendment. At some point in their life, an individual is responsible for searching out the truth on any issue. But it doesn’t work that way. Americans are too intellectually lazy to bother. Rather than the rebuke so richly deserved for indolent self-inflicted ignorance, with patience and perseverance the great-unwashed must be educated. Hence this primer. Based on statements in the news and social media, to some degree non-gun owners seem to believe anyone can walk into a gun store, hand over cash, and walk out a few minutes later with a firearm. Is this true?

Only those legally eligible can purchase firearms and only in the state of their residence. Age requirements apply; 18 for rifles and shotguns, 21 for handguns, and they must present a valid drivers’ license. If expired, suspended, revoked, or they moved without updating the address on their license, purchase is denied. Everything is in order, can they now buy a gun? No. They must complete federal form 4473 providing identifying information; name; date and place of birth, social security number, and so forth. Next they’re required to answer a series of questions including who is the actual purchaser of the firearm. Buying it for someone else, a “straw-purchase,” is prohibited. Additional questions include; are they a convicted felon, under felony indictment, a fugitive from justice, drug user, dishonorably discharged from the military, renounced their citizenship, in the country illegally, not a U.S. citizen, subject to a restraining order, or if they have been convicted of domestic violence, misdemeanor or not. A yes answer to these questions means they cannot buy a firearm. An untruthful answer is a felony punishable by federal prison, fines, and loss of the right to own firearms, vote, and hold state or federal jobs…forever. Suppose they lie?

Once form 4473 is completed and signed by a customer, gun stores must call the F.B.I.’s National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS). Police agencies and the military are required by law to provide information on prohibited individuals to the F.B.I. who, in turn, enter it into a centralized data base. Upon receiving a request for authorization to sell a gun from a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder, the F.B.I. searches its data base determining if the intended purchaser is not legally prohibited. It’s the F.B.I. who authorizes or denies sales. Suppose a buyer has no criminal record but is mentally unstable? Information on those adjudicated through a legal process as “mentally defective” or having been institutionalized, is also entered into the F.B.I.’s data base and they will be denied purchase. Can’t an FFL just skip all this?

Commercial gun sales can only be made by FFLs. Information on each firearm they receive through purchase, trade, and so forth, must be entered into a logbook along with information as to whom it is ultimately sold. Logbooks are subject to random inspection by the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, and Firearms [BATF]. Whether storefront or homebased, FFLs must be able to account for every gun taken in and or sold. Data entry discrepancies may lead to revocation of the FFL and felony prosecution. If the business is sold or closes, logbooks and all 4473 forms are transferred to the BATF, a form of registration. If denied purchase at a gun store, can’t prohibited persons buy firearms at gun shows through some kind of “loophole?”

Gun show promoters lease venues for their events in turn renting space to FFLs, often gun stores. All laws and requirements with respect to buying and selling guns apply at gun shows. Private sales may occur but typically comprise hunting rifles, shotguns and relics. Police officers and AFT Agents are often on hand supervising compliance. Only a miniscule number of criminals purchase firearms at gun shows. Typically they obtain them through burglary and theft. But what about these machine guns we keep hearing about. Can’t anyone walk in and out of a gun store with machine guns?

In 1934, Congress passed the National Firearms Act [NFA] regulating various firearms and devices commonly known as “silencers,” but its main focus was submachine guns, those capable of firing continuously with one pull of the trigger. Submachine guns were not banned. Instead, owners paid a $200 stamp tax and registered the firearm with the federal government.9 The Gun Control Act [GCA] of 1968 was interpreted by the BATF to prohibit the importation of fully automatic firearms by civilians. In 1986, the GCA was amended by the Hughes Amendment (Representative Charles Hughes, Democrat New Jersey) prohibiting civilian possession of full-automatic firearms manufactured after 19 May, 1986. To sell and or purchase firearms covered by the GCA, individuals apply for and obtain a special license from and register the firearm with the federal government paying required fees.10 Title I FFL’s pay a Special Occupation Tax to sell full-automatic firearms. This elevates them to title III hence the common but inaccurate term “class III license.” GCA applicants must meet all legal requirements for ownership, submit to a 6 to 12 month BATF criminal background investigation, provide finger print cards and passport sized photos, pay a $200 stamp tax, and register the firearm with the BATF. Because no full-automatic guns produced after May of 1986 may be sold to civilians, their pool is extremely limited translating into stratospheric prices.11 The idea, as my son says, that “some edgy teenager” can afford one is preposterous. Although not an edgy teenager, add me to the preposterous list.

Yes, the sear portion of an AR, and other semiautomatic rifles, can be cut and modified to allow for full automatic fire. But, there will be no selective fire option. It can now be fired only fully automatic. Anyone caught with such a modified weapon faces 10 years+ in a federal prison, loss of the right to ever be in possession, let alone own, firearms, loss of the right to vote, and hundreds of thousands in fines. May I make a recommendation to anyone considering this modification? Don’t. You will get caught. It’s possible to modify or buy an already modified sear. It’s a small piece of metal and, as long as it’s not installed in a rifle, no problem, right? Wrong. Mere possession of a sear, modified to allow fully automatic fire, is considered the same as possessing a fully automatic rifle with all the same penalties. You will get caught. Once again, don’t do it. If you must fire one, patronize a gun range that rents these rifles. They’re fun but you’ll probably leave realizing how impractical they are for self-defense. Sustained controlled accurate fire? Yeah, sure.

Not every gun owner in America supports let alone belongs to a pro-2nd Amendment organization or gun club, not even close. Nevertheless, when the Left attacks and besmirches these organizations, they serve for liberals as surrogates for all gun-owners and that means you. The Left works off an old and well established ideology and doctrine; the will of the individual must be bent to and subordinated to will of the state. Private ownership of firearms has no place in such a world view and neither do inalienable rights. It’s our job to educate family, friends, and neighbors about the truth because it will not happen in tax payer financed public schools and universities.

A simple flowchart

Everyone has flowcharts, companies have them, to perform CPR there is a flowchart, to fix a car there is a flowchart, to diagnose illness or even make financial decisions, there’s a flowchart.

So I decided I needed to make us a little flowchart. It’s another one of those things where I see two things that fit together, well, in my mind.

First off we have this story about a 25 year old woman. She was alone at a bus stop minding her own business in essentially gun free, so crime free Chicago. Or, as some call is Chi-raq.

Residents are praising the 25 year-old woman, with a concealed carry license, who shot and killed a man who was trying to rob her at a bus stop.

Surveillance video shows the woman waiting alone at a bus stop at 103rd and Wallace around 5:45 a.m. Tuesday. Police say a 19-year-old man, in a light colored hoodie, pulled a gun on the woman in an attempt to rob her.

She pulled out her own gun and shot him in the neck.

How’s about that! So that made it all the more interesting when I saw this cartoon on facebook the other day. My buddy Chris puts up great stuff. Then I’ve been watching Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries. It’s set in 1920s Australia, before it was a gun free paradise. Back when women could defend themselves. This was the first one I watched called I believe “Cocaine Blues”. Costumes are beautiful, very elegant, the cars are amazing and the music is swell. The stories are great, when watching the first one it hit me! A flowchart. A simple flowchart to determine if you value women’s lives. To be fair, it can be anyone’s life, but all these stories involve women. Apples to apples don’t you know?

So without further ado, my first flowchart.

DO YOU BELIEVE WOMEN’S LIVES HAVE  VALUE?

Claire McCaskill vs Veritas, Truth

With Demoncrats doing everything to gain control of the nation so they can institute their program of higher taxes, impeaching a lawfully elected President and enacting gun control they have a variety of strategies they are flinging at the goal.

Since San Fran Nan has decided it’s more important to enact gun and citizen control than to win elections, I thought we might take a look at some of these brand new demoncratic socialist candidates. Although really, I guess if you’re a Demoncratic Socialist, after you’ve enacted gun and citizen control, you don’t really need to worry about winning elections, yeh? They’re just being more open about it now.

One is the socialist who thinks Bernie Sanders is the Great Pumpkin, Ocasio-Cortez.

Ocasio-Cortez’s Great Bernie Pumpkin

Another is a candidate in Texas who wants to lead the nation in gun control, has a perfectly WASP sounding name so apparently wants to be called Beta, oh, sorry! Not Beta? Oh, right Beto. So Beto is desirous of stripping Americans on one of their Constitutionally enumerated rights. Not granted. I’ve also heard he eats his tacos with a fork, so does Beto use the same fork to eat his tacos he uses to shred our Constitution?

Sometimes I wondered if the National Demoncratic Socialist Party realizes these elections are to be held in America, but in this day an age? Ocasio-Cortez beat a sitting legislator, so yeah, I guess they do.

Then there is Missouri. Missouri has Air-Claire McCaskill.

I’ll be right up front here, this really isn’t a “Gee Josh Hawley is a great guy, how could you pass him up” column. For one, I don’t like Josh Hawley, I think he is a smarmy, greasy, snake oil selling jerk. Missouri elected a Governor, we’ll call him Eric Greitens, shall we? Gov Eric did something quite foolish in his personal life before he ever ran for Governor. And like politicians all over, of every party, he got caught. Now, he didn’t drown her so he didn’t actually follow a recognized approved DSNC playbook and perhaps that is why the Demoncratic Socialists became convinced the world would end, end I say, if our Gov Greitens wasn’t removed from office. Well, it could have been the lack of playbook or it could have been that he signed a bill to allow Missouri to become a right to work state. The Demoncratic Socialists didn’t like that either. But the AG at the time was Josh Hawley. I don’t know if Hawley was just trying to prove how cool and unbiased he is but he felt compelled to wade into the poop patch created by Demoncrats and their propaganda arm, the mainstream media. Now the thing is, there are some actually very curious things about the persecution of Gov Greitens by good little Demoncratic Socialist Kim Gardner that SCREAM for someone such as a real attorney general to poke a nose in. Lt Col Dave Grossman did a couple of articles for The Federalist asking questions the media or the AG didn’t seem to be asking. The first one asked questions like,

1. Where is the police report?

2. Where is the evidence?

3. Why did the FBI, the U.S. Attorney, and the police refuse to look into this case?

4. What’s the deal with the private investigators?

5. Why did the prosecution want so badly to delay the trial until the fall?

That number 4? Now that is some interesting reading.

The Second article, had such data that one would really think someone would be asking about her expenditure of taxpayer funds,

1. It appears that Gardner began preparing the paperwork for the indictment prior to conducting any investigation.

2. Gardner allegedly broke the law in the course of her prosecution.

3. Gardner’s assistant prosecutor allegedly misled the grand jury about the indictment.

4. Gardner’s investigators were under FBI investigation.

5. Even the chief of police of St. Louis is demanding answers.

But, guess not. So no, I’m really not so much a Hawley fan. When you consider that this grave threat to freedom, Mom, the flag and apple pie just pretty much faded away after Gov Eric resigned…seems odd. Still don’t have Right to Work.

So, when I say this is about the Demoncratic Socialist known as Air Claire McCaskill, please don’t think this is about saying Hawley is great, it’s not. It’s that Air Claire is so much worse, and dirtier than Josh Hawley. Let’s take a few trips down memory lane, shall we? Because Air Claire has a lot of history that can be examined, along with her baggage, carry-on and otherwise.

But I’m saving the cherry of memory lane for last.

Air-Claire likes to create problems so she can use the force of government to solve them, like all big government Demoncratic Socialists do. For example in February of this year, Air Claire got all hot and bothered to battle “Identity theft” and the use of stolen social security numbers! Especially the use of stolen children’s social security numbers! Good job Air-Claire, right?? I mean who wouldn’t want Air-Claire in her crusader cape flying the friendly skies on behalf of law abiding citizens?

How about law-abiding citizens who are pissed because Air-Claire helped create the problem she is now crusading against? Oh, YES, she did.

Air-Claire helped create the problem, now she expects private businesses to spend their money to fix it, after she blithely spent OUR money to create it. How so?

It would be appropriate to have [Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals – DACA] applicants disclose any misuse of Social Security numbers or other personal identifiers so that the system can be purged and corrected, and so that the true number holders can be informed. It would also be appropriate to impose an additional fine on the many DACA recipients who worked illegally before obtaining DACA status and improperly used false identity information. The fines could be used to establish a restitution fund for the victims.

… 43.9 percent of all surveyed DACA recipients had worked prior to gaining DACA status, and that percentage increases to 60.7 percent for DACA recipients over 25 years of age. However, these individuals were unable to legally obtain Social Security numbers for their pre-DACA employment, which means that they used fraudulently obtained Social Security numbers that all-too-often belong to American citizens, including American children.

The use of unlawfully obtained Social Security numbers by individuals eligible for DACA status is so pervasive that the Obama administration instructed applicants not to disclose their illegally obtained numbers. That ensured that Americans who are the victims of DACA identity theft were left with destroyed credit, arrest records attached to their names, unpaid tax liabilities, and corrupted medical records while the DACA recipients walked away scot-free from multiple felonies.

Does Air-Claire have anything to do with that mess? Does a Demoncratic Socialist love vote fraud?

She supports chain migration, sanctuary cities, funding for executive amnesty, and funding for processing centers for Central American unaccompanied minors. She voted for the DREAM Act, against a bill to prevent suing Arizona for immigration law, and against defunding sanctuary cities.

Something to remember with another 5,000 Hondurans headed this way with at least 100 members of ISIS chumming along for the ride and free drinks.

So is using taxpayer dollars to create a problem, then expecting private businesses or taxpayers to spend their money to fix her cockwomble (I love Katie Hopkins don’t you?) normal? Yeah, pretty much.

Aiming to Crack Down on Exorbitant Air Ambulance Costs for Missourians, McCaskill Introduces Legislation

AAMS Responds to Sen. McCaskill’s Air Ambulance Consumer Protection Act

The Association of Air Medical Services (AAMS) is greatly concerned about the unintended negative consequences that can result from the recent Air Ambulance Consumer Protection Act, reported to be introduced today by Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO). While it is the position of AAMS that all our members advocate on behalf of their patients and work toward solutions that keep patients out of the middle in negotiations with insurers, this legislation doesn’t do that – it only provides insurers with smaller portions of patient’s bills to cover while erecting “borders in the sky” making it difficult or impossible to transport patients across state lines. We can do better – we can require transparency, fix Medicare, and solve for greater healthcare access.

Transporting patients across state lines was something aero-medical helicopters routinely did when I flew. It’s like Air-Claire just hasn’t yet ruined enough healthcare systems to suit herself.

And it’s kind of ironic that Air-Claire thinks she should chime in on air anything really.

The appellation “Air-Claire”, where does that come from? Claire McCaskill and her husband Joseph Shepherd are very wealthy, in fact, she’s one of the wealthiest members of congress. Businesses linked to McCaskill’s husband get $131 million in federal dollars

McCaskill is one of the wealthiest members of Congress, a fact that Republicans are quick to remind voters as McCaskill battles for a third Senate term representing a state President Donald Trump won by nearly 19 percentage points in 2016. GOP-funded ads trying to paint her as out of touch with ordinary Missourians have attacked McCaskill for buying a $2.7 million D.C. condo and for using her husband’s private plane on the campaign trail.

So a few years ago, air-Claire got busted using the family’s private jet to travel around and campaign. And billing the taxpayers for it.

It gets worse for Air Claire. The public realized (even the press) that using taxpayer dollars to pay yourself is wrong. The pressure was unbearable and McCaskill whipped out her personal checkbook and re-paid the federal treasury with an $88,000 check. It’s shameful when you game the system to the point of being politically forced to pay back a taxpayer subsidy.

Oh but wait, there’s more as they say on TV. Air Claire, the high tax and spend obama Demoncratic Socialist wouldn’t do anything shady with taxes would she?

McCaskill had been keeping the plane in Delaware and Illinois, two states that do not impose personal property taxes. Well, Missouri does. So, was McCaskill, a committed liberal millionaire who advocates soaking the rich, actually dodging taxes?

Yes, Air Claire was trying to pay fewer taxes. Caught again and pressured by the public, McCaskill pulled out her checkbook and wrote a check for over $300,000 for back taxes on the plane.

Not only was McCaskill paying her own company taxpayer dollars to fund her travels, she avoided paying taxes to the state she supposedly serves.

There’s a few more things in the article linked above. Here’s another one from 2011, Breaking: Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., Failed to Pay $287,000 in Property Taxes on Aircraft

But like any elitist, she think the basket of deplorables is just behaving badly, lots of normal people have 3 million dollar private planes!

Wait, what? Air Claire had her husband sell “the damn plane”. They waited a little while and bought another one.

Now what is funny, is Air Claire has been doing the Hillary Clintoon Scooby van deal. Hers is called BigBlue. Wow, really Air Claire? Big Blue, well ok.

So Air Claire is being all folksy with her RV tour

The RV, named BigBlue by the campaign, was unveiled late last month by McCaskill, who said she was “very excited to hit the road” in it for an upcoming “Veterans for Claire” tour. The campaign kept a live blog of its three-day RV trip from May 29 to May 31, posting updates of its whereabouts.

All indications from the McCaskill campaign were that she was traveling on the RV. The campaign bragged after the three-day tour concluded that it had traveled 700 miles on the RV. The campaign asked in fundraising emails for money to fuel the RV, complaining, “gas is expensive.”

“It costs us $200 just to fill up the RV and with the number of places we plan on going—that adds up fast,” the campaign wrote, without mentioning aircraft fuel costs. “Will you pitch in just $5 today to help fund our RV tour and power us to a victory in November?”

Now for the fun part?? Air Claire has been FLYING a bunch of that in her private plane, and just not telling anyone or at least so far as we know, charging the taxpayers for the use of the plane. The same article listed above tells how the plane has been tracked and it’s path lining up with her RV. Yeah. Worth reading that. But Air Claire knew they would probably track the plane, so she had

Claire McCaskill Took Action to Hide Travel on Private Plane From Public

Email records show FAA was asked to hide tracking data of Democratic senator’s plane in April

Sen. Claire McCaskill (D., Mo.) took action earlier this year to make her family’s private plane untrackable by the public, according to documents obtained from the Federal Aviation Administration.

Didn’t work.

Which has led to some kind of fun things like the NRSC trolling Air Claire at campaign stops by having airport ground crew there for BigBlue like photo bombing gnomes, it’s kind of cute really.

But the Washington Free Beacon did the best coverage of it.

There is even a Air Claire computer game you can play for free, http://www.flyairclaire.com/

But now, now James O’Keefe with Project Veritas comes bringing us the real Air Claire, and she is every bit as dirty as you should be understanding from everything you’ve just read. Claire is a liar, flat out. Here is the Project Veritas video, and it is well, well worth watching. People just can’t know that.

Then KOLR10 allowed Air Claire to express her outrage at Josh Hawley. Huh? He had nothing to do with it. Air Claire had a synapse or two go missing. So rather than watch Claire’s idiotic response, let’s watch the brilliant and talented Mr. O’Keefe dismantle it.

Now at 1:17 in, James seems shocked that Air Claire would just say something on TV, that is just a flat out lie. Just say it, just throw it out there with no truth behind it. Darling James, WHY?? It’s not like it’s the first time Air Claire has done this. From 20th June 2012,

And, we’ll let Glen Beck take it away

But now, now, the cherry. Just step into my wayback machine. And I do mean way back. Back to when Air Claire was the Prosecutor for Jackson County Missouri, on 9th December 1992.

From page 81 of the most excellent book, Missouri Weapons and Self-Defense Law: Commom Law Experience and Missouri Practice

McCaskill has been lying about gun laws even in 1992 as a prosecutor

Yes, Air Claire is the prosecutor. I’m almost sure back in 1992 James O’Keefe and Josh Hawley had nothing to do with her lying to the press about the law that she certainly should have known better as a prosecutor. But if you really fear that they might have secretly been taping what she openly lied about I can ask the author.

You see, that is the thing, Air Claire openly lies, in any way shape or form she feels the need to get what she wants. She will deceive and hurt whoever necessary, because Air Claire is evil. You may or not give two hoots about the Second Amendment, but I promise you, there is most likely an issue that you care very deeply about. And you think you know Air Claire’s position on it. But she has lied to and betrayed Second Amendment people for years, you think she won’t betray you? You are being foolish.

Air Claire is only one of the Demoncratic Socialists up for election this time. Nancy Pelosi has said if they win, gun control takes priority over winning elections. And, as I suspect will be the case it will be because the fight will have changed from the soft fight to the hard fight. Because there are something that they just can not do to us while we can fight back. Whether or not you believe in the electoral system or think it’s all bunkem, I think it it worth it to suit up and show up and participate in the legal option, at least as long as we have it. Besides, you can always join Bear in his new game.

Idiots Trip Over themselves to Alienate Critical Voting Demographic

I posted this at the Liberty Zone yesterday, but I felt a slightly different version of it needed to be posted here as well, just so you can further understand your adversary. I say “adversary,” because 4/5 of the idiots on the stage during the Democratic debate the other night actually named their fellow Americans as their “enemies,” and I want to be a bit more classy than that.

I’m not even kidding. Enemies.

…CNN’s Anderson Cooper noted that each of the candidates had made a number of enemies during their careers in politics and asked them which enemy they were most proud of.

Most of the Democrats at the debate gave predictably boring answers to Cooper’s question. Lincoln Chafee said he was proud that the coal industry disliked him. Former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley said the National Rifle Association. Bernie Sanders said Wall Street. What about Hillary?

“Probably the Republicans,” Hillary responded, in the apparent belief that nearly half the country is her enemy.

So now you know and understand what Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Lincoln Chafee, and Martin O’Malley think of you – whether you’re a Republican, a gun owner, someone who works in finance, or someone who toils in the coal mines, working to bring much needed energy to America. They don’t just disagree with you. They HATE you. They want to rule and control you, and they consider you their enemy.

Congratulations.

Actually, maybe they are the enemy. I report, you decide.

Nonetheless… I had to laugh at the concentrated effort all of the Democrat lunatics on that stage made to distance themselves from the NRA. This is where the NRA is actually useful. They are the boogie man. They are the 800 lb. gorilla feared by the gun grabbers. So they can go on compromising, while groups like the Zelman Partisans, GOA, and others do the actual work. I’m good with that.

However, like it or not, we have the Second Amendment. Like it or not, it protects an existing right. Like it or not, the majority of this nation respects the right to keep and bear arms and does not support additional federal gun control regulations. Like it or not, these are facts, and no amount of mewling from the gun control camp will change it.

That said, it’s interesting to me that last night’s Democratic debate socialist dumpster fire (thanks to my buddy Jason Pye for that quirky, but oh-so accurate, turn of phrase) featured four candidates who were tripping over themselves to portray themselves as the candidate most hated by the NRA!

I didn’t watch the debates, thank goodness. I was really too tired to be that angry on a work night. I did, however, pull up a transcript just to see how these four monkeys would try to out-Marxist one another. From what I read, the debate went pretty much how I expected it to go, but I did find it instructive that given the failing issue gun control has been over the years, these four would be so quick to alienate a broad swath of the American population. I guess they all think that they can count on frothing Bernie Sanders acolytes to supplement the loss in gun owner support?

Filthy hippies and star-struck children.
Filthy hippies and star-struck children.

The first question posed by Anderson Cooper was predictably about gun control.

COOPER: Senator Sanders, you voted against the Brady bill that mandated background checks and a waiting period. You also supported allowing riders to bring guns in checked bags on Amtrak trains. For a decade, you said that holding gun manufacturers legally responsible for mass shootings is a bad idea. Now, you say you’re reconsidering that. Which is it: shield the gun companies from lawsuits or not?

SANDERS: Let’s begin, Anderson, by understanding that Bernie Sanders has a D-minus voting rating (ph) from the NRA. Let’s also understand that back in 1988 when I first ran for the United States Congress, way back then, I told the gun owners of the state of Vermont and I told the people of the state of Vermont, a state which has virtually no gun control, that I supported a ban on assault weapons. And over the years, I have strongly avoided instant background checks, doing away with this terrible gun show loophole. And I think we’ve got to move aggressively at the federal level in dealing with the straw man purchasers.

Translation: No no no! I’m bad on freedom! Just like I’m bad on economic freedom, I’m bad on all the other types of freedom too!

By the way, what’s with the Bob Dole third-person weirdness?

COOPER: Secretary Clinton, is Bernie Sanders tough enough on guns?

CLINTON: No, not at all. I think that we have to look at the fact that we lose 90 people a day from gun violence. This has gone on too long and it’s time the entire country stood up against the NRA. The majority of our country supports background checks, and even the majority of gun owners do.

Translation: I’m Hillary Clinton, and I lie like a cheap rug. If I had bothered to look at statistics provided by the ever-so-biased in my favor Gun Violence Archive, I would have seen that I have nearly tripled my estimate of people lost per day to gun violence. I would have seen that 9,956 people died in firearm incidents through October 1, 2015, and that this number averages to 36, and not 90 people per day, as I claim. If I had done my research, I would also have seen that the majority of people (63 percent or 23 out of those 36 people, according to the CDC) who die in firearms incidents take their own lives, and there’s nothing the government can do about it. If I had done my research, I would have known this, because gun-free Japan has a much higher suicide rate than the United States.

(By the way, I note with no small amount of irony that while California toils to clamp down even more on the right to keep and bear arms, it has legalized suicide.)

Actually I probably did do my research, but it’s so much more effective to inflate firearm death figures, so that I can out-Sanders Sanders with his D- from the NRA!

COOPER: Governor O’Malley, you passed gun legislation as governor of Maryland, but you had a Democratic-controlled legislature. President Obama couldn’t convince Congress to pass gun legislation after the massacres in Aurora, in Newtown, and Charleston. How can you?

O’MALLEY: And, Anderson, I also had to overcome a lot of opposition in the leadership of my own party to get this done. Look, it’s fine to talk about all of these things — and I’m glad we’re talking about these things — but I’ve actually done them.

We passed comprehensive gun safety legislation, not by looking at the pollings or looking at what the polls said. We actually did it. And, Anderson, here tonight in our audience are two people that make this issue very, very real. Sandy and Lonnie Phillips are here from Colorado. And their daughter, Jessie, was one of those who lost their lives in that awful mass shooting in Aurora.

Now, to try to transform their grief, they went to court, where sometimes progress does happen when you file in court, but in this case, you want to talk about a — a rigged game, Senator? The game was rigged. A man had sold 4,000 rounds of military ammunition to this — this person that killed their daughter, riddled her body with five bullets, and he didn’t even ask where it was going.

And not only did their case get thrown out of court, they were slapped with $200,000 in court fees because of the way that the NRA gets its way in our Congress and we take a backseat. It’s time to stand up and pass comprehensive gun safety legislation as a nation.

Translation: I need to sound a bit more radical, so I won’t remind people that even though violent crime has been on the decline in the United States since 1993, Maryland, which has some of the most stringent gun controls in the nation, still comes in as one of the most violent states in the country. Because NRA! And I’m definitely not reminding the audience that Sandy and Lonnie Phillips have been manipulated by my buddies at the Brady Center to file a frivolous lawsuit, which they knew to be frivolous, but I will screech their sainthood from the top of my lungs, because violent crime in Maryland… Um… NRA BAD!

At this point, I have to chuckle, because the conversation between Sanders and O’Malley devolved into a contest about who has the smaller genitalia (translation: who has a lower rating from the NRA).

O’MALLEY: And we did it by leading with principle, not by pandering to the NRA and backing down to the NRA.

SANDERS: Well, as somebody who has a D-minus voting record…

O’MALLEY: And I have an F from the NRA, Senator.

It’s really quite amusing to see two twits arguing about who is more anti-freedom! Say what you will about the NRA – I know I have numerous times – but two guys arguing about who can more effectively alienate a huge chunk of the U.S. population is something akin to two monkeys having a contest to see who can fling a bigger turd. Frankly, in the poo department, I think O’Malley has it.

Of course, Lincoln Chafee (Who? The nitwit from Rhode Island, that’s who!), refusing to be outdone by his statist pals, is touting his F rating from the NRA as a badge of honor.

CHAFEE: Yes, I have a good record of voting for gun commonsense safety legislation, but the reality is, despite these tragedies that happen time and time again, when legislators step up to pass commonsense gun safety legislation, the gun lobby moves in and tells the people they’re coming to take away your guns.

Translation: Must. Use. As. Many. Gun. Grabber. Words. As. Possible. Commonsense gun safety legislation. Commonsense gun safety legislation. Commonsense gun safety legislation. Commonsense gun safety legislation. Commonsense gun safety legislation. Commonsense gun safety legislation. Commonsense gun safety legislation. Commonsense gun safety legislation. Commonsense gun safety legislation. GUN LOBBY BAD!

Who the hell is this douche?
Who the hell is this tool?

The only candidate who didn’t trip over his own winky to screech for more gun control was Jim Webb, whom the NRA seems to like an awful lot. I haven’t seen any Gun Owners of America ratings for Webb, but he at the very least doesn’t seem to be backing away from America’s gun owners, and that makes him smarter than the rest of the barrel of monkeys who infested that stage, competing for who can pick the biggest louse off his/her opponent.
