Well, that was ugly. This is just a few short random thought.
I actually did not anticipate elections going that badly. I never would have dreamed normal Americans would vote for candidates with actual ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, Somali fraudsters who have been under investigation going back to obama. straight up communists and Christian preachers who don’t believe in the resurrection of Jesus, a woke Christian preacher who believes whites are racist. People that straight up hate out country and are very open about it, but, here we are.
I saw a meme awhile back that said Americans didn’t elect Ilhan Omar (whatever), the massive amount of Somalis that obama plunked down in a concentrated area did.
While we’re at it, take a look at the number of mosques in America & Europe and perhaps extrapolate. As others have pointed out, muslims vote for muslims. They’re tribal. They don’t vote for who will do the best job or what’s best for the country or even the community they live in. They vote for muslims to gain more power.

How did Texas turn blue? At least in part? Pretty sure they aren’t voting for the party with strong Judeo-Christian ethics, that frowns on murder, polygamy and marrying your 9 year old cousin.

I’m more than happy to give John Thune all the credit the miserable wretch deserves. Eighty percent of Americans wanted the SAVE act. Not eighty percent of Republicans, eighty percent of Americans. But no, he just whined he couldn’t get the votes. Dude, that was your job. Hopefully you will wear the shame of your failure to your grave. Not that I’m angry or anything.
And while some Americans seem to have taken leave of their senses, as in, gas is too high so we’re going to vote for the party who had higher gas prices a couple of years ago, wants to restrict drilling, shut down fossil fuels and allow citizens to freeze to death like they do in Europe, carbon credits and mandatory green energy. That should make it better. Unemployment is horrible! It’s so high! So lets tax the heck out of businesses and entrepreneurs by calling them the wealthy one percent that doesn’t pay their share! When we tax those businesses into oblivion and no new businesses can afford to be started that should help! I don’t think the majority of America is on board with a new senator with ties to the Muslim brotherhood. And I don’t think they are going to enjoy how candidates slightly to the left of Fidel Castro rule, because communists don’t govern, they rule.
There are questions that have arisen,
I should mention this was in a Republican/conservative voting area.
And it certainly doesn’t guarantee that every voter who left the polling location will be able to return before polls close.
County officials urged anyone unable to vote because of the shortage to return to the Linwood Community Building or contact the county clerk’s office for assistance before the 7 p.m. deadline.
Here Are the Counties and States That Have Reported Midterm Voting Issues, So Far
The problems run the gambit.
But JD Vance knows what happened! Its our relationship with Israel, and the war in Iran. Because a nuclear armed Iran isn’t that big a deal.
I will point out that President Trump said when he announced aid to Israel would cease because they don’t need it. He said they are a great ally and if they need us, we will be there.
That is vastly different that what JD (Just a dunce) said. That it is our relationship with Israel. Those are two different things. And what JD doesn’t seem to understand is there are Israeli politicians that are thrilled!
Feiglin on end of US aid: ‘It’s not a threat, it’s a liberation’ This is the same thing he told me back in 2015 when I interviewed him in Tel Aviv.
“I very much hope that the American president will indeed keep his promise and permanently halt the transfer of funds to Israel,” Feiglin stated.
Feiglin argued that the financial assistance, which amounts to billions of dollars annually, represents a relatively insignificant portion of Israel’s economy. He also claimed that the United States receives benefits from Israel that far exceed the value of the aid it provides.
“In economic terms, this is a negligible sum relative to Israel’s gross national product,” he said, adding that Washington benefits from Israeli intelligence, technological developments, and Israel’s role in confronting regional threats.
However, Feiglin stressed that the central issue is not financial but political.
“The main issue is not the money. The main issue is the price,” he declared. “For the illusion of American aid, we pay every single day with the most precious currency a free people possesses: our sovereignty.”
According to Feiglin, the longstanding American assistance arrangement has undermined Israel’s ability to make independent decisions on matters of national security and foreign policy.
I’m pretty sure we may miss the intel Israel provides, and the improvements they make to the weapons they buy from U.S. factories and then share back with us, but hey? What can I say?

Perhaps this war could have been over if President Trump hadn’t said he didn’t want regime change because it’s “messy”.
Perhaps this war could have been over if JD hadn’t leaked to Tom Barak who told Erdogen about the plan to arm the Kurds.
Perhaps this war could have been over if President Trump hadn’t allowed the gullible JD to try to negotiate with people that learn taqiyya before they can crawl. They played him for the fool he is and ran down the clock.
Perhaps this war could have been over if President Trump hadn’t very publicly and foolishly called back the Israeli fighter jets on their way to Iran after citizens in Be’er Sheva were killed by Iranian rockets.
Like the war in Gaza, this one could have been over long ago if it had been fought to be won.
I look at the mess in Europe, and I notice something, the countries that have behaved the worst towards Israel seem to be getting the bigger price tag for importing all their refugees, despite what their native population wants. Israel warned England about an attempted terrorist plot in the offing. Probably Fairford. England then declared sanctions on Judea & Shomron in Israel. I’m guessing about 80% or more of Bible history takes place in Judea & Shomron (Samaria). Not that England would know that, or not that some British politicians even know what the Bible is. France and Spain both have been horrible toward Israel. Luckily since France recognized Falestine, that problem of the two state solution has been solved. I’m guessing they’ll divide Paris for the capital of Falestine?
But I think HaShem, G-d makes this clear when speaking to Avraham
And I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse, and all the families of the earth shall be blessed in you.”
I believe it applies to countries as well.
And now we get into why the mixed emotions. I think I’ve made my thought on the elections clear, and I’m not happy. But I believe HaShem controls the world. Tighten the seat belts. This is going off in a radically different direction and it’s definitely spiritual/religious, filled with miracles and just awe inspiring people.
I recently heard a speaker, Rabbi Yitzchak Wagner. He is one of the first Rabbis born in Germany after the Holocaust, and is the first one born in his town of Krefeld since the Holocaust. He and his family live in Krefeld, Germany, it’s near Dusseldorf. His topic was dealing with antisemitism. I took notes, because of course I did. So I’m just going to share a few of the stories he shared with us. With the anniversary of Kristallnacht coming up, I think they are timely, among a few other reasons it seems right to share them. I was taking notes as fast as I could so I don’t say there are smooth segues between stories.
The Shul in Krefeld was one of the first to be torched on Kristallnacht. It was St. Martin’s day, from a handy little synopsis not of my writing, this is St. Martin’s day and understanding how the celebrate it matters.
St. Martin’s Day (Martinstag), celebrated on November 11, is a traditional German festival that serves a similar social function for children as Halloween in the US, offering a culturally rooted alternative to trick-or-treating. While Halloween is often viewed as a commercial or imported event, St. Martin’s Day is a deeply established tradition emphasizing charity, light, and sharing, particularly popular in Catholic regions like the Rhineland and Southern Germany.
During the evening processions known as Laternenumzug, children carry handmade paper lanterns and sing traditional songs, often going door-to-door in a practice called Martinssingen to receive sweets and treats from neighbors. The festivities typically culminate in a large bonfire (Martinsfeuer) and a communal feast featuring roasted goose (Martinsgans) with red cabbage and dumplings, marking the end of the harvest season and the unofficial start of the Christmas shopping period.
The nazis weren’t wearing their uniforms that night. They were just dressed in civilian clothes going to burn down a Synagogue. The nazis wanted people to think this was a grassroots effort. They broke in and began to set the fires, they hunted and found the wine and took it out and began to get drunk. The fire in the Synagogue grew so large that there were fears it would spread to the homes of the good Germans. But the firefighters had joined the police and nazis in the drinking so not sure how effective they were.

There are two stories that go with this part. One is a priest a street behind saw what was happening. He ran around back without being seen and got into the Synagogue from behind, he knew where the Torah scrolls were kept and managed to save one! He just knew it was holy and mustn’t burn. This was incredibly dangerous for the priest! Had he been caught with that he would have paid with his life. It was kept hidden for many years until the Jews returned to Kresfeld, then it was returned to them. Sadly after being hidden all those years it had sustained water damage, and was no longer Kosher, but it was kept and treasured in the museum. The Rabbi and community chose not to bury it. The second story involves a non-Jewish lawyer walking home with his young son who saw what the nazis were doing and bent down and whispered in his young son’s ear, “open his eyes because this is history. Never forget what you see tonight. They burned down the Jewish community.” When the war was over, there were no Jews left in Krefeld. None. But when the Jews began to come back, that young son was now a grown man, and a successful one. He helped the new Jewish community raise 15 million Euros to re-do the Shul into a community center. He had two conditions. One, the walls must have metal in the center of them, walls of metal so the Synagogue could never be burned down to the ground again and two, there could be no empty space under it so no one could plant a bomb under it.

Another amazing thing, the company from 1901 that made the original windows is still in business and they were able to get them to make new windows!

This building was Bayer chemicals. They were nasty people. They had a building there and wanted to expand. The problem was the Jews had a cemetery. They sent the community a letter saying we’d like to buy the property. Which means we’re going to give you a paltry sum and you’re going to consider yourself lucky to have it. This later became a building for the gestapo. What you see in this picture is a Torah scroll dedication with many Jews dancing with the Torah in front of the building. The nazis tried to eradicate every Jew, and yet here we are, celebrating the dedication of a new Torah scroll dancing in front of the dead nazis building. And I probably should also mention, Bayer now is supportive of Chabad!

The nazis had already been putting laws into effect against the Jews, they couldn’t sit on a park bench, they couldn’t own a pet, the community had an idea worse was coming. They had an antique circumcision bench, probably from the mid-1700s, and to be safe they asked Christian neighbors to keep it safe for them. Despite no Jews being left in Krefeld after the war, the Christians entrusted with the bench kept it safe. When the Jews began returning? They returned the bench. I believe it’s now in a museum. Kristallnacht was a test by the nazis. Can we burn Jewish Synagogues? Can we burn Jewish books in the town square? Will the world react? Would there be protests in America or Russia? Will Poland send troops? What will the King or the Pope say? Will England or France say anything? And the answer was a resounding nope. So the nazis concluded they could safely burn Jews. In fact when the war finally did begin, it wasn’t about saving Jews, it was about stopping the spread of nazism. The allies never bombed the railroads going to the death camps, they never bombed a train, which the Rabbi said could have made a difference.
Then the Jews began to come back, in 1981 there were about 130 in the community, yet one year they had only 9 for Yom Kippur as the numbers dwindled. The community had a discussion, do they keep the tiny Shul open or do they drive 25 minutes away and merge with a larger community. One man, a mathematician said he would do a statistical chart for them. And he laid out all the reasons to close. Another community member said Jews and statistics don’t mix. Statistics say Jews couldn’t be back in Krefeld having survived the Holocaust, statistics say there can’t be a thriving Jewish state of Israel, and yet, there is. Jews and statistics don’t go together. And then the Berlin wall fell. Suddenly there were over 1000 members! Some Russian Jews went to Israel, but many came to Germany. Now they have a nice new problem, they need a bigger Shul!! And you’ve seen the picture of it!
Germany. Rabbi told the story of an elderly Holocaust survivor that was traveling with the former Prime Minister of Canada Steven Harper on a military plane to Israel. No, I don’t remember the back story on why. I’m sorry! But anyway, the elderly Holocaust survivor didn’t realize the plane wasn’t going straight to Israel. And he certainly didn’t know it was landing in Germany. As the plane starts it’s decent to land in Germany he got so excited, all the green! All the trees! And he was so happy because all the money he had sent to Israel to plant trees had obviously been put to good use! It was more green than he could have imagined. And then they told him, it’s not Israel, it’s Germany. He came un-CORKED!!! He was not sitting his foot on filthy German soil. He had escaped once, he could not, he would not touch his feet in Germany. He wasn’t leaving the plane. That’s it! NO! The flight attendants tried, NO! The Pilot tried, NO! Finally Prime Minister Harper’s security detail tried, NO!! And by this time he was absolutely NOT moving!!! NO GERMAN SOIL will touch his feet, NOT AGAIN! Finally they told the Prime Minister the whole situation. He said, you know what? It’s fine, let him stay one the plane the 3 hours, don’t force him to do this. If there is a problem, let it be on my shoulders, don’t make him do it. And so the elderly Holocaust survivor was left in peace on the plane.
But the Germany of today has made some changes. Today Holocaust denial is a crime, as is a nazi salute, or to say Heil hitler, and swastikas are a crime. Which means Graham Platner can’t go to Germany and get a tattoo to match his totenkopf….
You know what else is a crime? To yell “Free Falestine” or to chant “From the river to the sea”. Rabbi says they are so stupid, you ask them what river? What sea? They haven’t a clue, they’re just brainlessly chanting. But not in Germany. He said in a recent protest they unfurled the banner of hate and destruction known as the falestinian flag and started to crank up with the “Free Fal..” and he said the police were on them with batons. That is not tolerated. He said there are YouTube movies showing it. To become a German citizen you must sign a statement declaring support for the state of Israel. Which means JD Vance should probably stay out of Germany.
Rabbi went to talk to a group of children one day about Jewish customs and they asked him if he was going to tell them about when they tried to kill all the Jews? The Holocaust? Yes, the Holocaust. He asked the teacher, they know about this? The teacher said yes they know! If we don’t teach them, who will teach them and what will they teach them? Something America should have learned long ago and we might not have some of the teachers we have now because they would have learned better when they were students.
There is a famous picture of hitler speaking by the Brandeburg gate, where hitler called for the destruction of the Jewish people. In 2018 German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier asked the Chief Rabbi of Germany, Rabbi Teichtel, what Germany can do on the 80th anniversary of Kristallnacht. Rabbi Teichtel’s answer was to spread light, and in the very spot where hitler stood they had the largest Hanukkiah in all of Europe, almost 33 feet tall! Rabbi Wagner said they used pictures and landmarks to put it in exactly the spot where Hitler stood.
Which brings me back to how we started this little epistle off. My disappoint, and fears from the election results. I’ve heard pundits talk about how well in the past house and senate have swung away from the party in the white house. Ok, fair enough. However, it’s not the old style demoncrats that won the elections last night. It’s communists and jihadis. The old ones like Pelosi, Schumer and the like are about to be put on ice floes and left out in the cold. Nancy probably shivers when she thinks she hears AOC’s high heels in the hallways and Schumer is looking behind potted plants for a scimitar. And everyone worries about what’s under Ilhan Omar’s turban. What got elected are people that hate out country and they believe they were elected to tear it down. No, I don’t think this is a normal “swing”, and to be honest I’m not sure there will be a “swing” back. But there were some powerful messages in what Rabbi Wagner had to say. HaShem rules the world, I may not understand why things happen, they may cause pain and distress, but he created this world, he loves us. There is only him, Ain Od Milvado.
אין עוד מלבדו
Regardless of what the jihadis and communists want, statistics and plans don’t always go together.
Mixed emotions, yes. Mixed thoughts? No.
