The style makes me think that particular passage was penned by Neil (and it seems like he had a stand-alone essay to the same effect), but I don’t believe Aaron would have let that go into their co-authored novel unless he agreed with it.
As a casual student of history, who has read much about the ratification of the Constitution, I also agree.

I suspect that Moore, and most Dims currently in DC — and far too many Repugnicans, as well — would be happy to lose the few remaining Constitutional limits on their power. They don’t particularly care about “legal authority;” just power.
The problem is… if our wanna-be tyrants are no longer restrained by that pesky Constitution, neither are the people.
The people pissed off at senseless bans, and illegal ballot drop boxes, might just decide that turning to constitutionally-enabled courts — who already defecate on individual rights at the slightest provocation — really isn’t necessary.
Voting out scumbags, and voting in new replacement scumbags who promise to use KY while screwing us? Why bother with that discarded constitutional process? Wouldn’t high-velocity lead be cheaper and faster? Not to mention proactively educating would-be replacements.
Court-blessed “constitutional” takings of property? Get rid of the Constitution and former property owners might resort to ex-constitutional re-takings, enforced with ropes and lamp posts.
Lose one, lose them all. Moore himself might want to consider the ramifications of chucking his First Amendment protections to defame folks for a buck. The people might decide, lacking that lost constitutional recourse, to go bowling for lying documentarians.
Get rid of the Constitution, and the people’s pretend recourse… and they might stop pretending they do.
Maybe the tyrants will be counting on the out-numbered police to prop up their post-Constitution regime. How many officers would continue to be willing to do that once they’ve lost “constitutional” sovereign immunity, and the people know it?
Perhaps the Constitution has only been an illusory paper restraint on government. But it has been a potent symbolic restraint on the people, preventing them from eliminating abusive politicians and government agents out of hand. I do not truly comprehend the willingness — nay, the eagerness of the Left to go there, to surrender that protection, given the likely consequences.
We’d be starting from scratch, with new rules written by the survivors.

We’ve had several columns written about Hanukkah, possibly because I love the holiday. People of faith in both America and Israel have had threats to their ability to worship freely in both countries for as long as I’ve been doing columns.
While both Purim and Hanukkah celebrate the survival of the Jews against an enemy, there are differences. Purim, like the holocaust was an attempt to wipe the Jewish people from the face of the earth. The goal of the Syrians-Greeks was to make the Jewish people like everyone else on the face of the earth, meaning idol worshipers.
This year as we approach Hanukkah, I see my country in a place I could never have imagined growing up. I wonder if it was like that was for the Maccabees? Did they see the threat of the Greeks growing? Because initially when the Greeks gained control over Israel they were respectful. But as some of the Jews began to assimilate, the Greeks lost respect and began to treat them more cruelly. One might say, the mask came off.

In 2020, they had unlimited funding because billionaires made cash payments to 501(c)(3) charities that in turn made cash payments to government election offices.
Massive numbers of people have come forward to testify under oath about things they’ve seen, or like some nursing home residents, things that have happened to them. Things people were told to do, things that have been recorded on video. Everyday citizens stepping up because they know what they are seeing is wrong, and evil. And those who should care, judges, secretaries of state, attorney generals at federal and state, multiple state actually, levels just don’t care. I’m very disappointed that SCOTUS wouldn’t hear the case Texas and other states brought against those corrupt states. It seems to me if the whole country is about to suffer under the tyranny of the harris/biden regime we should be heard. Some of these states that foolish choose not to be involved are going to be in for a big shock. Because once the socialist/communist party seizes control their autonomy is over. Has anyone ever seen much autonomy in a communist country? Thought not.
Remember the doofus known as Eric Swalwell who threatened to nuke American citizens who refused to be disarmed and then just claimed he was joking? I’m sure most people realized it’s not normal for elected officials to threaten citizens with nuclear weapons. Well, not communists, no, they wouldn’t see a problem with that. But normal people. So lately it’s become much more clear as to why that would even cross his mind. He was in bed with the communists, no wonder he thinks like them. Yes, literally in bed with them. Swalwell being on the intelligence committee and sleeping around with Chinese communist spies.
How much voter fraud, illegal voting, ballot manufacturing etc has taken place? Who knows for sure, the FBI is out investigating garages and subways sandwich shops. But I would hazard a guess that if this level of corruption and a power grab of this magnitude is allowed to succeed, we’re pretty much all done but the shouting. There will never be a real election again, it worked. If it works once that’s all it needs to work because then the communist government has taken control. Things that are moral and honest have been shoved aside. And evil people have been allowed to break the law, lie, cheat, steal and bully and intimidate with no repercussions. Why wouldn’t they do it again?
The democrat/communist party knows the majority of Americans voted for President Trump, thereby rejecting their radical platform. It took a massive amount of vote fraud to overcome those votes cast by real Americans. And yet, the communist/democratic party is now willing to attempt to force their will on those citizens. Those who voted for biden because he was a “moderate” are going to be very shocked when they discover their trial subscription to living in a communist country compliments of Wuhan Flu controls becomes a permanent feature.
I heard a very interesting interview with Rabbi Yitzchok Dovid Smith from www.SaveOurFreedoms.org Rabbi Smith is also a lawyer, has studied molecular biology, virology and infectious diseases at the University of California at Berkeley. He maintains what is being done to the fearful American citizens is psychological warfare and he has some pretty good reasons for saying that.
And at a time of great challenge, the aspiring tyrants in power in NY and CA have forbidden people to attend worship services. And all over the US older Americans have been deprived of getting to see loved ones in their waning years, families are kept apart by fears of a virus with a greater than 99% recovery rate. NO ONE IS SAYING IT’S NOT REAL. We know, it’s real. And it’s also really being used to control people. So things that are normally a large source of strength and comfort to people, things that have helped hold the fabric of our society together in troubled times are the very things those aspiring to rule over us are denying us. Illegally I might add.
I have as much faith in vote tallies as I do Wuhan flu statistics. Sad, isn’t it?

Nothing is allowed to be more powerful or revered than the government. People of faith live by G-d’s laws, and love and revere G-d, not big government.
Yes, I think I’ve laid out enough information as to why these times are dark, with similarities to the times of the Macabees, and in fact some of the same circumstances. And some of those same circumstance are for the good as well. Namely, G-d is still in control

They reclaimed the Temple, they were able to replace the desecrated and stolen items and finally to find the one small cruse of oil. The oil that was only suppose to last for one day, but instead burned for eight. But that’s not the only miracle with the oil. The miracle is that they used the oil and lit the Menorah. The part that I’m apply starts about 5 minutes in. I promise, from minute 5 to the end is good medicine.

That’s the thing about Hanukkah, the Maccabees and the Jews that were remaining faithful to G-d were outnumbered, out gunned and didn’t even have NewsMax on their side. But they did have something better, they had G-d, who loved them. Yes, I think we could be facing an escalation in this fight we’ve been engaged in now for some time. But G-d is not a man who changes, he is the same and the things he wants from us and for us are the same.
I don’t know how this will turn out. I know we can’t rely on people or institutions to save us, almost every institution and so many politicians that campaigned that they would represent us have failed us. The corruption is in so many places, some not even known yet. No matter what, we can continue to seek G-d, and ask for his blessings on us, our families, homes, country and our way of life. We can try to be prepared and filled with resolve. And we can remember this is the season of miracles. As Rabbi Zev says, “Think good and it will be good”. I believe in miracles.

They have no interest in truth, only in agendas.
And they will tolerate none of their people discussing the rampant attempts at vote fraud taking place. Because you know, a Judge talking about vote fraud, why that’s just crazy!
I don’t know about your area, but in mine you can get NewsMax free with just an antenna. Their election night coverage was far different than fox’s apparently. Fox was slow to call Florida for President Trump, but way too quick to call Arizona for Mr. Biden. Even cnn or msdnc didn’t do that.

Just by the by, I head the postal workers union endorsed Biden. It defies logic that the people of Pennsylvania would vote for a man and his running mate that have promised to eliminate so many of their jobs by banning fracking. Then there will be the cost to the state in terms of lost revenue. If there’s not much income, there’s not much income tax, not to mention people don’t spend. What I find interesting is the GOP gained seats in the house and held the senate. Yet President Trump would lose? Very odd indeed. Now, I’m not good at statistics, but I found a really interesting column by someone who says he is a retired accountant, and he did audits. This column is fascinating, yes there are some naughty words, but the column is still well worth reading. He lists the number and types of “red flags” as being indicators of fraud.
I’ve heard politicians and radio hosts talk about that even if the demoncrats steal this election we’ve held the senate and in January the two senate seats in Georgia that are facing a run-off election will stay Republican.
Are you kidding me??? If, and I say IF the demoncrats pull off this level of corruption in the voting system, no republican will ever win an election again unless it’s some tame puppet like Mitt Romney. It would do Republicans good to remember all those parades taking place this year were waving TRUMP flags and banners, not pictures of elephants or REPUBLICAN…
Now I understand why demoncrats did all those sound bites about President Trump accepting the results of the election and having to drag him out of the White House. It was just to set up the notion in people’s minds. Just like FakeBook and Twatter started yammering on about how it’s normal for elections to take month. They lay out their scenario and the media pushes the facts into the mold.
And this is why Trump isn’t going anywhere. The Deplorables now have to become The Ungovernables. No more negotiations, discussions, turning the other cheek, etc.

The people were so grateful to again be in their homeland, to again have a state of their own. The price for the land was fearful, blood, sweat, tears, lives and sorrow. From the holocaust to today the price continues, from nazis to hezbollocks.
I think that’s what makes me so sad when I hear the left wing try to tear down Israel, the one tiny Jewish nation all the while claiming they are not anti-semitic. I’ve heard left wing Jews say things I would have thought came out of the mouth of Ilhan Omar or Rashida Tliar and I can not even begin to understand that. Such an amazing gift given by G-d, fought for so desperately by those men, women and children who first came home and to see their sacrifice regarded so blithely is painful for me. For the record, I have the same feelings when people speak that way about America. Neither state is perfect, but both were established based on the law of G-d, Judeo-Christian principles. Therefore I feel far superior to the other choices.

Yom HaZikaron, Yom HaShoah, Holocaust remembrance day was April 20th, one day after the 77th anniversary of the Warsaw ghetto uprising on April 19th. I’ve got a few random thoughts this year.
The Warsaw Ghetto uprising actually had 3 different resistance groups that were fighting. Most know of ZOB with Mordechai Anielewicz, The Jewish Fighting Organization. Less well known was the communists and Bund also fought against the nazis, and the other group was right wing, the Zionist youth movement “Beitar” the “Jewish Military Union” (ZZW). Beitar sound familiar? It was established by Zev Jabostinsky. My puppy’s middle name is Zev, that’s appropriate as it means “wolf”. Most of the fighters were younger, and I’m guessing had seen their families hauled off and knew what was coming.

How far are you willing to go with this?
If they told you to load your families onto train cars so that you could be taken to Virus Protection Facilities for your own safety, would you do it?
YES. Yes, you would. That much has become painfully obvious to me. And the whole time, you’d be shaking your finger and yelling at those of us who refused, accusing us of being “a danger to society” and “not caring if people die.”
But they don’t have to load you onto train cars and take you to Virus Protection Facilities or force you to comply, because you do that voluntarily. They control your mind. They control you through fear. They control you by convincing you that the world is a scary dangerous place, but they’re here to protect you, care for you, and keep you safe, just as long as you OBEY.
They know that as long as you’re locked inside your comfortable home with Netflix, Hulu, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and a cell phone while dangling a $1200 check in front of you like a carrot on a stick, you’ll comply. No force is necessary for the majority of the herd.

Our country has been locked down, and I think there are some lessons worth mulling over. Parents are being hauled off in handcuffs in front of their children because they took them to a park. A public park. I’ve covered some of these abuses in other columns. I’m guessing you know by now that while I do believe the virus is absolutely real, I also believe the reaction has been way overblown.

Better safe than sorry? For whom? The 22 million people now out of work? The business owners that have lost or are losing a business because of what Doctors Fauci and Birx have urged? Honestly I have no idea why anyone would ever start a business now knowing it can be yanked away and your life’s work and savings down the drain at the whim of a government. Their employees that now may well face losing their homes and struggle with trying to support their families all the while the government is forcing farmers to dump milk, eggs and vegetables. I’m pretty sure the food banks could use them about now. Food like knowledge, is power. What will people do to feed their hungry children? Government is seizing power, no doubt. Some governors like the governor of South Dakota and Wyoming pretty much left their states open while others like the governor of Michigan took the power given by the federal government and then became a tin pot despot. What happened after that disturbs me even more. When people protested, she threatened them for speaking out by saying she might extend the lock down. Free speech not permitted. Along with freedom to assemble or to worship.
The following videos make several points, but the reason I’m putting them in are those listed above. This is going on all over the world. I have to tell you when I heard those German voices yelling “Ack-TUNG” and hauling people away I got nauseated. Beating people, using tear gas on them, explain to me how this keeps them safe? I mean, that’s what this is suppose to be about right? Saving lives from the Wuhan flu? Another friend of mine wrote this is response to something I had posted on facebook.
“When the State tells you it’s safe to go to Home Depot to buy a sponge but dangerous to go and buy a flower, it’s not about your health.
When the State shuts down millions of private businesses but doesn’t lay off a single government employee, it’s not about your health.
When the State bans dentists because it’s unsafe, but deems abortion visits are safe, it’s not about your health.
When the State prevents you from buying cucumber seeds because it’s dangerous, but allows in-person lottery ticket sales, it’s not about your health.
When the State tells you it’s dangerous to go golf alone, fish alone or be in a motorboat alone, but the Governor can get his stage make up done, and hair done for 5 TV appearances a week, it’s not about your health.
When the state puts you IN a jail cell for walking in a park with your child because it’s too dangerous but lets criminals OUT of jail cells for their health- It’s not about YOUR health!
When the state tells you it’s too dangerous to get treated by a doctor of chiropractic or physical therapy treatments yet deems a liquor store essential- It’s not about your health!
When the State lets you go to the grocery store or hardware store but is demanding mail-in voting, IT’S NOT ABOUT YOUR HEALTH.
WAKE UP PEOPLE — If you think this is all about your health you’re mistaken! Please open your eyes! Stop being lead like blind sheep.

And these protests to open the states back up are going on all over the country. Who decides the value of a life? I take death very seriously. When people get towards the end of life, one of the things one often does is to give an “Advance Directive” meaning they state what they consider to be an acceptable quality of life, and if something medically happens they can not do those things they do not want heroic measures done to save them. Quality of life counts. At what point do we begin to care about the 22 million that have been forced out of work due to flawed models designed by a man who has yet to get one right.
Wuhan Flu we will survive, but this government seizure of power? When has government ever handed back power once it’s been seized? Your rights are suspended. I keep hearing that line from the video. How much further will it go? Who knows. Just like the left are hypocrites about guns denying citizens the right to defend themselves and their families all the while having armed guards they are out of touch with the pain the lock down is causing. Yes, I know it’s a Trump ad, but it still sums it up really well.
And the new paradigm is set. Had a Democrat been president, I shudder because Democrats are communist now. Power and control, never enough. What will happen the next time there is a “crisis” be it in the fall or next year? I heard another great video from a politician named Paul Curtman who has written a couple of books Don’t Tread On Me and Don’t Tread On Me! The Constitution and State Soverneignty. Paul’s video was talking about the role of government. He said people have the misconception the role of government is to keep your safe. It is not, the proper role of government is to keep you free. And while you chew that over, I will give you the Partisans Song, because I honor those that resisted and fought against the tyranny.

In his most recent radio program Phantom Nation, host Sha’i ben-Tekoa talked about how some criticize and look down on the Jews in Germany who didn’t fight back. But he asked the question if you have a young man of 20, who has a wife and maybe a couple of kids what realistically could he have done when they heard that forceful knock on the door at midnight and opened it to find 5 nazis with guns at the ready?
The best answer I can give is to not let things get to that point. To recognize the signs, see people clearly, especially politicians and vote accordingly. We can still vote in this country perhaps. Some of the actions are familiar from the past, but is history going to repeat?
