Yes, I’m a bit late getting this up, what can I say? How about Yom HaAtzmaut Samach? Happy Independence Day? Yes, the 5th of Iyar, this year May 5th marks a 74 year old beautiful Israel. Ok, so today is really the 5th of Iyar, but Yom HaZikaron (Memorial Day) and Yom HaAtzmaut will be moved if they are going to conflict with Shabbat.
I listened to a podcast I really enjoy from Leah Aharoni on Israel Newstalk Radio. She combines the Torah portion for the week and then views news of the week through the lens of what she covered from the Torah.
In this weeks version she covered some amazing facts about Israel,
They have been able to grow fresh dates from 6th century date seeds found at Masada.
Israel is the only country to revive dead language, Hebrew. For more on that you can read about Eliezer Ben-Yehuda
The Israeli post office has a special letters to G-d department. The letters addressed to G-d are placed in cracks in Western Wall. I guess the Israeli post office isn’t tracking their citizens on social media so they have time for meaningful activity.
They were the first country with medical clowning group, and it was the first to go into covid wards to spread cheer and encourage patients and probably staff as well.
In 2007 “Good deeds day” was started by Shari Arison in Israel, and 7,000 participated. Two years ago 4 million participated world wide.
Israel recycles 90% of waste water, it is then used for agriculture.
Leah described some kind of cool sock, it sounded like she was saying “Poolies”maybe “Pulies”? Which are socks made from recycled plastics. But I couldn’t find them to give you a link.
The cows in Israel produce more milk per cow than any other country.
Due to Bamba, a heavenly treat, like a Cheeto only made with peanuts, few children have peanut allergies. Because children begin to eat Bamba from 7-8 mo old. I’m convinced Bamba is a gift from Heaven.
The women in Israel have more children per woman than any other OECD ( Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) country. And the number of children is going up even as more women are entering into the work force and higher education.
If you want to listen to the whole excellent show, it is here
And I think this last one may explain why the globalists were so determined to use Israel as a test lab for the experimental gene therapy injections.
I guess if you’re a globalist you don’t want a group of people trying to show the world a decent moral way to live according to the directions of the creator then you’d want to cut down on the number of them. That is a bridge too far for the globalist control. They think they are G-d.
Israel was re-born 74 years ago, in the same place that G-d led us when we left behind the slavery of Egypt. But the thing about slavery is you have to remain vigilant. Just because you leave one brand of slavery behind doesn’t mean another brand won’t try to sneak in and seize control. I think that is what is happening in Israel and America right now.
The day after Israel declared Independence, she was attacked in her own little home.
“I was sitting in the car with my friend and we were eating cholent,” Dovid said. “The terrorists, carrying huge axes, came on both sides of the car. My friend threw his boiling hot cholent on one of the terrorists and he got burned and stopped in his tracks. Meanwhile, I grabbed the end of his ax and I managed to push him away. He flew three steps back. And then the second terrorist tried to hit my friend again but my friend pushed him back and they fled.”
Assault cholent/hamim? Excuse me sir, do you have a license for that assault cholent/hamim? I seem to remember another column I did where boiling cholent/hamim was used by some Yeshiva students to fight off barbaric muslims as they tried to break into the Yeshiva. It is a very sad state of affairs when your government is more worried about the criminal muslims rights being protected than the innocent cholent/hamim eating victim. To translate that from Israeli into American, the rights of Antifa over the innocent driver trying to get to work.
I think that both America and Israel are under attack from within by their own governments. Someone signed that order in Israel to force those injections. In America we know about the demented troll at the NIH and the demented puppet in the white house. But the leadership of neither country wants it’s people to live in a land whole and healthy based on the G-d’s law. And for those that have sat still on the sidelines, thinking that “It can’t get that bad, we have a Constitution and a Bill of Rights”, I guess we as a people are going to have to decide how much it matters to us. U.S. There is always work involved, but going forward we need to know, we can never let the left near the levers of power. Had the left wing General Moshe Dayan not thrown the miraculous gift of the Temple Mount back in G-d’s face after he gave it to us, Israelis would be celebrating Yom HaAtzmaut on the Temple Mount today. Because this land? It is ours.
I still belong to a group of like minded people that belonged to the Israeli political party Zehut, which means “Identity”. And we’ve been having conversations about the recent wave of terror attacks in Israel. You may not have been aware of them as President Puddin’ head has been trying to start World War III during his walk back weekend. I’m sure circle back Psaki (Ginger Goebbels) has been having nightmares. But yes, there have been several attacks in just the last few weeks. The religion of pieces is getting warmed up for Rama-damn. Like most of the world’s other religions, Islam has the time of year, certainly not a holy day, where they celebrate with fasting (during the day) and going out and trying to kill Jews. In Israel or anywhere else they might be living.
So in the course of the group message conversation I made some statements. Someone in the group said something about the terror attack in Bnei Brak (a religious neighborhood) and the conversation started.
Concealed carry, free ammo and practice time for every Israeli citizen starting tomorrow
Shocking I haven’t been asked to run for office isn’t it?
There is no limit of one firearm to one person even. Rifle shotgun and handgun have different purpose. Ideally a person needs one of each. There is no firearms limit nor is there a magazine capacity limit.
Law abiding citizens should not have to live in fear of wild animals. Two or four legged.
No that’s my platform! I think you’re right there are strict limits and that’s why this keeps happening🤬
The arabs like all criminals couldn’t care less about weapons laws
Too bad they are so strictly limited and the arabs know it.. They’ll just go to areas where they can’t have them like finding gun free zones in America
It will be a great day when the leaders of countries care as much about their own actual citizens as they do illegals, arabs and criminals.
Now if they could get the media to announce every Jew applying for a permit will be granted and the government to ignore the railings of President Puddin’s handlers perhaps it could be sorted. The homicidal maniacs have to understand they will be stopped before the can create orphans and widows since they don’t mind dying.
I’m not including statements from anyone else as I haven’t asked permission.
But since Ukraine is the current distraction from the rise in all cause mortality, the galloping tyranny and injection reactions is being spoon fed with a shovel at the moment I’m not sure the MSM aka #FakeNews has had a chance to mention them. So here ya go.
The attacker hit a cyclist with his car, killing the cyclist, then exited his car at the mall and stabbed three people to death before being shot to death by a bus driver. The dead included three women and a man. Police are searching for a suspected second assailant.
Kann News, a government-run news station, said the attacker was an Israeli citizen and a Bedouin. The Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorist groups praised the attack but did not directly claim responsibility.
Kann reported that there have been repeated calls by Islamist terrorist groups for knifing attacks on Israeli citizens in recent weeks. The Jerusalem Post reported that this was the third stabbing attack in Israel in a week.
The murderous rampage in one of Israel’s major cities March 22 not only left four Israelis dead in just eight minutes, but also delivered a devastating blow to the ruling coalition. It was the worst terrorist attack in Israel in years, made even worse by the perpetrator being an Israeli citizen, a Bedouin from the village of Hura. He was reportedly also a supporter of the Islamic State who had spent time in Israeli prison for security offenses.
Hamas spokesperson Abdel-Latif al-Qanou praised the “executor of the heroic act in Be’er Sheva. Our battle against the occupation continues and we will not stop.”
“The occupation’s crimes shall be met with heroic operations: stabbings, rammings and shootings,” al-Qanou said.
Tensions have risen in Israel and the Palestinian territories ahead of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, slated to begin next month.
On Sunday, a 20-year-old Israeli police officer was wounded in a stabbing attack in the Arab neighborhood of Ras al-Amud in Jerusalem.
A day earlier, an Israeli man was wounded in another stabbing attack in Jerusalem on Saturday by a Palestinian terrorist.
Ah yes, I’m sure we all, Jews and Christians, remember celebrating the holy days during our youth and childhood when we would all go out and try to murder innocent people of a different faith and then our friends and neighbors would hand out candy and sweets if we managed to kill an old woman, a young child, anyone really. /bitter sarcasm.
The first time I ever went to Israel I stayed in Beer Sheva. I loved it. I had a tree with a planter around it that you could sit on out in front of the building. I’d take coffee and my book or journal out there of an evening and write in it, of a morning coffee and prayers. No one ever bothered me. It was a lovely city.
A gunman randomly killed at least five people when he opened fire on a busy street in Israel on Tuesday before he was taken out by cops, reports said.
The suspected terrorist shooting in Bnei Brak, an ultra-orthodox suburb of Tel Aviv, comes after two other attacks by Arab citizens that have sparked fear of ongoing violence ahead of the start of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan on Saturday.
…
The gunman was identified by the Jerusalem Post as Dia Hamarsha from Ya’bad, He was allegedly convicted in 2015 on arms dealing charges related to his affiliation with a terrorist group, the Post said.
With all these Arabs committing attacks that have previous records of crimes does anyone know if the criminal supporting “judge” Ketanji Jackson has been working in Israel? Obviously they were set loose to commit other crimes. Though we are assured Ketanji is a lovely lady by RINO Susan Collins Susan Collins to vote ‘yes’ on Ketanji Brown Jackson for Supreme Court, in first Republican backing Side note unrelated to current story, this is why you never ever send money to the republican party. Just don’t do it. Your welcome.
The two gunmen opened fire at a bus stop in the city, which was located near several restaurants. Both of the gunmen were killed by undercover police officers who happened to be eating nearby, according to The Times of Israel, and six others were wounded in the shooting.
Thankfully they appear not to have been “woke” cops.
The wave of terror continues in Israel. A Palestinian terrorist on Thursday morning boarded a public bus near the Etzion Bloc of Jewish settlements in Judea and stabbed a passenger with a screwdriver.
But the murderous plans of the would-be killer were quickly ended by an armed civilian who neutralized the threat.
Murad Barkat, a resident of the Abu Tur neighborhood of Jerusalem, has been indicted for the stabbing attack of a 35-year-old man about two weeks ago on Derech Hebron Street near the First Station plaza in the city.
The attack in Beer Sheva was stopped by armed citizens. The one in Hadera by off duty under-cover officers, the one in Bnei Brak was stopped by Police, one of whom was a Christian Arab officer who gave his life.
Haredi, religious Jews pay respects to Christian Arab policeman who gave his life to stop Bnei Brak terrorist attack
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. We know during Rama-Damn that the Arabs celebrate their holy day by trying to kill innocent people. That it is praise worthy. So let’s look at some reactions to the most recent wave. Just a few.
“We the Jews are the very provocation, and until we vanish, the terror won’t end” This article has views from the political right and left. But for those that don’t know, Naftali Bennett, the current Prime Minister was head of a party called “Yamina” which means rightward. He campaigned saying he would never form alliances with the left. But Israel had a weird political system and no political party got the magic number of over 60 votes, so Bennett promptly formed an alliance with the left wing nut Benny Gantz who not only threw Jews out of their homes in Gaza (and that’s worked out so well) but the snakey Bennett had said in the past that Gantz should never become Defense Minister. So of course he joined forces with him and now Gantz is Defense Minister. He also enlisted Yair Lapid, and, wait for it, Mansoor Abbas. Head of the Arab the Arab joint list.
Abbas is also the Deputy Chairman of the Southern Branch of the Islamic Movement. That is not a small matter, given the fact that the Norther Branch of the Islamic Movement was outlawed in Israel.
Well of course he is. Always make political alliances with those trying to kill you in pursuit of personal power. And of course, Bennett can’t/won’t do anything to displease Abbas because if Abbass pulls out of the union, the government falls apart and it’s new elections. So you have a wave of Arabs murdering Israeli citizens and a PM who is scared to do what needs to be done. More on this in a minute.
Umm al-Fahm Mayor Dr. Samir Sobhi Mahamed withdrew his resignation after publishing a letter of condolence to the families of the terrorists who committed the deadly shooting attack in Hadera on Sunday.
Mahamed had announced his resignation in a live interview Thursday evening, only to announce he would remain in office a few hours later.
The words of condolence to the families of the terrorists were published on the official Facebook account of the Municipality of Umm al-Fahm, and were written on his behalf of all municipal employees and residents of the city.
Every terror-supporting Arab-Israeli should have their citizenship revoked, several Israelis said, in what appears to be a growing consensus.
Yes, yes they should. I believe Moshe Feiglin had a great plan for relocation. Sha’i ben-Tekoa has a fabulous plan. Any terrorist not killed committing a terrorist attack will be gathered up with their family taken to the Gaza border and shoved over with the clothes on their backs never to return. The doors will be taken off their house and it will be looted by their neighbors. Done deal.
“Those who dislike the current government will blame the government, those who oppose the occupation will blame the occupation,” said one Israeli man. “It’s all meaningless.”
Pro-tip: Don’t make alliances with those that hate you.
A new immigrant from Moldova, a mother of two, said what’s happening “feels like something new, a different style of terror. Especially when you hear of terror attacks being carried out with firearms instead of knives. You’re never safe, not even in your car, as we saw with one of Tuesday night’s victims.”
She, like many Israelis, feels the blame lies with the police who “had no problem surveilling Israelis who might be positive for COVID-19. How are they oblivious to organized terror attacks?
Ohhh, now that’s a really good question. The police can track and trace innocent people suspected of the crime of having a 99+% survivable flu, but not terrorists. Perhaps they need to re-examine their priorities?
Another Israeli woman, strolling through a local Holon park with her granddaughter, said she feels the attacks are retaliation for Foreign Minister Yair Lapid’s Negev summit, which took place earlier this week with ministers from Abraham Accords nations, Egypt and the US. “It agitates [the Palestinians]. On the other hand, we don’t invest in their education, their infrastructure. It turns Palestinians resentful toward us.”
Um, Ma’am, they get “education” oh yes indeedy they do. And like the American school system that is churning out kids that are groomed for depravity from kindergarten on up but can’t do math or science they know all 57 genders by third grade. Falestinian UN-schools have school books that teach Jews stole the land, and its good for Arabs to kill them, so yep you’re investing in their education, it’s just not the education you hoped for. Much like American parents who are waking up.
Others have already decided to take security into their own hands. A father in his 30s revealed he is one of the many Israelis who have filed a request for a license to carry firearms.
And this brings me back to the start of my column. Israel has very strict gun laws. Firearm Licensing Department This is in English, but like the Torah:
The information provided in English is for explanatory purposes only. In case of any discrepancy, the definitive and binding version is the Hebrew wording of the law or the information provided by the Ministry of Public Security in Hebrew.
Government policy doesn’t turn on a dime. But now Naftali Bennett, is telling people to carry, if they can.
During the upcoming Islamic month-long holiday of Ramadan, which begins on Saturday, Palestinians traditionally ramp up their violent, unprovoked attacks on Israeli civilians. According to a Dutch study cited by the Jerusalem Post on Wednesday, “Ramadan brought with it a 200% increase in terrorist attacks in Israel between 2005 and 2016.”
And Rama-Damn hasn’t even started.
Closing thoughts, for those that want to judge Israel severely, I point out in the past when there have been waves of condemnation towards Israel, similar things begin to happen to U.S. And with President Puddin’ Heads puppet masters planning to open the flood gates of illegal immigration there will soon be plenty of opportunity.
To the feckless Bennett, you knew they were snakes when you picked them up. Now everyone will suffer because of your desire to be PM. You call on everyday Israelis to solve the problem but you have them crippled with strict gun control laws. How do you expect that to work out? Thus the point in my platform; rifles, handguns and shotguns all have different purposes. Every Israeli (not household, each) citizen can be armed with no ammunition limit.
Both of our countries right now are being led by people that hate us, they say you get the government you deserve, and looking at all the craziness going on maybe so. But I didn’t think we’d been that bad. But, ultimately, it’s not what I think, it’s what G-d thinks. אין עוד מלבדו
I know, shocking that I’m not fielding phone calls from Israeli political parties isn’t it?
The word Shavuot (or Shavuos) means “weeks.” It celebrates the completion of the seven-week Omer counting period between Passover and Shavuot.
The Torah was given by G‑d to the Jewish people on Mount Sinai on Shavuot more than 3,300 years ago. Every year on the holiday of Shavuot we renew our acceptance of G‑d’s gift, and G‑d “re-gives” the Torah.
Over the last few weeks as I’ve watched events unfold, I began to see a theme. I’d like to start with the Derek Chauvin trial, or as it seems to me, Kangaroo court, now featuring real kangaroos. I’m not going to debate guilt or innocence so much, as commenting on events. Although I will note that Floyd’s toxicology report is pretty revealing. The Oxford treatment center has a page on lethal doses of drugs. Floyd also had sickle cell it seems, and had at some point had covid, high blood pressure and a few other things. He was also the proud owner of a criminal past that included pointing a gun at a pregnant woman’s stomach during a robbery. All of which is apparently enough to qualify him as a rock star to the radical left.
But my observations involve the trial, or rather the lack of one.
They had a sitting Congresswoman with a history of incitement to violence that appropriated Sky Marshals from high risk flights to accompany her sorry butt to Minneapolis. Yes indeed, Sky Marshals that are supposed to be aboard vetted high-risk flights to protect the public. Not to protect “Mad Maxine”. But wait it gets better, she wanted them to accompany her to the “de-fund the police” type atmosphere of the trial. Can’t make this up, can one?
The Transportation Security Administration, which runs the Federal Air Marshal Service, started reassigning agents from “high risk” commercial flights so they could accompany members of Congress instead, a Fox News report says.
This angered some sky marshals, as their primary duty is to protect the public.
Capitol police, and if necessary the US Secret Service, are responsible for protecting lawmakers.
So Crazy Maxine flies to Minneapolis and tells the peaceful rioters if they don’t get the verdict that the mob wants, to get more confrontational. Gee, do you suppose the jury felt intimidated? Old Max decided to double down to her no consequences actions by making remarks about the judge.
The mob, a racist self-serving congresswoman and the propaganda media are the one that meted out “justice” in the Chauvin trial. Did fear of their city burning impact their verdict? How could it not? No, no I don’t know. And neither does anyone else, nor will anyone else because that bell can’t be un-rung.
But America is not the only country that is suffering from justice being snatched by the mob. In Franceistan in April of 2017 a 65 year old Orthodox Jewish woman named Sarah Halimi was snatched from her bed by a muslim neighbor who had lived a floor down for 20 years. Said muslim (nope, name doesn’t matter) had first tried to attack one of his own family members in a different apartment who locked his family’s door and called the police. Thwarted, the muslim “bucket of chum” put on new clothes, crawled out his window to Sarah Halimi’s apartment and began to beat her, calling her “satan”. The Police had arrived in response to the family members call, but they did not enter. More people began calling the police in response to Sarah’s screams giving them the exact location, some muslims called the police and even told them what Koranic verses he was reciting. And yet, the police never entered. Remember folks, when there is trouble, the police are only moments away…. The murderer then threw Sarah out of the window. I’ve not heard, and honestly don’t want to know, if she was still alive at that point.
And Sarah is not the only victim to die in a horrific manner in cultured old Franceistan.
And do you know the sentence the horrific murderer will receive? None. The French courts said since the killer was high on pot at the time, he’s not responsible for his actions. Drunk drivers are sleeping soundly in France tonight.
Last Thursday, three French citizens were brutally killed in a church in Nice, one of them a woman whose throat was slit. This gruesome act, coming barely two weeks after the beheading of Samuel Paty, a history teacher who showed his class cartoons from the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo to illustrate the concept of freedom of speech, has reawakened France to the reality of Islamist terrorism. Since 2012, more than 260 people of all backgrounds have died in terrorist attacks: in a Jewish school, at the Charlie Hebdo headquarters, in a concert hall, in the streets of Nice, in churches, and in police street patrols.
Yet when looking at some of the coverage of the most recent attacks in the United States, and the reaction from leaders like Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the culprit is France itself. French President Emmanuel Macron’s vow to fight “Islamist separatism” has been treated as its own act of barbarism. Most French citizens, however, aware of the reality on the ground, recognize this fight as necessary and overdue.
Make no mistake, it is a problem affecting many in Franceistan. From the Phantom Nation broadcast a couple of weeks ago.
In France in a recent Harris interactive French poll, 49% of those polled would not be upset if the French military took over the country without governmental authorization, took over the country to restore order and safety.
The letter was signed by 20 former French generals and some 1000 former and active military members who denounced the insecurity and Islamism and warned of coming potential civil war. 86% agree that the laws of the French republic no longer apply everywhere. They began to change years ago when there were only 750 or so “no go zones”, no go by police, fire and emergency medical services. Franceistan surrendered her sovereignty. Islamism is not a word used by muslims themselves. There is no extremist small faction, it’s a ploy.
The host’s point being that France is now so overrun by mobs who will riot, and murder if they are unhappy about something, that ordinary citizens do not feel safe. The rule of law and their civilization as they know it is probably well on the path to being over. As mentioned in the “We are on our own” article many Jews are considering Aliyah, as they have been, and have been leaving France for sometime now as the acts of Anti-Semitism increase.
In France the citizens are so afraid of the mobs of their local variant, that normal people, normal citizens are denied justice. In America, as we watch judges refuse to hear cases and juries are intimidated into rendering a sentence that perhaps they might have anyway, but it was not a honest process. Apparently the muslims in Franceistan are longing for their ancient homeland in the area of Bordeaux and Burgundy seeing as how they are killing French citizens. Or what used to be French citizens. In Germany muslims are pining for their ancient homeland of Munich.
Not that America has a lot of room to say much, from sea to shining sea Jews are being attacked with impunity. Maybe they need a group “JewishLivesMatter”? This page has a lot of video embedded, Jewish man brutally assaulted by pro-Palestinian mob in NYC as does this one Jewish and Arab protesters clash in Manhattan. The size of the different mobs is really quite frightening. This is just another flavor of BLM, and my guess is the funding and cues come from the same source. Anyone remember just a few short years ago when a contingent of BLM, those deep students of geopolitical history spent the large sum of money to travel to Israel to meet with their brethren the Falestian Hamass? Oh yes, there is more terrorism on the way. Barry 3.0’s front man the confused Biden has followed orders and appointed only anti-Israel and anti-Semitic people to positions since he’s been elected.
You know all those chants of “From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free?” Take a look at the map, I’ve marked the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea. What lies between in? Oh, all of Israel. In a broadcast of the radio show Jerusalem Lights Rabbi Chaim Richman makes the point from the river to the sea is a call to genocide and the media and politicians let it roll on by.
From the river to the sea
To those Jews living in other countries, they are beginning to think they might not actually be safe there. Perhaps they are remembering how the Jews in Europe left it until a bit too late. So perhaps it’s time to make Aliyah? Ahh, Aliyah. To the one tiny Jewish nation state in the whole wide world. The one place where most certainly a Jew should feel safe to wear a Kippah, to pray openly, to observe Shabbat and practice the mitzvot. There are around 50 muslim majority countries in the world, but one tiny little Jewish one. One tiny little Jewish nation is one too many for some.
And so many people have what I would consider a misguided opinion of what is going on in Israel. Why would that be I wonder?
And I would guess, the same people that think there is Israeli apartheid are the same ones that think the Fauxci muzzle is effective at stopping a virus. Because that kind of news, and those kinds of opinions come from the same kind of people. Yeah, Israel is really bad with apartheid. #ApartheidFail
Arab rights in Israel (not Gaza)
Brigitte Gabriel can give you a crash course in Islam which may clear things up a bit.
This is not complicated. This is a religious war, and it is a war for freedom from terrorism. It is a war not to live under submission and pay the jitzia. That’s why muslims can pray at Har HaBayit (the Temple Mount) and Jews and Christians can’t. But you see, the left is so apathetic to religion now, them being “woke” and all, that religious wars and freedom doesn’t trip their triggers. So it’s packaged and sold other ways. In America it’s “systemic racism” in Europe it is flat “Anti-Semitism” but it’s Europe and they don’t care. In Israel it’s the poor pitiful Falestinians, and yet if you look at the rights they have, and they have members in Knesset and the Israeli Supreme Court that doesn’t really pass the smell test. If you don’t care to believe me and want to do your own research, let me introduce you to Palestinian Media Watch. Yeah, I know what you heard the arabs say on cnn and msnbc. Do you know what they said to the arab world? Remember what Brigitte told you about Arafat and Oslo.
Someone that gets it right is the Bolt Report from Australia.
Israel too faces the mobs, and the police there also fear the media and attacks. If you watch only one video on all of this page, watch this one. #Kenosha In Israel only worse.
Life is very very cheap to the pieceful falestinians…there is a very very revealing telephone call between the IDF and Hamass telling them to vacate a tower before it is bombed. You know they do that right? They call up and warn the residents before they bomb a building in Gaza. Gaza does not do that before they’ve rained down the over 4000 rockets on Israel. Basically Israel was told “Bomb away, we don’t care”. ‘Shocking’ Phone Call Between IDF and Gazan Reveals ‘Entire Conflict in a Nutshell’
There is a cease-fire now, requested by the blundering buffoon pretending to be President of the United States. The result of this will be the continuation of the aggression by hamass. Who will soon have even more reason to attack because they are being given more money by Tliar, Omar, the Occasional-Cortex and the rest of the squat, the Demoncrats are quite Anti-Semitic now even if not everyone recognizes that. But ultimately, it is the House of Congress that hold purse strings isn’t it? They control if the arabs that murder Jews in their own land get nice big paychecks.
I have long maintained that Israel is often a “crystal ball” for America. Those things you see happening in Israel that the left so roundly condemns? They will before long be happening in America. Not just to Jews, but to all Americans. Jews are just usually the Canary in the coal mine.
To those that aren’t really all that sure that Israel is deserving of support, may I just ask you; what other issues do you agree with Ilan Oman, Rashida Tliar, and the Occasional-Cortex and Bernie Sanders? You believe there should be reparations for slavery? You think BLM is justified in burning towns, pulling people out of their cars are beating them to death? You think it is justified to pull down statues that involve our country’s history? You believe diners on the street deserve to be attacked? You think that America is systemically racist and deserves to be destroyed? Well, if you can not think of one single other issue that you agree with the radical left on, other than perhaps Israel isn’t really all that innocent, you might want to see if perhaps there is some information missing that might affect your opinion. And if you think Israel should just be left on their own to deal with hamass and the pieceful falestians, ok. I can accept that too. But when they go in and clean house, and finally put an end to this un-ending nightmare of arab aggression, as they need to do, then perhaps be kind enough to keep your condemnation to yourself?
People say regarding the giving of the Torah on Shavuot, do you need G-d to tell you how to live? Do you think the world needs some god to tell them how to live?
Yes, yes I do. Because “justice” being determined by fear of a mob is not justice.
Israeli Independence Day! The following is a 10 minute film from the Israeli archives. It’s film shot in 1948 and I get such a feeling of awe, of gratitude. How could such a small band of poorly equipped people, many with no military training have over come the massive amount of arabs that came against them along with the British who sided with the arabs.Only the hand of G-d making good on his word!
In case you don’t know it, the best movie Kirk Douglas ever made was about Mickey Marcus! Cast A Giant Shadow
You could also read or listen to the The Hope, Herman Wouk’s epic novel. I owe our President Brad for insisting I would love The Hope and The Glory. I adore them, it’s like stepping back in time.
The people were so grateful to again be in their homeland, to again have a state of their own. The price for the land was fearful, blood, sweat, tears, lives and sorrow. From the holocaust to today the price continues, from nazis to hezbollocks.
I think that’s what makes me so sad when I hear the left wing try to tear down Israel, the one tiny Jewish nation all the while claiming they are not anti-semitic. I’ve heard left wing Jews say things I would have thought came out of the mouth of Ilhan Omar or Rashida Tliar and I can not even begin to understand that. Such an amazing gift given by G-d, fought for so desperately by those men, women and children who first came home and to see their sacrifice regarded so blithely is painful for me. For the record, I have the same feelings when people speak that way about America. Neither state is perfect, but both were established based on the law of G-d, Judeo-Christian principles. Therefore I feel far superior to the other choices.
These are a couple of radio interviews from the Tamar Yonah show on Israel newstalk radio. The first is interviews with people who were teenagers and fought during the war of independence. It’s an old interview, but still so very good.
The second is an interview with a man named Amnon Sharon who was an Israeli POW held by the Syrians. Tamar also talks about some other more modern heroes.
If those people who choose not to accept the word of G-d ever wonder these days, if the Jews really need their own state, a land of their own they need only look at the mayor Warren Wilhelm Jr of NYC twitter feed.
DeBlasio’s threat
I re-posted and asked if he had offered to build a nice high wall around part of the city for them, because you know, safety.
Not that such an order will have consequences.
DeBlasio’s results
You Jews had your chance, right.
Yes, and we took it on the 5th of Iyar 1948 in the State of Israel. She was fought for, she is loved and she lives.
I will leave you with a short video from Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks from Israel, Home of Hope
So this is late, by more than a week late. But LIFE is intruding on my life right now, so while this column is late, it is no less sincere or grateful. The reason it’s more than a week late is that #ShukranDruze2020 is a week that is meant to coincide with Parshat Yitro, Exodus 18:1-20:23. Yitro (Jethro) was the father in law of Moshe. The man responsible for the organization of courts and administering justice to the new nation of Israel. Jethro of Midian is considered an ancestor of Druze, who revere him as their spiritual founder and chief prophet.
The Druzites form a religious minority in Israel of more than 100,000, mostly residing in the north of the country. In 2004, there were 102,000 Druze living in the country. In 2010, the population of Israeli Druze citizens grew to over 125,000. At the end of 2018, there were 143,000. Most Israeli Druze identify ethnically as Arabs. Today, thousands of Israeli Druze belong to “Druze Zionist” movements.
The Druze are Arabic speaking, their culture is their own, but they are not considered muslims and have been persecuted (like everyone else) by the muslims. They broke ranks with the mainstream muslim decisions in 1948 and followed their belief that G-d gave the land of Israel to the Jews. Since then they have served along side the Jews in the state of Israel. You can read much more about the Druze here.
In yet another stunning display of failure to carry out apartheid successfully Israeli Druze are members of Israeli society, they vote, they serve in the IDF and much more. According to the web site The Druze Veterans Association
The Druze of Israel are a tiny yet fiercely loyal minority who serve with pride and dignity and have sacrificed 505 of their brethren in the defense of Israel – with over 1,500 wounded. Out of a community of just 120,000 those are huge, unfortunate, and very telling numbers.
In 2014, when Jews were being massacred during their prayers at a synagogue in Jerusalem’s Har Nof neighborhood, it was an off-duty Druze police officer who ran in to stop the terrorist.
When Israel launched Operation Protective Edge in 2014 to curb terrorism from Gaza, a Druze commander led the ground battle.
In 2017, two Israeli police officers were killed while defending tourists on Jerusalem’s Temple Mount. Both officers were Druze.
Israel’s Presidential Military Liaison is Druze.
The commander responsible for cross-border goodwill with Gaza is Druze.
The Surgeon General of the Israel Defense Forces is Druze.
Many other senior leaders in Israel’s security and judiciary infrastructure, past and present, are Druze.
The first responder at the Har Nof Synagogue massacre was a Druze police officer, and he was attacked. More recently the two police officers murdered on the Temple Mount by pieceful falestinians were Druze. While the leadership of Israel paid condolence calls to their families and mourned their loss, crickets came from the arabs. As Michael Cohen of Druze Vets points out the Druze have a religious belief that they are not allowed to kill, or lie and have a similar ethical code. But if they have to fight, they will go first and they will go hard.
Shukran in Arabic means Todah, or Thank you. So what is this Shukran Druze 2020 about? It was, again sorry this is late, a week of thanking the Druze for all the do for the state and citizens of Israel. They are Arabs living peacefully in Israel, as members of the Israeli society helping keep the citizens of Israel safe. They are proof that Israel has a poor grasp of the concept of apartheid. #ShukranDruze2020 and #ApartheidFailIsrael
I hear it quite often, “I’m not antisemitic, I’m anti-Zionist, I’m anti-Israel. Well, let’s just call that what it is, shall we? Horse-schiff. It is antisemitic.
There is one tiny Jewish nation, there are around 50 muslim countries not counting Germanistan, Francistan and Englandistan. No one seems to have a problem with this. Certainly the UN doesn’t. They should. When the UN replaced the League of Nations it agreed to take on all the League of Nations mandates and agreements. See, they were liars even back then. From Barry Shaw’s The View from Israel
The Europeans take no account of the fact that, prior to 1948, the so-called West Bank was Israel in territory that included Judea & Samaria, the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea down to Eilat.
They take no account that this was prescribed by the League of Nations (the forerunners of the United Nations) in 1922 in which they affirmed the 1920 decision of the Supreme Court of the League of Nations that “recognized the historical connection of the Jewish people with Palestine and the grounds for reconstituting their national home in that country.”
We need to question the European drift from the requirement to “secure the cooperation of all Jews who are willing to assist in the establishment of the Jewish national home” to a policy that is blatantly anti-Semitic.
….
As for “Illegal occupation,” it is not illegal for a nation to defend itself. Nor is it illegal for such a nation to hold onto territory seized in a defensive war against a congenital aggressor as Israel was against Jordan, both in 1948 and in 1967, when it twice invaded Israel in order to annihilate the Jewish state and to banish its Jewish population.
Evidence of this is seen in Jordan’s brutal occupation of Jerusalem in which they destroyed all the ancient synagogues and physically expelled all the remaining Jews, those they hadn’t killed, from the Old City of Jerusalem. That was when Jordan occupied Judea & Samaria and the Jordan Valley, which became known as The West Bank (of Jordan) between 1948 and 1967.
Nobody cried about “illegally occupying Palestinian land” during that period. The Europeans had nothing to say about calling on the Jordanians to withdraw from occupied Israeli land. They were silent when Jordan joined with other Arab armies to “drive the Jews into the sea,” from their vantage positions on the high ground overlooking the narrow coastal plain of what was left of Israel since their initial conquest of Israeli territory.
The Europeans silently expected the annihilation of the Jewish State. They did nothing. They watched and waited. Many were disappointed by the miraculous victory of a determined people’s army against the British trained and equipped Jordanian army who were driven back across the Jordan River as Israeli soldiers liberated Jerusalem and drove the Syrians off the Golan Heights.
They did nothing, they watched and they waited. Yep, just like the Holocaust. Why does this matter? In case you’re unaware, in December the Temple Mount, Beit HaMikdash is set to be renamed by the UN. In a final betray by barak hussein obama (may his name be erased) in UN resolution 2334 barry tried to erase Jews living in Judea and Samaria, they were an obstacle to peace. The peace of the UN and barak hussein obama will only be achieved when the Jews living in Israel, all of Israel are dead and gone. There is a good interview with Barry on the Tamar Yonah Show.
The UN gave its preliminary approval to a resolution that referred to the Temple Mount solely by its Muslim name of Haram al-Sharif.
The resolution passed at the UN’s Fourth Committee in New York 154-8, with 14 abstentions and 17 absences. It was one of eight pro-Palestinian resolutions approved on Friday, out of a slate of more than 15 such texts the committee is expected to approve. The UN General Assembly will take a final vote on the texts in December.
According to Barry Shaw this is not so much muslim countries pushing this, it’s western democracies. Not antisemitic? Horse-schiff, it is. While the Jordanian Wafkos control the Temple Mount, located in Israel, they limit access Jews and Christians have to go to pray there. In fact, Jews and Christians aren’t allowed to pray there. Only muslims, at their mollusk. Once a mollusk is planted, to muslims that area is now under muslim control. Thanks so much Moshe Dayan.
That makes Israel’s decision to allow muslims to re-open the Sidna Omar mollusk in the Jewish quarter baffling and heinous. The Sidna Omar mollusk is located along the main road to the Kotel (The Western wall which is not the holiest site in Judaism). But I’m sure unlike the muslims that control the Temple Mount, these muslims will not interfere with Jews and Christians on their way there. Horse-schiff.
Some Jews just don’t seem to realize that the alligator may eat them last, but it will eat them.
I don’t know if it’s an effort to prove they are “fair” towards the arabs or they are “woke”, but either way lunacy seems to weigh heavily on some of their statements and actions. Some may just be indoctrination. It is moral equivalence. Some I think is influenced by rejection of G-d, Torah and lust for power.
Bernie Sanders who campaigns with known anti-semite Linda Sarsour by this side? He is more communist that Jew I think. Communism is his religion.
Sanders curried favor by suggesting that Israel did not respect human rights, snapping, “I would use the leverage of $3.8 billion. It is a lot of money, and we cannot give it carte blanche to the Israeli government, or for that matter to any government at all. We have a right to demand respect for human rights and democracy.” He threatened, “My solution is, to Israel, if you want military aid you’re going to have to fundamentally change your relationship to the people of Gaza. I would say that some of the $3.8 billion should go right now to humanitarian aid in Gaza.”
Horse-schiff, he knows how that money will be used.
Now the students at Oberlin may just be indoctrinated, stupid or just being “woke”. But either way this is antisemitic horse-schiff.
Oberlin ignorance
I can tell them a bit of the bio of the people killed in the attack.
Notable Jewish groups such as J street, Jewish Voices for Peace (who aren’t) and If Not Now routinely attack President Trump, arguably the most pro-Jewish, pro-Israel President ever as being an antisemite. This too is horse-schiff. I also didn’t mention what those groups are notable for.
Any attacks against Jews are blamed on the President by the press, and they yammer on and on about it, despite the fact it’s not true. It’s #FakeNews horse-schiff.
Why do I say that? Because in the attack in Jersey City the media has portrayed it as shootout that started and just “happened to wind up at the Kosher Deli”. Horse-schiff.
Authorities are still investigating and have not indicated a motive for the attack. Before the mayor’s tweets today, investigators had said the store was chosen at random and was not indicative of a hate crime.
“Why did they say that when it is clearly untrue?” a community activity asked, speaking on condition of anonymity. “And why were there rumors of a drug bust gone bad and a homicide investigation when that was clearly not the case?”
But Mayor Steve Fulop said surveillance video of the attackers made it clear they targeted the kosher market, and he pronounced the bloodshed a hate crime against Jews, as did New York’s mayor and governor.
So, it’s not so much about dead Jews because the media is glossing over the deli was the target. And it can’t be about President Trump and his white supremacists because as it turns out the killers were black and part of a group called Black Hebrew Israelites.
Also, investigators believe the two dead attackers — who were thought to be a couple — identified themselves in the past as Black Hebrew Israelites, a movement whose members have been known to rail against whites and Jews, according to a law enforcement official who was briefed on the matter but was not authorized to discuss the case publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity.
A pipe bomb seems to have been found in the rented van driven by the Buckets O’Chum.
Grewal said that within seconds of pulling up to the market, Anderson got out with a rifle and immediately began shooting, and Graham followed him into the store. He would not say whether Graham had a weapon.
A pipe bomb was found in the van, FBI agent Gregory Ehrie said.
Jersey City’s mayor said it was clear that the killers deliberately made their way toward the kosher market, passing many other possible targets along the way, and calmly and promptly opened fire.
I’m adding this video posted by Dov Hikind in because it is just so beyond belief. I heard about it from Ben Shapiro, and he said no media outlets are covering it. You need to see it. You really do.
“If they got shot dead, that was great”.
SHOCKING VIDEO: As Jewish bodies were still laying in cold blood after being murdered by terrorists in Jersey City, a rep of @AmericansAA captured spontaneous antisemitic tirades blaming Jews for their own murder & ppl cheering it on!
The 9th of Av, Tisha B’Av, was actually on Saturday, but since we do not allow anything to interfere with Sabbath joy, the fasting and observance is moved to the next day. The 9th of Av was observed (not really celebrated) on the 10th of Av this year. The 9th of Av is the saddest of days, it has a long history of tragedy going to back to when the spies came back from the land of Israel and slandered it by lying and saying they could never take the land, there were giants, and, and, and. Only Joshua and Caleb spoke well and truthfully about it. The people unwisely believed the other 10 of the spies. Sort of like people who today chose to believe the mainstream media #MSM with their #FakeNews. Just because a lot of them are saying it doesn’t make it true.
I recently watched a video a fellow writer (thank you Y.B.) sent me of The Rebbe discussing antisemitism.
It was very interesting. I guess The Rebbe really never talked about it that much. He absolutely knew it was real, and his family had been a victim of it more than once. He believed we need to first rely on G-d. If G-d doesn’t guard the home (or nation) the guard keeps watch in vain. First we must make sure G-d is guarding the home, and thereafter we must hire the guards for “we may not rely on miracles”. Everything must have a foothold in nature. And once we’re doing everything physically possible through the laws of nature- indeed that’s the Torah way, the verse states G-d will bless you in all you do. Lest you think you can sit and await G-d’s salvation. The verse emphasizes in all that you do, you must work within the laws of nature. This is a part I want to talk about. Another part was when he talked about the way to influence a group of people to stop being antisemitic is to work with those at the top of the movement, not so much the people involved in it, but the leaders of it. This worked in the case of the Crown Heights Riots.
This is not working out well within the Demoncratic party. These are from a variety of sources.
Any attempts to confront the leaders with statements made or positions or actions take are met with howls of “raaaaccciissstttt”. Even though no one is talking about their race, only their actions.
Who does he think I am?
It’s interesting, G-d gave Israel to the Jewish people, he gave other land to other people. From Deuteronomy 2:
Turn northward and command the people, “You are about to pass through the territory of your brothers, the people of Esau, who live in Seir; and they will be afraid of you. So be very careful. Do not contend with them, for I will not give you any of their land, no, not so much as for the sole of the foot to tread on, because I have given Mount Seir to Esau as a possession. You shall purchase food from them for money, that you may eat, and you shall also buy water of them for money, that you may drink. For the Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He knows your going through this great wilderness. These forty years the Lord your God has been with you. You have lacked nothing.”’ So we went on, away from our brothers, the people of Esau, who live in Seir, away from the Arabah road from Elath and Ezion-geber.
And we turned and went in the direction of the wilderness of Moab. And the Lord said to me, ‘Do not harass Moab or contend with them in battle, for I will not give you any of their land for a possession, because I have given Ar to the people of Lot for a possession.’
Nobody howls about that, no one is calling those countries apartheid or racist, or oppressive. Even if they are. In fact, no matter how any arab country treats Jews, Christians, Gays, or women, or dogs. Not a word is said. Odd that, eh? Only Jewish Israel.
But back to the Rebbe’s talk, it’s only if G-d is guarding the house, and Demoncrats are also doing their best to throw him out of the country, and life.
The destruction of the two Temples, both on the 9th of Av was horrific. The siege of Jerusalem was horrific. The results of those tragedies are still felt today. Jews are not allowed to pray on Har HaBeit, and often not allowed to visit on special holy days as muslims always seem to come up with a muslim holiday to co-opt the day. And sadly, Bibi always seems to cave to the muslims. If you want to talk about cultural appropriation, here ya go. An appeal to moderate Arabs on Tisha Be Av. Nope it’s not your imagination that mosques often seem to be built of top of churches and synagogues the muslims have destroyed. Remember when they wanted to build on at the site of the attack on the Twin Towers? Yeah, there was a reason for that.
So first we make sure G-d is guarding the house, then we hire the guards. For many of us, we are the guards. We are our own first responders. Except those on the left that hate Jews, Israel, conservatives, Christians and anything in a MAGA red hat want to disarm everyone. They keep telling us how much safer we will all be if only everyone is disarmed of any means of defending themselves and their families. And it just can’t wait. San Fran Nan is demanding everyone come back from recess to enact gun control, President Trump’s knee is jerking. Everyone must be disarmed. Right. Now. Why? I’ve wondered if the left is so insistent that people be disarmed because inside they know they can’t be trusted with weapons. Do they feel if they had a gun they would shoot someone over a parking space? Bit by bit as Trump derangement syndrome grows their masks are coming down. The violence against Trump supporters, or anyone they feel is a conservative grows. There was a new movie slated to come out of September 27th, The Huntwhich shows liberals hunting down and killing Trump supporters for sport. This is totally acceptable to the left and Hollyweird. I understand it may not be released then in light of the recent attacks by leftists that left so many dead. Again, you know why I don’t go to movies. It’s Universal studio if you’re curious.
Anytime there is an attempt to render one group of people defenseless, it is not going to turn out well. When only the government has weapons, it is not going to turn out well. I’ve heard it said “If your sitting at the poker table wondering who the mark is, it’s you”, or something along those lines.
The Jews fought back fiercely in 70 AD against the siege of Jerusalem against Titus and Rome, but they were so out numbered. Part of the battle relies on having effective weapons, some of which they had seized from previous encounters with the Romans, but the other part is there needs to be enough of them to be effective.
Recently the House of Representatives voted on a non-binding resolution to condemn Boycott Divest and Sanction (BDS, or BS for short) against Israel. The motion passed 398-17. So who were the 17?
Earl Blumenauer (D-Oregon)
Andre Carson (D-Indiana)
Debbie Dingell (D-Michigan)
Jesus “Chuy” Garcia (D-Illinois)
Raul Grijalva (D-Arizona)
Pramila Jayapal (D-Washington)
Barbara Lee (D-California)
Thomas Massie (R-Kentucky)
Betty McCollum (D-Minnesota)
Gwen Moore (D-Wisconsin)
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-New York)
Ilhan Omar (D-Minnesota)
Chellie Pingree (D-Maine)
Mark Pocan (D-Wisconsin)
Bobby Rush (D-Illinois)
Rashida Tlaib (D-Michigan)
Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-New Jersey)
Sixteen of the 17 representatives who voted no were Demoncrats, one was Republican, Thomas Massie from Kentucky. WTH?? Four out of the five who voted present also were Democrats. The only non-Democrat who voted present was Rep. Justin Amash, an Independent.
“I stand before you the daughter of Palestinian immigrants,” said Tlaib on the House floor the morning of the tally. “Parents who experienced being stripped of their human rights, the right to freedom of travel, equal treatment. So I can’t stand by and watch this attack on our freedom of speech and the right to boycott the racist policies of the government and the state of Israel. I love our country’s freedom of speech, Madam Speaker. Dissent is how we nurture democracy.”
And
Earlier in the day, Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) criticized the resolution, saying, “It sets a dangerous precedent because it attempts to delegitimize certain people’s political speech and to send a message that our government can and will take action against speech it doesn’t like”
During the 40-minute floor debate on the resolution, House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Eliot Engel (D-N.Y.) said the BDS movement “promotes a one-sided view of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that seeks to marginalize Israel, that would deny the Jewish people the right of national self-determination.” He added, “Participating in an international commercial effort that undermines Israel’s legitimacy and scuttles the chances of a two-state solution isn’t the same as an individual exercising First Amendment rights.”
After the vote, Rep. Alex Mooney (R-WV) tweeted, “Displays of anti-Semitism have become too frequent in the past few months, even from members of this House of Representatives—and it is time that we stand united in support of Israel.”
Of course we know my opinion of the “two state solution”. That is already in place. It’s called Gaza, where rockets and fire balloons are launched into Israel.
She compared the BDS movement to the American boycott of Nazi Germany.
“The right to boycott is deeply rooted in the fabric of our country,” she said. “What was the Boston Tea Party but a boycott? Where would we be now without the boycott led by the civil rights activists in the 1950s and 60s like the Montgomery bus boycott and the United Farm Workers Grape boycott?”
She then pivoted to the history of Americans boycotting foreign government, saying, “Americans boycotted Nazi Germany in response to dehumanization, imprisonment, and genocide of Jewish people.”
She claimed in May that “Palestinian Arabs living in the British Mandate prior to the establishment of the State of Israel “provided” a safe haven to Jews after the Holocaust.” Look up Hevron massacre 1929 if you are unsure why I’m angry about that particular statement.
“There’s always kind of a calming feeling when I think of the tragedy of the Holocaust,” Tlaib said, “that it was my ancestors, Palestinians, who lost their land and some lost their lives, their livelihood, their human dignity, their existence, in many ways, has been wiped out … in the name of trying to create a safe haven for Jews, post-Holocaust, post-tragedy and the horrific persecution of Jews across the world at that time. And I love the fact that it was my ancestors that provided that in many ways.”
It seems that the two anti-Semites, Omar (whom I don’t think is married to her brother this week, though she isn’t saying) and Tlaib are planning on visiting Israel.
I really like Sha’i ben-Tekoa’s solution. Let them enter Israel through the Hamass terror tunnels, they’ll feel right at home. He also has a great itinerary for them. Ripping good show with some American History on Thomas Jefferson.
But there are people that disagree. While they are not calling out the pile of Tlaib by name, their actions say she’s liar liar pants on fire.
Who are these people? Arabs. Specifically Arabs in other countries. It seems the Falestinians are beginning to get on everyone’s last nerve.
This may not have made headline news last week.
This is Saudi blogger Mohammed Said,
This man is an ARAB, and he is being treated this way by the Falestinians. I find this curious as well as appalling. But in the Arab world, it’s an eye for an eye. Literally. In Torah it means the value of an eye for an eye.
So in Riyadh
Who else besides the Saudi Arabs have had a bellyful of the Tlai Falestinians? Syrians.
In an exclusive interview, Syrian analyst Wael Ashaq explained that many people in Saudi Arabia despise how the Palestinian Authority is assisting the Assad regime: “They only care about what is good for them. They don’t care about the millions killed every day by the Assad regime. If we look at the issue historically, the Palestinians went everywhere in Syria, Lebanon and Jordan and created many problems and troubles. We as Syrians helped the Palestinians but when we have a problem with our dictator, they stand with this terrorist regime and help them politically as well as militarily. This is true for both Fatah and Hamas. They are both the same on this.”
On top of that, he added that many people in the Arab world are looking in order to build a strong relationship with Israel: “We want a good relationship with Israel because we know that Israel respects our right to be a free people and a liberated country. Israel is the only democratic state in our area. We don’t see any other free and democratic governments in the area. We are looking for a free Syria that will be just like Israel. The region has changed in favor of a new alliance. Any government has to make good relations with Israel if they want their country to be free and democratic and for their people to live with dignity and to have a good life. Therefore, we condemn Palestinian terrorist practices against Israeli civilians and those who support Israel.”
But wait! There’s more!
Mendi Safadi, who heads the Safadi Center for International Diplomacy, Research, Public Relations and Human Rights, added that many people in the Arab world are waking up and discovering not only how the Palestinian Authority and Hamas have abandoned the Syrian people but also have been taking hostile actions against Saudi Arabia. He noted that the Saudis are greatly disturbed with Hamas and the Islamic Jihad for building a relationship with Iran.
Safadi stressed that the Saudis view Iran to be their number one enemy for the Houthis, Iran’s proxy in Yemen, have fired rockets at Saudi Arabia. In addition, they view Iran’s nuclear program to be a major threat to the Saudi Kingdom and its regional sphere of influence. In light of this, many Saudis are greatly disturbed over the fact that many Palestinians don’t share their hostile perception of the Iranian regime and are actually working in order to have a good relationship with Iran.
According to Safadi, another factor that disturbs the Saudis is the popularity of the Muslim Brotherhood among Palestinians. The Saudis consider the Muslim Brotherhood to be a terrorist organization. In light of this, they are not huge fans of Hamas, which is essentially the Palestinian Arab branch of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said that people such as Palestinians have no other option than to “riot” because they are “marginalized” by Israel — drawing swift outrage from Jewish advocacy groups.
…
Radio host Ebro Darden prompted the discussion with Ocasio-Cortez by saying there are a number of “corrupt” governments — lumping together Israel, the United States, Russia and Saudi Arabia — which he claimed are “working in concert.”
He went on to assert that young Jewish people are against the “Palestine occupation” and would like to see the ouster of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Darden also ranted about “white supremacist Jews” and said it’s “something most people can’t wrap their brains around.”
“And what’s going on with Israel and Palestine, while it’s very, very deep, it is very, very criminal, and it is very, very unjust,” he said.
Ocasio-Cortez agreed, saying, “Absolutely.”
“I think, too, where we’re at as a country when it comes to Israel-Palestine is very much a generational issue,” Ocasio-Cortez said.
One person is responsible, the one who pulled the trigger. Not the gun. But the very anti-Semitic goon “squad” is certainly doing their best to incite hatred with their lies. It seems many in the Arab world are realizing that the Falestinians are a lie and are tired of them, and their lies. How many Americans will still buy the lies and that pile of Tlaib that she and the rest of the goon squad are dishing out?
This year Jerusalem Day was a quite emotional experience. Friends had urged me to read The Hope and The Glory both by the late Herman Wouk. I’ve not had much free time to read of late, and so I did something I haven’t really done before. I bought a book on, well, not tape, but a audio book. In fact, since I’ve got a mountain of work to do, I considered the books good bribe value. The Hope is the story of pre-state Israel on up to the 1967 Six Day War. I have to tell you, it is an incredibly moving experience to be listening to the battle of Jerusalem scene during the Six Day war from The Hope on Yom Yerushalyim, Jerusalem Day.
Initially Israel had not planned to recapture part of Jerusalem and reunite it. They begged Jordan to stay out of the war. But the King of Jordan was a fan of cnn and msnbc (#FakeNews) so when Camel Abdel Nasser (yes I meant to spell it like that) lied about the damage Israel’s air force inflicted on the Egyptian air force, he believed him and wanted to be a dog in the fight tearing tiny Israel to shreds.
Prime Minister Levi Eshkol sent a message to King Hussein on June 5 saying Israel would not attack Jordan unless he initiated hostilities. When Jordanian radar picked up a cluster of planes flying from Egypt to Israel, and the Egyptians convinced Hussein the planes were theirs, he ordered the takeover of the UN headquarters located near Talpiot and the shelling of West Jerusalem. Snipers were shooting at the King David Hotel and Jordanian mortars had hit the Knesset. It turned out that the planes were Israel’s and were returning from destroying the Egyptian air force on the ground.
Jordan attacked.
The fight to reclaim Jerusalem was fierce. Ammunition Hill was one of the toughest battles of the war.
Eventually Israel prevailed and it’s eternal capital was once more reunited. The Jews living in Jerusalem had been forced to flee in 1948. Yes, there were Jews living in east Jerusalem before Israel was declared a state.
Jews fleeing Jerusalem
Who can forget Motta (Mordachai) Gur’s famous pronouncement: הר הבית בידינו
Har HaBeyit B’Yadenu, the Temple Mount is in our hands. It gets me every time.
But when it comes to Israel, the world doesn’t play by the same rules they expect Israel to play by. One of the threads running through the book was the constant struggle to get arms, ammunition, tanks, planes, all the weapons a state needs to defend itself. Where Britain and other countries would sell or give arms to the arabs, pressure was put on countries not to sell any arms to the Jews. In fact, when Britain was there, the Jews had to hide their weapons, if they had any. In one part of The Hope, the character Yossi Nitzan gives a speech talking about how the Jews of Europe were defenseless. They had relied on the Goyim Police to keep them safe, and they had no weapons. He said that’s why it was so important Israel be able to defend herself, and why he was a tank commander. Darn skippy! That’ll do it.
Another one of the events the book talked about was the building of the “Burma Road” and the siege of Jerusalem. The arabs held the fort at Latrun and so controlled the road down below. They had cut off Jerusalem from food and water. Part of The Hope talked about Col. David “Mickey” Marcus. Col. Marcus went to Israel under the name of Michael Stone to help in the siege of Jerusalem. But for a period of time he went back to the US. In this film clip it talks about how the Jews had almost no weapons to fight with. Since the book recounted Colonel Marcus’s contribution, I felt like the puppy and I needed to watch Cast A Giant Shadow again. The puppy had never seen it, and what kind of derelict mother would I be?
MUSLIM VIOLENCE & POLICE RESPONSE ON THE TEMPLE MOUNT TODAYThis is a compilation of a number of short video clips taken and uploaded onto social media by Muslims on the Temple Mount today, showing scenes of Muslim violence and the Israel police response.
The Syrian army used the Golan Heights, which tower 3,000 feet above the Galilee, to shell Israeli farms and villages. Syria’s attacks grew more frequent in 1965 and 1966, forcing children living on kibbutzim in the Huleh Valley to sleep in bomb shelters. Israel repeatedly protested the Syrian bombardments to the UN Mixed Armistice Commission, which was charged with policing the cease-fire, but the UN did nothing to stop Syria’s aggression — even a mild Security Council resolution expressing “regret” for such incidents was vetoed by the Soviet Union. Meanwhile, Israel was condemned by the United Nations when it retaliated.
What other country is told to give back land it won fair and square in a war that it didn’t start? The UN also wanted to make Jerusalem a “international city”. But not allow Jerusalem to be Israel’s capital. Try that with the Germans and Berlin, or the French and Paris!
Moshe Dayan’s mistake still haunts us. Is the Temple Mount really in our hands? This year Jerusalem day came during the month of Ramadam. During Ramadan non-muslims are not allowed on the Temple Mount. But this year the Police did allow a few Jews to ascend the Temple Mount, but only on Jerusalem day. After Jerusalem day they closed it to non-muslims.
The late Rabbi Kahane points out, it isn’t really in our hands, is it?
In this day and age I also think what John Wayne’s character was saying at the end of the clip is equally true. Stand up. Stand up and be counted. In this day and age of BDS-BS and falestinians and biased news reporting. The answer is stand up.
Well, the 14th is recognized as Israeli Independence day יום העצמאות, Yom HaAtzmaut and in 1948 the 5th of Iyar was. This year it was not, this year it was the 10th of May. I was fortunate enough to be at a table in my local JCC, nope I wasn’t eating. The Shaliach (emissary from the Jewish Federation) asked if I would like to teach about Israel at Yom HaAtzmaut. Oh yes! YES!! What did he want me to teach, since I am pretty sure there are far better qualified, though perhaps not more enthusiastic. I ended up having a table with a map and some post cards from Israel dating back to the 60s and 70s, as well as some of my own photos. I have an idea for a presentation I would like to work up and have on hand for the future. I called my presentation “Israel Past and Present”. I met some very interesting people, and had a great time. I loved it, just loved it.
In my Hebrew class we learn all kinds of things, and in one lesson my teacher who grew up on a Kibbutz was teaching us a song that was in our school book. It’s called Boker Boker Ba. It means “Morning morning comes”.
It you want a real treat you can listen to this one, I think she said it was recorded on a Kibbutz. The words of the song are basically about celebrating morning coming because they were going off to work on the kibbutz, lunch was for a meal, evening was to rest and at night they assembled. She explained that they were just so glad to have land of their own, that they couldn’t wait to get up of a morning to go work it. I might mention in a kibbutz no one actually owns land, it’s owned by the kibbutz. Many of the Jews that came to Israel came from communist and socialist counties where they hadn’t been allowed to own land, and they were used to the big government where no one owns anything. It’s all property of the state. I understand the feeling. Having land that you love, that you want to work and don’t want to lose. I get it. They are the Israeli version of Scarlett O’Hara,
It’s the land Katie Scarlett, it’s the land~~Gerald O’Hara
So, according to the Falestinian lip flapper, no, not sarsour, the other one, tlaib, those Jews coming after the Holocaust are among the first Jews in Israel. Tlaib #AntisemiticLiar and omar #AntisemiticLiar seem to be having a contest as to who can spout the most outrageous lies, then claim persecuted victim status the quickest. This last week I guess it was tlaib. One of my favorite writers, Jack Engelhard has picked up on their pattern.
‘There’s always kind of a calming feeling I tell folks when I think of the Holocaust, and the tragedy of the Holocaust, and the fact that it was my ancestors, Palestinians, who lost their land and some lost their lives, their livelihood, their human dignity, their existence in many ways, have been wiped out, and some people’s passports. I mean, just all of it was in the name of trying to create a safe haven for Jews, post-the Holocaust, post-the tragedy and the horrific persecution of Jews across the world at that time, and I love the fact that it was my ancestors that provided that, right, in many ways. But they did it in a way that took their human dignity away, right, and it was forced on them.’”
The first wave, known as the “First Aliyah,” took place prior to political Zionism, in the late 1800s….
The Second Aliyah , prior to World War I, ….
After World War I and until 1923, the Third Aliyah came to Israel. …
The Fourth Aliyah, which took place over a short period of time from 1924 to 1929,….
The Fifth Aliyah coincided with the rise of Nazism in Germany and extreme nationalism across Eastern Europe
And just who were the Jews that came prior to WWII buying the land from? The Ottoman Turks. Who didn’t want to sell it to them, and made it very difficult legally for them to buy land, that did ease up later. So what were the arabs doing in Israel prior to the Jews buying the land? They didn’t own the land, they worked it for the Turks. The Ottoman census of 1875 has Jews listed as the population majority of Jerusalem, by 1905 Jews made up two thirds of the population majority of Jerusalem. This has a lot of interesting goodies.
So tlaib shoots off her ignorance, and shares her comforting feelings about the Holocaust and Republicans including President Trump are outraged. Steny Hoyer and San Fran Nancy Pelosi were outraged as well, outraged I say! At Republicans and President Trump, not tlaib, her they stood up for.
Predictably, tlaib rushed to get her “victimhood prize” happy meal.
Shall I say it again? Demoncrats are not our friends. Need I point out that the arabs collaborated with hitler? History doesn’t appear to be tlaib’s strong suit.
”President Truman, by granting immediate recognition to Israel, led the world in extending friendship and welcome to a people who have long sought and justly deserve freedom and independence.
We pledge full recognition to the State of Israel.
Yes, some arabs may have rescued Jews at different time. But I have a feeling these Jews experienced the “rescue” of tlaib’s family.
Hevron & Safed riots
There were riots in Israel in 1929, for example in Hevron (and here) and Safed. Long before 1948 when she was attacked by the five arab nations at once after Ben-Gurion declared statehood. These things were easy to pull off because the British didn’t allow the Jews to have guns. The arabs? Whatever.
Map of attack on Israel 1948
It’s not that way today. The British don’t control Israel, and the people are less helpless. Though gun control for citizens is not good and until Moshe Feiglin is Prime Minister that is not likely to change. Maybe in a couple of years.

You may remember one of my heroes Ari Fuld was killed not long ago. His brother Hillel put out a statement that fellow writer Y.B. ben Avraham shared with me.
Hillel Fuld’s post about Ari
And so it is.
Jews. Guns. No compromise. No surrender.
