How many remember Mark and Patricia McCloskey? The St. Louis couple, both lawyers, that lived in a nice historic home with their dog in a gated neighborhood in St. Louis? Black Lives Matter broke the gate (it appeared to be wrought iron to me) and surged into the neighborhood apparently spreading their message of freedom by threatening violence against some home owners. Apparently the McCloskeys both felt threatened, no word from their dog, but the mob did threaten it’s life. Like all good freedom fighters, they feel threatening to kill an innocent dog shows their commitment to ending oppression, or something or other. So, after being under attack by corrupt Demoncrat Cori Bush, the McCloskeys were then under attack by corrupt Soros funded St. Louis Circuit Attorney (prosecuting attorney) Kim Gardner. So now that you know who Mark McCloskey is, I’d like to introduce Lucas Kunce, he’s a Demoncrat running against popular Missouri Senator Josh Hawley in this election cycle. Now why would I be dinging the obviously so helpful Lucas Kunce, well, he’s a Demoncrat and he’s talking about guns, so that’s enough to be starting with, but yes, there’s more.
Apparently Kunce gave one of the Marine led “gun safety” classes to his bestie Adam Kinzinger…yes, the lying crying twerp from the J6 committee, during a campaign event. Apparently “some” of his 13 year experience in the Marines left his head as he is, as I’ve pointed out, a demoncrat.

I guess when you shoot at steel targets from 10 feet away, you get something called “shrapnel”. Said shrapnel can fly off to hit remote and uninvolved targets, like the reporter there covering the event. Which it did. The reporter sustained a wound to his arm which Kunce bandaged.

But Kunce expressed his sincere remorse and regret on Twitter/X

But as that well respected (in comparison to the NY Slimes, Washington (Com) Post and the like) the Babylon Bee rightly points out, it’s time for “Common Sense Democrat Control”.

Gun owners across the nation were appalled at the photographs from the scene of the latest incident, lambasting the dangers of letting Democrats near guns. “It’s like giving a big, very dumb baby a rifle,” said Hartfield. “I take that back. Unlike these bozos, a baby wouldn’t put tannerite explosives on the table in front of them, right in the shrapnel zone where it could ignite and kill everyone. Look, you won’t find anyone more pro-gun than me, but this is like giving a drunk puppy a hand grenade.”

Why is it, that demoncrats running for office attempt to deceive voters by using their military service to claim they are pro-gun, and have extensive firearms experience with “weapons of war” and then attempt to convince people that they used a semi-automatic sporting rifle in a combat zone? They then try to parlay this “experience” into calling for restrictions on the rights of law abiding gun owners? Tim Walz, Lucas Kunce, the crap just flows all the way down doesn’t it?

So, I would like to put forth two modest proposals. In a slight addition to the Babylon Bee’s most excellent suggestion, I would propose “No demoncrat is ever again to be allowed to vote on any kind of weapons legislation” Guns, knives, bows, any and all of it is off the voting table for a demoncrat. My second suggestion will help recover some of the taxpayer money demoncrats have squandered under the Biden-Harris crime junta. No taxpayer funded for security for any demoncrat politician. They are just fine with legislating a state of defenselessness for their constituents, so it’s obviously fine for them as well. If in their view, its fine for the people that pay their salary to be legislated out of rights, then it should be fine for them. Simple, cheap and saves us money. I would add one small bit to that last part. Any Republican that votes for “citizen control” which is what gun control is, no taxpayer funded security for them either. It’s only fair.

Maybe next time Lucas Kunce and Adam Kinzinger can get go get a nice pedicure instead. Safer for everyone all around that way.

Details Matter: Okeechobee Emergency Gun Ban

Regulars readers probably already know about this. Prior to Hurricane Helene, Okeechobee Police Chief Donald Hagan declared an emergency and banned the sale of firearms and ammunition, and the public carry of firearms by non-law enforcement.

Since Florida has state preemption of firearms regulation, sane people found this… problematical.

Now the chief and town are scrambling to cover their posteriors. That little error could cost those involved $5,000 apiece, and not out of taxpayers’ pockets.

Fumero’s boss, Okeechobee Mayor Dowling R. Watford, Jr. and police spokesman Detective Jarret Romanello, gave numerous interviews to local media claiming city officials were reviewing the entire incident to determine how the “mistake” occurred.

As it happens, I can help them with that.

The chief’s declaration cited Florida Statute 870.044:

Automatic emergency measures.—Whenever the public official declares that a state of emergency exists, pursuant to s. 870.043, the following acts shall be prohibited during the period of said emergency throughout the jurisdiction:
(1) The sale of, or offer to sell, with or without consideration, any ammunition or gun or other firearm of any size or description.
(2) The intentional display, after the emergency is declared, by or in any store or shop of any ammunition or gun or other firearm of any size or description.
(3) The intentional possession in a public place of a firearm by any person, except a duly authorized law enforcement official or person in military service acting in the official performance of her or his duty.

He took the ban language straight from that statute. And if that’s all you look at, you might think — as the idiot obviously did — that 870.044 gave him that authority. A declared emergency, right?

But he missed that little “pursuant to s. 870.043”. Sure, there was a weather related emergency; but what sort of emergency does 870.043 cover?

Declaration of emergency.—Whenever the sheriff or designated city official determines that there has been an act of violence or a flagrant and substantial defiance of, or resistance to, a lawful exercise of public authority and that, on account thereof, there is reason to believe that there exists a clear and present danger of a riot or other general public disorder, widespread disobedience of the law, and substantial injury to persons or to property, all of which constitute an imminent threat to public peace or order and to the general welfare of the jurisdiction affected or a part or parts thereof, he or she may declare that a state of emergency exists within that jurisdiction or any part or parts thereof.

Riots, civil disorder, mass violence. Nothing in there about tropical cyclones. Oopsie, chief.

The Devastation of the Hurricane

No, actually I don’t mean Helene, although that has been horrific, and continues to be. No I mean the devastation caused by Kamala. Not only has it affected those that were in the path of Helene, but the whole country. But the federal governments response to the hurricane as put into action the old Ronald Reagan saying “I’m from the government and I’m hear to help you”. Truly terrifying words.

Let’s just examine a few of the government actions you may or not be aware of.

Yes, this would be the same FCC that is fast tracking George Soros’s takeover of 200 radio stations in the U.S. Many of those carry conservative talk shows. Yes, that FCC.

He’s not the only one that ran into trouble with FEMA over doing rescues. Anyone remember Tim Kennedy from the docu-drama “Hunting Hitler”? Former army ranger, involved with Saving Our Allies and currently involved in rescue efforts from the hurricane and DEI hire Deanne Criswell’s FEMA. FEMA is leaving no room for survivors. As they did in Lahania, they take up all the hotel rooms and then do nothing to help.

You have to love on the ground citizens that are in the right place at the right time to overhear interesting things. One rescue worker was in an airport to pick up pediatric supplies and they were sitting in a private area where there were a bunch of Army and Navy pilots. A private jet came in carry FOUR whole FEMA workers. However did they get that many onto a private jet? But I digress, a private hospital in Ashville has been told they are going to be the morgue, for body recovery. All the Chinooks there are doing body recovery. FEMA said in this conversation in a private area that they are too tied up at the border to send anymore representatives. They are not sending refrigerated trucks for the bodies. A private hospital, and the army are doing body recovery. They said however many you hear on the death count? Add a couple of zeros to it for a more accurate body count. They said private pilots are citizens are the ones bringing in all the supplies. When they went to pick up their supplies there were piles of supplies awaiting the Cajun Navy, ASPCA and several other citizen groups. They’re the ones doing the work.

But this makes sense, because Kamala wants disaster relief to be based on race. So apparently there are too many whites in this area to rank higher than the border.

Goal 1 of FEMA’s Strategic Plan was to “instill equity as a foundation of emergency management”. FEMA’s Objective 1.1 was also not disaster management, it’s to “cultivate a FEMA that prioritizes and harnesses a diverse workforce”.

FEMA’s leadership was required to make its priority “integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion in delivering the agency’s mission.”

Leading the way in implementing FEMA’s new ideological disaster management was Vice President Kamala Harris who claimed that she had started one of the “first environmental justice units of any DA’s office” when she helped turn San Francisco into a crime zone, and claimed that it’s “communities of color that are most impacted by” weather and natural disasters.

Kamala then argued that “we have to address this in a way that is about giving resources based on equity” so that minorities would be first in line for aid regardless of who has the greater need.

DEI hire Deanne Criswell says people need to stop saying bad things about FEMA workers, it’s dangerous and it’s hurting their feelings and moral. Wow, just wow.

Sounding Warnings

Tonight Rosh HaShanah begins. It is a time we celebrate the beginning of the universe, the day G‑d created Adam and Eve, and it’s celebrated as the Jewish New Year. Part of the celebration, involves the sounding of the shofar. One reason the shofar is sounded is as a warning, the ten days of repentance are beginning.

I’ve been thinking a lot of about the sounding of warnings. Especially as Israel has been under attack from so many directions for so long. Some openly like the Iranian puppets like Hezbollah and Hamass, some more covertly like the Biden-Harris junta constantly calling for ceasefires as restraints just as Israel begins to gain an upper hand, or withholding military aid approved by congress. If the Biden-Harris crime regime really cared about the Arabs living in Gaza they’d allow the IDF to finish the job and liberate the civilians from the clutches of Hamass and relocate them to safety. In another Arabic speaking, muslim religion country. Who knows, there might already be a branch of the same hamass they elected already in that country. They’ll be immediately at home. Win-win, right? In Israel, since the 7th of October 2023 the rocket attacks on Israel have been basically non-stop. A siren will sound, and most folks have apps on their phone warning them of an incoming rocket, they then have 15 seconds, maybe, to seek shelter from the incoming rockets. They can buy a lot of them now, since the Biden-Harris junta unfroze the assets President Trump had tied up. But the sounding of that alarm is crucial, being given advance warning of an impending attack is vital to preservation of life. I can’t imagine living that way every day, for almost a year now.

In America, we too have ways of communicating a warning of danger. Some might call it “the news” and I would probably ask them to explain further. If anyone had any questions as to whether or not the mainstream media honestly reports they news, or has any honesty, the vice presidential debate tonight should have quashed that. It was again 3 to 1, the 1 being J.D. Vance doing what I felt was an excellent job of debating Tampon Timmy Walz, Norah O’Donnell and some other chick.

If anything, since 2020 the rise of independent journalism has exploded as more and more people figured out the mainstream (or lamestream) media just repeated their assigned talking points and had long since ceased to report actual news. With the creation of GAB, MeWe and Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter, now X, regular people could begin to get real news, real events into the public knowledge base. Websites like The Gateway Pundit, Conservative Tree house, Breitbart and independent bloggers broke news the mainstream media tried to cover up like Hunter’s laptop and cocaine in the White House. Also big on the dissemination of information front are podcasts and radio shows, the radio shows being free usually and with streaming internet many can hear them on their computers or cellphones. When it came to light that many of Lyndon Johnson’s voters were in fact dead, courtesy of a Christian news station, Johnson enacted laws to shut that source of information down. It wasn’t until Reagan’s term that the rule was overturned and the rise of conservative radio talk shows took off. With people like the late Rush Limbaugh, and Alex Jones, and many others leading the way the public had access to information that the mainstream media tried to hide.

For instance, I’m pretty sure the left may not be so happy to discover there are consequences to their big push to defund the police. Now normal sane people have no desire to serve their communities in that profession. And not surprisingly, people aren’t happy about living in crime ridden places, so what to do? Oh, of course, in a decision that would make sense only to a brain addled leftist the answer is give guns to illegal invaders and give them power over American citizens. In Minneapolis, home of the George Floyd riots which lead to “defund the police” and the criminals were bailed out by Kamala Harris and supported by her now running mate, Tampon Timmy, they have now hired an illegal invader from Somalia to be a police officer. I’d say he was right a lot of the time.

The left is all about control, of people, speech, medicine, drugs, schools and certainly guns. With elections a little over a month away, and the world spinning, George Soros and his allies (left and right) want to silence the warning blasts that talk radio very often sounds. For their evil plots to succeed they need secrecy and they can’t afford to be exposed. After all, people might heed the warning blasts they hear.
