Replace the cake with something absolutely vital to human life, such as breathing. What kind of “compromise” is “reasonable” that restricts or damages your ability to breathe?
The authority of all human beings (indeed, all life) to defend themselves and others is exactly like breathing.
Sorry, mama, on this one I just have to disagree.
Cake is also absolutely vital to human life.
Couldn’t help it. I agree that all compromise since the 1934 act and probably before that has been a mistake by freedom lovers everywhere.
Not only no, but hell no. In fact, if there is anyway to start walking things back, we have a personal responsibility to do so.
I couldn’t help the cake comment. I’m weird like that.
I agree with pigpen. Cake is ABSOLUTELY VITAL… Well, to MY life anyway! 😉

If only Adam Lanza, James Holmes, Dylan Roof, Robert Lewis Dear, Seung-Hui Cho, Jared Loughner, Aaron Alexis and many other mass shooters had been packing cake.
If only some people understood the meaning of “metaphor.”
