With unruly demonstrations in Portland nearing the 100-day mark, Oregon Gov. Kate Brown and other Democratic leaders on Thursday called for an end to violence even as federal agents were continuing to arrest protesters who allegedly assaulted law enforcement officers.
“The violence must stop,” Brown wrote. “There is no place for white supremacy or vigilantism in Oregon. All who perpetrate violent crimes must be held equally accountable.”
The statement does not single out the small minority of left-wing protesters who have been setting fires, vandalizing buildings and throwing objects at police. Brown’s spokesman, Charles Boyle, said it “is a collective call to action for an end to violence in Portland and affirms that those who commit violent acts must be held accountable.”

To some, and I believe the majority, if not entirety, of the left there is no real right or wrong, no good and bad or evil. Evil is what ever they choose to say it is, for right now. But some of the left’s absence of morals has become the “new normal”. The “new normal” where they get to decide who, and who’s life matters.
I’m not sure which of the reasons was compelling enough for “Judge” Amy Baggio to let this guy loose. The times he didn’t show up in court, didn’t pay his fines, was driving 111 mph with his daughter in the car as he was racing his son on the freeway who was driving another car. Whichever of those reasons “Judge” Amy found compelling enough, she set him free to go kill. Does that make her an accessory?

The driver hits the gas and tries to escape, the terrorist fires through the rear window as another armed terrorist joins the fray from the opposite side of the street. According to local media, police are determining whether to charge the driver of the vehicle for not complying with the mob’s demand for the beating; thereby putting the other terrorists at risk. “It’s unclear if the driver of the SUV who was shot is facing any possible charge for driving through the protesters after being shot.”
I’m sad this is even a tiny conundrum for the police, because it really shouldn’t be. Portland rioter Phillip Lawrence Nelson was arrested for a double murder just one week after Portland officials let him out of jail for interfering with a peace officer. The rioting charges were dismissed and he was out on the street the next day. One week later he committed a double murder.
