What would King David do?

As information comes out about the pogrom/atrocities/murders/slaughters I am filled with rage, alternating with anger, alternating with sorrow, alternating with exhaustion. So hopefully you will forgive what’s probably going to be a more disjointed that usual column. But I have to. I just do.

Part of the anger comes from watching the response of the world. The same countries that in the UN condemn Israel for nothing, now have their buildings lit up with blue and white. Yay you. Let’s see how long it lasts. Before long, the media will begin their inevitable spin. I’ve heard some already, there were no decapitated babies and children. Yeah? About 40 of them, Kfar Aza. It is unusual for the IDF to allow journalists access to such a site, and in one report I saw there was still active fighting going in parts of Kfar Aza. I did an image search on Freespoke, and it looks like many of the captions were in French. Which may account for when the muslims in France rioted in the last couple days the French police put it down hard and quick. Maybe the French are catching on to what happens, I dunno. But journalists that were there DO have photographic proof, the MSM is refusing to air it. The MSM just blathers on about “unconfirmed” “no proof”. Yeah, yeah, there is you deceptive sewer scum. That was the point of the IDF letting them in. As in WWII, when Omar Bradley said:

It is the desire of the Theater Commander that both still and moving pictures be utilized to the fullest extent practicable as exhibits in reports of investigations of war crimes committed by the Nazis with particular reference to Allied prisoners of war both in and out of camps and to concentration camps for the purpose of recording for civilization the history of horror written by over five years of German atrocities.”

As did Dwight D. Eisenhower

I visited every nook and cranny of the camp because I felt it my duty to be in a position from then on to testify at first hand about these things in case there ever grew up at home the belief or assumption that `the stories of Nazi brutality were just propaganda.’ Some members of the visiting party were unable to through the ordeal. I not only did so but as soon as I returned to Patton’s headquarters that evening I sent communications to both Washington and London, urging the two governments to send instantly to Germany a random group of newspaper editors and representative groups from the national legislatures. I felt that the evidence should be immediately placed before the American and British publics in a fashion that would leave no room for cynical doubt.”

The nazis tried to hide their crimes, hamass livestreams theirs. They’re proud of what they’re doing. They expect the world to rejoice with them.

The state of Israel is our hope of preventing another holocaust. We need to do more than hope.

For now, this wiki article on the Kfar Aza seems to be fairly accurate. One report I heard said many of the dead that were killed initially were the more right wing that had guns and were trying to protect the more naive who didn’t own guns. Kibbutz Be’eri is a kibbutz located in the Gaza periphery since 1946. Its members are generally on the secular left, and it includes many peace activists. There were 250 people living there before, not sure how many are left, many are dead, some have been taken hostage.

See, it’s hard to know the actual numbers of the dead. You aren’t “dead” until your body is given a number. And some of the bodies are hard to get to, even though they can be seen. Some of the rooms in the Kibbutzim have been booby trapped. As have the bodies, where grenades have been placed inside the bodies. So in some of these places you have to have sappers come clear things before you can get the body, and then you can give it a number. This is part of why the death toll is rising slowly.

Happily this was not the way it turned out in every Kibbutz though. From a message on my Zehut group,

As I type this, Hezbollah terrorists have begun entering Israeli air spacewith gliders from Lebanon. God help them. IDF has deployed over 10K troops to the north. Like I said to MPs, I’m afraid of full scale incursion from Lebanon will occur as soon as the IDF begins its ground invasion of Gaza.

Meanwhile, the Israeli government has suspended it’s gun control policies indefinitely and began issuing permits to all applicants who are Israeli citizens and not Islamic.

On Saturday, female Israeli citizen Inbal Lieberman of Kibbutz Nir Am killed six Hamas terrorists with her AR-15 by herself, and organized her kibbutz residents to fight. They turned the kibbutz into a fortress as she issued weapons and in total killed a dozen Muslims. Because of this incident, Israel is going full 2A.

US Special Forces have now arrived in Israel, probably to coordinate rescue of US citizens kidnapped by Hamas. Pray.

If every citizen had an AR-15 with an adequate capacity magazine…

I mentioned in my previous column that Itamar Ben-Gvir has dropped mountains of gun control laws and is arming citizens. Had they done this years ago as Rabbi Kahane suggested (every Jew a .22) , as Moshe Feiglin suggested this might not have happened. But who knows? I don’t have a crystal ball.

Apparently former PM Naftali Bennett is wising up. Bennett to govt: Give Israeli towns and cities guns now

Former PM says it was armed local groups of citizens who were the most successful in fighting off Hamas invaders on Saturday.

Yeah, I’m sure that’s true. But I doubt Francistan or Germany will pay attention. Till it’s too late anyway.

And about the US Special Forces arriving to rescue US citizens. Perhaps I should just point out, for Americans hoping their government will get them out…..

Biden Regime Is Forcing Americans Trapped in Israel to Sign Promissory Notes to Repay All Travel Costs If They Decide to Be Rescued by US Government

“While Poland, Hungary, Brazil, Romania, and other countries sent planes to bring their citizens home from the war zone, our government told us to fend for ourselves,” wrote Yitz Friedman.

And as long as I’m whinging about the US government, I understand Winkin (Lloyd Austin) Blinkin (Blinken) are already in Israel. The only one missing is Nod (Beijing Biden). My hunch and fear is they are not there to support Israel, they are there to rein Israel in. After a discrete period of time, of course. Say, oh, about 3 days? Maybe less. See the Xiden junta is allied with China, China gave Beijing Biden lots and lots of money. And Beijing is backing the terrorists.

CCP Is ‘Fully Supporting’ Palestinians Amid Israel-Hamas War

The Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) reaction to the deadly attack on Israel by the Hamas terrorists revealed that it’s on the side of Palestine, according to Gordan Chang, author of “The Coming Collapse of China” and “China Is Going to War.”

On Sunday, China’s foreign ministry issued its first statement, expressing its deep concerns about the “escalation of tensions and violence between Palestine and Israel.” Without naming Hamas, the ministry’s spokesperson urged “relevant parties” to “remain calm, exercise restraint, and immediately end the hostilities.”

How’s about “HELL NO”. How do you remain calm among decapitated babies and children? Dead mothers with their unborn children cut out of them and the bodies left laying the the umbilical cord hooking them together? With abducted children, women, elderly? One hamass terrorist that was caught very freely admitted when asked why they kidnapped women and children, they aren’t soldiers after all, it was to rape them.

I wrote about some of the atrocities committed by the arabs in Huwara not long ago, the arabs there kill Jews almost any chance they get. They aren’t really afraid of the IDF you see, the IDF, like the American military is mostly controlled at the top by a leftist mentality. Or the lack thereof. You know who the arabs in Huwara are afraid of? The Jews in nearby cities. Those aren’t leftist Jews living in Judea and Samaria on the whole. Of course the UN was outraged by the arab attacks against innocent Jews driving on the road in their car, or in the town. Oh, sorry, my mistake. UN lashes Israel for Huwara settler violence after terror shooting

Nope, the UN was dead silent about the murder of Jews. But the Israelis in nearby towns had flat had enough. Which is partly why I don’t expect the support from “the world” to last too long.

So what brings up Huwara again? In my previous column there was a video clip of an elderly woman that has been kidnapped by hamass making a “Victory” sign as an hamass dropping stood next to her. Well, her image showed up in an ad for pizza in Huwara as they celebrate the massacre of the Jews.

This poor lady…
These creatures are sub-animal.

But this time, this time I have something delightful for you, really!!

The Honenu legal aid organization sent an urgent letter to the IDF asking the shop be shut down. The owner had been in legal trouble before, several years before he had seriously injured a boy from Yitzhar with a rock, but was released due to lack of evidence.

You won’t have time for popcorn, but this is delightful none the less. This is the IDF destroying the store. Not a room, not just the window. The store.

You know, if the IDF had been this hard line years ago…..but again, look at who top leadership are. For now, I’ll just savor.

In America, the left is showing their true colors. For those parents who have sacrificed to send their little darlings to a “good university” here’s what you sacrifice has gotten you.

University of Wisconsin Students Cheer Hamas Killers – Chant “Glory to the Martyrs!” at Pro-Palestinian Student Protest after Hamas Terrorists Slaughter Over 1,000 Jews

Hamas calls for global ‘mobilization’ on Oct. 13

An official statement from the Hamas terrorist organization and comments from a former Hamas leader—both calling for global mobilization against Israel this Friday, Oct. 13—are raising alarm at Jewish organizations and among those who monitor the Middle East.

The real threat here is that there is no way of knowing who, if anyone, will take up the call or if there are pre-planned actions already staged elsewhere in the world just waiting for the greenlight,” according to James Carafano, a fellow at the Heritage Foundation and senior counselor to its president.

Boy, I’m sure glad we don’t have any of those peaceful falestinians in America! And the ones we do have the obiden junta can keep an eye on them!

But the shop former shop in Huwara may not be the only place that is finally going to earn the results it deserves. For all those leftists such as BLM and antifa that have rampaged with no consequences, thought that they could do anything without consequences, perhaps something is changing.

Elon Musk refuse to let BLM off the hook when they attempted to backtrack ‘Your Position Is Clear’: Musk Responds to Black Lives Matter Pro-Palestine Posts After Hamas Attacks

But some of the future BLM/antifa jihadi students are beginning to re-think their signing of a petition blaming Israel for all the dead Jewish families. Not because they object to the atrocities you understand, oh no, not that. But because it could affect their future job opportunities…The suffering of others and compassion for them doesn’t exist on the left.

Student Groups at Harvard Starting to Think Maybe it Was a Bad Idea to Sign Letter Blaming Israel for Hamas Attack

The backtracking is all about jobs. People want to know who these students are so that they won’t hire them.

And this “Harvard Law Student” obviously is deeply, deeply concerned about the people that were trapped in the “safe rooms” of their houses hearing their neighbors slaughtered and could do nothing, the families that were wiped out because they were Jewish. See, some of those black and brown people BLM is always yammering on about protecting and caring about? Well, some of those black and brown people in Israel were Jewish. Black and brown people killed by arabs. And BLM supports their killers. But back to my point about the Harvard law student, it seems some CEOs not being mush headed college students and looking at the letters the aforementioned mush headed college students signed blaming Israel for hamass attacking them. And decided “Nope, nopitty nope nope. Not hiring these immoral and amoral thugs”. So what distresses Harvard law student? Not the suffering of the victims, nope the “harassment” by CEOs wanting to know who signed the letter because they don’t want to hire them. Wow.

a flawed view of harassment I’d say

And what are the future terrorist falestinian children learning in school? Oh, same thing.

Jack Engelhard has a good column up on why hamass did it. Why did Hamas start a war they knew they would lose?

Simply, they put no value on human life, not for others and not for themselves. They are a death cult.

It’s reminiscent of Golda Meir.

The Jews are concerned about life, even the abandoned dogs in the south.

And the Orthodox Jews of Chabad showing up in war zones to cheer and encourage the Israeli soldiers. I’d say they succeeded. I adore this clip! Adore it!!

But I want to basically end with looking further back in Israeli history that Golda, I want to look back to King David.

And last from Tamar’s post about & ‘ !

Think like a true, proud, and HEALTHY Jew. Ask yourself, what would G-d’s beloved King David do if he were facing enemies committing these atrocities against Israel? We know what the answer correct answer is:’Eat them for lunch, before they eat YOU for dinner.”King David would never kick the can down the road regarding a terror entity and the slaughtering of his citizens. As a ‘just’ king, he would never tolerate decades of murderous attacks against his people. King David wouldn’t try to ‘contain’ the terror, or ‘manage it’ as our leadership has done for decades. No. We all know what King David would do.

As he wrote in Psalm 18:

*verse 38) I will pursue my enemies and overtake them, never turning back until they are consumed.*

*v39) I will crush them so that they cannot rise; yea, until they have fallen under my feet.*

*v40) For You have girded me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me, those that rose up against me.*

*v41) And of my enemies, You have given me the back of their necks; those that hate me, that I may cut them off.*

As for many of us lately living in a state of fear,…folks, *switch your thinking, and make THEM, afraid of US!*

! And let’s do what King David would do – eliminate these monsters once and for all!

I’ve been asked by people how can they help. So I’ll give you some different choices.

This page has links to several different well known Israeli aid groups.

And Kol Haolam Kulo–The quote is from Rabbi Nachman of Breslov. “All the world is a narrow bridge and the most important thing is to not be afraid.”

The visitors from Chabad showed the power of song to inspire and encourage, I will attempt to do the same. The big mercy is I’m not the one singing it to you.

At the close of Hannukah, and other things

After reading the comments on the last column, and different things I’ve listened to, or read the last couple of days, there is one more column left for Hannukah 2022. Again, I have no explanation, it’s just there and I’m sharing it. I promise, this is the last one (I’m pretty sure because this was the last day of Hannukah).

Before the actual battles of Hannukah, which attempted to eradicate the Jewish presence there was the spiritual battle to eradicate the Jewish presence. Not by killing the people, which came later, but by killing Judaism. I probably should have put a trigger warning on this column, so consider this it. Not the first time I’ve grabbed the 3rd rail.

This is where I think we are now. In the part where “The World” tries to eliminate religion, and this time it’s the presence of G-d. I would maintain the world has always tried to eliminate the Jews because they were the ones that were tasked with bringing the knowledge of G-d into the world. As people we have free choice, free will. We can choose to pick the things of pleasure and short term gratification in the world, or we can choose to follow the laws of G-d and his plan for a beautiful world. It’s like looking at architecture plans to me, I don’t read them so I can’t see how they work to make a beautiful building until much of it is in built and in place. But the plans were laid it out all along. Yes, that deck off the 2nd floor bed room sounds like a great idea and like lots of fun, especially when the hot tub was added in, but if the original plans didn’t account for it and the support for it wasn’t there in the plans, it won’t play out well. The same with how choosing what seems like a pleasurable choice at the time, may have consequences. Be it three pieces of fudge truffle cheesecake or a third beer or the junk Hollyweird puts out. But if only good is offered or available, how is that free will? Our fight with our more carnal desires allows us to sharpen our spiritual ones.

The battle today is “The World” against traditional families. A girlfriend and I were texting the other day and she made a comment of something her grandma used to say; as the family goes, so goes the country. I think it takes about 1 second to see that Hollyweird and mainstream media have had the traditional (according to G-d’s plan) family under attack for years. We’ve never had such gender confusion in our children, we’ve not seen women discriminated against openly for years until the trans-woman became far more important that stock from the factory woman. For evidence I only need point to the man swimming as a woman Lea Thomas because he’s such a loser he couldn’t succeed as man so he chose and easier way. When women have showed up to protest against things like men in women’s changing rooms they’ve been physically attacked by trans women. And apparently that’s fine because there is no outrage. But their fight isn’t with me, it’s with G-d.

I became suspicious of the sudden switch of the media from covid covid covid death death death vax vax vax to Ukraine Ukraine Ukraine very early on, because it was following the same pattern. As I’ve mentioned more than once, the citizens of the Donbas voted to rejoin Russia with darn good reason, more than once they’ve voted like that. And while “The World” and the U.S. media simper on about rigged elections I think the coverage of the faux elections in Arizona and the resulting lawsuits should pretty much stamped paid to any credibility to that claim. They could care less about the honesty of elections. The Donbas voted with paper ballots into clear cubes so people could see what was put in. I realize counting is a question, but monitors on the ground have said it was run better than U.S. elections. I know, that doesn’t take much these days. So is a first grade raffle. Run by the students. We’re coming back to this shortly.

“A war with mother nature”: the winter storm which hits the United States recalls the “1977 blizzard”

For the moment 32 dead are to be deplored in 8 states and the authorities fear a heavier toll in the future.

Tens of thousands of Americans were without power this Christmas Eve weekend.

Rescuers fear that some may be trapped in their vehicle.

The Governor of New York State compared the climatic situation in which the country finds itself with that experienced during the devastating “Blizzard” of 1977. In her speech, Kathy Hochul called on her citizens to fight one more day against this cold mortal.

We are at war.

It’s a war with mother nature,” insisted the Governor.

No, you stupid cow, it’s citizens being attacked by bad leftist policies. US Utilities Impose Blackouts, Issue Warnings Over Deep Freeze Power Grid Strain

A number of U.S. utility companies called on customers to conserve electricity due to frigid weather on Saturday and Sunday.

Con Edison, which serves the New York City metropolitan area, asked its 1.1 million natural gas, 3.5 million electric, and other customers in New York City to conserve power. Temperatures in the Big Apple plunged to about 15 degrees F overnight on Saturday and Sunday morning.

So, how are those windmills and solar panels from China that the Biden crime regime are trying to force us into working out? Oh, it says, 32 dead, so far. I’m truly fearful for working families, commuters, the elderly and people on fixed income. And obviously, don’t travel in bad weather without extra warm gear in the car.

People freezing to death in their cars. NEVER drive in places like this without trunk gear that includes serious wool from head to toe, and serious sleeping bags in the trunk. For every person we read about who died, a lot more will have lost body-parts to frostbite. Slowly freezing to death is one of the worst ways to go.

War with Mother Nature? I’ll pass. Live with Mother Nature — get 100% wool, and down sleeping bags if you can afford. The best warm-gear is still made by Mother Nature and cannot be mass produced so costs a little more, but is worth it.~~ Michael Yon

The other thing that I think is going to come into play as well as the frigid weather, and decreased fuel availability and purposefully damaged supply chain (Pete Butt-edge-edge’s racist highways are being destroyed along with his other policies) that will lead to a shortage of needed medicine, fuel and food, is people’s immune systems.

The more you’ve been injected, the weaker your immune system is. But that’s not the only threat our specie faces from this military project called the experimental gene therapy injections.

As the Greek-Syrian empire forbid the teaching of Judaism, circumcision and observance of Shabbat and festivals so it couldn’t be passed on to the children of the next generation, today’s Greek-Syrians are preventing children. Another way of winning the war without firing a shot, just injecting one. It’s “safe and effective”. Their lord and savior Fauxci says so.

Censorship goes way back

https://twitter.com/thechiefnerd/status/1607435870164123648

Which brings me to my next point. Religion. As we discussed in my last column, there are woke in every brand of religion, and we discussed Judaism’s. But Christianity has their woke pastors as well. Someone sent me a meme of a “Woke Pastor” costume for halloween with white skinny jeans, I think a gold chain and maybe some CDs and a Starbucks cup with a picture of some kind of goddess on the front. I don’t think I saved the meme though. In the war for Independence, it was the Black Robe regiment that helped win the war. This is well worth listening to at about 10 minutes long.

Many of our nation’s laws came from G-d’s law, and woke spiritual leaders of every brand ignore and dismiss that. How are they fit to lead and teach? Our rights come from G-d, the politicians are to follow the Constitution which enumerates them and is to protect them, it doesn’t bestow them. G-d did. How are there to be good, healthy and moral families when the spiritual leaders as well as elected ones let us down and in fact attempt to deceive?

So back to Ukraine and Russia. My heart hurts for the Ukrainian people. They have been betrayed in the deepest sense of the word by so many.

Ukraine has been a money laundering operation for demoncrats and corrupt republican politicians for years. The CIA arranged regime change in Ukraine under Barry Sotero, and the U.S. has bio-weapons labs there that are funded by taxpayer dollars while they most assuredly do not want taxpayers to know what is going on in them. Zelensky is locking up political opponents, shutting down news media critical of him, shutting down and banning churches and their leaders and seizing their properties and demoncrats and worthless republicans jump for joy and call this democracy. Tells you about their mindset. All done with out tax money no less. The politicians of all nations and brands are more than willing to fight to the last drop of Ukrainian blood.

I find I often get news that is pertinent from other countries rather than American sources, so these next couple of sound clips come from Israel.

First, Zelenksy doesn’t take this “war” seriously. Oh yes, he takes the money, seriously, he takes lots and lots of American taxpayer dollars shelled out by human pieces of excrement like the murder turtle, Roy Blunt and Jerry Moron. Money taxpayers won’t have to pay for heat, food, or fuel. Money we won’t be spending on our border, because we are spending in Ukraine. Money we don’t have to pay our National Guard soldiers, because we are giving it to Ukraine. This war time situation is so serious, that Zelensky did an episode of Letterman, in Ukraine. But I’ll let you listen to part of this episode of “Lighten Up”. I’m trying to start it at 18:50 seconds into the show. The relevant part only goes to about 23:30, so not that long. But worth listening to their take.

So, how’s Ukraine handling their war? And this is just till November of last year.

Chronicle of undeclared Ukrainian aggression against NATO.

1. March 2 – Ukrainian S-300 air defense system destroyed a Romanian MiG-21 fighter. The pilot is dead.

2. March 2 – Ukrainian air defense shot down a Romanian military transport helicopter Mi-8, which flew out to look for a MiG-21 fighter shot down by Ukraine.

3. March 3 – Estonian bulk carrier Helt was blown up by a Ukrainian naval mine off the coast of Odessa. Four people are missing.

4. March 10 – Ukrainian UAV Tu-141 “Swift” attacked Zagreb. Luckily, no one died.

5. March 13 – Ukrainian Volkssturm shot down the car of an American journalist from the New York Times, Brent Reno, in the Irpen region, who, according to Iranian intelligence services, worked as a CIA officer in Iraq.

6. September 9 – a Romanian minesweeper was blown up by a Ukrainian naval mine near Constanta. Luckily, there were no fatalities.

7. November 9 – A Turkish boat was blown up by a Ukrainian naval mine off the coast of Turkey. Luckily, no one died.

8. November 15 – The Ukrainian S-300 air defense system attacked Poland, destroying 2 Polish citizens and a tractor trailer.

Under the guise of a war with Russia, Ukraine is waging a hybrid war against NATO!

Which bring us to my distrust of the attacks on Russia and Putin early on. For one, I’ve heard from more than one person that Putin has been decent (the comment good was used a couple of time) for the Jews. I have no personal knowledge, so that’s hearsay, but it’s hearsay from people that personally know. Human piece of excrement Lindsey Graham came flat out and said the war in Ukraine is about deposing Putin and regime change in Russia. No mention of what happens when someone else, and possibly less stable than Putin gains control of all those nukes.

You know, it’s fascinating. The Xiden regime is so worried about Israel electing what is suppose to be a right wing government. They’ve even tried to forbid certain Israeli politicians (whom I happen to like) from serving in the government. I guess they are afraid they might allow Jews to pray on the Temple Mount. Something which the courts have said is legal. The Xiden regime claims they are afraid Jews praying where the Holy Temple once stood, where G-d calls us to pray, will start a war. But the Xiden regime has no problem poking that big furry nuclear clad Russian bear directly by attacks on their pipeline or indirectly through their CIA puppet Zelensky.

But why? Why these attacks on Russia? Again, another Israeli podcast. This one covers some Hanukkah history you may (or not) have heard before, and of course it’s fascinating. But I especially think one of the comments made in the podcast have the answer to my question. It involves Christianity more than Judaism really, and Russia.

I’m trying to start this at 42:46 into the show.

This actually makes sense in a way to me. There has to be another reason other than “Putin bad”. Look, there’s lots of bad rulers out there. I’m sure many of them are supported by U.S. and put in place by the FIB and the CIA. But apparently, Russia is Christian, at least more so than many other nations. Is this what’s behind “The World” turning against Russia? We are in the spiritual battle of Hanukkah where the general shows up in Modi’in and demands they sacrifice an unclean animal on their alter. The spiritual battle before Mattias picks up his sword and says “Oh HELLinized NO”. The Judah battle came after.

REBEL! Fight back! Have strong, healthy loving families. Raise them with the principles of your faith, raise them to understand, not just recite strong conservative values. Think twice before you send them off to the communist creation centers known as college and university. Observe and love your family Shabbat/Sabbath. Pigpen, I have thought much about your comments on my last column. My idea of marriage was always a partnership. Someone with whom you had common goals, beliefs and principles, a moral compass if you will. Someone who picks up your weak points and you shore up theirs. Someone who can (though I’m sure it doesn’t always work out this way) be a safe port in the storm called life. Someone you want at your back. Your message was so beautiful, inspiring and clear. May G-d bless you and your family, even more. The dating advice my cousin gave me was “Pick someone you want at your back during the zombie apocalypse.” He said after seeing his wife at the range, he was convinced he had chosen well. Actually his advice isn’t far off or bad.

In these times, when we’ve been betrayed by so many institutions that should have had our backs, I just think about this meme I got this morning. A tip of my Stetson to Mike.

When the government says you don’t need a gun….

Y.B., you’re more than welcome, it is my honor and pleasure. Just know that there will never be enough words or emotion to express the gratitude I have for you and your family.

Fiddling on the Roof while Rome burns

Sorry folks, I don’t know what’s come over me, but it just seems like there are tons of thoughts to share. Must be the candles. So, here goes tonight’s; marriage, children and the continuation of Judaism. Although I also maintain that what I have to say about the continuation of Judaism also applies equally to the continuation of our country or even conservatism. After this I’ll probably knock it off.

What set me off this time? Shimshon and I watched Fiddler on the Roof the other night. I hadn’t seen it for a few years, and still remember the first time I ever saw it. I was of course, much younger than. The first time I ever saw it, I couldn’t understand Tevye being so hard with his daughters. How could he be so stiff as to deny them the chance to marry who they wished. They wanted to marry for love, as I’m sure everyone does desire to have love in their marriage. But I thought wow, I’m glad those days are gone. And in the end, the girls got to marry who they chose. However, I’m old now, and as my Dad promised when I was young, I begin to see things differently, it’s as though the lens of life shifts a bit. It brings other things into focus, while dimming others. I was texting with a girlfriend a few days ago and we talked about it. Here’s the conclusions I reached during our conversation.

Thinking about Fiddler on the roof today after Menorah lighting last night and have a very different perspective than when I first saw it years ago or even the last time I watched it here about 4 or 5 years ago.

Back then of course my sympathies were with the daughters. How could Tevye be so rigid?

The oldest married an observant Jew, just poor and they continued the Jewish line. Judaism will continue through them.

The middle married a non-observant who’s religion is communism and revolution. They will have children who join Peace Now where female Rabbis use Jewish prayers to publicly pray for the souls of the arabs killed by the IDF in the act of trying to murder Jews.

The youngest? She got married in a Christian church.. She and Fyedka will have children that will work for the ADL and anti-Jewish organization or will end up like Kamel-toe’s husband. Jewish in name but in observance no.

I judge none of the 3. We all want to marry for love. Everyone dreams of that. But I do have a much deeper understanding of Tevye.

Now this is a good night to talk about it, because it’s the 5th night of Hannukah. This is an especially propitious time for single who want to get married and those that are so inclined to pray for them to find their soul mate. If you want more information about this, here is one of my favorite Rabbis, Rabbi Alon Anava.

Ok, back to our regularly scheduled message.

The abomination called the omnibus bill passed. Full List: How Senators Voted on the $1.8 Trillion Omnibus Package. What is in it? It’s over 4,000 pages. What with time spent trying to impress a comedian who showed up in a jogging outfit demanding money, who had time to read it? Probably no one voting for it. But Zero Hedge is able to clue you in. The short summation, it will fund more tyranny to be exerted on law-abiding American citizens. And it will give plenty of money to the tyrants to do just that. Anything about securing our border from the current invasion? Nope, not really. But Ukraine’s of course. So while Zelenksy is locking up opposing political parties, locking up religious leaders and seizing their buildings, we are paying for that because it’s regime change in Russia, full steam ahead. Many of them have openly said that. I’ve really got to see if Vlad will text me how long we’ve got before we’ve pushed him past this red line, because unlike Barry Sotero with his red lines, Vlad doesn’t seem to ignore them. What is in all this mess for U.S.? The average American citizen? More tyranny tied up with a nice bow by the Murder Turtle. A fair amount of this will also include medical tyranny, which seems to be the most effective means they’ve found thanks to the help from a mainstream media more dishonest than Pravda. I’ve long felt the plandemic was part of the game to bring America to heel. There was too much off about how it was being handled.

America is being taken down from the inside. A huge part of it is the education of our children, and for some, children that have left the path they were raised to follow. How many poor parents these days tried to pass on conservative beliefs, a sense of right and wrong, justice, good and nobility only to watch their child run off to Moscow to preach communism? Ok, that bit comes from the movie. They don’t understand, like Perchik that things that sound just great can camouflage absolute atrocities. Will Hodel and Perchik have children to grow up and embrace the faith of her parents in time, after he’s out of Sibera? Maybe, but I doubt is. He worships revolution far more than G-d it seems. So I’m sticking with my original assessment. Only Tzeitel, the oldest daughter and her husband are likely to pass down Judaism.

I read something years ago, more than I care to remember called Sundown At Coffin Rock. I didn’t know if it would still be on the internet or not. It’s probably a 3-5 minute read and takes place in what I’m guessing is the not too distant future. It’s about how this current crop of children will treat freedom and the ability to defend it. Like I said, it’s stuck with me for years. I’m afraid that many of the youth coming up today will not only be fine with the changes the omnibus abomination will bring, but will embrace and try to further them. Because that’s how they’ve been indoctrinated. The one good thing I can think of that the covid scam has done is opened many parents eyes to the the public education system. Wide open.

But for this 5th night of Hannukah, I have good to share as well. Because there can’t be hardly anything cuter, here is my little boy wearing his Hannukah outfit this year.

Cute is cute.

And then I have a very freedom minded Hannukah song from Rabbi Michoel Green. It’s a very catchy tune, I like it!

Happy 5th night of Hannukah my friends!

Happy Hanukkah 2018

Happy Hanukkah! The story that celebrates the victory of the Maccabees, a Jewish Priestly family from Modiin that aren’t Israeli, didn’t live in Israel and they defeated the Greek empire that wanted to force them to abandon their faith, their heritage and their G-d.

If I were going to write the story today I would cast Jewish Voices for Peace, J street, If Not Now, B’Tselem, and leftist Jews as the Hellenistic Jews of the Hanukkah story. Because they work against Israel and those that want to live life according to Torah. It’s kind of interesting to me, I recently took a class called “Wrestling With Faith” in it we talked about the Mitzvot. The 613 little holy bread crumbs G-d gave to leave a path for us to follow to find him. You want to get to know someone? You ask him or her questions about themselves, and sometimes getting that information is like pulling teeth. G-d plays no such games with us. He says these things I like, these things I don’t like. You want to make me smile? You want to show you are a child who listen to their father? These are house rules. Which kind of baffles me when people tell me they don’t matter anymore. Maybe I just haven’t found the Parasha where it says G-d changed him mind about those. But that was the point of the Hellenization. To separate the Jews from the things that G-d ask. It’s like doing everything the opposite of what your boss, significant other, spouse or coach says you should do and then expecting them to still feel the same way about you. It doesn’t usually play out that way. So Hellenization was meant to turn people from the worship of G-d to the worship of the human body, art, and pagan rituals. They wanted to convince the Jews living in Israel that they didn’t need to observe the new months, circumcision, Torah study, Shabbat observance. They wanted to drive a wedge between the people and G-d.

For more info on this history of Hanukkah and information you’ll find we’ve got quite a few choices.

It’s The Most MACCABEE Time of the Year!

Oh, it’s probably nothing…

#Amona

A Holiday Classic…

Some things are worth fighting for

At This Time

It definitely wasn’t safe to openly practice being a Jew in Israel at that time. As other times down through history different people of different nations have tried to eradicate Jews and their Judaism. It never began with cattle cars, concentration camps and ovens. It began with yellow stars and discrimination. At the end of WWII the world joined us in vowing #NeverAgain, and now there has been a self serving attempt to cheapen that phrase by a money grubbing, attention seeking political pawn who is protected by armed guards even as he oinks out that those that can’t afford paid protection be rendered defenseless. Little swine.

Did we think that would be the final attempt after the final solution? Well, it wasn’t.

Rashida Tlaib to lead congressional trip to Judea and Samaria

One of the two new muslims elected to congress. She is leading a group to Israel, but not to visit Israeli Jews, Arabs, Christians and Druze. Nope, to visit the ancient people (est. 1964) Falestinians. The other muslim Ilhan Omar of Minnesota is also no friend.

Tlaib in the interview also came out in support of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement against Israel, which she said brings attention to “issues like the racism and the international human rights violations by Israel right now.”

Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, the other Muslim woman elected to Congress in November, said in an interview shortly after the election that she supports the BDS movement after saying during her campaign that it was “counteractive” and prevents dialogue.

New Hampshire Town Reject Menorah Display, Citing Vandalism

One might think it’s becoming unsafe in America for Jews to openly admit or display their faith. One would be correct. From wonderful Jack Engelhard in a column titled Americas Hidden Jews. This whole column is well worth reading.

Professor of Jewish and Holocaust studies at Columbia University Elizabeth Midlarsky is about the only one at the college who dares to identify herself openly as Jewish.

Let that sink in.

Remember, this is America. This is New York.

A few days ago she walked into her office to find it vandalized with anti-Semitic graffiti. “They got me,” she told The Washington Post. “I’m afraid.

And then we have Airbnb or AirBS depending on if you ask the company or me what their name is. AirBS is a site where people can list property, apartments or rooms they have to rent to vacationers. They have recently decided parts of Israel aren’t in Israel. So any of the Jewish homes listed in Judea and Samaria, the Biblical heartland, were removed. Not the Falistinian ones mind you, they’re still listed. Just not the Jewish ones. Have they done this in any other part of the world where there is dissension occurring? Why do I bother asking? Of course not. It is flat out anti-semitism. Are they being called out for it. Nope.

Remember in the Hanukkah story how a Hellenized Jew was going to sacrifice a pig on the alter in Modiin since Matthias Maccabee refused to do so? Matthias killed the corrupted Jew, and then the King’s officer that was commanding such a thing. There would be no pigs sacrificed on alters in the Maccabee name. The Hellenized Jews were trying to corrupt the pure ones. They’re still active today.

America’s Jewish left endorses anti-Jewish discrimination

American Jewish peace activists who have spent much of their lives fighting discrimination against ethnic minorities, have decided there is one form of discrimination they support: discrimination against Jews who reside in Judea-Samaria.

Angry At Airbnb For Boycotting The Settlements? Birthright Does The Same Thing.

According to the leftist Jews, that most likely do celebrate Hanukkah, as most all Jews do celebrate Hanukkah, Modiin, land of the Maccabees, IS NOT IN ISRAEL. Nope. Who knew?

I think Daniel Pipes of the Middle-East Forum has the answer to this one. ‘It’s time for Israel to declare victory’

Daniel Pipes is determined to make it clear to the Arabs in Judea and Samaria that in order to survive they must recognize Israel.

The Maccabeean revolt was a two fold war. One, it was incredible military victories, G-d gave many many miracles over the years the battles were fought. The other was the war of faith, religion or culture. However you choose to look at it.

I think I’m going to have to disagree with Lord Rabbi Jonathan Sacks this time. In his Hanukkah message this year he seems to me at least, to believe the great battle was for education, not military battles. I believe without the military battle of G-d through the Maccabees, there would have been no educational victories. To quote Dinesh D’Souza yesterday, he was discussing the difference between George H.W. Bush and President Trump. He said “sometimes you need Mother Teresa, and sometimes you need Dirty Harry”. I would add and sometimes, no one less than Judah Maccabee will do.

My poem to Judah. Twas a Night During Hanukkah

Tisha B’Av. From Within

Tisha B’Av is the saddest day of the Jewish year. The Jewish calender, unlike the Gregorian one doesn’t change. The date an event falls on the Jewish calender will be the same every year, the date it falls on the Gregorian will change. Tisha B’Av this year is Saturday the 21st. But since only Yom Kippur will alter the joy of Shabbat, it will be observed on Sunday the 22nd. How Tisha B’Av is observed and how it is observed when it falls on Shabbat.

Why is it the saddest day of the year? Plenty, and I mean plenty of reasons. Chabad has a list of Tisha B’Av history. In addition to what is listed, Rabbi Chaim Richman and Yitzchak Reuven mentioned this week in Temple Talk radio it is also the date the gas chambers started up at Treblinka.

Jews have paid a fearsome price, horrific, down through the ages for their faith and for their race. I realize that last one is citing a AP source, so not necessarily reliable. There has been a price indeed for the people that brought knowledge of G-d into the world. The world resisted from the beginning. From Parshat Balak when the King of Moab hires Balaam to curse the Jews, and he can’t, he only blesses them. He then advises the King of Moab, find something to separate them from their G-d, how you ask?

As the Torah tells it (see Numbers 25; Rashi ibid.; Talmud, Sanhedrin 81b–82b and 106a), the wicked prophet Balaam, having failed to undermine the people of Israel’s special relationship with G‑d by harping on their past sins, had an idea. “Their G‑d abhors promiscuity,” he said to Balak, the Moabite king who had hired him to place a curse on Israel. Corrupt them with the daughters of your realm, and you will provoke His wrath upon them.

And as the Jews assimilated the Midianite women, sure enough, they began to worship Baal Peor. This and more is in the Parshat after Balak, Parshat Pinchas. Pinchas skewered a couple of them, very publicly. And,,,,,,it brought peace and a cessation of the plague.

Pinchas’s deed evokes many associations—courage, decisiveness and religious passion are several that come to mind—but peace hardly seems one of them. Pinchas, after all, killed two people. True, what he did was condoned by Torah law, and his doing so saved many lives; still, one does not usually think of homicide as a peaceful act.

During the teaching that week Rabbi said that while many think that open borders, anyone can live anywhere, we’re all just one big family of human beings is a very liberal compassionate attitude, it is not. Because innocent people will pay the price for this, it is the innocent that are harmed. The opposite is true, that borders and sound policy are the more compassionate.

We’ll come back for Matot-Massei more. But I’ll just touch on this point. The Moabites feared the Jews, they saw the big victories and the Jews were going to settle near them. The Midianites just flat hated them. They weren’t going to settle near the Midianites, they just had a baseless hatred of the Jews. i

There are histories, cases, incidents and evidence that nations and people have wanted to destroy the Jews and separate them from G-d since G-d had a word with Avraham. There is a clear difference in what the message is coming from Torah and the liberal segment of Judaism. Rabbi Tovia Singer talks in one of his lectures about how they train secret service agents to know real from phony currency. He thought they examined tons of the fake stuff so they could spot it. No, his friend who trained the agents told him. They have them examine the real thing, to know how it feels, what it looks like, all it’s special characteristics. Then when you know the real thing, you can much more easily spot a fake. He talks about how the Jews that are easily pulled away from Judaism don’t have a firm foundation, they don’t know their roots. He urges parents and grandparents to make sure that their children and grandchildren have a good Jewish education so they are harder to pull away from the faith. And this is not a new lecture series I’m listening to. From references made in the lecture on the Slander of Israel and it’s trigger for antisemitism he mentions Senator HilLIARy Clintoon, when she called for a disasterous two state solution. She was in office from 2001-2009, so somewhere in there. He also cites the death of Chezi Goldberg, 2004 Nava Applebaum, September 9th 2003 and the butchering alive of two IDF reservists by Arafat’s Police the Wiki article doesn’t tell you what happened to those two young men, Rabbi Tovia in the linked audio, does. Why would I tell you to listen to something so appallingly gruesome? Because when you read this next part I want you to keep it in mind. Here is a list of terror attacks from 1993-1999, just a few years worth and before the intifadas.

Tisha B’Av, from within. The attempt to destroy Jews and Judaism coming from within. Just like the 300 Spartans and King Leonidas, molṑn labé dude were betrayed by a bucket of chum. Aforementioned bucket of chum wanted favors and acclaim. He sought personal recognition above the good of his people, and those he should have given his loyalty towards.

So why am I off on this tear? Well, as Bear wrote in Tikkun Olam, we received a letter citing this column, Liberal Jews are destroying their own religion. Here is the book referenced in the column.

So let’s take a look at that, shall we? Let’s start with Ze’ev Jabotinsky and his timeless words and wisdom.

“The Ethics of The Iron Wall,” a timeless document which simply and rightfully argues that morality comes before everything else – and along with that the simple concept that Zionism is “moral and just.”

…..

“It is incredible what political simpletons Jews are. They shut their eyes to one of the most elementary rules of life, that you must not “meet halfway” those who do not want to meet you.”

…..

Israel is right to have demands for safety and survival above all else. Jabotinsky’s timeless essay continues, “…there is no morality, no ethics that concedes the right of a glutton to gorge, while more tempered people die of starvation.”

He continues, “And the Talmud quotes a very instructive legal action – which has a direct bearing on this matter. Two people walking along the road find a piece of cloth. One of them says: ‘I found it. It is mine:’ But the other says: ‘No: that is not true: I found the cloth, and it is mine:’ The judge to whom they appeal cuts the cloth in two, and each of these obstinate folk gets half. But there is another version of this action. It is only one of the two claimants who is obstinate: the other, on the contrary, has determined to make the world wonder at this magnanimity. So he says: ‘We both found the cloth, and therefore I ask only a half of it, because the second belongs to B But B. insists that he found it, and that he alone is entitled to it. “

“In this case, the Talmud recommends a wise Judgment, that is, how very disappointing to our magnanimous gentleman. The judge says: ‘There is agreement about one half of the cloth. A. admits that it belongs to B. So it is only the second half that is in dispute. We shall, therefore divide this into two halves: And the obstinate claimant gets three-quarters of the cloth, while the ‘gentleman’ has only one quarter, and serve him right. It is a very fine thing to be a gentleman, but it is no reason for being an idiot. Our ancestors knew that. But we have forgotten it. We should bear it in mind. Particularly, since we are very badly situated in this matter of concessions.”

Clearly, there are people not keeping this in mind. First up the Israel (Jewish state) hating Bernie Sanders. I have to admit, I feel humor when I see a brand new expensive car with “Feel the Bern” bumper stickers on it as I drive past in my 1997 model car. Redistribute the cars. Bernie much beloved by the liberal left, doesn’t seem to have moral roots, meaning something anchoring to convictions or positions. For example

“Open borders? No, that’s a Koch brothers proposal,” Bernie Sanders snapped. “You’re doing away with the concept of a nation state, and I don’t think there’s any country in the world that believes in that.”

“What right-wing people in this country would love is an open-border policy,” he continued. “You know what youth unemployment is in the United States of America today? If you’re a white high school graduate, it’s 33 percent, Hispanic 36 percent, African American 51 percent. You think we should open the borders and bring in a lot of low-wage workers, or do you think maybe we should try to get jobs for those kids?”

That was three years ago.

Bernie’s final surrender came after dodging a question on CNN about abolishing ICE. After the backlash, he went even further, issuing a statement urging that we “abolish the cruel, dysfunctional immigration system we have today”. Open borders had gone from a right-wing position to a Bernie position.

Or how about his position on Guns?

Bernie 2.0, the formerly poor politician who has earned over $1 million for two years running, is a very different political animal than the crusty old socialist that Obama’s old lefty allies dug up in Vermont.

The left’s favorite Senator owes his seat to the NRA. He voted against the Brady Bill and was listed as the only non-Republican among the 25 top recipients of money from gun-rights groups. Hillary Clinton quickly zeroed in on gun control as Bernie’s weakness. And his response to her was praised by the NRA. And then, as usual, the flip-following followed the leftist backlash in the media and on social media.

After telling the New York Daily News that firearms manufacturers shouldn’t face lawsuits from victims of crimes committed with firearms, he flipped his answer completely around at the debate. It only took a few weeks for Bernie to go from, “No, I don’t” to “They have a right to sue, and I support them.”

These days Bernie is hanging out with David Hogg and blaming a “three letter word” for gun violence.

“It’s the NRA,” Sanders recently sneered. “And it’s Trump and the Republicans who don’t have the guts to stand up to these people and that’s pretty pathetic.”

Bernie is the the type of Jew that Rabbi Tovia talks about. They don’t adhere, or follow Judaism and they hate Israel, so the media loves to quote them, or use them as sources for their anti-Israel diatribes. That way they can’t be accused of antisemitism. The open borders thing? Go back up and see what Rabbi said in the teaching of Pinchas. A bit different from Bernie.

And a group of 50 young gullible political pawns, naw, let’s just say what it is, liberal Jews craving attention with no love of Judaism, Torah or Israel, and yes that’s my opinion but not mine alone,

This gathering was less about a genuine empathy for dead Palestinians. It was more an exhibition of Jew hatred for the Jewish state.

decided to daven Kaddish ….for the hamass terrorists trying to kill Jews from Gaza. In Parliament square in Londonistan. That apparently doesn’t run afoul of Londonistan’s mulim mayor Kahn (#FreeTommyRobinsonNow). Hamass has admitted that 50 or so of the 65 killed in the day of question were their people. People who had stated:

Hamas Gaza chief, Yahiya Sinwar, incited his people by telling them, “We will tear down their borders and then tear out their hearts from their bodies.”

Nice, in addition to that, the baby they named was not killed by tear gas (WHO takes a baby to a riot) but by a congenital heart defect. A cousin of the family told the IDF the family was paid two grand by hamass to claim Israel killed the baby. The gullible sops fell for it, naw, they didn’t care for the facts or truth, they cared for the camera and “social justice”. What crap. What is “just” about a people flat out telling you they want to kill you and you side with them?

What sanctimonious hogwash! What they were doing was feeling sad for Palestinian who set out to murder Jews.

As for their “morality,’ Seth Frantzman asked in his Jerusalem Post article, “had these fifty Jews ever held a Kaddish for the dead of the Rwandan genocide or the thousands of Yazidis machine-gunned to death by ISIS, or for the hundreds of Israelis killed during the Second Intifada” or since by Palestinians? Or the Jewish victims of antisemitism? Highly unlikely.

Did they spare any of those prayers for the Israelis murdered by hamass? For the IDF attacked by pieceful Falestinians and hamass? Nope. There was backlash. The chief organizing twit-ette, she being a she, as opposed to the male, twit, was removed from her position as a leader on the Reform youth movement’s Israel Tour this summer. Apparently this was too much for Reform Judaism. So her sister posted an appeal on facebook asking all her Jewish friends to contact leadership and express their disappointment. Reading the comments is priceless, enjoyable and entertaining. All the comments I saw run to the line of thinking you daft bint, do you not understand these people want to kill Jews? Kaddish is a Jewish prayer said for Jews, not hamass. Actions have consequences, this sort:

Perhaps u can point out to us an instance when she has said Kaddish for any of the Jewish men women or children butchered by Hamas terrorists?

Please don’t ignore the truth there was only one reason for her being removed from her post and that was because she was unfit to lead as she proved by her naive and repulsive actions.

These stunts are more than just childish. They provide succour to our enemies. It has been retweeted many times by the likes of Electronic Intifada , Ben White, BDS / PSC etc .These individuals and orgs would not dream to post anything remotely disadvantageous to their cause and so they quote you. I have studied their motivation and strategy. A key component is to seed fund dissent within the Diaspora in order to undermine the global Diaspora support for Israel . It’s one more long term element within the bds armoury to dismantle the Jewish state .

And honestly, Israel doesn’t need another Israel hating twit-ette involved with a tour.

Anti-Israel Birthright Brats Beg For Money After Getting Kicked off Program

Oh, but it’s not what you’re thinking, they walked off the tour. And it’s not the first time that the left wing activists from the Israel hating IfNotNow have accepted free trips to Israel only to use them to push their “liberal” ill-liberal narrative. Even Haaratz #FakeNews was miffed. They wanted to go visit an Arab family facing eviction. And so Birthright kicked them off the tour after they walked off. They did what any good liberal who pitched a hissy fit would do when confronted with consequences, they opened a Go Fund Me and begged money. And, they got it.

An, as in one, arab family facing eviction. Wow. They didn’t ask to visit Amona, or Netiv HaAvot. Nor did the ask to help repair some of the thousands of acres of land burned by their Gazan heroes. Nor did they offer to try to stop them from killing innocent animals in an attempt to destroy even more Israeli land and kill more Israelis and animals. Nope, none of that interested them. Being political pawns for hamass, that’s their jam. I think Birthright should have stuck them in a helmet and sent them to the border so they can get a real idea, a Falcon’s eye view of what it’s like to be an Israeli. Let them go spend some time in one of the villages close to the border, talk to the residents there. Let them go spend a few days in Sderot, and find out how long 15 seconds is. I’m actually kind of shocked Birthright hasn’t offered to hire me.

And then there was the IDF hating leftist Hannah Berg who attempted to deceive the good people of Yitzhar into thinking she was sane and giving her a tour. They gave her Tzvi Sukkot, Otzmah Yehudit, Jewish Power Director as a “tour” guide. It’s a short story, but I like it a lot and you might as well.

But the always brilliant Tsvi Sadan points out, it’s like the Head of the IDF hates them as well. Well, he didn’t put it like that, exactly.

Eizenkot: I don’t think that shooting at children and youth who sometimes fly balloons and kites [that set fires in Israel’s south] is the right thing to do.

Yeahhhh, I think I know how Elor Azariya wound up in jail. Really, go read it.

I think Howard Sachs sums it up very nicely in Leftism and liberalism: Private property

What a tragedy for America. Millions of intelligent but highly unwise Jews are replacing liberal Judaism with illiberal Leftism.

Hundreds of thousands of our young across America, now, almost fully indoctrinated into this terrible ideology, demand all this free stuff like free college, healthcare, maternity leave, daycare, retirement care, eldercare – wretched socialism.

This Leftist value system , this new religion, has taken over our media, universities, the Democratic party, Hollywood, and much of our non-orthodox Jewish and Christian institutions. And with the dogma of this religion, these men and women essentially yearn to return to our oppressive past, to Egypt, to the false comforts, idols, and destructiveness of slavery and tyranny.

The whole article is worth reading, really.

I said we would come back to Parshat Matot-Massei,

But of course, they were wrong. If one is to throw caution to the wind and risk everything, it should be in the opposite direction, to combat evil, as Pinchas graphically demonstrated. Although we should not shun the challenge of engaging the materiality of this world directly, we must be duly aware of its potential to divert us and corrupt our intentions. Hence the pertinence of the laws of vows and oaths: through these laws a person can set up boundaries for himself where he feels they are needed, as we will explain further on.

But like training the secret service agents by teaching them the nuances and subtleties of real currency to be able to tell fraud, these new brave daring Jews, foolishly fooled political pawns and spoiled brats going against the hopelessly outdated old ways of thinking have no idea of real justice, of real kindness or compassion. They want their idea of social justice forced upon you, and they want the government to do it.

But Tisha B’Av, we grieve the loss of the Beit Hamikdash, both of them. The attempt to destroy the heart and soul of Judaism, the place where G-d chose to rest his presence and would meet with the people. The world has been trying to destroy it for millennia, and now there are those who choose to try to destroy it from within. Yet another reason to mourn.

But Tisha B’Av isn’t just about mourning what’s been lost, it is suppose to put us in a frame of mind, in a place to want to rectify, to rebuild. And so I will leave you with a little video playlist, each of the 8 videos is only a couple minutes long.

But this is my favorite. It’s not the most recent one though.

I watch it and the tears run, but they are tears of hope. May your Tisha B’Av be meaningful.

New Years Eve or Sylvester Night

While much of the world celebrated New Years Eve as the start of a fresh new civil year, it is not the same for Jews. Remember, the Jewish new year, Rosh Hashanah, began at sunset on September 20th, 2017. New years eve is also known as Sylvester night. Sylvester night has long been known as a scheduled pogrom night. This column explains it very well. But here are some salient points.

This evening was, once the calendar settled on December 25th as Christmas, calculated to be the night preceding the circumcision of the child born in the “little town of Bethlehem”, therefore a call for the local peasants to engage in drinking, making merry and killing Jews.

Darkness along with the silence before a storm reigned in Jewish shteitls (small villages) that night in an attempt to make it harder to find defenseless victims, barricaded behind the flimsy doors of their huts. Torah study, which was done by the light of candles, was thus impossible.
As opposed to random pogroms and other manifestations of Jew hatred, this was a predictable yearly date.

A “Yerushalmi”, i.e. someone who lived in the Old City of Jerusalem before the State of Israel was declared, once told me that in this part of the world they would barricade their doors on Easter Sunday, knowing that the traditional Christian procession would often end in rioting against the local Jews.

Sylvester was Pope from January 31, 314 C.E. to December 31, 335 C.E. His Saint’s Day is the day he was buried, and it falls on December 31 of every year, that is since the civil solar calendar was straightened out (the Jewish calendar is a lunar one).

“On New Years Day 1577 Pope Gregory XIII decreed that all Roman Jews, under pain of death, must listen attentively to the compulsory Catholic conversion sermon given in Roman synagogues after Friday night services.  On New Years Day 1578 Gregory signed into law a tax forcing Jews to pay for the support of a ‘House of Conversion’ to convert Jews to Christianity.  On New Years 1581 Gregory ordered his troops to confiscate all sacred literature from the Roman Jewish community.  Thousands of Jews were murdered in the campaign.

“The Israeli term for New Year’s night celebrations, Sylvester, was the name of the ‘Saint’ and Roman Pope who reigned during the Council of Nicaea (325 C.E.).  The year before the Council of Nicaea convened, Sylvester is said to have convinced Constantine to prohibit Jews from living in Jerusalem.

I know that’s a lot of quoting, but I think you understand what I mean when I say it’s not the same New Years Eve commonly thought of. I want to compare history with today. Easy one first, Jerusalem. This is actually the most cheerful one of the lot. While perhaps the media would have you believe that the Arab world is united standing behind the Falestinians, that is not at all the case. They are not. Now, the UN, that is another story. No matter who it is, if Israel is involved, the UN stands behind them in condemning Israel. If Israel were invaded by something out of the movie “Independence Day” or “Men In Black” the UN would unite behind the space invaders who want to destroy all of humanity to condemn Israel. Iran slaughtering it’s citizens? Yawn. And the Israeli politicians are finally, perhaps, beginning to act like all of Israel, is well, Israel. There were two good bills passed. The United Jerusalem bill and the bill calling for Israeli sovereignty in Judea and Samaria. You should check out the link on the United Jerusalem bill just to see the jaw dropping beautiful picture of Jerusalem they used with the article. So this New Years does show some good things happening as compared to the past.

Now let’s look at the part about Pope Gregory and his tax forcing Jews to pay for a house of conversion. France it seems has decided to open a special tax branch, to investigate Jews only. Yep, secular France is going after Jews with their very own tax branch. From Pamela Geller

My various sources in Paris tell me it is life for Jews in France is intolerable. The large spike in Muslim immigration has made the terrible – the horrible. Daily humiliations and the constant threat of violence are their constant companions. And it is widely known that going to the police is pointless. The police have long turned a blind eye to the war on country’s Jews.

So that part is about the same, except they attacks and killing seems to be coming from the imported Muslims and the tax part is coming from the government. Not both from the same source, not that who it comes from affects the outcome much.

So regarding at attacks, let’s look at another country which is becoming Muslim dominant, jolly old England, and specifically London. London proudly did the politically correct thing and elected a Muslim mayor. Not sure that they think it turned out all that well, well at least the law abiding citizens may not. We know islamic terror has been up under Mayor Sadiq who dismissed it as part and parcel of living in a big city. Raheem Kassam has a good column on how that’s played out for Londoners as crime has skyrocketed.

It would seem that while Christians attacking Jews has dropped way off, in fact I don’t know of any recently, there may have been, I haven’t heard of it, muslim attacks have not decreased at all, in fact they are increasing I would say.

Which brings me to a particular attack that occurred recently in Jerusalem. The was an attack against two Jewish kids in Jerusalem. In case you don’t know what a 2013 EASY attack looks like, here ya go.

A pack of Falestinians attack and the crowd grows ever bigger, even the “kids” get in on the fun. A game the whole family can play it seems.

In this particular attack, the victims were beaten. They reported it to the police, who opened an investigation and caught the “arab youths” or as we might call them, “thugs”. This column was from Arutz Sheva.

I found out later from another column that someone shared there is a bit more to it than that. They were forced to convert to Islam, to praise the terrorist organization Hamas, and curse the State of Israel and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. And all the while it was being video taped. In addition to going to the police, they went to the legal organization Honenu. Forced conversion version 2018. Side note, this is no big deal as it’s been going on in Germany and America for awhile, just minus the beating part.

Lawsuit: Public school forced my child to convert to Islam

This attack violated their body and their soul. Shades of Pope Gregory. Of course, the Pope is still attacking Jews, so that hasn’t changed.

I would maintain the Haredi are easy targets. Their clothing sets them apart, and it’s well known that they have no military service, and so no self defense skills. Unless of course they are attacking a lone female IDF soldier who attempts to clear them out of the road when they are blocking traffic.

Why they didn’t do that when they were attacked by the arabs I don’t kno….yeah, I do.

They don’t know their enemy. Reminiscent of Moshe Feiglin asking a the Chief of Staff who the enemy was, Hamass or the tunnel and the the Chief of Staff couldn’t answer.

My answer of course is predictable. I think all the Israeli citizens, well, all citizens, need to be allowed to carry concealed. Moshe, of course agrees with me. From August 2016 Give the Good Guys Guns and from May 2014 Gun Control? Or Citizen Control? Some governments view us as the enemy. We are not. They don’t know who their enemy is. We are people that don’t wish to experience a modern day Sylvester night. The government and the liberal leftists with their paid bodyguards think normal little people, us unwashed masses are “dangerous”. I would ask why they think that? What is it they want to do that they think we will resist, and they want to remove the most effective means of resistance we have? The tools that make us dangerous. They haven’t yet figured out it’s what’s in our head, not our hand that makes people dangerous. Dangerous. Reminds me of a conversation I had with a friend not all that long ago. A person can be dangerous, and they can be good or evil. It’s not that fact that they are dangerous you need to fear. It’s whether they are good or evil. I want to be dangerous. I want to have the ability to protect myself and my family. I want to be dangerous, I have no intention of kneeling on the ground reciting islamic conversion sentences. I want to stand on my own two feet and scream Shema at them and have them run. His point was, we have to know who we are, and what we are. To me, being dangerous is an asset. I have no desire to huddle behind a flimsy door afraid to have a light on. I have no desire to see a modern day Sylvester night, no matter who is perpetrating it.

New year, new start. I will give you this by Rabbi Johnathan Sacks, Five Ideas for Life. We are all here for a purpose I believe. We all have something we were meant to accomplish. I believe we are happiest when we know what that is and we are fulfilling that purpose. We have to know ourselves. So my goal for this year is to become better at my purpose, for my soul to become closer to what G-d created it to be. I want to be a child that makes him smile as he thinks, ah, she is catching on. I want to be dangerous, and I want to lose that ten pounds.

And so to help you stay dangerous, I have a little goodie for you. Stephen Wenger who wrote DEFENSIVE USE OF FIREARMS is making the book available as a free download! This fantastic book is out of print, so this e-version is a great way to start your new year. Thank you Stephen for permission to share!

I wish you all the bright promise the new year can bring, with hope, happiness, dreams fulfilled and all the good things that matter to you. And may you all stay dangerous, because whether it is New Years Eve or Sylvester night, depends on us.

Let My People Go, That they may hold a feast to me

1 Afterward Moses and Aaron went and said to Pharaoh, “Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, ‘Let my people go, that they may hold a feast to me in the wilderness.’” 2 But Pharaoh said, “Who is the Lord, that I should obey his voice and let Israel go? I do not know the Lord, and moreover, I will not let Israel go.” 3 Then they said, “The God of the Hebrews has met with us. Please let us go a three days’ journey into the wilderness that we may sacrifice to the Lord our God, lest he fall upon us with pestilence or with the sword.” 4 But the king of Egypt said to them, “Moses and Aaron, why do you take the people away from their work? Get back to your burdens.” Exodus 5:1-4 Shemot 5:1-4

Tomorrow begins Pesach.

The original Pesach began when G-d decided his children had suffered enough of living in a land different than that he allotted to them. G-d sent Moshe to those in power over them to let them go and worship him as he had instructed them.

Pharaoh said “NO, it would threaten the Al-Aqsa mosque”. Actually that’s crap. Pretty much the same crap that muslims have been saying violently for years now. Long since before Israel was re-established as a state.

A quick history lesson. The first Temple was built by King Solomon in 957 BC. It was destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 BC. Construction on the Second Temple was authorized by Cyrus the Great and began in 538 BC. It was completed 23 years later under the reign of Darius the Great. See the Purim story for more on this little gem. It was destroyed again by the Romans in 70 AD.

Mohammed the founder of the religion of pieces known as Islam lived from 570 AD – 8 June 632 AD. Around 613 AD he started preaching Islam. The first two Al-Aqsa mosques were built in 705 AD and 780 AD. They were destroyed by earthquakes. The third and still standing was built in 1035 AD. It is the 3rd holiest site is islam, and interestingly, at least to me, is there are Arab scholars which say that the mosque located on the Temple Mount is NOT the Al-Aqsa talked of in the Koran, it is not in the right location.

So, just in time for Pesach, the anti-Israel, anti-Semitic UN branch, specializing in anti-Israel actions, known as UNESCO has released a new resolution. It denies Jewish connection to the Temple Mount. You know, the Temple that was constructed to replace the Tabernacle Moshe built in the desert? But it goes a lot further than that. It

refers to Israel as the “occupying power” at every mention and uses the Arabic al-Aqsa Mosque/Al-Haram al-Sharif without ever calling it the Temple Mount, as it is known to Jews. The text does refer to the Western Wall Plaza but places it in quotation marks, after using the Arabic Al-Buraq Plaza.

And

The resolution accuses Israel of “planting Jewish fake graves in other spaces of the Muslim cemeteries” and of “the continued conversion of many Islamic and Byzantine remains into the so-called Jewish ritual baths or into Jewish prayer places.”

Currently on the Temple Mount, holiest site in Judaism and holy to Christians, THIRD holiest site to muslims (if it is the right mosque, debate on that) Jews and Christians are NOT allowed to pray, recite verses from our Tanakh/Bible or wear any religious or Israeli symbols on our clothing. The Israeli police, yes Israeli will arrest you in a heartbeat. Yours or anyone’s. The muslim waqos, (hmm, may have left an “f” out of that somewhere) make sure the screaming harridans can yell “allah hu akbar” at visitors and safely stash rocks and incendiary devices to throw in their sacred Al-Aqsa. Pretty much like most Synagogues and Southern Baptist Churches, right?

Ok, I’ll stop. But the point is, Pesach began when the children were told to go and worship HaShem as he had commanded and the ruling powers tried to prevent it. Thousands of years later and what has changed? Moshe Dyan, you were an IDIOT!

But, there was a Pesach, and tomorrow night there will be a Pesach and I believe HaShem has still got a plan and has this covered. And so I will wish you Happy Passover, Pesach.

Oh, it’s probably nothing…

Dear Aharon,

I’m sorry to bother you again. But Hanukkah and Christmas are both over and this year it just seems like I’ve seen more than a few things that bother me. I’m really trying to be understanding, but I guess some of this just eludes me and I was kind of hoping you could help me clear it up.

In the America I grew up in, it seemed like December was always just such a joyous time of year. There is Hanukkah, with parties and dreidels and Christmas with Santa and trees and gifts. Of course I know that Hanukkah is not about gelt, dreidels, latkas and sufganiyot. I know Christmas isn’t about gifts, trees and hot chocolate.

Hanukkah was about the freedom to be a Jew, practice your religion and live. All at the same time. The Greeks weren’t so interested in killing the Jews prior to the Maccabbean rebellion as forcing assimilation. As long as you were willing to give up the practice of Judaism as commanded by G-d through the Torah and adopt the Hellenistic ways, as many of the more liberal Jews were, it was all cool beans.

Christmas was about the celebrating the birth of Yeshua, the son of G-d. Churches had nativity scenes out in front and often there might be one by the courthouse as well. Schools would have trees, kids would sing songs, there would be little parties with cookies, and parents would beam as the children did their Christmas plays.

But not this year. It’s been harder and harder to see the symbols in public the last few years, because they aren’t there. This year has been the worst it seems. So many things canceled for fear of offending another religion.

This is the year of the offended. Or fear of offending. It’s so bad that a teacher was told to take down her Hello Kitty Christmas tree. Yep, Hello Kitty. No angels, or baby Yeshua or anything like that, just little cartoon kittys on a pink tree that were dangerously offensive. At another school the Charlie Brown Christmas play was heavily edited due to the complaint of one person. There were many more complaints against it, but they didn’t matter. So it would seems the schools are safely sanitized of religion now.

Well, except for one. While many schools have decided to quit teaching cursive handwriting because it isn’t needed, some school districts are teaching calligraphy. To teach calligraphy, they are teaching the children to write in Arabic. In Arabic the children are learning to write “There is no god but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.” The first pillar of Islam. The girls in class were also treated to a lecture on how to dress modestly like a muslim, and invited to try on a headscarf while learning. This lesson was not well received by parents, and the school decided to avoid classes the next day and close. Parents were not informed what their children would be told to write, or given a chance to opt out. While a Koran was provided in class for the children to look at, the teacher declined to provide a Bible saying it wasn’t necessary. So I guess that’s how a school in VA observed December. But it’s not just Virginia, in Tennessee in September the schools went even further and made the children learn and recite all five pillars of Islam. They spent three weeks studying Islam, but skipped over the lessons concerning Christianity and Judaism. Doesn’t quite seem equal in the schools to me.

In business, mulsim cabbies refuse passengers with guide dogs and alcohol. Because it’s for religious reasons. However, religious reasons don’t seem to matter when it comes to Christian bakers who don’t want to make a cake. Then it’s all different.

What about obamacare? In 2016 the penalty for an individual is $695 for someone who’s insurance doesn’t match what the government says they must have. The Amish and Muslims are not required to buy obamacare, or have penalties. They believe insurance is gambling. Well, if insurance is gambling and they don’t have to buy it, what about auto insurance? Most states require you to have auto insurance to drive. Are they exempt from that as well?

When there is a crime committed, especially one with guns involved, it seems the media rushes to find a conservative or tea party angle. Yet when it appears the perpetrator is a muslim, the media and the government rush in to decry the connection saying it isn’t islam. In fact, barry still says ISIS has nothing to do with islam. When the woman ran over all those people in Las Vegas? The Sheriff isn’t comfortable discussing motive. Ok, maybe it has nothing to do with terrorism, or islam. Other people may scream “Allahu Akbar”, but seems it could be a clue. I mean that’s how they do it in Israel on a daily basis. The media talking heads and politicians will all trot out and tell us it wasn’t islam, had nothing to do with islam. And then call for more gun control. As a favorite radio show host of mine pointed out, why don’t all those people just hush about it, and let them tell us what islam is and isn’t. The ones doing the terrorist acts says it’s in the name of allah. I’m guessing they would know. No, I don’t think all muslims are terrorists. But the state department hasn’t a clue who is and who isn’t either. Nor does DHS or any other acronym. I’m still waiting for the million muslim march decrying the violence. Oh wait, they probably won’t do that, because it could mean their death as well.

No, islam in America seems to be hoping to force America to change to suit them. And in areas where there are large concentrations of them, they are getting quite brazen about what they insist taxpayer fork over.

So, Aharon, that’s the educational system, the business sector, the health care sector and the criminal arena and even charity and benefits. In all of those one group of people is giving preferential treatment over another. Does this mean we are already living in “dhimmitude” and no one has told us yet? And if the restrictions are applied I guess we will understand why barry tried so hard to take guns away from law abiding citizens. It’s going to be hard to impose the rest of some of those restrictions till he gets that one in place.

It just seemed so sad this December, and I guess I wonder if it is just the start of things? It’s not like we’ve ever seen a time where people are forced to give up the practice of their religion, covert or die right? It’s not like we need to be paging Judah Maccabee, right? No, it’s probably nothing, right?

Sincerely,

נצ

Dear נצ

You really are a glutton for punishment aren’t you? Yes, I can understand why you see things this way. I can understand why you are sad and concerned. But all you can do is keep trying your best to keep the concept of freedom and liberty alive. People have to have the mindset they want to live free. To keep those things alive you have to keep the right to have defensive tools. There are plenty of examples of civilizations that didn’t have enough, or good enough defensive tools and how that turned out. Keep doing those things. That is what you can do. Now, go have a nice cup of Israeli coffee, maybe a piece or two of halva. You’ll feel better.

Regards,

אַהֲרֹן
