Cautionary Tales of Disarmament

There are two groups of people right now that are being pushed to disarm. First we might look at the PKK in Turkey. The PKK are Kurds who have the misfortune to live in the Islamic country of Turkey, and for some unfathomable reason Turkey has been a NATO member since 1952. The history of Turkey’s treatment of the Kurds in their country is quite remarkable. Horrible, but remarkable.

Notables include tens of thousands of Kurds murdered by Turkery, and as in Eastern Ukraine which banned the use of Russian language, dress, customs and holidays for the ethnically Russian population of Ukraine, Turkey banned

The use of Kurdish language, dress, folklore, and names were banned, and the Kurdish-inhabited areas remained under martial law until 1946. In an attempt to deny an existence of a Kurdish ethnicity, the Turkish government categorized Kurds as “Mountain Turks” until the 1980s. The words “Kurds”, “Kurdistan”, and “Kurdish” were officially banned by the Turkish government.Following the military coup of 1980, the Kurdish language was officially prohibited in public and private life. Many people who spoke, published, or sang in Kurdish were arrested and imprisoned.

On March 20, the United States Department of State (DOS) released its annual 2022 Country Report on Human Rights Practices. Turkey’s section shed light on the numerous violations of the Turkish government against various minority groups, the lion’s share of which targeted Kurds. A non-exhaustive list of the Turkish government’s atrocities against the Kurdish population includes military operations against civilians, restrictions on freedom of speech, jailing politicians, attacks on the press, and forced displacement of civilian populations.

This has been going on a long time. But now the PKK has decided to disarm. Actually Erdogan is in a bit of a pickle. His popularity seems to have dipped enough he’s followed places like Ukraine and certain states in the U.S. who attempt to prevent elections due to ________ or imprison, kick off the ballot or kill their political opponent as some states in the U.S. did.

On the Turkish side, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said the PKK decision was “historic” and “opened another critical chapter on our path toward a terror-free Turkey.” The PKK is designated a terror group by Turkey, the United States, and European Union.

Yet Turkey’s long-standing leader also has his own domestic reasons for embracing the end of insurgency, as he looks for legal ways to secure a third term in 2028, says Ms. Aydıntaşbaş.

“While [Erdoğan] looks very powerful, he also can sense that there’s a significant drop in his popularity,” she says. “His secular rivals like the mayor of Istanbul – who he imprisoned – are gaining ground. He still has to win elections and push through constitutional changes to extend his reign. All that requires Kurdish support.”

So the deal is, Erdogen wants more power, he thinks he needs the Kurds to achieve that. Supposedly with the PKK laying down their weapons they will now begin to try to achieve their goals through diplomatic and political paths. But since the Erdogan regime isn’t being real forthcoming about some of these plans, the Kurds quite correctly have some trepidation about the disarmed future. But they did it, they had a big old disarmament ceremony.

Let me see, Turkey has controlled and abused them for 40 years, and now that they’re disarmed and they’re defenseless things are going to get better under the Islamic dictator Erdogan? If they treat you like that when your armed, how exactly do you think long term this will turn out when you’re defenseless?

Next we move on to Syria.

‘Streets piled with bodies: Syrians report massacres of Alawite and Christian civilians’. The facts are devastating: reports point to a wave of killings in Syria targeting Alawites and Christians, including ten women and five children. On 10 March 2025, BFMTV reported that 745 civilians, mainly Alawites, had been massacred in the Latakia region between 6 and 8 March 2025 by Syrian regime forces and their allies.

However, in a statement of 8 March 2025, ‘diplomats’ from the European External Action Service (EEAS) completely ignored these ongoing massacres, attributing the attacks to ‘pro-Assad elements’. This is blatant disinformation that damages the EU’s reputation.

1. Can the Commission verify the EEAS statement that the recent attacks on civilians, including Christians and Alawites, are being carried out by ‘pro-Assad elements’ alone, or does it acknowledge that the new regime is involved in the massacres of civilians?

2. Has the Commission urged the interim Syrian Government to put an end to the massacres by government forces or Islamist factions of children, women, civilians and prisoners from the Alawite and Christian communities?

3. How much financial assistance has the new Syrian Government received from the EU since December 2024?

The HTS terrorist Al Julani who by now had received his CNN makeover ala Zelensky, said he would rein in his HTS terrorists. Luckily Biden’s auto pen had taken him off the terrorist watch list and removed the 10 million bounty on Al Julani’s head. Because nobody loves a terrorist like the demoncrat party these days.

But Al Julani said he would get a handle on these atrocities. Syria leader vows to hunt down those responsible for bloodshed. Then of course he did(nt).

But the point with all that is the world and the UN were well aware of the slaughter of Alawites and Christians taking place in Syria and their rapid response was????? Nothing. The only country that helped them at all was Russia. The sheltered some at a military base. Those that could make it there anyway. The world and the U.N. had absolutely no interest in the slaughter of Alawites and Christians by Islamic terrorists. At least not enough to do anything.

The killings have been so brutal and shocking that the Alawite leaders, once under the protection of Iran, the Assad regime, and Hezbollah, appealed to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: “Save us from the brutal regime, we will welcome you with songs and flowers.” This appeal would have been unimaginable only last month, but the Alawites are now facing an existential threat that they now see Netanyahu as a protector after he warned the new Syrian regime that Israel would intervene if they attacked the Druze.

Well, I suppose at least the Greeks filed a strongly worded letter….but look at who the Alawites begged for help. Netanyahu and Israel. Why? Because Israel is a protector of the Druze. TZP discussed the Druze back in 2020 Shukran Druze 2020 if you want some history.

This fairly short video has some good information and history on the relationship between the Druze of Syria, Lebanon and Israel. And I believe there may be some in Jordan. The Druze are of the Abrahamic faith, and Moshe’s father in law was Druze. They have a strong tie in Israel, serving in the military and police forces. They are brave, honest and strong warriors. Perhaps you’ll remember last year a Hezbollah rocket his the town of Majdal Shams. The Druze didn’t take it kindly and basically told the Israeli government, you avenge our children, or we will. Unlike the American government, they have a firm grasp on how things work in the mid-east.

This recent attack on the Druze was started by Sunni Muslim Bedouin tribes kidnapping a young Druze fruit vendor. The Druze wanted him back and set about retrieving him. Hostilities erupted. The terrorist Al Julani government sent it’s government troops.

In May the Syrian terrorist government had begun demanding the Druze turn in their weapons.

Some 100 people were killed in the fighting, including the Druze mayor of Sahnaya, who was executed by members of the government’s General Security forces after welcoming them into the town.

Syrian authorities have negotiated agreements with Druze leaders to allow their local fighters to protect their own areas as enlisted members of Syria’s security forces, known as General Security, but this week, they asked that all weapons held by residents of these areas be turned in to the state.

“We told them, as soon as there is a state capable of regulating its forces, we’ll have no problem handing in our weapons,” said Makram Obeid, a member of the Jaramana committee that is negotiating with the Syrian government.

Obeid told Reuters that his committee had advised government officials it would be better for them to focus on disarming the Sunni extremists in their own forces, who are now harassing minorities.

“It’s our right to be scared, because we saw what happened in other areas,” he expressed to Reuters.

So when the most recent attack against the Druze began, they were doing their best to hold off the Bedouins, and then the terrorist government sent in their “security forces”.

The massacres and humiliation began.

Bodies and looted homes: Syria’s Druze reeling after Sweida bloodshed

One elderly man had been shot in the head in his living room. Another in his bedroom. The body of a woman lay in the street. After days of bloodshed in Syria’s Druze city of Sweida, survivors emerged on Thursday to collect and bury the scores of dead found across the city.

A ceasefire overnight brought an end to ferocious fighting between Druze militia and government forces sent to the city to quell clashes between Druze and Bedouin fighters.The violence worsened sharply after the arrival of government forces, according to accounts to Reuters by a dozen residents of Sweida, two reporters on the ground and a monitoring group.

Residents described friends and neighbours being shot at close range in their homes or in the streets. They said the killings were carried out by Syrian troops, identified by their fatigues and the insignia on them.

The National Hospital of Suwayda was attacked, every doctor, nurse and patient were murdered. The Syrian government terrorist is thanking Allah for being greater than the G-d of the Druze. The Druze do not consider themselves Muslims. If the video disappears from Twitter, I have the file.

Syrian regime forces execute Druze civilians, reports say: ‘Adopted brutal tactics’

Fierce fighting continued Tuesday in Syria’s Druze-majority province of Sweida between Druze fighters and armed Bedouin militias, who are reportedly receiving backing from forces loyal to President Ahmad al-Sharaa. Despite claims by the Syrian regime that it entered the area to restore calm, eyewitnesses say regime forces are aiding the Bedouins and participating in atrocities—including the summary execution of Druze civilians.

By this time the Druze of Israel and Lebanon had just about enough of this and began to head to Syria, on foot.

Israel had made an agreement with the Druze, they made it clear to the Islamic Syrian terrorist government, leave the Druze alone when Al Julani took over.

They have also struck Al Julani’s terrorist forces on their way to increase their attacks.

And….the media reacted rather predictably. Now I will admit, I was pretty shocked to see this headline from The National Pulse, they used to be pretty accurate. Israel Just Started ANOTHER War. Did they write anything about the innocent Druze civilians slaughtered? Nope. Anything about everyone in a hospital shot and murdered? Nope. Anything about the agreement between Israel and the Druze? Nope. Just “Israel Just Started ANOTHER war. “ They did however mention something about Netanyahu’s bogus and heinous trial going on…Talk about crap reporting.

What about the UN? Their diapers were all a-twist when Hamass claimed Israel bombed one of their hospitals, then it turned out, nope, oopsie! It was one of Hamass’s own rockets they were trying to shoot into Israel that had malfunctioned and landed in their parking lot…So surely the UN has expressed outrage to Al Julani? Surely the U.N. will help the Druze. Nope, no UN help, no US help even though the US enabled this bloodbath. No help from Lebanon who has a Druze population, no help from Jordan who has a Druze population. No, no it was only Israel that helped them. Why did it take Israel so long to respond to the threat to the Druze community? You saw the man’s frustration in one of the videos, my guess? President Trump. I hope I’m wrong, truly I do. I would hate to think he’s so busy clearing off the place on his mantle for his “peace prize” that he will continue to sacrifice the lives of innocent civilians as he has in Iran and now Syria by demanding “ceasefires” and telling Israel to stop winning and saving innocent lives. He needs to remember, “ceasefire” in Arabic is “regroup, re-calibrate, re-arm, reload, resume”. Not yanking Israel back would have allowed innocent Iranians murdered by the vengeful Mullahs to have survived. Almost all the Jews of Iran were rounded up, I’ve heard no updates on that. I’m sure Israel would have intervened quicker in Syria.

But the lesson, and I hope the Kurds won’t find out as the Druze have, you don’t disarm. You don’t trust the government to protect you, because who is going to protect you from your government when it comes to kill you. Lesson for Mamdani voters in NYC, just sayin’. Israel is good, and they are compassionate, but if you elect a 12er Islamist to rule over you…well. Bless your hearts.

But I will end on a joyful note, these are Druze in Syria, they are at the Governor’s house I believe. Do you notice a very recent addition to the Druze flag waving on the left side? Yes, someone has added a the Star of David to the flag.

Yes, indeed it appears somewhere in the world, Israel is loved and respected for saving innocent lives, in Suwaida, in Syria.

Munich, 52 Years Ago and What Has Been Learned

It was 52 years ago that the world watched in horror as the “peaceful falestinians” who just wanted to raise the visibility of their cause kidnapped 11 Israeli athletes as they were in Munich to compete against the best athletes from all over the world. The whole security set up for the Olympic village was probably put together by Kimberly Cheadle and Ron Rowe’s DEI predecessors in Germany. Inadequate and unarmed guards barely competent to arrest a drunk Canadian for spitting chewing gum onto a sidewalk. But upon further reflection, none of the guards at the Olympic village broke into anyone’s places of business without permission, covered their security cameras and allowed people to use their restrooms. Nor did any of the agents leave while on duty to breast feed. So perhaps the Olympic guards were of better quality than the American Secret Service. But the American Secret service allowed multiple people to be shot and killed, including a former President they were sent there to guard. The guards at the Olympic village allowed 11 athletes to be brutally tortured and killed, all while refusing the help of those athlete’s home country. A home country that was more than qualified to help them.

And here we are, 52 years later. Innocent Israelis and Jews from other countries are being held hostage. Not all of them are being held in the terror tunnels built by the aid given by the gullible west to build schools and hospitals and infrastructure. Aid that was diverted to building terror tunnels to sneak into Israel and attack innocent Israelis. Some of those hostages are not held in those tunnels, but instead have been held in “hospitals”, some in the tunnels and some in the home of Falestinian civilians. The ones the gullible left is so concerned about. That’s the thing, the gullible left in Israel are the ones that sustained most of the damage and heaviest attacks. They had been hiring the Falestinians to work on their Kibbutzim. They had taken them without charge to hospitals in Israel for treatment. They took them into their families thinking they would go back and tell the other arabs in Gaza how nice the Jews were and please don’t kill them. That didn’t work out well.

You can not barter with terrorists. When you do you are guaranteeing when they need more money, control, power, all they need to do is kidnap and innocent Jew or so anywhere in the world. You have to eradicate them from the face of the earth. You have to make them afraid to even think of attacking.

Netanyahu, hostages, ceasefires, and Leftists

Yes, the demonstrators are killing their loved ones. If those demonstrators were guided by wisdom, they instead would be marching with signs reading “Flatten Gaza,” “Nuke Hamas,” “Victory,” “No Ceasefire,” and “Make Sinwar into a Real Woman.”

Sadly I’m afraid we’ll soon be finding out what this is like in America. As Dr. Gad Saad has pointed out many times, for most reactions there are 3 possible reactions. A video has been released of the atrocities committed on 7th October 2023, on Simchat Torah. Simchat Torah is a very joyous which makes what the terrorist groups did on October7th even more horrifying. If that’s possible, and I’m not really sure it is.

A 21 minute and 51 second movie has been released regarding the events of October 7th. Almost all of the footage was shot by the terrorists. They’re quite proud of their actions. There are a few clips in Hebrew that were shot by Israel, you’ll be able to tell which ones. For example the few clips of the terrorists being questioned by Israel, and the one clip in Hebrew as the soldiers arrive to the Nova music festival and find the concession tent. The rest of it? The video was done by the darlings of the gullible western media, the victims de jour of the university and campus crowd, the entire Demoncrat party with the possible exception of Tulsi Gabbard, RFK Jr. and John Fetterman. The Biden-Harris junta helped facilitate it by unfreezing Iran’s assets, who fund hamass and hizbollah and a few others. The also helped by constantly putting pressure on Israel to “agree” to a cease-fire the terrorists do not want. They just want time to rearm and re-group. That’s it. And the gullible west buys it hook line and sinker. They also embrace the lie of the “poor poor innocent Falestinians”…Yeah? Who the heck do they think those people in street clothes are beating and stabbing the stolen Israelis? Yeah, the people the UN and the US demands Israel send supplies to so hamass can steal them and prolong the war.

And along with the pressure to “bring them home”, how about “give them back right now”, the Harris-Biden junta has put pressure on Israel not to go into certain areas.

The six hostages, whose bodies were found Saturday in a tunnel underneath Gaza discovered in Rafah, were in the same exact location Vice President Kamala Harris warned Israel of grave consequences if it entered.

In March, Harris warned Israel of possible U.S. consequences, hinting that it would withhold weapons if it ignored the Biden Administration’s “red line” and invaded Rafah. In this crucial town, Hamas terrorists were believed to be hiding Israeli hostages.

“We have been clear in multiple conversations and in every way that any major military operation in Rafah would be a huge mistake,” Harris said during an interview on ABC. “I have studied the maps. There’s nowhere for those folks to go.”

As I understand it, the hostages had been very recently and brutally murdered. In fact one report I heard is the IDF could hear the sound of the gunshots as they were moving through the tunnels. More blood on the Harris-Biden junta. May they rot.

There really isn’t much more I want to say, except just be aware this is very violent. I’m not sure how long it will remain up. But it is a truthful showing, they filmed it, they’re proud of it. Perhaps you might keep it in mind when you hear the Al Jazeera broadcasts of the MSM or your kid comes home from college and explains about the “oppression”. It’s always good to know what your enemy considers “acceptable”, because this will spread. What the college idiots didn’t know what it meant when they chanted “Globalize intifada” wearing their little keffiyeh? It means this will be showing in a music festival near you. Harris-Biden imported them, just for you.

It’s been one month since Israel was viciously attacked by the Iranian proxy ham-ass. And as I pretty much guessed shortly after buildings were lit up with blue and white and Magen Dovids, the worm turned. But I’ve got to admit, it turned in a bigger way that I had anticipated.

Ripping down posters with pictures of kidnapped Israeli (and other nationalities I suspect) hostages all over the world is the new pokemon go game. Some even bring their own scissors, all the better to cut them down with or have them handy in case a Israel supporter is there filming them. Are they ashamed of their actions? Oh HECK no, they’re very proud of them.

The pattern bears some semblance to the Covid vax mania that swept the planet not so very long ago. Air-headed celebrities and the media “honestly” reporting the facts.

Yeah, ok, that was satire, but barely.

I mentioned not that long ago Accuracy in Media was driving around the campus of Haaavaaard with a truck that’s like a mobile billboard showing the names and faces of the leading anti-Semites on campus. It was also parked near the leaders of the 34 student groups homes that signed a letter of condemnation…against Israel for the attack. Saying it was all their fault that over 1400 of their citizens were butchered in horrific fashions and around 238 have been taken hostage. Now what I take issue with, is in the media it was called a “Doxxing truck”, even if the rest of the story was accurate. I do not think that word means what you think it means. There was no “doxxing” involved. These are students who loudly and proudly declared their support and undying devotion to a group that beheads babies, cooks babies alive in an oven in front of it’s tortured, mutilated, but still living parents. These young minds and America’s future are all down with that. They think it’s “sick”….words should mean something. I think it’s sick too and so are they….but I mean it in the real sense of the word, not slang.

The sad thing is, this video could be true. They really are that stupid. So how did the students get that way? Oh, the media for sure.

Do they understand what they are signing on to? In some cases, no. This guy is gutsy.

There’s a page of medical professionals…not just doctors and nurses, but pharmacy technicians and similar. What I want to know, is if a hospital or pharmacy has someone like this as their employee, I certainly hope they will be held accountable for the harm they do.

And that brings me back to the mobile billboards, while the future terrorists are howling at possibly having to pay consequences for their proud signing of the petitions, employers do need to know what they are hiring. How is a law firm going to feel if they hire someone as stupid as Katanji Brown-Jackson that doesn’t even know what a woman is? If they hire someone as stupid as KJP (first black gay press secretary, just ask her) who when asked about the appalling rise of anti-Semitic attacks begins to blather on about arabs and islamophobia. How is a hospital going to deal with one of these Al Massris or Alghamdis killing off innocent patients? Hope they get sued into oblivion and that the law firm read Canary Mission first.

But luckily, I have a solution. I’d round up everyone of the pro ham-ass students here on student visas and deport them. The U.S. has ham-ass classified as a terrorist organization. The ones that aren’t on student visas? I have an answer for that as well.

But you know who else called her out? Among others, Kyrsten Sinema. She posted a tweet, or an X or something… but she called her out on it, along with a map showing exactly what “From the river to the sea” means.

Yes, I think money coming from Islamic countries, Iran seems to have more of it these days, among others is partly behind this world wide wipe out the Jews movement, I think Soros is behind it as well.

I’ve heard of several Synagogues that are offering concealed carry classes and forming protection groups. Good, we need them!!

Part of the problem is the West has a Western mindset and doesn’t understand how the arab and islamic mindset works. You can tell this when you hear someone blather about the two-state solution or a cease fire, or worse, sending “humanitarian aid to the poor Falestinians”. You know, like the arsonist, rioter, thug supporting Kamala Harris’s daughter something or other stupid Emhoff who raised a substantial sum of money for ham-ass. These are very stupid, or deluded, or ill-informed people. But they are also people who have helped perpetuate the problem that is rolling down the hill like a bolder to flatten U.S.

Just a few random and sundry thoughts about the continuing war against Israel, civilization and humanity.

The death toll continues to rise, around 1400 last I heard and the number of hostages is around 238 I believe. Hamass also takes the bodies of the dead, because Jews give the dead the due respect of a proper burial. When Jews were forcefully evacuated from Gaza in 2005 in the horribly misguided (and anti-Torah) attempt at land for peace called the two-state solution all of the cemeteries were emptied of their dead and they were reburied in other parts of Israel. Because they knew the Falestinians would dig up the bodies and desecrate them. They knew this, and yet they thought giving them a place next door to launch rockets from would bring peace. Astonishing. Demoncrats and the U.N. yammer on about two-state solutions and there has been one since 2005, it’s called Jew free Gaza. In 2006 the Falestinians elected Hamass to represent them, by over 70%. Part of Hamass’s charter is to kill every Jew. Explain to me about the poor peaceful innocent citizens of Gaza. Go ahead. And while we’re on that topic, if you haven’t seen the videos of the terrorists driving back into Gaza with the captives, allow me to share how the innocent citizens of Gaza reacted. If the Israeli, or Thai, or Ukrainian or Russian, or American were the target, they were beaten, tortured, raped and possibly killed. Not by Hamass, by the inhabitants. I think I need to quit using the word citizen because that implies something human. I think inhabitant is going to be my choice. Last I heard in Gaza there was an 80% approval rating for Hamass. Of course that could have been before the blockade. Since hamass steals the food, water, fuel and supplies and hides them in the tunnels for the terrorists, the inhabitants that voted for them might be feeling the pinch. Oh wait, nope, my bad. Turns out the whole world is clamoring for Israel to allow humanitarian aid in. Of course. But the blockade is the leverage to getting the hostages back. If things get bad enough the denizens of Gaza may begin to spill what they know about the hostages. The world can’t have that! The baby killers must be protected at all costs! Think of the rights of the rapist the college students in full throated ignorance bray!

But these pro-terrorist rallies are going on around the world.

Turns out George Soros and the Tides foundation are financing many. Color me shocked. I heard one host talking about the group having people all over that can be mobilized quickly for any kind of intersectional (think BLM, George Floyd, Antifa) type riot. Another attempt to destabilize Western culture. Hey hey, ho ho, western civ has got to go. The irony of the one in Egypt is that hamass is a branch of the Muslim Brotherhood. Yes, the ones that Egyptians threw out after obama and the CIA lead a revolution and put Morsi in. The Egyptians didn’t put up with it and El-Sisi took over. So now the Egyptians love the MB? Fine, ask El-Sisi to step aside and take them back. The Muslim Brotherhood is outlawed in Egypt. But there they are in Cairo…Of course you can get stupid college students to do it for free. Jewish students were trapped inside the library as the defenders of barbarism pounded on the doors and demanded to be let in. The librarians had locked the doors, the mob had cruised right by the school security guards who sprang into did nothing. Students called family and friends who called the police, who did show up and were told by the school not to intervene. That’s right, no arrests were made. Statistics are almost redundant as we are flooded with images and videos of Muslims and their useful cronies shouting “By any means necessary” and “Jewish genocide” in the streets of New York City, Dearborn, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and across other American cities and campuses. On the so-called “Day of Rage” after the massacre, Brooklyn College protesters, several blocks from my home, pledged allegiance to their “heroes in the resistance”.

This is sadly not as shocking to Orthodox Jews as it is to their secular liberal brothers. Those on the right have been sounding the warning bell for years, pointing to the dangerous alliance between leftist Jews and anti-Israel progressives and Muslims. However, it took a sadistic massacre that killed largely secular and left-leaning Israelis for woke American Jews to awaken to the fact that progressives are not all that interested in their brand of tikkun olam. Worse, many realize that they were complicit in amplifying the very threats they are now facing.

Jonathan Greenblatt of the ADL, which has been at the forefront of progressive activism – from fighting “systemic racism”, abortion rights, gender rights, immigrant rights – is now pushing back against former cohorts. Shortly after October 7th, Greenblatt admonished MSNBC for failing to portray what actually happened on that fateful day. “I am angry with the world that allowed the dehumanization of Israelis and sanitized the view of Hamas,” he said. “I love this show and network, but who’s writing the scripts?”

Greenblatt is now calling on CNN and other media outlets to get their story straight too. “The carelessness with which they treat Jewish victims is crazy…Demonizing and dehumanizing Israelis and Zionists is how you get this kind of barbarism and these atrocities.”

You have to give this guy credit. It must not be easy for a former Obama employee, who in 2015 trashed opponents of the Iran Deal.

But its popularity remains strong in the Middle East despite the drug being banned by Middle Eastern governments.

Civilizations are real. The culture and civilization of Asia are very, very different from the culture of Africa. And the way things work in Afghanistan is very, very different from the way they work in Australia.

And our civilization is the Judeo-Christian Civilization.

I was at the veterinarian clinic with my Belgian shepherd, Killian. As I waited, an elderly gentleman with his 14-year-old German shepherd recognized me from my Newsmax show. We chatted at length about what happened on October 7th and what needs to happen to the savages of Hamas. Which brings me to close with comments about guns and the left.

And in many of the Kibbutzim there were guns. They were locked up in the armory. That’s how Nir in my last column was able to get an AR and arm some of her fellow neighbors in the Kibbutz. She was able to make it to the armory and get it unlocked. Remember this next time you hear about mandatory safe storage. It’s not. Well, not for you anyway.

When the attacks started and word got out, people, regular citizens and soldiers were coming from all over to try to help. Many of them with just a pistol and maybe 50 or 60 rounds. Because up until recently that was the annual limit. Ben-Gvir increased that recently to 100. They need to be handing that stuff out like candy on Halloween. I’m sure there were no adequate capacity magazines. Every policy the left advocates on guns is going to get innocent law abiding citizens hurt. This was played out in technicolor on October 7th.

But what’s different in Israel than America is that Israel is uniting. Gone are the “Judicial Reform” protests. Everyone is doing what they can to support the soldiers, and the displaced Israelis. Tons of them from rocket bombarded areas. Rockets fired from the land given for peace to the Falestinians as a two state solution. Land rife with terror tunnels created by the cement and supplies sent to the “innocent hamass voting denizens of Gaza” to have schools where they will be indoctrinated by the U.N. to hate Jews, and hospitals. Tunnels and rocket launch sites are under both. Hamass knows the Israelis will have to take out those launch sites and then they will cry to the NYSlimes, the AP and Joe & Mika that Israel bombed their hospital. The press will run with the Hamass PR statement and it will be a great victory, a victory for everyone but the innocent.

Do you know how hamass got so much information about who would be where? The layouts of the Kibbutzim? How many were in a family, where the armories were? The Gazan workers. Yep, all those work permits that Bibi had been pressured by America’s demoncrats to issue to relieve the poverty and suffering of the poor Gazans. They came into Israel and gathered information they passed on to hamass. The people on the Kibbutz thought they were living in peace with them. Nope. Just like in Hevron in 1929. The Jews had lived in peace with their Arab neighbors…until one day they didn’t. Something for U.S. to keep in mind.

This is not a war for land. Hamass is a religion, a religion that demands the murder of every Jew everywhere on the planet. And you do know their saying, right? First the Saturday people, then the Sunday people. This fight? This fight is for civilization against a sub-human group of people for which no atrocity is to great. This is why we must be prepared to fight. I listen regularly to a subscription radio show. For the last few shows the non-Jewish show host has stated in every show, “Jews, get a gun. Get a gun now while you can and learn to shoot and carry it”.

On Shabbat in Israel as Jews celebrated Shabbat and Simchat Torah (celebration of finishing the annual reading cycle of the Torah) She was invaded by hamass. So how could this happen? How could Israel with it’s amazing IDF and Mossad have been caught so flat footed? Like the Yom Kippur war of 1973, this was a surprise attack that didn’t surprise those not blinded by normalcy bias. The Egyptians openly trained and conditioned the Israelis to write off the training as “just maneuvers”. In an interview with Tamar Yonah, Jonathan Pollard told of seeing a hamass video in which they were parading with all their rockets, in formation in military garb. He talked to people about it, people that should have listened and could have done something. Which they did, they told him it was “just propaganda”. He told them it wasn’t, to look at the end of the video, when they say “Soon”. Well, “soon” came about 2 weeks later. It might also be helpful to remember that the left is in control of the military and intelligence services in Israel and well as America. Remember as many Israelis were protesting judicial reform the left urged soldiers not to show up, they urged pilots and doctors not to show up for work. Do I know if that played a role? No, but it was on my mind as I just did a column on July 28th of this year. The left is willing to destroy anything, as long as they’re in control of what’s left, to paraphrase Moshe Feiglin.

So, how did we get here?

It also might be worth remembering Israel completely surrendered the Gaza strip to the arabs in 2005 as part of the disaster known as the 1993 Oslo accords. The IDF came and pulled Israelis living in the Gaza strip out of their homes and farms, all that was turned over to the “peaceful falestinians” just yearning for a land of their own. They got it, in 2005, Gaza, the two state solution. Israel traded land for peace. It has failed abysmally. And, they should have known. Talk about ignoring the writing on the wall. This article is from September 12, 2023 and is quite good. But it’s not that different from this one written on September 15, 2002. But this one gives some data.

During the first seven years following the accords, more than 300 Israelis were murdered by Palestinian Arab terrorists–far more than the number killed during the seven years before Oslo. Since October 2000, when the Palestinian Authority launched its all-out war against Israel, another 600 Israelis have been murdered–a total of nearly 1,000 fatalities since the Oslo agreement. From the standpoint of personal security, Israelis are far worse off today than before Oslo.

Oslo even put guns in the terrorists’ hands. As part of the agreement, Israel supplied the PA security forces with thousands of rifles that weresupposed to be used to fight against terrorists. Instead, they have been used to murder Israelis.

What, oh what I ask, could go wrong? Well, the denizens of Gaza voted by 70% to be ruled by hamass rather than the corrupt dishonest Falestinian Authority. That being said, Israel gets some of it’s intelligence from the arabs living in Gaza. But for the most part, they voted for this misery the live under with hamass.

So in my reasonably humble opinion, there shouldn’t be any arabs in Gaza to use it as a base from which to launch rockets into Israel. I think they should have used Moshe Feiglin’s plan. Give the arabs a sum of money to leave Israel and a one way ticket to wherever. Jordan, Syria, there’s lots of countries that are muslim and speak Arabic. Same with Judea and Shomron, pay them off and set the free from being “oppressed” by Israel. Except that they don’t want to go.

So what’s happened?

Apparently hamass knocked out part of Israel’s monitoring system in the area with bomb drones.

I’ve also heard the fence was weakened by all the protests earlier. Apparently those parts of the fence, if I’m understanding this correctly, were where the bulldozers just knocked it down, and in some areas set fire.

The hamass terrorists came in and it sounds like the town of Sderot has been almost wiped out. There were arab terrorist journalists giving updates from Israeli cities as the terrorists roamed freely through the town slaughtering people as they found them. People were calling for help asking where the Army was, the terrorists were at the door, then the line would go dead. The terrorists went to the bomb shelters, knocked on the door pretending to be people in need of shelter and when the door was opened to them, they killed everyone inside.

Which brings me to my next point, while Israel is filtering the news, and I’ve heard most of the world media didn’t report much initially, hamass is very proud of what they’ve done and have shot lots of video and posted it to their social media accounts which it seems aren’t censored.

These are hard to watch, so take that as a warning. The hamass terrorists are not humans, they have lost all trace of humanity. There are 1,000 dead Israelis, I believe most of them are civilians as that seems to be what hamass are targeting. They aren’t going to military bases for the most part, but instead Kibbutzim and small towns. There have been soldiers captured, and hamass is beheading them. There were 260 teenagers killed at a music festival. Because nothing says we’re big brave soldiers like killing a bunch of dancing teenagers, or old men driving a car. Military targets? Seriously?

But it’s not just hamass from Gaza, hamass is asking Hebollocks in the north to join in the fun. And they are starting to show they might.

I’ve heard the number of Israeli casualties from Saturday’s attack is now equal to the number of casualties they had during the June 1967 six days war.

What about the Iron Dome? Apparently they shot so many rockets into Israel in a short period of time, it overwhelmed the Iron Dome defense system.

Hamass claims to have captured over 150-200 Israeli citizens, most of which seem to be women, children, the elderly and are holding them hostage. But, there is some good news coming out of Israel, consider this my PSA, it’s from Itamar Ben-Gvir, Israel’s security minister. This went into effect on Monday.

1. Every citizen who passes the exams will have a telephone interview instead of a physical interview, and will receive permission to carry firearms within a week.

[Self-defense tests: Residence in an eligible settlement, veterans of Rifle 07 (soon it will be given to every soldier a rifle), officers in the rank of lieutenant or higher and combatants in the rank of major or higher in the IDF and the security forces, service in special units, firefighters, policemen, and worker and volunteers in the rescue forces.]

2. Any citizen who received a conditional permit to purchase a firearm and did not purchase a firearm during the year 2023 and the conditional license has expired, will be able to purchase a firearm now without the need to submit another application. The exemption will apply to about 4000 citizens.

3. Any citizen who deposited his weapon in the last six months due to failure to perform refresher training or renewal training, will be able to receive his weapon back. The exemption will apply to about 1800 citizens.

4. In addition, starting next Tuesday, conditional permits to carry firearms will be issued with a permit allowing the purchase of up to 100 bullets instead of 50 today.

Minister of National Security MK Itamar Ben Gvir: “I thank the personnel of the Firearms Licensing Division, the Civil Response Department of the Israel Police and the employees of the Ministry of Health for the very important commitment that will allow as many citizens as possible to arm themselves and protect themselves and their environment when necessary.”

But this flotsam and jetsam from the human gene pool are suppose to be Israel’s “peace partners.” And they certainly have their supporters, in Philadelphia, Ft. Lauderdale and London arabs have been dancing in the streets and marching in support of the murderers. And much of the world, at least the leftist world doesn’t understand they don’t want a land of their own, they want dead Jews. And I’ve no longer any patience at all for moral relativism. The foreign minister of Australia called for both sides to show restraint! This seriously unhinged individual called for both sides to show “restraint”. How about oh heck no. When Israel is going to bomb a building, they drop leaflets in arabic warning the arabs to get out, they send text messages, they give them every chance. That needs to stop. These people voted for and support hamass. Apparently several breeches in the fence hamass came through were created by residents of Gaza. Again, they voted for hamass……

Right now government buildings in many countries around the world are lit up in blue and white. Yay, how cool. And how will they vote the next time the U.N. is trying to condemn Israel for some nonsense. And the obiden junta, saying they support Israel. Really? Cause you just gave billions of dollars to Iran, who told you from the beginning they would spend it however they wanted. But, you did it. And the obiden crime junta has no plans to re-freeze the 6 billion they gave Iran. And for about 20 seconds the world stood with Israel, and 20 seconds later, EU in massive U-turn as it declares it WILL continue to fund Palestine. Well, that didn’t take long.

In an effort to be just and moral, kind to the poor peaceful falestinians, Israel has been cruel to their own citizens. Much like the obiden junta. In an effort to be kind to the rest of the world, they are now exposing their citizens to the same acts of violence.

You may or not have seen the video recently of Julius Malema President of the Economic Freedom Fighters, a political party in South Africa with his catchy little ditty. Rita Panahi of SKY News, out of Australia recently did an excellent, and short, report on this. Since her accent is way cooler than mine, listen to this short segment from Rita.

In the clip, an interviewer asks Malema if he can understand why people on Twitter are going nuts about him calling for genocide of white farmers. Malema responds “Cry babies”. Oh.

This is not a new topic, I’ve written about it a couple of times before.

South Africa does indeed have gun control and therefore has become the garden of eden the gun grabbers always assure us a gun free places will become. The reason is that the American media in general and the New York Times in particular never treated the Holocaust as an important news story. From the start of the war in Europe to its end nearly six years later, the story of the Holocaust made the Times front page only 26 times out of 24,000 front-page stories, and most of those stories referred to the victims as “refugees” or “persecuted minorities.” In only six of those stories were Jews identified on page one as the primary victims.

Nor did the story lead the paper, appearing in the right-hand column reserved for the day’s most important news – not even when the concentration camps were liberated at the end of the war. In addition, the Times intermittently and timidly editorialized about the extermination of the Jews, and the paper rarely highlighted it in either the Week in Review or the magazine section.

Farm murders are happening

In the past did the left have enough soul, morals and ethics they would have condemned genocide? I think perhaps they would have, even if you had to go a ways back to find that time. But not now, now their response is we misunderstood the song. No, no, there’s not much misunderstanding Kill the Boer, Kill the farmer. That’s pretty self explanatory and since that’s exactly what’s happening I’d say both the white farmers and the murderous regime are taking him at his word. Someone recently posted to Twitter/X that this is how a farmer is South Africa has a BBQ. This makes me sooo sad, and I don’t even eat meat. But just a simple pleasure like this is fraught with peril.

I recently posted something to an Israeli political party group I belong to expressing sympathy for the white South Africans. I understand very well the love of your land, and many of those farmers are on land that’s been farmed by their family for a few hundred years. How can they sell their land and get out? Who would buy it? I guess a black would be entitled to just take it if it was for sale, and what white in their right mind would buy it, no matter how good the land is? How do they get money to get their families out to start over somewhere better? Its possibly harder than living in Shomron or Judea. I got a very wise response. Since I didn’t ask permission to quote, I’ll give you the gist; It’s like the Jews of Europe in the 1930s. Those who could get out left everything but their lives behind. Those who stayed lost everything including their lives. He said he doubted there are any sympathetic safe harbors for the whites of South Africa. He advised them to learn Spanish and try to make it to Mexico. He was joking about that last bit, I think. Upon further reflection, he might be onto something…

Another thing that is different is we are heading for a famine, remember Michael Yon’s PanFaWar? Famine follows pandemic and is followed by war. This will be exacerbated by the greens trying to ruin agriculture, as in the Netherlands right now they are seizing farm land to turn it into housing for the poor immigrants. Not sure what the immigrants, or the Dutch either for that matter are going to eat. Zimbabwe no longer has food to export. India is limiting rice exports, and in America we are injecting our food animals with experimental substances. So. Seems like a stupid idea to me, but ideologues are seldom the brightest crayon in the box. Not sure where the South Africans think they’re going to get their food, and I truly hope no country will give them aid, but we know that’s not going to happen.

Which brings me to my next point. The Biden crime syndicate, Mayorkas (yeah, I don’t even care if I spelled it right or not) and border czar Harris have imported tons of them. How many? Who knows. But we now have tons of illegal invaders who come from a country where it’s government policy you can kill the white farmer, and steal his land, because it’s no longer stealing.

So, if you want to do a politically correct genocide, this seems to be the ticket in South Africa now, and the world’s media will defend you. That’s why after covid all their credibility should be gone. But it’s not. #FakeNews

The Cleansing Sound of “Nuremberg 2.0”

It’s been a rough month. I lost my Mom this month, not to Covid, but as a fallout from it in that she was taken off most of her home medications she had been stable on for years. This was after they had been supplied by me with two copies of her home meds. They didn’t advise the family they were doing this, they just did so. They dropped her dose of 325 mg aspirin as a replacement for warfarin to 81 mg. In a chronic a-fib patient laying in bed for 3 weeks what could go wrong? This was among other changes as well. For the rest of my life I will regret that I didn’t catch that the rehab facility went off the med list from Big City Medical Center rather than the list I gave them. Had they done so she would probably be happily at home in her little apartment. Apparently I wasn’t the only one shocked to find this out. The ER doctor where I work also was surprised to hear this.

I am now dealing with my Aunt who is fighting off Covid although I am more optimistic as she is not in the hospital and so has a better chance for survival. She can receive medication that will help, such as Quercetin and Zinc, lots of Vitamin C and D, pepcid and some other things. Plus she won’t get things that will likely kill her like Remdesiver. Or as Dr. Ryan Cole calls it “Run Death Is Near”.

I have felt from the beginning there was much that was off about this whole situation. We don’t do medicine like this. We don’t lie to patients like I hear nurses do on a sadly regular basis when patients or their families ask for Ivermectin or HCQ and hear them tell the family “Oh that doesn’t work”. They lied to me at Big City Medical Center as well and thus deprived Mom of a medication that she had a right to try. I knew they were lying and asked them what they had done wrong. We don’t shut down debate on treatment methods, we may have different opinions on medications but patients and families are not usually lied to, nor are they deprived of legal and approved medications. Never before have people been forced to take an experimental gene therapy shot which was changed and classified as a vaccine to shorten the research time and requirements. In fact the meaning of lots of words have been changed.

I’m willing to admit some of the medical personnel may be “true believers”, and genuinely believe the experimental injection is safe and effective, stops the spread of the disease and keeps people from catching Covid. But a lot of them may not be.

More and more is coming out, and it’s not they lying dishonest #FakeNews media that are the bearers of truth. Not that they have been for a long time, if they ever were. But it’s all kinds of lay people that are coming forward, many of them at great personal and professional risk. But some of the information is coming from very unexpected sources. Like embalmers. Someone sent me this video of some evidence by a licensed board certified embalmer and what he and others of his colleagues have been finding as they process bodies of the deceased. I believe I heard they are a group of about a hundred but I could be wrong about that. There is video of what was found, not the embalming.

Although vaccination is recognized as the cause of death by doctors and the insurance company, it has refused to pay out. The reason is because the side effects of the Corona jabs are known and published. They argue that the deceased took part in an experiment at his own risk. Covid-19 in itself is not classed as a “critical illness”.

Hospitals have become very scary places for Covid patients. Patients are often denied contact with their family or even an advocate. Families have been going to court to try to force the hospital to actually treat the patients with something other than that demanded by the demented troll running the NIH. Some states now have bills that would allow HCQ and Ivermectin to be purchased over the counter without a doctors prescription. YEAH! Hospitals do not want to treat patients. Ideally they should be treated in the ER, not sent home to turn blue. The goal of early treatment is the “early” part. There are 4 possible reasons I can see.

A) They are true believers.

Israel is the most vaccinated country in the world. They have endured lockdowns, the lie of the green pass and segregation. Israel has become the apartheid state the woke nations have long and unjustly accused it of being. Under the fraud of a Prime Minister Naftali Bennett they have become apartheid for the uninjected.

B) They will lose too much money. Hospitals are paid a bounty on following the guidelines.

C) They’ve been threatened.

It is impossible to deny the parallel between the first two years of the Nazi regime in Germany and the last two years in Britain.

And after five hours they hadn’t even covered everything they wanted to cover. But one of the things that came out is the incredible amount of corruption in the medical system. And as one of the practicing doctors said hospitals have become very dangerous places for sick people. I would truly urge you to spend the time to watch/listen to this hearing. If you watch it you get to see the graphs. The hearing really starts at the 40 minute in mark. I’ve listened to it at least twice. Some of it I already knew. In 24 hours it had 800,000 views.

Recycling

When I was a kid, the idea of recycling became popular. Mind you our elders had been doing recycling for years. Taking parts from one piece of equipment and using it on another, re-purposing things for jobs that they were never intended, but they made it work. I’m blessed, I had grandparents and parents that were really good at it. They didn’t lecture, they just did it and we learned. In the 70s it became trendy though. Now I’m not in favor of littering or anything else like that, I think recycling is great. My point is that we were doing it long before the government saved us by making it trendy or mandatory.

Some things are great for recycling, soda bottles, hand me down clothes, car parts, old wheelbarrows for flower gardens or strawberries. The limit is creativity. Some things however stunk the first time around, and yet are being recycled. Politicians for example.

Claire McCaskill- Air-Claire ran as a moderate for the Senate from Missouri. Complete with June Cleaver pearl necklace and sweater set she convinced ill informed Missourians she was a moderate. She and the hoplophobic Robin Carnahan tried to hold a rally at a gun shop to convince people they weren’t anti gun. Had people read Missouri Weapons and Self-Defense Law by Kevin Jamison, they would have known when a prosecutor lies openly and says any 12 year old can walk into a gun shop and buy and Uzi she is not honest, and not on your side. Happily some Second Amendment people tipped off the gun shop, who should have known better, and the even was canceled.

Even back then the MSM aka #FakeNews was so biased she was never challenged on it. Well, Air-Claire (all sorts of good articles to choose from there) wants to be relevant again. But to be relevant in today’s Democrat-Socialist party, you have to be for tyranny and against the American people. Claire wants to prove she can fit right in.

Most families have their own holiday traditions on 4th of July. Normally, they involve fireworks, cookouts, swimming pools, and maybe watching a movie like Independence Day, The Patriot, or Jaws.

But the McCaskill family is apparently about to start a new and disturbing tradition.

Just listen to the former senator tell MSNBC what her family has planned for this Independence Day:

So, Air-Claire finds watching a bunch of antifa dress up like normal Americans create havoc and then change back into their antifa black cool? Meanwhile normal Americans are just walking around in the Capitol or in the Capitol but destroying or burning nothing and then have their lives ruined something enjoyable? Apparently that’s the mindset needed to be in the “in crowd” in the Democrat-Socialist party today.

They are being kept in solitary confinement, beaten (so far I hear one has lost an eye) tortured, one hour of turn out a day, no bail, and trials not until next year. Does anyone think President Trump would have allowed any American citizen, regardless of their political affiliation to be treated like this? I don’t. Yet the MSM aka #FakeNews and the rabid left, but I repeat myself, babbled on and on about how President Trump was a fascist. Idiots. There is a Telegram group where Professor David Clements highlights one a day. Most have lost their jobs and businesses as well leaving their families in an awful state.

Chag Purim Samach 2019

Today is the 14th day of Adar, a month of joy. I would add a month of triumph as well. The story of Esther is interesting for many reasons, one of them is there are no open miracles, in fact the name of G-d doesn’t appear in the story at all. The miracles of the story are evident only in hindsight. It can be that way in our everyday lives as well. Things that are absolute miracles are only seen clearly when we look backwards.

The Shabbat before Purim is known as Shabbat Zachor, and after we heard our regular lesson on Parashat Vayikra, we then read how the Amalekites attacked us as we left Egypt. Devarim/Deuteronomy 25:17-19

17You shall remember what Amalek did to you on the way, when you went out of Egypt,

18how he happened upon you on the way and cut off all the stragglers at your rear, when you were faint and weary, and he did not fear God.

19[Therefore,] it will be, when the Lord your God grants you respite from all your enemies around [you] in the land which the Lord, your God, gives to you as an inheritance to possess, that you shall obliterate the remembrance of Amalek from beneath the heavens. You shall not forget!

The morning of Purim service also includes a special reading from Shemot/Exodus 17:8-16

8 Amalek came and fought with Israel in Rephidim.

9 So Moses said to Joshua, Pick men for us, and go out and fight against Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on top of the hill with the staff of God in my hand

10 Joshua did as Moses had told him, to fight against Amalek; and Moses, Aaron, and Hur ascended to the top of the hill.

11 It came to pass that when Moses would raise his hand, Israel would prevail, and when he would lay down his hand, Amalek would prevail.

12 Now Moses hands were heavy; so they took a stone and placed it under him, and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one from this [side], and one from that [side]; so he was with his hands in faith until sunset.

13 Joshua weakened Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.

So what’s the deal with Amalek? They hated the Jews, a senseless, baseless hatred. And, Haman the minister who wanted the Jews annihilated was descended from Amalek. Shocker that eh?

And despite the outcry, the mayor of the town of Aalst (that’s not how I spell asshat, must be a Belgium spelling) defended the display of Jews atop bags of money, one holding a white rat, one with a white rat on his shoulder.

The mayor of the town defended the display. Of course. It was followed by a couple of floats with dancers dressed the same. One thing that I noticed is many of the “dancers” appeared young, grade school or junior high perhaps. So, they thought this up? The hitler youth is alive and well? The kids were raised by Ilan Omar? What?

The annual carnival where the display appeared was added in 2010 to the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, or UNESCO. The organization has not replied to numerous critical questions about the Aalst event on social media and on Tuesday had not issued any statement on the subject.

Perhaps Belgium, and the mayor of asshat Aalst should remember the magnificent ending of the Purim story. Purim means lots, and that’s how the wicked Haman chose the day to exterminate the Jews, he threw lots. The 13th of Adar was the day that all the Jews were to be exterminated. Didn’t go as Haman planned.

“How can I endure to see the evil that will come unto my people? How can I endure to witness the destruction of my kindred?” Esther cried in anguish.

The King was deeply moved, and he wanted to allay her grief. Unfortunately, it was not so easy to rescind the decree, for it was sent out by order of the King, in his name, bearing the King’s own seal. Such a decree was irrevocable.

Finally, a plan was hit upon. A new decree was to be issued in the name of the King, declaring that Haman had abused the King’s confidence by issuing falsified decrees. Instead of issuing decrees to do away with the persecution of the Jews throughout the vast Persian empire, as was the King’s intention and desire, the treacherous Haman had ordered the extermination of the loyal Jewish subjects! A further proof of the King’s displeasure with Haman was the fact that Haman had been executed by the King’s express command.

Once again the King’s scribes were called, and the new decrees were prepared, this time dictated by Mordechai himself. The documents were immediately dispatched by royal couriers riding on swift steeds to all the governors and princes of the 127 provinces of the Persian Empire, from India to Ethiopia. By these royal decrees, permission was granted to the Jews to gather on the thirteenth day of Adar and defend themselves against their enemies, and to attack and slay all those who would assault them.

The news of the great salvation of the Jews spread like lightning to the remotest comers of the Persian Empire, and the Jews were now treated with respect.

When the thirteenth day of Adar arrived, the day on which the Jews were to be slain and exterminated by Haman and his evil forces, the Jews gathered in the public places of each town and hamlet. By order of the King, they sentenced to death all those who had revealed themselves as enemies. Throughout the kingdom of Persia, seventy five thousand would-be murderers were executed, and five hundred more in Shushan. All ten sons of Haman were likewise executed.

The King brought the news to Esther. “I have but one more request to make,” she said. “There are still many dangerous enemies at large in Shushan. They must be executed or there can be no peace in the land. Let tomorrow also be set aside for a day of judgment in Shushan over the enemies of our people who are also the enemies of all mankind. And may the bodies of Haman’s ten sons be hanged on the gallows.”

Esther’s request was immediately granted.

And so while the Jews outside Shushan celebrated their victory on the fourteenth of Adar, the Jews of Shushan were still grimly engaged that day in the task of ridding the city of the villains and murderers. Only on the following day did they celebrate the great and miraculous salvation.

Mordechai, now dressed in magnificent royal robes, became the King’s viceroy and closest advisor. He served the King and his own people with humility and devotion.

From that time, the fourteenth day of Adar was consecrated as the festival of Purim, to commemorate the great miracle of our people’s salvation, and the downfall of the wicked Haman.

Today we do not need a King’s permission to defend our lives. We have the King of the Universe who gave us life, and he says we are to defend it. Perhaps Belgium should remember what happened to Haman and his sons.

As with many holidays, They tried to kill us, we won, let’s eat.
