I’ll just drop this here with one comment, to follow.
ABC News Airs U.S. Gun Range Video, Calling It a Syrian War Zone — Twice
The footage, which ABC News purported was of an attack on the border town of Tal Abyad, was aired Sunday on World News Tonight and Good Morning America on Monday morning. However, a comparison by Gizmodo shows the video was captured at Knob Creek Gun Range in West Point, Kentucky back in 2017.
Oh. My.
I would like Swalwell, Biden, O’Rourke, and Harris to note that what US gun owners consider play time is what a major news outlet can mistake for a major military offensive by the Forces of a NATO nation. Tell us again how resisting a tyrannical government is futile.
OK. Two comments: That’s funny.

I just have to share this somewhere. And hope it finds it’s way to at least a few liberals who think that they can simply wave a magic wand and have all of the guns that they are afraid of disappear.
I read this article somewhere else, and while I can’t say that I was in disbelief, I was stunned. I mean, did those idiots, I mean, those bastions of liberty and protectors of freedom really think that nobody who owns guns would see this and realize that it was not a war, but just a group of gun owners, having a gathering, to enjoy their freedom?
Like many love to say, Molon Labe. I heard that 1% of the bump stocks have been turned into the BATFE people. I told them that obviously, 99% of the rest of them had the owners following the BATFE destroying them with a bandsaw, and a hammer. Because nobody would dare to disobey an illegal and unconstitutional random order, made by an agency that is also in charge of enforcing the orders.
I am just glad that the police don’t write the laws that they are charged with enforcing. Or they would be able to enter your home and shoot you, without any search warrant, or at the least, a no knock warrant. Oh, wait, they already do that, in Texas. A cop just shot a woman through a window in her house. He resigned from the force and was charged with a crime, but only because it hit the media. Otherwise, they would have hid him for a month or two, and then gave him a job somewhere else.
I had a discussion with my wife today about what would happen if America devolved into a shooting civil war, and the government demanded all guns to be turned in. I told her that there was no way that I would do so. Of course, that is because they were all lost in a boating accident.
I also told her that if it ever came to a shooting civil war, I would have to sit down with her and explain what I was planning to do. I have my plan for the most part, but it depends upon what form it takes, what I would have do.
She has come full circle from being afraid of guns, to making certain that I am carrying my concealed pistol when we leave the house.
When I was in high school, and I graduated in 1978, I never would have even been able to imagine the events of today. And I read books by Bradbury, Arthur C. Clark, Isaac Asimov, and a few others. Many of the ideas that they came up with we now have, of course.
Even knowing these writers predictions of what the world would be like in this century, even they could not have expected the changes that have come about. The technology, they all had a pretty close idea of some of the convenience of todays lifestyle. But I think that they would all be taken aback to see the way people act, dress, speak, and think. Plus the fact that so many people have no patriotism towards our country. I don’t expect anyone to have any allegiance to a government, but to our nation, we all either saw the results of WWII, and the sacrifice that the allied nations people made, to ensure that the world would remain at least for some part, free.
We all know that the 2nd amendment is the one that ensures that we are able to keep the other 9 amendments from being taken away from us. And I truly believe that the left, or the far left, not there is any difference any more, is using the collapse of the 2nd amendment as the first rung on the ladder to complete oppression of the American people. Because once the people are disarmed, they will have no way to stop the government from doing anything they want to do. So that is a part of the reason that at the federal level, I have become a one issue voter.
As I told my wife, I do not have an AR 15, or an AK 47, as at this point, I have no real use for it, and spending the money on one, since I am on a fixed income and watch, and monitor my spending. But if something happened that I felt was a sign of coming ban on this type of gun, I would buy one, due to the fact that I would know that a fighting civil could not be far behind.
As always, pray that it never comes to that, for both our country, but also for the people of this country.
I have never been afraid for our country entering into another civil war. But I never saw a party who went through so much to get rid of a president for just the reason that they don’t like him.It is not a good thing to be doing, with the presidential just around the corner. But that is their choice. Let’s hope that everything turns out alright.
BSTDs: From my research (BSTDs turned in to state/local departments, to ATF, or documented destroyed– the Viking funeral was a thing of beauty), I make — best case for the ATF: 0.6% compliance based on the low end estimate of 200,000 commercial units in circulation. Using the ATF’s upper estimate: 0.23%.
“shooting civil war”: Ain’t gonna happen. We won’t be that lucky. I’m still hoping it won’t go down like that, but it isn’t looking good.
