Good Relations

I’ll admit it. I’ve never raised human children. I’ve seen a plenty in the checkout line at Walmart that I truly believe if I had raised them, they would be behaving in a much different manner. Namely, with manners. They pitch that screaming hissy fit in the checkout line for that toy action figure because they know their parents will give in to get them to shut up and people will quit staring at them. If they buy it for the brat? They’re toast. Until they make a believer out of that kid that such behavior is going to result in dire and most painful consequences.

No, I haven’t raised human children, but I have a dog that weighs almost as much as I do, usually, he obeys requests/commands in Hebrew or English fairly promptly. I have a 1300 lbs horse, and not long after I got him, I understood why I got such a good deal on him. He’s not a bad boy, he just like most critters, wants things his way. When you have a 1300 lb animal that thinks he can walk all over you, and ignore your commands with no consequences, he will walk all over you. Sometimes literally. He too understands what I ask of him, in Hebrew and English. I have smart kids. But the horse got smart because he learned if I asked him to do something and he fired off a kick at my head, the repercussions will be immediate. And they are, and he decides that wayward kick wasn’t near as much fun as he thought it would be. It has to be this way for us to have a peaceful, harmonious relationship. And we do. I respect and love him, I enjoy my time with him, and I believe he does with me as well. He has a quick agile mind and enjoys learning. But if left to his own devices, he would be a bully. A 1300 lb bully. When bullies get away with intimidation and what they want by acting out they will continue to do so because the payoff is what they want. And the longer it goes on, the more I risk being hurt and the more it takes to convince him that he is on a path he doesn’t want to be on. You have to send them a strong, very strong signal that what has worked in the past will not only no longer work, but result in a most unpleasant action.

Perhaps you have heard that there has been a bit of a scuffle going on in the land of Israel. That every once in a while (daily) a group of Arabs which call themselves Falestinians try to kill a group of people indigenous to the area known as Jews. They are quite comfortable doing this for a couple of reasons. They’ve been doing it for years with the tacit support of other nations. In 1948, the British armed the Arabs against the Jews to prevent the state of Israel. Of course things are much different now. Now it’s the U.S. providing funds for much needed humanitarian supplies such as cement to build terror tunnels and pay wages to the families of the terrorist that are caught by Israel or killed. This amazing feat of humanitarian aid was pulled off in the final hours of Barak Hussein Obama’s faux Presidency. To do this barry had the ketchup heiress john kerry send 221 million dollars to the pieceful Falestinians over the objections of congress. In other words, barry continued to do what barry has done for the last 8 years, tell Republicans to stuff it and do what he wants without repercussions. So kerry sent the money-gram. I wonder if Abu Mazen was shopping online at Amazon for his next new suit when word came that the new Sheriff in town had said “Whoaaa there NellyBelle”, not so fast. It seems the state department realizes that policies are now different than when bho was in charge. The money to be sent for humanitarian terror tunnels and terrorist pensions was frozen until the transfer could be reviewed by the Trump state department to see if it fit the guidelines. Of course Abu Mazen may not be that worried. Since in April of 2012, barry bypassed a Congress block and signed a waiver declaring that aid to the PA is “important to the security interests of the United States.” Huh, who knew building terror tunnels and paying imprisoned/dead terrorist wages was of security interest to the US? He probably thinks the money will be coming sooner or later and is ordering up a fresh batch of rocks, Molotov cocktails and guns to use on Israelis who insist on living in Israel and Americans who insist on visiting Israel. I’m sure his supplier will extend him credit as he has always been good for the funds before courtesy of barry and the money confiscated from the US taxpayer.

He’s used to the likes of barry & his dance partner kerry who still defend the dastardly bastardly betrayal of Israel.

In a farewell interview on CNN, Kerry explained why the Obama Administration refused to veto last month’s UN Security Council resolution targeting Israel, and why he thinks it was a “friendly” gesture.

Yeah, barry & kerry love Israel like OJ loved Nicole.

This is not enough to cause Abu Mazen to realize that the game has changed and the rules have changed. It will take more than that to convince Abu Mazen and the Arab world that they need to leave the Jews alone. It’s a good first step that Bibi has announced building permits for 2,500 homes in Judea and Samaria, as well as 566 new homes in the North of Jerusalem. Discussions are underway for 5,600 new housing units in the north and south parts. In a departure from the last 8 years, the US State Department has not uttered so much as a syllable of outrage. But I have an additional helpful suggestion.

Move the Embassy to Jerusalem, the capitol of Israel.

This is already being considered, and in fact during the campaigns was an issue.

Abu Mazen aka Mahmoud Abbas hyperventilated when he realized that Trump actually seems to be trying to keep some of his campaign promises. He had to log off Amazon and quit planning how he was going to spend his the poor Falestinian’s $221 million aid package. Then he began to do what pieceful Falestinian leaders do. He began to try to pitch a hissy and get his Arab friends to pitch hissys with him.

After weeks of shouting in the wind, the PLO finally managed to get some Arab threats going against a possible move of the US Embassy to Jerusalem.

On Tuesday, Azzam al-Ahmad of Fatah’s Central Committee said that the PLO has a 21-point plan on how to respond to such a move. He didn’t elaborate, but part of it is clearly to recruit whatever Arabs they can to justify the threat that Muslims worldwide will want to go to war over this.

In other words, since no one has made a big deal over this so far, the Palestinians must resort to ever-increasing incitement among Arab masses who are, frankly, too stupid to know the difference between moving an embassy into an area that the the entire world recognizes as Israeli and a “declaration of war against Islam.”

Palestinian Media watch says they are threatening world wide violence if they don’t get their way. World Wide.

France in show of solidarity with Israel at not having embassies located in their capitol is telling all countries to move their embassies out of Paris to Murat. Naw, just kidding. France jumped in on the side of the pieceful Falestinians. But then France has a large muslim population to contend with. And they’ve seen the results of that. France is behaving stupid and scared, this is a bad combination. France also has Jews fleeing, due to antisemitism. In spite the current attacks in Israel it seems. It’s so bad that:

In a speech he gave to commemorate International Holocaust Remembrance Day at the European Parliament, European Jewish Congress (EJC) President Dr. Moshe Kantor called on European leaders to show their commitment to fighting hatred against Jews by adopting the definition of anti-Semitism agreed to in May by the Berlin-based International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) .

I would say aggressively going after those who murder them, harass and destroy their property would more effectively combat antisemitism, but hey, that’s just me. You have to be able to recognize evil, stand up to it and fight it for that to be effective.

Flattened
Flattened

But the pieceful Falestinians seem to think they’ve won.

PA officials: US caved to our pressure, won’t move embassy

PA official Ahmad Majadlani said the US had understood their hints and would not revisit the topic in the near future.

My advice to President Trump? DON’T blink! Move the embassy. If you don’t, you will have the brat in your shopping cart screaming for that toy action figure when he is 30 years old till he gets his way. If you do, Jews, Christians and anyone else in the muslim line of attack will in the end be safer. If any attacks are addressed promptly and strongly by the country in which they occur, the pieceful Falestinians will begin to understand, that a President Trump does not react the same way barry did. And if I were in the UN, I believe I’d make it clear that any muslim attacks in any country as a result of U.S. moving our embassy to Jerusalem will result in the cancellation of any and all funds. Period, immediately. I, personally have no desire to live under the threat of attack because some group of arabs doesn’t like something and threatens to pitch a hissy.

To have a peaceful partnership you have to have respect on both sides. With human children, dogs, horses, anything. They have to respect your leadership. If they don’t? There will be no trust, and nothing will be accomplished. It’s the same reason we can’t make “reasonable compromise” with anti-gun groups. THEY aren’t reasonable.

Well Mr. President Trump, if Rex Tillerson doesn’t work out for you, you can still get in touch with me through The Zelman Partisans.

  1. President Trump is giving them the stick first and no carrot. I’d like to think it’s a ‘Big Stick’ ala Teddy Roosevelt.

That $221 million that Kerry tried to slide past at the last minute? It got frozen – dead – in it’s tracks. Looks like that ‘pen and a phone trick works both ways.

Nothing yet about an embassy move, but I’d like to think, from what’s happened so far that it’s just in the “in” box.

  2. And from what I gather in the linked article, more than just the $221 mill is going to be re-evaluated. It should be.

The UK who supported the outrageous UN resolution backed off when it came to the Paris “peace” conference. The word I heard was they were wanting to get on the good side of the incoming administration. Now if a few more countries begin to act that way, there could be the beginning of peace in the middle East. At least that’s how I’m seeing it. I agree Miles!

  3. I am for moving the Embassy for sure however if something isn’t done about the sellout Iran Nuke deal soon there will be no capital to be moved anywhere.
