Egan dedicated an entire section to “The Antisemitic and Racist Origins of the Ordinance,” yet somehow never managed to establish any such origin. The closest he came was pretending that the Aryan Nation espoused — unconstitutional — ideas that he imagines are similar to upholding the Second Amendment to the Constitution.
Guilt by imaginary association.
The best immediate response to Egan is of a sort I usually avoid here (saving it for my personal blog). This warrants an exception; I apologize to anyone who may be offended. Except Egan.

The Zelman Partisans is a Jewish group (though not every individual is Jewish).
A group of Jews and friends who stand uncompromisingly for the right to keep and bear arms — and the entire Bill of Rights.
The Bill of Rights happens to include the Second Amendment, thus TZP supports upholding it. Egan obviously doesn’t.

Egan violated his oath of office, and is calling Jews antisemitic to deflect attention from his own failure.

I can only wait and wonder, how long it will be, until the SCOTUS gets fed up with their Bruen ruling being totally ignored, and they come out with something that has some type of bite behind it. As a non legal sort, I don’t know what that might be, but surely there must be something that the Supreme Court can do, legally to force the lower courts to pay attention to the rulings that they make. Because if not, then there really is no reason for the third branch of government. OOOOh, wait, now I get it. That is not a failure, but a strategy of the Democrats.
It sounds much like the likely apocryphal saying of Andrew Jackson who said ” He has made his decision, now let him enforce it.” While the pro gun people want to ignore unconstitutional anti gun laws, it seems that the anti gun people on the left are attempting to do the same thing to the Court decision called the Bruen decision. It begs two questions, who will win, and will there be bloodshed? One thing is certain, no matter the side that wins, the battle might be won, but the war will never be over.

I can get behind that. Violate the law, as laid down by the highest court in the land, and go to jail. After a long and expensive trial, of course, just like they do to gun owners. The trial is the punishment, they don’t mind if they lose, if they can bankrupt the defendant in the process.

Well said Bear! I couldn’t have said it better myself. The bat rabid left has strange ideas of what antisemitism is. They said when Trump moved the embassy to the capital of Israel, Jerusalem that it was antisemitic. Yet many of the the Jews of that tiny nation loved him and there is a village called Trump Heights. Not the left of course, they seem to hate and want to destroy whatever nation they are living in. They also love word games….they never get it right, but they keep trying to play.
