Lifting the Veil On Black Lives Matter

¹To understand Black Lives Matter, it is necessary to distinguish between the organization by that name and the general movement operating under the same banner. Three Marxist lesbians formed the Organization following the Trayvon Martin case in 2014. Their goal is abolition of Judeo-Christian based Western society and violent over throw of all its institutions. In addition, they contend the white race is attempting to exterminate the black race with police their instrument of execution. I plan a future expose on them but for now, my focus is on the broader Black Lives Matter Movement (BLMM).

Liberal media mouthpieces, aware of the revolutionary, violent, and communist nature of BLM, are quick to point out that most protesters marching under its name are not necessarily members of BLM or aware of its extreme goals. They worry connection between BLM and the protest movement will damage the latter’s cause. However, a close examination of the movement’s beliefs and ideology may prove equally problematic. What do they believe?

In general, to varying degrees, the Black Lives Matter Movement [BLMM] assert systemic white racism besets America. This means racism permeates America’s institutions from government, the family, church, education, its economic system, cultural norms, to its criminal justice system. So pervasive is this racism, it is intertwined with and inseparable from these institutions. The nature of white racism is structural meaning built automatically into each institution from the ground up. White privilege means Caucasians, by virtue of their skin color, have automatic societal acceptance and access to opportunities denied others. BLMM asserts this explains why whites achieve success and prosperity at higher rates than blacks do. White Supremacy means Caucasians construct culture and mechanisms to protect and preserve their dominance against challenges. This renders non-whites permanent second-class citizens unable to enjoy the Declaration of Independence’s promise of equality. For “proof”, BLMM points to the inordinately high percentage of blacks in poverty and prison claiming those behind bars are political prisoners, not criminals. Political for challenging the status quo. Because the police are the bodyguard for white supremacy, BLMM exhibits special hatred toward black officers.

Two inescapable questions come to mind. First, if the white race has so constructed America’s institutions to preserve its hegemonic dominance, how is it brown and black immigrants from East and Southwest Asia, the Middle East, the Indian Subcontinent, and Africa scale these barriers achieving economic success equivalent to whites? Second, considering that black mayors, city councils, police chiefs, and boards of education have controlled black dominant cities for decades, how are white people to blame? To ask such questions invites shrieks of outrage and accusations of racism. You will be “cancelled”. BLMM addresses these discrepancies by insisting pathologies afflicting black dominant cities; poverty, unemployment, high school dropout rates, children born out of wedlock, drug use, domestic violence, and violent crime are the direct legacy of slavery. Former conditions of servitude, Jim Crow, and structural racism, lock blacks into inescapable economic inferiority leaving them few avenues to survive other than crime. It is the white man’s fault. If this is so obvious and demonstrable, why then do Caucasians deny their culpability? BLMM says it is because white people are inherently racist. It is a part of white people’s nature as if a component of their DNA. Inherent racism blinds them not only to the plight of blacks, which they see as the norm, but also to their role in creating and perpetuating problems endemic to the black condition. This blindness renders any white observation or opinion on race illegitimate. The white race must accept and purge its collective guilt.

Black author Taleeb Starkes also notes what he calls the Racial Grievance Industry (RGI), blames black poverty, and crime on the legacy of racism in cities long ruled by blacks. This is for political reasons. If black leaders accept responsibility, no longer can they blame white society. Blame and accepted guilt allow them to extract from whites economic tribute and political advantage.² Starkes refers to the notion the legacy of slavery damns whites to eternal responsibility for problems plaguing black cities the “Theory of Exploitivity”. It promotes not only perpetual white guilt, but also argues all conflicts between the races stem from blacks attempting to confront white racism. It is a one-way street.³ Riots are a form of political expression their condemnation therefore racist. Since 1965, the federal government has spent trillions in black cities on poverty and education programs yet little has changed.⁴

For BLMM and its groveling self-flagellating white sycophants, “Racism is the end-all-be-all-explanation” for everything that is wrong in the black community. Therefore, “no fact finding mission is necessary”. Whites must accept total blame and responsibility for all problems in black communities without question or equivocation. Because whites are guilty, what is there to argue about? Any study or investigation into the root causes of black societal problems, whose starting point does not begin with presumption of white guilt and responsibility, is racist and invalid.⁵ Discussions of racial issues by whites must begin with their confession of guilt and blame. Pointing to studies revealing fatherless homes play a role in black crime, Baltimore’s riots for example, is a non-starter because it does not begin with the presumption white racism is always the cause.⁶ The white race must also purge its collective guilt. Part of that process is to dismantle all institutions, symbols, and vestiges of racism and slavery. Purging must include culture, holidays, language, historical documents, statues, and so forth.

For years, I have advocated a name change for the nation’s capital. Not to denigrate the man who was first in war, first in peace, and first in the hearts of his countrymen (George Washington for those who went to public school), but to separate his name from the disgrace on the Potomac. The federal government’s functions today bear no resemblance to the Constitution. Heretofore, my voice has gone unheard, but now, from a new corner, comes a voice demanding this change. George Washington’s family owned slaves so his name must go. Supporters of BLMM, including white members of Congress attempting to exorcise their inner-slave master, bandy names about like a badminton shuttlecock. Leaks suggest in the running was domestic terrorist and murderer John Brown, who attacked the federal arsenal at Harpers Ferry Virginia, (16-18 October 1859) to spark a slave rebellion and mass murder of whites. Then someone scrounged up a history book and discovered Brown was white. He is out of the running. Next the People’s Committee to Rename the Capital turned to Black Panther leaders Huey Newton, Bobby Seale, Eldridge Cleaver, and Angela Davis. Black and communists, would they not do? Newton, Seale, and Cleaver were male and Davis is heterosexual. Cross their names off the list. It seems this leaves only Maya Angelou.

In their Bolshevik-style redo of America, BLMM and its Communist ally, Pantifa⁷ want to replace the National Anthem as well. Rumor has it Soviet Russia’s anthem was proposed but once again the same problem reared its ugly head. White guys wrote it and pasty-skinned ones at that. Claims they are considering communist Zimbabwe’s national anthem remain unsubstantiated. BLMM has engaged in violence, riots, looting, and thuggery knowing that as long as they cloak it all in racial terms, cowed white liberals will do nothing. Worse, liberal professors, actors, actresses, and media personalities race to the airwaves to support these crimes as a way to purge their racism and white guilt. Like sharks tasting blood, BLMM asks, why stop now? To flex their political muscle, they need to make examples of people.

After committing the counterrevolutionary crime of expressing patriotism and pride in the flag of his country, New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees became that example. Black teammates and professional jocks in other sports descended upon Brees in furious rage over his racist crime. Caving in and submitting to reeducation, Brees recanted and apologized for his insensitive crime of being proud of family members who fought against the Nazis in WWII. Not wanting to suffer the same fate, Hollywood and corporations quickly and cravenly rushed to throw their necks into BLMMs guillotine. Legos deemed its toys featuring police stations, officers, and patrol cars so vile and racist, corporate cowards quickly yanked them from their product line. A & E Channel immediately canceled its popular Live PD TV show as if, like Brees and Legos, they are all inherently guilty of George Floyd’s indefensible death. When the people Americans depend on for courage and leadership, men and women of character, surrender without a fight, what chance is there people of lesser spine will stand for the truth? The decisions we make, when those decisions are difficult, define who and what we are. Dominos continued to fall.

Quaker Oats could not expunge Aunt Jemima’s face from its pancake mix boxes fast enough. I, like so many others, grew up with Aunt Jemima never once imputing negative stereotypes to her happy face. The same goes for Uncle Ben. Mars Incorporated is scrubbing his friendly face from their boxes of parboiled rice as well. Introduced in 1943, Uncle Ben has been a staple in kitchens for decades. To fight racism, companies must airbrush the faces of two iconic black people from food boxes? It gets worse.

Unbeknownst to kids growing up years ago, Mary Poppins and chimney sweep Dick van Dyke were racists. In the 1964 children’s classic, Mary Poppins (Julie Andrews) uses her magic to ascend a chimney with the kids she is babysitting to a rooftop above. Covered with soot, Mary commits the unpardonable sin of powdering her face making it darker to look like a chimney sweep. Then she dances across the rooftops with equally be-sooted Dick van Dyke. According to gonadectomized New York Times hyphenated editorialist Daniel Pollack-Pelzner, this is pure racism. White people in “black face” is an unacceptable form of racist mockery. Shame shame.⁸ Perhaps Pollack-Pelzner has been in cryostasis for a long time but black face fell out of favor in the 1930s. It made a few cameo appearances in early 1950s Hollywood films and then disappeared. It has been gone for some seventy years. I never saw or heard of black face as child hence, watching Mary Poppins, I made no connection between her soot smeared face and black people. Poppins was about to dance with a chimney sweep who naturally would have a carbon blackened face. It was a skit, a musical. Like subliminal messages Hollywood purportedly embedded throughout drive-in movies, one would have to strain very hard to find secret coded racist messages in Mary Poppins. Pollack-Pelzner’s white-guilt ridden garment rending lament, and that of other BLMM mouthpieces, makes it sound as if slavery ended last week. Perhaps someone should examine Julie Andrew’s performance in The Sound of Music for other hidden messages. Better yet, Pollack-Pelzner could write an expose about racist Kentucky coal miners emerging from beneath the ground in black face. How does scrubbing the faces of friendly black people from product boxes, banishing police shows from television, and violent protests, looting, and rioting save one black life in Baltimore, Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, Oakland, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and other cities? Maybe for BLMM, not all black lives matter.

Over Father’s Day weekend (2020) in Chicago, killers shot 104 people. Fourteen died including five children, a 3-year old, and a 13-year old girl. Almost all the victims and their killers were black.⁸ Liberals, like Democrat Party strategist Jessica Tarlov, appeared on news programs arguing the sudden tidal wave of black inner city violence was the natural consequence of people cooped up too long from China virus stay at home orders. Tension between family members leads to conflict, fights, and ultimately someone grabs a gun.⁹ If this were true, violence would be uniform across America including in white neighborhoods. However, this is not the case. It was limited almost entirely to Democrat run cities with large black populations. Over the same weekend, Detroit experienced 25 shootings with four dead. Police Chief Craig noted most were drive-by and targeted shootings. The same proved true for Chicago.¹⁰ Minneapolis, where its ultra-liberal government is dismantling its police department, witnessed 12 people shot with one dead. Most of those the hoods shot were standing in a crowd on a public street. A drive-by. In Syracuse, New York, thugs shot nine people who were at a large outdoor gathering. None of these shootings was between people cooped up too long.¹¹ It is clear that blacks are gunning down other blacks, including children and infants, every week in major cities, but no one marches for them. Are whites killing blacks in large numbers? In one place they are.

The majority of feminists promoting abortion and owners of abortion mills are white. Keeping this in mind, the abortion rate among black women in America is four times that of white women. On average, doctors abort 900 black babies every day [328,500 each year]. Considering black women make up approximately 7% of the U.S. population, and have 35.6% of all abortions, it is clear it is not the police blacks should fear but the white doctor holding a scalpel and vacuum hose.¹²

Freakonomics, authored by liberal University of Chicago and Yale professors Steven Levitt and John Donahue, respectively, was a 2005 bestseller. They argued abortion is a significant factor in reducing crime. Unwanted babies are typically born to black unwed mothers. Black males, growing up poor and fatherless, are much more likely to become violent criminals than kids who grow up in two-parent families. The U.S. Supreme Court legalized abortion on demand in 1973. According to Levitt, violent crime began dropping in 1991 because black kids, who would have turned eighteen that year, were never born.¹³ One would think a book arguing for the preemptive mass murder of unborn black babies as a crime-fighting tool would generate outrage leading to mass marches. It has not. Ultra-liberal MIT professor Jonathan Grueber, mover and shaker behind former President Obama’s socialized healthcare scheme, made the same argument as Levitt; abortion is an economic boon reducing welfare spending and the costs of America’s criminal justice system.¹⁴ Arguments that abortion of black children amounts to genocide are persuasive and our silence a form of complicity. Black and white people should be surrounding abortion mills not pulling down statues. Where is the outrage?

BLMM is a political movement. All black lives, especially those gunned down by other blacks and those killed by abortionists, do not matter to them, only those serving as expedient political props. BLMM’s insistence whites accept total blame and responsibility for all pathologies in the black community while refusing to acknowledge any responsibility on their part, sets up an impasse impossible to resolve. Whites cannot accept blame for racism and police brutality that is not occurring and nothing will ever change if those who are to blame for what is happening in black communities refuse to accept responsibility.

Do all black lives matter? Do black lives matter? Do family member’s lives matter to each other? Of course they do. Black folks have been part of America since the beginning. They are as much American as anyone. Yeah, but as slaves. Mechal Sobel, professor of history at the University of Haifa, Israel, argues regardless of condition of servitude, a natural result of blacks and whites interacting together was that blacks influenced and shaped white culture as much as the reverse. From architecture, food, lifestyles, and cultural values, blacks shaped what people perceive as “white” culture to the point they are inseparable.¹⁵ If so, that means, regardless of race, we are all family. A family that attends separate churches obviously has many problems to say the least. Nevertheless, being members of the same family is a much better starting point for understanding and reconciliation than the alternatives.

The Only Responders

We are coming up on the anniversary of the Hevron massacre. They occurred on the Shabbat of Parshat Eikev in 1929. It was a particularly brutal massacre. Some first hand accounts, and a detailed first hand account. I’ve written about the Hevron massacre before.

Go even further back, if this is all about the re-unification of Jerusalem in 1967 or the state of Israel in 1948, then why the Hevron massacre of 1929? The Haganah showed up in Hevron and told the residents they had knowledge that there would be an attack. Amin al-Husseini, the Mufti of Jerusalem, and good buddy of Hitler was inciting the riots. The citizens of Hevron turned down the protection protesting that they had lived in peace with their Arab neighbors for centuries. True, they had. However, that had been without incitement. They were afraid if the Haganah showed up it would “inflame” the situation and make it worse. Well, we know how that turned out. The British, who had control neither intervened to stop it, and in some cases, assisted the arabs in the slaughter.

Some things don’t change. Or over time, they change and begin to look like they have in the past. Some of that could have been written today. Left wing mayors saying they won’t take help from the federal government to stop peaceful rioters from destroying businesses, hopes, dreams and lives of taxpaying citizens. But they do want the federal dollars. As it’s been said many times, we are our own first responders. I believe that one to be more true than “You don’t need a gun, you can just call the police” which has also been said many times. Mostly by the people trying to disarm U.S. and also defund the police.

As we watch our country being ripped by Marxists products of the massive amount of liberals in the public education system and lack of actual teachers some things are becoming painfully apparent. You can’t always call the police. In some of my other columns recently I linked stories of a terrified driver with her child who was being stopped by peaceful rioters and called 9-1-1 only to be told it was a city sanctioned event and the police wouldn’t respond and she could complain to the city council. Another woman drove through the peaceful rioters who were outraged. They felt entitled to take over the streets and disrupt the lives and traffic patterns of law abiding citizens.

What is also becoming clear is that the law-enforcement that was meant to be the main institution of maintaining order and keeping a civil society civil is becoming unable to do so. They are under attack, often physically, from the peaceful rioters and leftist politicians who, more often than not, side with the peaceful rioters rather than the law-abiding citizens who pay the taxes, own the businesses and are just trying to go about their lives. They often leave their own officers out to dry as well. Those that support the police may well be abandoned by the very police they are trying to help. Recently Michelle Malkin and others at a Back The Blue rally were attacked by the peaceful rioters from antifa and black lives matter in Denver. And I mean physically attacked. The police were present, and they immediately did…..nothing. They were under a stand down order from Police Chief Pazen. Just like in 2016 when conservatives were often attacked physically during rallies and prayer meetings and the leftist police chiefs told officers to stand down and let it happen. And being “Good Germans” they allowed law-abiding citizens to be attacked and beaten by mobs.

Former NYC Police Chief Raymond Kelly (his son Greg has a TV show on Newsmax) has issued a warning to Jewish communities.

Kelly also spoke about the current New York policy requiring officers to stand down as a de-escalation measure, a policy with which he disagrees. He noted that the anti-crime units which the city once had were effective in reducing crime. Now, he says, more people are willing to challenge the police, which puts the most vulnerable faith group, the Jewish community, at high risk.

But as Yuri talked about in his video the left does eat their own useful idiots. And some of these people are seeing that happen. The McCloskey case in St. Louis is an example, the peaceful rioters who broke into their neighborhood and threatened them and their dog were attempting to find Demoncratic Mayor Lyda Krewson’s home so they could threaten her into resigning. Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best has been in the unenviable position of being Seattle’s Police Chief. And they have a liberal mayor and city council who have decided social justice is more important to them than law abiding tax payers. Chief Best sent this letter to residents.

Please also know that the City Council Ordinance 119805 Crowd Control Tool goes into effect this weekend on Sunday, July 26, 2020. This ordinance bans Seattle Police officers the use of less lethal tools, including pepper spray that is commonly used to disperse crowds that have turned violent. Simply put, the legislation gives officers NO ability to safely intercede to preserve property in the midst of a large, violent crowd.

It is important to bring to your attention that yesterday, I sent the City Council a letter ensuring them that as the Chief of Police, I have done my due diligence of informing them numerous times of the foreseeable impact of this ordinance on upcoming events. The letter is attached for your reference.

For these reasons, Seattle Police will have an adjusted deployment in response to any demonstrations this weekend – as I will never ask our officers to risk their personal safety to protect property without the tools to do so in a safe way.

It is becoming quite clear that there is a developing void and law-abiding citizens are being left out to dry.

And so citizens have been stepping into that void. It was armed citizens, her neighbors, that stopped antifa and blm from showing up at Chief Best’s house. This seems to be their newest tactic. Show up at politician and now officer’s homes.

I’d debate the “potential” as they had already defaced the Alamo Cenotaph.

One thing that kind of stands out is in many of these type of stories the media breathlessly (it seems to me) chronicles that the people that don’t want their town destroyed are white and they describe their clothing as if they are longing to be fashion reporters. Fashion reporters that have never been around military much and don’t really think too much of them.

So why do they need to be armed you ask? Portland: Women Defending Police Precinct Attacked by Antifa Terrorists Because two frail little old ladies, one of them on a walker attempted to stop the peaceful rioters from defacing the police precinct and one attempted to put out a fire that the rioters had started next to the building. They were both attacked and threatened. That’s what it looks like in a society where the weaker have no one to protect them, and the rule of law.

After the police dispersed the peaceful rioters from the precinct they went on to find other prey. Antifa Militants Rove Into Residential Parts of Portland, Assault a Woman at Her Home, Try to Blind Her with Lasers

The media is all in on pushing and advancing the racism narrative.

And when I say NOBODY, I mean NOBODY. Including criminals and gangs don’t want antifa and blm in their neighborhood with their peaceful riots.

The Crips in Longbeach, and I’m advising you, the language is, well, they are Crips.

There is also similar video of the Latin Kings in Chiraq running the peaceful rioters out of their neighborhood.

Armed citizens are more and more becoming not just the first responders, but the only responders.

As we head into Tisha B’Av, I have a few thoughts. Of course I do. Tisha B’Av is the day we re-feel the lose of the two Temples. The place where G-d said I want to live among you, build me a home. First the Mishkan in the desert, later the two Temples. Tisha B’Av is a 25 hour fast, and there are many customs that accompany the date.

I listened to a very interesting audio show the other day on a Podcast called “Soul Talk”, this episode dealt with the 9^th of Av.

The Cliff notes version: It wasn’t about the building, the Temple being destroyed because our behavior had already destroyed was it was about. The core and foundation of it were already weakened by our lack of realization of G-d’s presence within ourselves and others. How we related to ourselves and others. There were 3 key violations that were taking place within the populace at the time. If we sense the presence of G-d within ourselves, how do we relate to ourselves? If we sense the presence of G-d in others, how do we relate to them? The first Temple was destroyed because of 3 cardinal sins, murder, idolatry, and sexual perversion. Murder violates my relationship with others, idolatry violates my relationship with G-d and sexual perversion violates my relationship with myself. It all comes from the feeling is G-d with us? Is he within us? When that’s gone, everything is gone. What hope is there for a world that doesn’t believe in themselves, that doesn’t believe the human being is inherently valuable?

And contained within that, is lack of unity, a lack of cohesiveness. And are we ever there today. The continually changing rules on lockdowns, the stifling of data on actual scientific studies, the denial of information to the American people by big (leftist) corporations is having a horrifying effect on people.

I don’t know if this woman was crazy because she is re-breathing her own CO2, or if her mask fit too tight on her little head. But this woman felt it was her right to attack and mace a couple and their puppy having a little picnic outside in the sunshine and fresh air in a dog park. Why? Because they weren’t wearing masks while they had their little picnic. No one was around them, they were easily socially distancing over the 6 feet outside. Because, you know, safety right? It’s all about protecting lives……by screaming at innocent people, flipping them off and then macing them. Thank goodness neither of them seem to be asthmatic! Poor puppy, only 3 months old. I hope the police find the left wing dingbat and press charges. There is a video. This insane marxist feels entitled to act like this and commit assault in broad daylight. How many others have been so socially conditioned by the MSM #FakeNews to believe they will die and the world will end if free speech isn’t stifled and individuality isn’t stamped out? Masks for all!

Continuing further with the sense of entitlement we have those that block law abiding citizens from using public roads. Doesn’t matter if they are going to work, an ambulance running a call or taking their kid home from tap dance lessons. We’ve all I’m sure, seen the videos of the peaceful rioters attacking cars breaking windows and pulling the drivers out to be beaten. Heard the terrified people calling 9-1-1 begging for someone to come help them only to be told their city council has given approval for citizens to be attacked and the police will not come. We’ve heard children crying hysterically in the background as their parents are unable to protect them and they know it. And these “peaceful rioters” feel entitled to treat citizens in this manner.

We’ve probably all seen the video of the peaceful rioters trying to throw smoke grenades into horse trailers on the highway.

I don’t think there is any resolution to be reached with these people. And we aren’t suppose to compromise with evil. I do believe our country is at the edge of a precipice.

I believe our culture has descended into the darkness that is like when we lost the Temples. The 9^th of Av isn’t just about grieving the loss of them.

The Jerusalem Talmud states: “If the Holy Temple is not rebuilt in your lifetime, it’s as though it were destroyed in your lifetime.” The commentaries learn from this that the Temple’s destruction is an ongoing event.

I’m feeling the loss, I miss my Synagogue, I miss being in my community, I miss hearing Rabbi teach, I miss a ton of things and it’s all because we are missing the presence of the Beit HaMikdash.

We are ready, there is a organization The Temple Institute that has been training priests so they are ready, they are raising red heifers and have potential candidates, they have crafted the tools needed for the service. You can also see pictures.

In my last column I discussed how Communist Russia planned to take over America, via information revealed by Yuri Bezmenov, KGB defector. But this Marxism has many tentacles, so much evil has come together that the pot has more than boiled over.

I listened to a podcast recently from Avi Abelow, Avi was a compatriot of Ari Fuld’s HY”D. In this episode he had Barry Shaw, Senior Associate for Public Diplomacy at the Israeli Institute for Strategic Studies as his guest. Barry was discussing the threat BLM poses to the America of the past. It’s a show well worth listening to.

I personally don’t know anyone that supports racism, thinks it’s a good idea or wants more of it. But since the election of Barry Sotero which was supposed to show that racism in America was being healed it’s gotten worse. Barry took the chance to foment racial division, the war on Police and the take over of large parts of the economy ie the cellphone industry and healthcare to name a couple. I support an end to racism, going all directions.

Of course, some forms are acceptable. From January 2020

I do think some are unaware of what Black Lives Matter really stands for, and what their goals are. Yes, black lives matter, ALL lives matter. Apparently that is now a rraaaccciiisst statement. But one of the things Barry Shaw brought out was the founding and founders of BLM.

In this column there is embedded a video of one of the founders, Patrisse Cullors, stating they are trained Marxists. There is more about who trained the founders, and who the are working with. Helpful hint, if your Dad and your brother repeatedly wind up in jail, perhaps the problem isn’t the police? Apparently ideological theories also include “Give us what we want or we burn it down”. No matter who it hurts, black owned business or black employees.

You know, if statures of Lincoln and George Washington, Ulysses Grant and an abolitionist are being torn down, it’s a pretty good clue this has nothing to do with slavery. Remember just a few short years ago when people opined that the attacks on statues would soon extend past those of the Confederacy and the Confederate flag to others and they were told to take off their tin foil hats? On my 91^st day of employment with Lockheed Missiles and Space, Sunnyvale, California, I became a member of Local 508, Machinist and Aerospace Workers’ Union, an AFL-CIO affiliate. How odd considering I hadn’t joined and, I’m not even a Democrat. When asked about this, my manager said union membership was a condition of employment. What? Who hired me, Lockheed or the Union? He answered; “Lockheed,” but “the contract negotiated between the company and union stipulates all non-managerial employees automatically become union members after 90 days. Dues are also deducted automatically from your paycheck.” But, I’m the one who found, pursued, and won this job with no help from anyone else, thank you, I protested. “If you quit the union, you’ll be fired” was his response. Well, if there’s no choice in the matter, why not attend the meetings? What an eye opener.

It could have been a B-grade movie; Clash of the Hillbillie Pig Roast Meets Angry Biker Bar. Venomous “Us versus them” class-warfare invective laced with hatred of management, the college educated, and rich people, were hurled back and forth like darts, each adding his own poison to the tips. So asinine and uneducated were the inflamed assertions and chanted slogans, they placed validity for each member’s high school diploma in jeopardy. It was eerily reminiscent of the simpleminded claptrap spouted by ignorant, backward, and gullible unionized Appalachian hillbillies, an area where once I had the misfortune to live. Superstitious and highly combustible with conspiratorial rumors,¹ they fought to keep wages up with threats of strikes even during President Carter’s wretched economy. They drove one business after another from the region ensuring it remained trapped in a quicksand-like poverty of their own making. At least Local 508 members could read, they had a newsletter.

It was a masterpiece organ of radical rage-filled propaganda; 100% pure liberal Democrat Party politics demonizing free markets and every Republican ever born. It wouldn’t have shocked me to find Vladimir Lenin, raised from the grave, passing out Hammer and Sickle armbands at meetings. My union brothers would’ve made Fascist dictator Benito Mussolini proud. Italy’s flamboyant dictator, fave among American intellectuals, adopted Georges Sorel’s Syndicalism which held revolutionaries could only achieve power through organizing and radicalizing trade-unions. Thereafter, “society could be divided by professional sectors of the economy” organized into guilds or unions.² On 7 August, 2018, Missourians, walking in the steps of Mussolini’s Fascists, took a giant step back from freedom toward that goal voting no on Prop A.

The very idea one’s neighbors could vote in the first place on conditions of employment, including union membership, using instrumentalities of government to force their will on others, is obnoxious to the very notion of liberty. Forced unionism is unconstitutional and as anti-freedom as it is anti-American. Above market union wages are sustained only by restricting other’s access to employment. It means limiting, not expanding jobs thus crushing the state economy. Clinging to a bankrupt and an anachronistic 1930s socialist economic model ensures Missouri will remain mired in longsuffering stagnant economic growth. It translates into thousands of lost jobs, a flat-line tax base, and few opportunities beyond the agricultural sector as companies, deciding it makes economic sense to avoid forced union states, go elsewhere. Seeking job opportunities, Missouri’s young will have to leave as well. To survive, businesses that remain will replace union workers with robots and illegal aliens. Way to go guys. Is it possible those voting “no” on Prop-A are so self-centered or such dolts they don’t realize union dues provide the major source of funding for the Democrat Party? The same party that elects politicians determined to abolish the 2^nd Amendment and outlaw the firearms you possess? I understand autoworker and bulldozer Bolsheviks may be too selfish to consider the rights of fellow Missourians and pesky ideas like freedom, but what happened to the rest of you? If you voted “no” on Prop A, don’t dare tell me you also support the 2^nd Amendment because the latter is a Constitutional right. No sir. You’re either ignorant or a hypocrite no different than Gun-Confiscationist liberals supporting only those parts of the Constitution furthering their agenda. How dare you claim support for liberty when you’re so willing to deny it to others. If you voted for forced unionism, don’t ask me to work with you on any cause from this day forward. You’ve disgraced yourselves and you’ve disgraced your state. Well, well, I see minimum wage (socialism) and medical marijuana (first step toward total legalization, like Potorado) are on the November ballot. Gee, I wonder how people will vote. At my age I’ve learned looking the other way with respect to even the smallest injury to liberty and compromising with fools only begets less liberty and more fools. Thank God we can still vote with our feet.

If not already busy with a coalition to Save Our Dime, by removing Constitution-hating FDR’s visage off its face, as well as the Committee to Re-Name Washington, D.C., because, after all, George shouldn’t be saddled with connection to that stinking crime scene on a hill, yet a new cause beckons.

With labor union and Democrat stronghold Baltimore at is epicenter, Maryland is unlikely to ever glow red instead of blue. Ironically, Ronald Reagan won my home state (Go TERPS!) in 1980 and again in 1984 with 52.51 to Mondale’s 47.02 percent of the vote. Although Reagan carried 22 of 23 counties (Prince Georges the lone reprobate), the election was still close.³ This demonstrates a perversion of representative democracy in which populous urban centers inhabiting tiny areas, dictate law and policy to geographically vastly larger surrounding suburban and rural areas possessing significantly different cultural, religious, social, and political values. America’s founding fathers would be appalled. They didn’t fight a long bloody war in order to reestablish a form of tyranny just overthrown. Regrettably the Reagan Revolution was followed by the equivalent of worn brakes; unable to stop and disinclined to slow government’s inexorable massive growth and leftward trajectory, known as the Bushes. Once residual Reaganites were rounded up and banished to the hinterlands, conservative ramparts were scaled and breached crumbling under enormous pressure from hordes of Liberal Northeastern Carpetbaggers swarming to the Old Line State swelling government in Washington, D.C. to corpulent Jabba the Hut size. The effect was that of parasites feeding on a helpless host imparting a fatal infection. We never had a chance. With stocks of conservative anti-biotic exhausted, parasites flung aside their drained and emaciated host oozing across the border into Virginia. Soon it too was stricken with the dread liberal infection brought by Carpetbaggers who understand they have but to outnumber natives by one vote in any district to win elections. Once in power, their policies soon led to a huge influx of illegal aliens who know for which party to vote, wink wink. And so the fever raged destroying a former bastion of liberty home to greats like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Robert E. Lee. Now the Carpetbaggers are on the move again heading further south into North Carolina. Callers to a recent radio program from Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina shared tales of woe wrought by what Liberal Carpetbaggers had done to their once fair and free states. Callers from Illinois and New York chimed in explaining most of their state’s counties were fairly conservative but, due to swollen population centers, Chicago, New York, and the liberal pustules inhabiting them, they live under a boot of tyranny holding in contempt their cultural, social, and religious values. Hence I’ve been asked to support LCBICA, the Liberal Carpet Bagger Immigration Control Act. For what’s left of free America to survive, people must unite, drive liberal Carpetbaggers from their states, and take power back from workshop socialist unions. It’s a matter of life and death. Watch your borders. Be vigilant. Watch your borders.

For the Left, everything is political. Nothing exists outside their ideology. Any cause they support, from abortion to minimum wage, is done to further the Great Project; bringing all aspects of human activity, social, economic, religious, and political under state control. And they are the state. For this to work, American government must be transformed from a federal into a national system. Check that one off the list. They must overturn the Constitution subordinating all local and state political activities to “federal”⁴ control. In order to trick Americans into accepting their vision for a Brave New World, Leftists teach false narratives to America’s youth filling their heads with lies about the nation’s founding principles, and censoring out anything undermining this indoctrination. Good guys become boogeymen and boogeymen become the good guys. The same holds true with the Left’s war on the police. It’s nothing personal, it’s an agenda.

Black Lives Matter (BLM) is one of the radical Left’s hammers against Western values. Created by Marxist Lesbians, BLM propagates the false narrative white America, acting through armed surrogates, the police, is waging a war of genocide against black America. They preach, and their stooges in the white liberal media repeat, the preposterous assertion the moment a black man steps from his residence, he must run for his life because he’s hunted by gun-slinging mad-dog white men driving pickup trucks adorned with Trump stickers and Confederate Battle Flags. Spitting tobacco juice and swilling Bud-Lite, these unshaven rednecks in BBQ stained ‘Wife-Beaters’ scour the highways and byways looking for black men to drag through the streets, chained to the back of their trucks or to shoot down as target practice. And dadgummit, if one should slip through their fingers, thank God for America’s racist white cops,⁵ they’ll get them, by Jiminy. This delusional fantasy is separated from reality as far as possible. For those accusing me of being hyperbolic, have you spent time on websites for groups like BLM, Pantifa, the New Black Panthers, and others? Were you ever a cop? Did you ever live in Baltimore or Philadelphia’s inner cities as I did? If so, you’d know who has to be scared stepping through their front door. Hint; it’s not who BLM says it is. Why is it so important for liberal teachers to fill the minds of young kids with guilt over being white? If they can be made to feel responsible for all that has gone wrong in minority communities, how much more amenable will they be to the radical socialist agenda when of age to vote? The ludicrous claim Trump’s, “Make America Great,” slogan is secret code promising followers a return to slavery⁶ has already had its intended effect among Millennials.

Liberals promised Barrack Obama’s election would bridge and transcend racial divides thus bringing about racial healing. Would that it were true. Born in Hawaii and growing up there and in Indonesia, Obama as president attempted to appropriate the American “Black experience,” which he was never part of, allowing him to cast critics of his socialist agenda as racists. His administration became “the most anti-law enforcement administration in memory.” From Milwaukee to Baltimore, crime sky-rocketed and “Homicides in the country’s 50 largest cities rose nearly 17 percent in 2015, the greatest surge in fatal violence in a quarter of a century” reversing a “two-decade long decline.”⁷ In addition, murders of police officers, by ambush and direct assault, spiked dramatically under Obama. “Root-cause liberals” who never shy from blaming everyone but themselves for failed government policies, naturally singled out poverty, unemployment, and racism, especially police oppression, to explain horrifying crime rates in America’s inner cities.⁸ And how did they explain the fearful spike in murder of police officers? Many on the left claim cops have it coming. When minorities kill cops, its self-defense, justifiable homicide.⁹ This attitude; cops deserve to be killed because they’re the bad guys who gun-down blacks in cold blood, continued unabated even after the facts about the execution style murder of two New York police officers became widely disseminated in the news and on social media.¹⁰ Liberal’s method to address root-cause solutions to crime, throwing billions of other people’s dollars at poverty and unemployment, failed. Inner-city crime remains epidemic.¹¹ They failed because they’re based on false premises refusing to address the fact 94 percent of blacks are killed by other blacks not whites or cops.¹²

Substantial political dividends accrue to liberals capable of enforcing Party (Democrat) discipline engendered through fear-mongering and lies. For leftists, including college professors and young Marxist revolutionaries, racial division stoked to red-hot hatred and violence is the vanguard of the long hoped for ignition of revolution in America. BLM and their white supporters claim incarceration of blacks represents a plot to put them in concentration camps. Through drug laws, whites are “re-enslaving black Americans.” Liberals especially target “discretionary policing” meaning stopping and checking out “suspicious looking people” (if you’re a cop, you know one when you see one), before they can commit crimes. New York City’s “stop and frisk” program drastically reduced crime under Mayor Rudolph Giuliani. But liberal court challenges and protests against “profiling,” forced cops to back off. Now crime is out of control again and “a blood bath ensued and its victims were virtually all black.” When police back off, its “black people themselves who pay the greatest price.”¹³ In addition if anyone tells the truth, the liberal media, Hollywood, and Leftist Pop-Culture, spring into action destroying critics with accusations of racism, the kiss of death these days. The media hounding Trump’s every step, never took Obama to task for his words and connection to subsequent racial violence in America.

Today white leftists push blacks to react with aggressive hostility and combativeness, including resisting arrest, when stopped by police. This makes the job much more dangerous for cops and increases the likelihood low-risk encounters explode into major scuffles. The type that lead to use of deadly force. But the left doesn’t care about the blacks it pushes to physically resist cops. They serve as props in the narrative white cops are waging war against blacks with revolution the only solution. Kind of reminds me of the 1960s. Fear and distrust have been promoted so heavily by the Left, it has spawned feelings of anger and resistance in black communities who now see all encounters with police as resulting from racism by whites attempting to control and suppress them. Anger against whites has birthed the “knock-out” game in which a black youth walks up to an unsuspecting white person punching him or her as hard as possible in the head trying to knock them out with one blow. Witnessed by many and broadcast throughout social media, nevertheless the white liberal media refuses to report on it because to do so would undermine the false narrative of a white war on blacks.¹⁴

For those arguing; but look at all the whites marching with BLM, keep in mind BLM views white liberals as individuals who have internalized and are blind to their racism. Conservatives, on the other hand, are openly and shamelessly racist. For blacks who believe all problems within their community are the result and fault of the legacy of slavery and Jim Crow, “good and bad” whites are simply opposite sides of the same racist coin. The good ones are to be used and discarded.¹⁵ As for crimes committed by blacks, including O.J. Simpson, knock-out games, and violence in Kansas City’s Plaza,¹⁶ these are seen as collective acts of self-defense against an oppressive white society holding all the reins of power.¹⁷

In response to the Grand Jury’s decision not to indict officer Darren Wilson in the Ferguson, Missouri shooting of Michael Brown, President Obama said he understood the disappointment and anger in the black community. He made no mention of the rule of law or that a grand jury investigation ruled Wilson’s shooting was justifiable self-defense. Riots, looting, and assaults followed.¹⁸ Obama essentially declared the facts and forensic evidence didn’t matter. The white man was always guilty, no matter what, a view Obama had come to internalize as a youth.¹⁹ For example, Obama blamed Michael Brown’s shooting and riots on “lack of diversity” within the Ferguson Police Department, not the actions of Brown and those burning and looting.²⁰ At the time, Obama’s remarks seemed foolish and naïve. They weren’t. They express the same view as BLM; white people are born inherently racist and are the cause of all problems in all minority communities, thereby exculpating any crime committed by any black person no matter the circumstances. Without accepting that this is the point of view held by many in the debate on race and crime, it’s impossible to understand what is really driving the Left’s agenda.

Before a drop of water fell from the skies, two outcomes were predictable with respect to recent hurricanes (Texas and Puerto Rico); looters would issue forth from the muck they inhabit and Leftists would grandstand commonplace weather events claiming manmade global warming as their cause. Now racism has been added to the mix. White journalist and author Sarah Jaffe declared on social media the Miami Police Department’s warning against looting demonstrates that; “The carceral (sic) [Spanish for jail or prison] state…is inseparable from white supremacy.”² Aren’t assumptions by liberals that looters are black racist? In any criminal investigation police ask who had a motive, how would they profit? Ever wonder why shrill proponents of man-made global warming typically are socialists and enemies of the 2^nd Amendment? Don’t see the connection? You should, they’re pounding this stuff into your kid’s heads at school. How would Leftists profit from American’s acceptance of manmade global warming? They say big problems require big government solutions but it’s really about surrendering individual liberty to the State and that mean’s them. Doesn’t anyone read anymore?³ The predictability of post-disaster looting these days is a sad commentary on societal degradation…like school shootings. After any major disaster, natural or manmade, can police protect people or are they on their own?⁴ Well, how are they doing now in the face of increasingly organized violence and riots? The Liberal Media, called “steno-pool typists for the Democrat Party” by radio talk show host Chris Plante, push narratives of police brutality against blacks causing inner-city “unrest” but are these narratives valid? In part one I began addressing whether or not it’s true the police, as charged, target black males for oppression and murder on behalf of the white race. This claim, dropped like napalm over inner-cities by the Left, ensures any encounter between police and blacks has the potential to explode into general violence and chaos.

Many in the Black community blame problems between races on the refusal of whites to even talk about race relations. Obama’s former Attorney General and international gun-runner Eric Holder (known in some circles as “Carlos the Jackass”) said America was a “nation of cowards” when it came to discussing race relations. Whites won’t discuss it. In addition, he claimed animus directed toward him and Obama was based on white racism.⁵ As a teacher, under a cloud of suspicion for being a, (cover your children’s ears) conservative, I was asked my opinion of Obama by students and colleagues. According to Holder, honesty and openness is the best way to promote race relations. Had I explained Obama, raised a communist, was waging a war against the principles contained in the Declaration of Independence and Constitution, was deconstructing America’s Judeo-Christian foundations, hated the traditional family, and was dismantling economic policies that made America wealthy, wouldn’t my honesty have been a step toward “openness”? No, instead I’d have been branded a racist.⁶ For Holder and Leftists, the only acceptable starting point for discussions of race, crime, and the police is their perspective otherwise you’re automatically deemed a racist. Recall Obama’s claim lethal interactions between the police and black males stemmed from racism on the part of white officers? Was he right? Are police really the gravest threat to black males in America?

Consider the work of liberal University of Chicago and Yale professors Steven Levitt and John Donahue, respectively, whose national best seller, Freakonomics claims aborting black babies reduces crime. They argue unwanted and children born to single moms are typically black and more likely to grow up to become criminals. They conclude the 1973 Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion, (Roe v. Wade) is responsible for reducing crime in the 1990s because aborted black babies weren’t around to turn 18 in 1991 and commit crimes.⁷ M.I.T. professor Jonathan Grueber, Liberal mover and shaver behind Obama’s socialized national healthcare, reached the same conclusion.⁸ Levitt, Donahue, Grueber, and others within the population control movement, Leftists all, argue America can save itself a lot of trouble and money by ensuring black babies are never born. Liberals are the ones fanatically pushing abortion which typically takes the life of unborn black babies at a rate four times that of white babies. Nine hundred black babies are aborted every day in the U.S which comes out to 328,500 per year. Considering black women make up around 7% of the U.S. population, and have 35.6% of all abortions,⁹ one has to wonder why its angry bitter middle-aged liberal white women pushing abortion so hysterically. The ghosts of Sudan and Rwanda cry out. And then there is the inner-city homicide rate. By 26 July 2017, Baltimore, my old stomping ground,¹⁰ had reached 200 homicides¹¹ with 27 in a 30 day period between 11 August and 11 September, 2017.¹² They weren’t shot, stabbed, or bludgeoned to death by the police. So who then is waging war against blacks? BLM insists its cops acting as executioners on behalf of the white race.

According to Black journalist and author Taleeb Starkes, perhaps as detrimental to race relations as white indifference, if not worse, is the “Racial Grievance Industry.” This “industry,” consisting of BLM, NBP, SPLC, certain black politicians, and white dominated Left-wing organizations blame everything from black on black violence, poor education, and unemployment on white racism. Starkes asks; how can this can be true considering municipal governments, schools, police, and social programs in Baltimore, Detroit, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and other cities have been controlled not by whites but by black Democrats for decades? But BLM-RGI dismiss this fact claiming all problems afflicting the black community are the legacy and consequence of white racism. Starkes calls this the “Theory of Exploitivity”; any conflict between races is, always was, and always will be the result of white racism. Leftist mouthpieces for BLM-RGI; white college professors and the liberal media, assert “Racism is the end-all-be-all explanation” for problems in the black community therefore “no fact finding mission is necessary.” Any effort, study, and or investigation of problems within the black community whose starting point does not begin with the presumption of white racism as the root cause, is racist. End of discussion.¹³ For example, economist Thomas Sowell is black but his observation of a correlation between fatherless homes and Baltimore rioters and looters is considered racist if uttered by a white person¹⁴ and treasonous heresy if uttered by members of the black community.¹⁵ This echoes my experiences with liberals coast to coast; the only reason anyone could disagree with them is because they’re narrow-minded, racist, a Nazi, and stupid. Before dialogue on race relations is possible, promoters of the “Theory of Exploitivity” demand whites accept that they are inherently racist from birth and the cause of all problems between the races, then we’ll talk.¹⁶ In tandem with the RGI, white Liberals promote the notion simply being born a minority, race, sex, culture, or religion automatically renders one a victim of discrimination and racism by the dominant group, white males. Critical analysis of this presumption is taboo especially on college campuses where students enjoy an environment supportive of the free exchange of ideas.¹⁷ When debate on racial issues must begin with a stipulation of white guilt as the singular cause for all problems, is it any wonder BLM shrieks with outrage when others say; “all lives matter?”

Today, suburban middle class whites are told their comfortable gold-plated golf and tennis country-club lives are the result of slavery, exploitation, and colonial oppression of black and brown peoples. Indoctrination begins in grade school where little white children are taught they’re members of a privileged class who ensure their status atop the social and political hierarchy by denying participation in the good-life to all but members of their own race. This explains why whites want to build the “wall.” Playing on guilt instilled through brainwashing, this Marxist world-view is heavily promoted by Hollywood, by comedians, professional athletes, pop-singers, and reinforced by the Liberal Media and their handmaidens, Leftwing public school teachers. It takes little effort by college professors to administer the coup-de-grace teaching because white prosperity is built on racist exploitation, blacks are justified in rioting and looting. They are simply re-appropriating what was stolen from them in the first place. In addition, they teach, because whites control all institutions of political power, any problem in non-white communities must be the fault of whites.¹⁸ Your tax dollars at work.

Do not mistake BLM for a traditional civil rights organization. They’re not. They clash often with the old guard of the civil rights movement rejecting the non-violence of Dr. Martin Luther King in favor of belligerent confrontation and mob violence. Yusra Khogali, co-founder of the Toronto, Canada, BLM chapter declared the movement rejects the goals and tactics of the “old-guard” who led the civil rights movement in the 1960s. They reject equality, integration, and assimilation into mainstream American culture and life. Instead, they want revenge obtained through violence. Even Left-wing black “leaders” from Al Sharpton to Oprah Winfrey are denounced for not embracing violent revolution and vengeance against the white race.¹⁹ As for young (big surprise) whites seen marching with BLM, regardless of how much they sacrifice to the cause, they’re still considered racists by BLM and similar organizations. Being Caucasian means sharing collective guilt for any act of racism ever committed by any white person who ever lived, at any time in history. Therefore Caucasians are irredeemably racist.

Read BLM’s words for yourselves: “We are working to (re)build the Black Liberation movement.”²⁰ Liberation from what? During the 1960s, the “Black Power” movement and members of various “Black Liberation” organizations, led by Max Stanford, Stokely Carmichael, Jim Forman, Malcolm X, H. Rap Brown, Willie Ricks, Eldridge Cleaver, Huey Newton, Bobby Seale, and others broke away from Martin Luther King calling for violent confrontation and revolution against white power structures and rejected King’s notions of “universal brotherhood.” Living in Northwest Philly at the time, how could I forget their pernicious influence? Like BLM, they were black segregationists demanding nothing short of war, violence, revenge, and ultimate separation from the white race.²¹ In their minds because all aspects of American life; family, education, culture, law enforcement, and government comprise institutionalized racism, revolution and separation is the only answer to liberate and free the black race. The success, direction, and fate of black people must be wrested from the control of white hands.²² The goals of the Black Liberation movement, embraced by BLM and allies, are exclusive. Whites making common cause will be accepted, used, and discarded. No place exists for the white man in their brave new world.

BLM makes no bones about being at war with the white race. They declare their movement is an “ideological and political intervention in a world where Black lives are systematically targeted for demise.”²³ Remarkably they are in a sense, correct. Black males are being targeted for extermination but, by other black males not the police or members of the white race! They claim Trayvon Martin’s “murder” (sic) by George Zimmerman was the catalyst for creation of BLM. Martin’s case was an example of police and white vigilantes on patrol looking for blacks to “murder.” BLM also attacks “black nationalism” and campaigns to “buy black” because it ignores “our sisters, queer and trans” blacks. They affirm “the lives of black queer and trans folks, disabled folks, black-undocumented folks” black felons and convicts, and blacks all “along the gender spectrum.”²⁴ Their worldview, seen through a Marxist-Lesbian lens, claim poverty in the black community is the consequence of genocide executed through a government controlled by whites. Blacks are in prison not because they’ve committed violent crimes you see, but are innocent victims rounded up by the state for internment in concentration camps. They assert “Black queer and trans folk bear a unique burden from a hetero-patriarchal society that disposes of us like garbage and simultaneously fetishizes us and profits off of us, and this is state violence.” Does this sound like people organized simply to ensure fair treatment from the police or does a much larger agenda emerge? Their societal model is a female-led communal village, rejection of the traditional Western family (pre-1980s..ish), and their slogan is “justice, liberation, and peace” identical to the slogan of Soviet inspired Communist guerrilla movements of Africa, Asia, Southeast Asia, and Latin America in the last century. They promise to dismantle “cis-gender privilege” and free black society from the grip of heterosexuality.²⁵ This is about Trayvon Martin?

Its clear reading BLM, NBP, and SPLC propaganda these movements aren’t about improving race relations or diffusing mistrust between blacks and the police. It’s about revolution. Communist revolution, baby. They want conflict, they want confrontation, and they want violent upheaval. Alleged white racism and police brutality are boogeyman myths effective in harnessing support in the black community, forming alliances with radical communist groups like Pantifa,²⁶ guilt ridden whites, and neutering opposition by menacing them with being damned a racist. Bitter fruit has already been harvested in the ambush and assassination of police officers by suspects high on BLM propaganda and hatred. But what of all the stories about cops shooting unarmed innocent blacks? Stay tuned.

Law and Order: Western Society Under Siege Part 1

A teachable moment. There are various ways to define this experience. In the classroom it results from the serendipitous confluence of an opportunity to teach a concept with an extrinsic factor sparking student interest driving a heretofore un-manifested desire to learn that concept.¹ In short, a lightbulb comes on. What could cause students, generally apathetic toward learning, to suddenly sit up and take notice? For an English class it might be a guest speaker, author J.K. Rowling explaining the secret of her success (Harry Potter) while others failed. Perhaps a notable personage drops in on a socialIST studies class explaining his rise from humble origins to political prominence or, in Phys-Ed, becoming an Olympic athlete. At that moment teachers enjoy rapt attention from their charges hoping it inspires seemingly average students to reach their full potential. How true must this be for science teachers beholding a once in a lifetime celestial event; a solar eclipse. As totality approached, the happy faces of kids conducting experiments under the beaming guidance of science teachers, appeared on television in the Kansas City metropolitan area. A teachable moment. But not so in Lee’s Summit. Alleging concern for student safety, its fearless administrators, shepherds of your children, Henny Penny like shut down the entire district, added an extra day to the end of the school year and…hid.

The pros and cons of writing this series were carefully weighed. On the one hand, racists might distort and misuse research provided herein to promote noxious agendas. Today it seems people in general consider hatred of others based on race irrational and repugnant. But the reality remains; hatred of those not members of one’s “tribe” stretches back to the dawn of mankind. The wrong events at the wrong time might transform ancient animosities into violent action. No reasonable person wants that. But on the other hand, there are those who, for political and personal reasons, have declared any observation reflecting negatively on ethnic, racial, sexual, or religious groups, regardless of how scientific and true, as beyond the bounds of discussion. To do so constitutes unacceptable “hate-speech” the trade of extremist racial supremacists, never to be countenanced.

Discussing race and crime is to enter a metaphorical no-man’s land laced with tripwires, landmines, and booby-traps. Automatic accusations of racism, hatred, and intolerance, regardless of how baseless, are to be assumed. Even for those making good faith attempts at mutual understanding may, if failing to recognize and validate other points of view, find themselves talking past each other leading to hurt feelings, rancor, and confirmation the other person holds racist attitudes. For example, many if not all whites probably reject the idea they are racists. When apprised of the epidemic of young black males killing each other in cities like Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia, some respond with indifference. After all, it’s not happening in their neighborhoods and what can they do anyway? Fair enough but lack of concern can be interpreted as stemming from racism toward those not like them. Still others, perhaps desensitized by media coverage of urban bloodbaths and Hollywood’s glamorization of gang violence, shrug their shoulders saying, “that’s what those people do,” or “there’s nothing we can do, it’s a black thing.” For them the film Escape from New York is probably desirably prophetic. Ignorant and callous, the latter attitude can justifiably be interpreted as racist by the black community. No genetic predisposition toward violence exists among any race. It is a learned behavior (think Vikings and modern Swedish males for example). How could anyone calling himself a Christian embrace such attitudes? Who can claim to love God and hate his brother?²

Indifference and ignorance provide no starting point for dialogue. They consign victims of violent crime to ongoing misery. Americans in general are probably familiar with the Jonbenet Ramsey case. She was a six year old blonde haired blue eyed beauty pageant queen, killed sometime on 25 or 26 December 1996. Her case remains unsolved. How many, even in the Kansas City area, know who Machole “Coco” Stewart was? Aged 10, she was sitting on the couch with her family watching the 2014 World Series when a gunman sprayed their house with bullets. Her murder was also unsolved.³ Regardless of the Ramsey case’s celebrity status being driven by Americans obsessed with living vicariously through others, to some degree blacks believe the lives of little white kids, especially Scandinavian in appearance, matter more than those of black children. Blacks to some degree embrace the notion of “white privilege” believing because of their race, whites automatically have a leg up on everyone else when it comes to employment, professional advancement, and especially social acceptance.⁴ In my last year as a teacher, a black senior, one of the coolest most intelligent kids I ever had the privilege to teach, told me he, his family, and every black person he knew didn’t consider themselves “Americans” because white society rejected and excluded them. My point is not to argue whether any of this is true or to what degree it might or might not be. Instead, it’s to demonstrate races come to the table with uniquely different experiences and perspectives. If we categorically reject each other’s viewpoint from the start, any hope of dialogue, understanding, and reconciliation is lost. Prejudices on all sides become reinforced. This serves no one’s interest.

When I was a young man at the university, J-M, a friend and brilliant student now a prominent Baltimore attorney, postulated the “Axe-to-Grind” theory of historical interpretation. Before reading books on history and politics, he examined their dust jackets. Autobiographical information can unmask biases affecting an author’s historical interpretation or reveal they wrote simply to “deconstruct” another historian’s work hence, “an axe to grind.” No historian is objective, neutral, or unbiased. The collection, sifting and assemblage of historical evidence and data is naturally designed to validate the author’s interpretation shaping final analysis and conclusions. The same holds true for groups defending the police against accusations of profiling and racism and those making the accusations. M’s Postulate requires full disclosure on my part. I was a policeman but I also grew up partly in Baltimore and Philadelphia’s inner cities, attended predominantly black schools, was poor, and have sported a “natural tan” from birth. I may be in a better position to take an objective as possible look at race and crime than lily-white liberal journalists whose only encounter with minorities is the one cleaning their Five-Star hotel room. This brings me to the central question of this series; as claimed by Black Lives Matter (BLM) and certain Leftist professors, do white police officers represent the tip of the majority race’s spear in waging a war to oppress, suppress, and even murder black people? Are police officers the greatest threat to black men in America? Or, is this pure fiction crafted by the radical left and members of the black community who benefit politically from this claim?

According to Black Lives Matter, (BLM) a loud aggressively confrontational organization, white cops are indeed waging a war of terrorism against the black race.⁵ Their webpage credo under the section titled “We Affirm That All Black Lives Matter” is, “Black lives matter is an ideological and political intervention in a world where Black lives are systematically and intentionally targeted for demise. It’s an affirmation of Black folk’s contributions to this society, our humanity, and our resilience in the face of deadly oppression.”⁶ Make no mistake about it, BLM believes cops, assassins for white America, are engaged in a conspiracy to murder innocent black people. Because white America is engaged in genocide, resistance by any means, including preemptive action, is warranted. This begs the question; if BLM believes this genocidal campaign is sanctioned by the U.S. government, how might they ultimately respond?⁷ Clicking on text-boxes exposes what BLM is really about. Under “Black Villages” it reads; “We are committed to disrupting the Western prescribed nuclear family structure requirement supporting each other as extended families and ‘villages’ that collectively care for one another especially ‘our’ children to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.”⁸ These Marxist code-words comprise a root and branch assault on Judeo-Christian values and principles including the family unit as ordained by God. BLM wants to destroy this order, including the biological distinctness of the male and female sexes, in favor of fluid Hermaphrodicity. Children are to belong to the “collective” ultimately meaning the state…like North Korea. Rather than recreating a notional semi-communal African village living in harmony and with the rhythms of nature (descriptive for all peoples at one time), they envision a neo-Marxist female dominated pagan fertility cult.

BLM believes America is ruled by the white race solely for its benefit. Traditional “Western” institutions identified with the white race include: Christianity, the family, law, schools, military, police, and government. They constitute hierarchical structures erected to preserve white rule and suppress challenges to this arrangement. Any institution or belief deemed “Western” is by nature de facto racist, oppressive, and must be overthrown. Don’t scoff or sneer at this idiocy for it’s what they are teaching your kids at the university. Arguing the contrary self-identities and condemns a student as guilty of racism. BLM and Leftist professors believe police and the criminal justice system are the agents of enforcement for the white hierarchy. Because racism is considered inherent in all whites, as if genetic, regardless of what they do in support of “black” causes, it won’t matter. Nothing can purge their “guilt.” BLM and like-minded groups believe to compete with whites in the social, economic, and political arena is a waste of time because, until white dominance is eliminated, there can be no level playing field. Leftist white professors have been teaching this view as contemporary social reality for decades. Is it any wonder young whites graduate from college feeling guilt over their middle and upper class backgrounds? They fail to realize it’s not really about race it’s about seizing political power which is done through inculcating a Leftist world view in the minds of America’s young. Race-guilt renders them impotent to challenge Marxist paradigms.⁹ They have been taught that to criticize or oppose any aspect of any movement dominated by blacks and other minorities, no matter how extreme their behavior and rhetoric, flows from supremacist colonial white attitudes. How many young Millennials breathed a sigh of relief voting for Obama because it proved they weren’t racist?

Since BLM came to the fore, people from all backgrounds have insisted all lives matter regardless of race. But BLM, the “New” Black Panthers, and their allies reject this claim contending people who say this are typically white, live in predominantly white areas, and associate only with other whites. BLM’s counterattack against universal brotherhood, supported by young white Millennials writing for liberal publications desperate to prove they aren’t racists, claims all lives do not matter because there is “demonstrative evidence that black lives matter less than white lives to the criminal justice system (and the American government as a whole).” This assertion is based on comparisons between white and black incarceration rates as well as grandstanding relatively rare police shootings of black men as routine, the norm.¹⁰ Comparisons without context can be used to shape and mold desired narratives. For example during an in-service at Lee’s Summit High school, an assistant principal upbraided teachers for a disparity in office referrals for rules infractions, behavior problems, and classroom disruptions between black and white male students. The inference was, blacks were written up more often than whites due to racism. The message was clear, teacher’s whose office referrals demonstrated a statistical disparity between black and white students, might be considered racist. Teachers faced two options: Find ways to write up way more white kids, or, look the other way with respect to the misconduct of black students. I wanted to ask the administrator, “suppose that, for whatever reason, black males are simply committing infractions and engaging in disruptive behavior at a greater proportion than their white counterparts?” A teacher, who said such was the case, nevertheless told me pointing out the truth would be career suicide.¹¹

BLM claims it is concerned with the plight of the black community and especially those being murdered [by white cops] but completely ignores the thousands of blacks killed each year at the hand of other blacks. This is because their agenda is really political and disingenuous. “Hands up don’t shoot,” is an exemplar of this strategy. White liberals, hostage to a racial “Stockholm Syndrome” implanted in their psyches by liberal public education (should be called “indoctrication”), and the university, work off their shame and guilt through arguments justifying black violence [riots and looting] and hatred of whites. It’s cathartic cleansing of their racist-stained souls. BLM, the New Black Panthers and other Marxist groups see these pathetic liberals as Lenin’s proverbial “useful idiots” doing their bidding and discarded later. Paradoxically, caught in the middle are the many if not most blacks, neither Marxists nor haters of anyone who, manipulated by inflammatory rhetoric, will also be discarded this time by white Marxists once achieving their goals. While living in California’s Bay area, I observed white liberals worked up into hysterical lathers over Rhodesia and South Africa’s system of racial separation known as Apartheid. Palo Alto’s city government (for which I worked) as well as many others including states and corporations, removed investments and contracts in these countries pressuring them to end Apartheid and white minority rule. Once successful, Rhodesia became a Marxist hellhole known as Zimbabwe ruled by murderous thug Robert Mugabe. But white liberals no longer cared. It was wrong for the white minority to imprison and murder several hundred blacks but okay for the black majority government to imprison, rape, and murder hundreds of thousands of blacks through forced starvation, hacked up by machetes, and shot by guns acquired from North Korea and other communist regimes?¹¹ Acceptance of oppression and mass murder by blacks against blacks seems to be a recurring theme among Liberals.

Is BLM a civil rights movement comparable to those of the 1960s? For the most part the latter, led by Martin Luther King, preached passive non-violent protest and resistance to denial of Constitutional rights. Their end goal was not revenge, retribution, or racial separation. It was full inclusion of black people among all the races of the earth as equals under the ideals laid out in the Declaration of Independence. They understood America’s history and Judeo-Christian founding principles were on their side not those wearing bedsheets and strange pointy hats. Their leaders claimed the “equality that belongs to them as human beings by natural and political right.” Who could oppose this? Americans of all races understood that, until blacks enjoyed full inclusion, the principles upon which this nation were founded could not come true.¹² How did America go from struggling to bring this dream to fruition, including election of America’s first black president, to accusations of a war against blacks?

Black political activist, author, and filmmaker Taleeb Starkes charges that when a black person is killed by a white person, especially a policeman, certain members of the black community dash to the scene and politicize the tragedy in support of their own agenda. “Their mission is to start racial infernos. In other words, they racialize not harmonize.”¹³ He notes “calls to action” following police shootings of black men are not spontaneous reactions from a local populace. “They’re calculated maneuvers promoted by an ever present Race Grievance Industry [RGI], whose only product is victimhood and it’s manufactured without pause.” Racial healing does not serve their agenda. Instead the RGI works to convince blacks that they are “permanent victims of racism” and nothing they can do will ever change this.¹⁴

Absent blacks to buy-in to the notion of eternal victimhood, the RGI would lose power, influence, and fat checks sent in by blacks, white liberals, and Hollywood celebrities. The same holds true for political parties and organizations who derive support from the same clientele. Therefore it is in the best interests of the RGI to promote the boogeyman theorem that a Klansman lurks beneath the surface of every white skin, that whites are not and can never be their friends, and to enforce and discipline political support rendering blacks immune to calls of racial healing and unity. As long as blacks buy into such notions, liberal white politicians are all too eager to fan the flames of racial animosity knowing it can generate support and buy votes with no regard for what it does to the nation as a whole.

Anyone claiming differences in behavior problems based on race will be confronted by school administrators waving handfuls of teacher office referral forms for rule infractions and disruptive behavior “proving” (sic) no statistical difference in behavior problems between white and minority students. But can they really be considered valid when teachers, disciplining students, know to write up, or even “fail” black and minority students will lead to increased scrutiny (and pressure if they are an athlete)? A teacher deemed “racist” by students is in for a very unpleasant career. If considered the same by administration, soon they will be gone.
