I have little doubt that readers have heard about the 58 Texas Dim-ocrats would boarded a private aircraft, and fled the state in order to break the legislative quorum to avoid passing honest election laws. If not, you should read up on it, because it just got interesting.

When I saw Abbott’s comments, I wasn’t sure Republicans would actually have the guts to vote to force the Democrats to return and do their jobs. Yet, that’s exactly what happened.

So… Warrant for their arrest. Interstate fugitives.

They are now prohibited persons under 18 U.S. Code § 922(g).

(g)It shall be unlawful for any person—

(2)who is a fugitive from justice;

to ship or transport in interstate or foreign commerce, or possess in or affecting commerce, any firearm or ammunition; or to receive any firearm or ammunition which has been shipped or transported in interstate or foreign commerce.
