That’s French, for goodbye. There used to be a country in Europe called “France”, from time to time I’ve sarcastically referred to it as “Francistan”. I was right. France has committed suicide on the installment plan. French citizens should have been able to grasp a bit of a clue from the murder of Sarah Halimi. A muslim immigrant who lived in her apartment building broke into another apartment in the same building earlier and the family was able to lock themselves into a room and call the police and beg for help. They could hear him in the next room praying. Since he couldn’t get to them, he broke into Sarah Halimi’s apartment. He had previously threatened the 65 year old Jewish doctor and she was scared of him. Long story short, believe me, I’m leaving out the parts about the police not coming into the building etc, he beat her savagely and threw her out the window, killing her. The killer was not held responsible for his actions. He’d smoked pot the night before…wait till Hunter Biden hears about that defense. What am I thinking? He’s Hunter Biden, he doesn’t need a defense. The DOJ will handle it. The lesson in this was that the French government will protect it’s invaders over it’s own citizens who are required to support, feed, house and die for them. Did the French get slightly queasy over this incident? Apparently, no. They elected Macron.

So fast forward, to now. France is becoming/is an inferno. And just what triggered this inferno? French voting habits for French candidates like Macaroon, and a desire for unfiltered immigration of people that do not begin to try to assimilate info French culture which is why there are no-go zones. Apparently French politicians initially attempted to deny this as phase one of the typical strong French response to an invasion by people that do not have their country’s very best interests at heart.

At 8 a.m. on Tuesday, June 27, two motorcycle officers saw Nahel M. in a high-powered, bright yellow Mercedes A-Class AMG with Polish license plates, racing through Nanterre, and gave chase. The 17-year old led them on a pursuit over sidewalks, through red lights and down bus lanes until finally forced to stop by traffic at 8:16 am.

The two officers dismounted and confronted the homicidal maniac at gunpoint, demanding he cut the engine. Instead, Nahel M floored it, striking the officer in front of his windshield and possibly triggering the gunshot which hit him fatally in the chest. The speeding sports car then struck an obstacle and flipped on its roof. One passenger fled on foot and one was arrested.

Nahel was 17, too young to have a French driver’s license.

Nonetheless, the hero officer is now being charged with “voluntary homicide”. French President Macron stabbed the officer doing his duty in the back by calling the young hoodlum’s death “inexplicable, inexcusable”, all but guaranteeing the courageous officer will not receive a fair trial.

Of course Macaroon and the media are fanning flames and throwing gasoline on them as fast and as much as they can. The left is the left is the left the world over.

In an attempt to riot in a manner to make George Floyd rioters proud, the burning began.

In France, there is no preordained right to bear arms, absent rigid registration and surveillance of their use. So most modern attacks, excluding terrorist incidents involving weapons obtained from abroad, are undertaken by trucks, cars and even knives.

In other words, mass shootings are not the norm in France. And the United States would benefit from closely examining French gun laws in order to reduce the risk of another mass shooting within its own borders.

Gun control in France

Like other European countries, France has tight gun laws. Acquiring a permit to own a weapon is long and tricky and there are restrictions on what types of guns people can buy. Despite France’s tough laws, a large number of illegal weapons are circulating in the country. Could the recent terrorist attacks spark a change in French gun culture?

Of course, they want it removed because they don’t want the whole world to know what’s happening in France.

Because of Macron’s weak response to the civil unrest, French business owners and residents are taking matters into their own hands.

They are arming themselves with wooden sticks, ready to protect their homes and businesses against threats.

Thankfully due to Francistan’s strong gun control laws, the citizen-serfs don’t have much in the way of effective, self-defense tools! Someone might get hurt!

This is an unreal communiqué by the main French police unions, essentially declaring France is in a civil war and that the police is in the “resistance” against the government.

Hundreds of deranged teenagers stormed the streets of a Chicago neighborhood earlier this week and caused massive destruction along the way with no police in sight to protect the helpless residents.

WGN TV reported that around 9 PM Monday night, the teens poured off the Chicago “L” train at the Belmont Red Line stop and completely shut down the roadway for several hours. Residents were left in complete terror.

Chiraq has some of the most restrictive gun citizen control laws around. The serfs there know that much of the budget is going to the illegal invaders and shunted away from the usual recipients of the largess of the taxpayers, and yet…they voted for a mayor even further left than Beetlejuice. Full on Communist? Well how could the people of Chiraq pass that up? Between being helpless, the defund the police, tons of illegal invaders I do not envy the denizens.

That being said, I think before long we’re going to be seeing a combination of those raised to believe that bad behavior is their heritage, like a birthright and the illegal invaders begin to do the same here. Especially as food shortages set in. Turns out I’m not the only gloom and doom person out there. Actually I think there are a lot of us. Compliments of the Biden crime regime. And like that incredibly stupid woman begging the police not to attack the invaders, demoncrat voters continue to defend them and vote for them. Of course few Republicans have really done anything to fix the vote fraud, so it probably doesn’t matter anyway.

There’s more than a few reasons we celebrate our Independence day tomorrow, but the advantage we have over the citizen-serfs of Europe is we are armed, those that so choose. And personally, I keep remembering a talk I heard Rabbi Alon Anava give a few years ago. He said Moshiach was coming very soon, and if Trump was elected the time before his arrival would be gentle, if biden that the time before his coming would be very hard, but either way he was coming. And he is. I believe G-d intended people to live in the freedom that following his laws gives, which probably explains why demoncrats and their deluded followers hate freedom, America, people of faith and G-d. Defy them, celebrate our Independence day, enjoy spending time with family and friends, make some ice cream, eat a burger, sing some songs, watch a patriotic movie. Do whatever your family does to celebrate the miracle of America and do it with joy, gratitude and prayer. Lots and lots of prayer…may G-d bless U.S.

Too Big for their Britches

A friend of mine in far away Nicaragua sent an article recently that reminded me very much of one I wrote years ago. I attempted to find the disc I have the original on to pick some sections out if it to quote. But well, once I hit some old photos and started copying and pasting and had gone through about a half dozen or more discs I decided to knock it off and just go off recall. Some of the worst I can remember. Besides which, it fits into a larger pattern I’m seeing and I don’t like it, and I don’t like where it’s headed.

So, what’s put the burr under my saddle blanket this time and has me highly annoyed?

UN-elected bureaucrats. They are often confused with bottom dwelling pond slime, so be able to tell the difference, it’s very slight sometimes.

Apparently in Virginia some bottom feeder from Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources decided they could go wherever they chose, in camo, and steal a man’s game camera and terrify his family while they played basketball by lurking in the family’s woods and behaving like a voyeur, a state funded stalker if you will. When the terrified wife ran for her husband the state funded thief took off. With their game camera. There’s more of course. Virginia wildlife officials trespassed on man’s land, stole his trail camera, lawsuit alleges

Now it doesn’t take much to set me off on the Department of Conservation, I despise them. They can and do come onto your land without a warrant, poke around wherever they choose, if you have locked gates it doesn’t matter. If you have livestock and they let it out, they are not liable. If your livestock gets out in the road and causes and accident, they aren’t liable, you are. If it was livestock you were fond of? Tough. Like I said, bottom dwelling pond scum. In the article I wrote years ago it talked about some pretty egregious things. There was a movement in my state a few years ago to rein them in. They’ve been known to seize mounted deer heads worth a lot of money and claim the owner wasn’t entitled to them. No warrant. Game meat taken out of freezers, there was a large group that had met several times to discuss what was going on with the Department of Conservation. People contacted their elected representatives, promises were made and, nothing, zip, nada. Their behavior really is criminal. For example;

Once I asked Ziehmer if he approved of the situation down in Douglas County where a dying man had willed 200 acres of land to the Department of Conservation. Just after the man died the department sent in their surveyor and attempted to rearrange the boundary so that it would take about 25 or 30 acres from three neighboring landowners without ever notifying them.

This involved cutting trees from neighbors’ land, setting a new boundary and posting signs telling the real owners of the land to stay off the land they had owned for decades. The landowners had to pay lawyers quite a lot of money and go through a long legal battle just to get back that land. In that interview I asked Ziehmer why they had done such a thing. Draper looked at him as if to say ‘‘keep quiet’’ and then he answered with something that sounded as if he had written it down and memorized it.

“The people of It Could Be Any State USA expect us to accumulate and expand land for them to hunt or hike or otherwise enjoy,” he said.

My next question was, “Do you think the people of Missouri collectively would approve of what you did there next to land a dying man gave you, a man who had long known and respected his neighbors. If all It Could Be Any State USA citizens knew all about it, would the majority be happy with what you have done?”

My latest interaction was they showed up on my land for no good reason. One of my neighbors tipped me off they saw him snooping around. I’m a vegetarian. I don’t hunt and I don’t allow it. So. I called up the local game warden and politely introduced myself “Yes this is Sheila at 1313 WhatTheHeckAreYouDoingOnMyProperty Lane. I’ve been informed you were on my property, uninvited. Why?” I managed to keep the growl out of my voice, and I’m very proud of that. Well, turns out he was looking for baiting. I’m a vegetarian and I don’t allow hunting. Why didn’t you check with me? Now I’m well aware they don’t have to. These unelected bottom feeders can go anywhere, even the country sheriff can’t really do that without a reason, I don’t believe. Well, he finally admitted he was on the wrong property….ass. Bet he votes Demoncrat.

But with the way things are going I can well see a department that already abuses their authority to do unscrupulous activity for an unscrupulous law enforcement agency. Need a little look-see and don’t have a warrant and can’t get one? Call your local game warden. Bottom feeders. Ok, ok, I’ll admit, I’m biased, but I don’t like bullies and I don’t like liars. YMMV, but you might want to look into what your Department of Conservation can get away with.

But this next too big for their britches, or their job description I think we can agree on.

It Begins: 20 Heavily Armed IRS and ATF Agents Raid Great Falls Gun Store, Seize Firearm Purchase Records

“We have now confirmed that both the IRS and the ATF were at Highwood Creek Outfitters in Great Falls around 7 am this morning. Both the IRS and ATF would not say why they were there,” KMON Radio reported.

“A spokeswoman for the IRS would only say they were there on official IRS business. The ATF says it was providing assistance to the IRS. We attempted to enter the store today and were stopped by agents at the door who would only say that the gun store is closed and will reopen tomorrow,” the news outlet added.

Although the Montana Department of Justice claimed no involvement in the incident, an IRS spokesperson confirmed their presence at Highwood Creek Outfitters but refrained from providing further details.

The recent incident has attracted political attention, with Congressman Matt Rosendale expressing his concern over the IRS and ATF’s actions, interpreting them as another example of the Biden regime’s weaponization of federal agencies against hardworking Americans.

“I’m incredibly disturbed by initial reports that the IRS and ATF closed Highwood Creek Outfitters without any warning today,” said Rep Rosendale in a statement.

Well, no flies on Rep. Rosendale…what did people think the IRS would do when they got all that shiny new firepower and ammo except use it on law-abiding citizens. Dealing with criminals is dangerous! These days there is no government bureau that is not abusing it’s power and will not abuse it.

You know, we’ve sent an awful lot of taxpayer money to be laundered in Ukraine and sent back shiny and clean to the Bidden crime regime. We’ve got to cut corners somewhere. Defund the ATF, FIB, CIA and IRS. It won’t begin to cover the debt, but it’s at least making a start.

Why We Fight

Today is D-Day, and I suppose in a lead up to D-Day Shimshon and I have been watching some (what I consider) relevant movies and documentaries. We started watching Band of Brothers last week and a couple of nights ago finished it. One of the episodes is called “Why We Fight”. If you haven’t seen Band of Brothers I’ll give you the relevant point. The war is pretty much over, a few of the men from Easy Company are out in the woods on patrol, just kind of clearing the area when they run across the first concentration camp they’ve seen. They don’t know what it is. They send one of the men back to headquarters to try to find an officer. He finds Dick Winters (who was a very good officer, and I suspect and even better human) and the next scene is of a few officers; Ronald Speirs, Lewis Nixon and some of the rest of Easy Company including Joesph Liebgott. This mattered because Liebgott spoke German. In the first part of the episode many of the men had been questioning why had they given up the years of their lives to live in trenches and fight bad men. After they saw the concentration camps, and Liebgott was able to ask them questions and relay the answers to the officers they all more fully understood the situation. Dick Winters later tells Lewis Nixon the Russians found camps that were even worse. I suspect that may have been the first time some of the boys had seen that level of depravity and evil that can be inflicted on fellow human beings. The next lesson the men learned was “cultured, civilized” people are perfectly capable of standing by and allowing the atrocities, murder and starvation of innocent people. When the men of Easy talked to the town people they all denied knowing anything about it. Apparently one of the Generals had a brilliant idea. The townspeople were hauled out to the concentration camp to bury the bodies. The trait is easily visible today and when someone is being attacked there will be 4,352 TikTok, YouTube and FakeBook videos of the whole thing. Of someone like Daniel Penny stepping in to help others? Not so many.

The next atrocity to be fought was in Israel. You see the Not So Great Britain was there. Last night Shimshon and I watched the 2014 Documentary The Forsaken Promise. This is the whole documentary. Not sure how long it will be there.

The League of Nations trusted Britain to establish a national home for the Jews in their historic homeland, Israel.

The “Mandate for Palestine,” an historical League of Nations document, laid down the Jewish legal right to settle anywhere in western Palestine, a 10,000-square-miles3 area between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea.

The legally binding document was conferred on April 24, 1920 at the San Remo Conference, and its terms outlined in the Treaty of Sèvres on August 10, 1920. The Mandate’s terms were finalized and unanimously approved on July 24, 1922, by the Council of the League of Nations, which was comprised at that time of 51 countries,4 and became operational on September 29, 1923.5

The “Mandate for Palestine” was not a naive vision briefly embraced by the international community in blissful unawareness of Arab opposition to the very notion of Jewish historical rights in Palestine. The Mandate weathered the test of time: On April 18, 1946, when the League of Nations was dissolved and its assets and duties transferred to the United Nations, the international community, in essence, reaffirmed the validity of this international accord and reconfirmed that the terms for a Jewish National Home were the will of the international community, a “sacred trust” – despite the fact that by then it was patently clear that the Arabs opposed a Jewish National Home, no matter what the form.

But despite being trusted by the entire league of nations to re-establish Israel (the nation, the tribes) in Israel (the land) Britain did not do that. In fact, Britain not only limited the number of Jews fleeing hitler and the nazis, they sent refugee ships back. But, so did America under the Demoncratic President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The British disarmed the Jews living in Israel as best as they could, while arming the arabs. In the riots of the 1920s and onward the Brits would stand back and allowed the Jews they had disarmed to be slaughtered. One horrific example at 1:45:00 into the documentary details the attack of 13 April 1948 when a medical convoy was trying to get to the Hadassah hospital in the besieged Jerusalem. The convoy was carrying patients, medical personnel and supplies, it was stopped and attacked by arabs. The Brits checked every convoy trying to get into Jerusalem to make sure that none of the Jews had any weapons, so they were defenseless against the arabs. The people were butchered. No, I didn’t mean killed. There was a British outpost nearby and the soldiers wanted to intervene and were told to stand down. It is reported some of the soldiers cried as they watched the slaughter and mutilation that followed. But they didn’t do anything. There are photographs of the aftermath in the video.

When the refugee ships came in to Israel, the Brits would put the Jews in one of several prison camps. One woman was in prison for five years, she and her husband had escaped, but she lost her whole family to the nazis in the concentration camps. She told of how the British soldiers would beat the prisoners, really they were quite despicable. But if you look at the pattern of the Brits…..America vs. Britain, Ireland vs Britain, Israel vs. Britain….Britain has not been on the side of good in any of those, and in the beginning of WWII Chamberlain made appeasement with hitler, so.

There was really nothing Israel could do about it at this point. They didn’t have control of their own country. The British did, the Jewish Israelis just had to suffer at the whims of the anti-Semitic British government. Oh, yes I did mean to say that. Watch the documentary. See, when your local politicians are not in control, when they have to bow to the will of others who may not have the very best welfare of your nation at heart when making decisions, it will not turn out well. This is something to keep in mind as the traitorous criminal Joe Biden tries to turn U.S. over to the benevolent dictatorship of the W.H.O. with the pandemic treaty. Seems the injection mandates and green passports were just such a dandy paradigm that a lot of the framework is already in place. We already have the FIB so we have the SS who are willing to throw political opposition in the Gulag to prevent them from speaking out. According to whistle blower Steven Friend, it’s not the rank and file of the FIB, instead is the leadership at the top.

Which brings me to leadership. Both examples are from WWII, both of these men came from humble backgrounds. I don’t know that either of them ever aspired to fame, but G-d put something in them that was needed on that day at that time, leadership.

These men fought, because they knew what lay behind them were things they loved and cared about, family, friends and a way of life, their country and freedom to live their lives as they chose. They may have known some of what they were fighting against in front of them, but I don’t think in the beginning they even fully grasped the depth of evil they were up against. Man’s inhumanity to man.

I believe G-d puts the ability to fight back against evil into every creature. I believe we have the ability to fight on despite odds being against us. Every creature.

That cat absolutely is inspiring, and yes, it’s a cat not a small dog. Dogs don’t slap or bat like that. It’s a partisan guerilla cat! It gets in, gets the job done and gets out. A Chuck Norris cat.

Yes, we have a lot stacked against U.S. right now, and many of our fellow citizens have fallen victim to the Fifth Generation Warfare being conducted against U.S. by our own corrupt government. So we may not have as many allies as we should, and have more enemies than we deserve. But we don’t get to choose that bit. We do get to choose if we will pick up the torch that was handed U.S. by the men and women of WWII. It’s all about our mindsets.  Maybe we will talk to people, maybe we will contact politicians, maybe we will go to political rallies and meetings, maybe we will donate money to people like Sen. Josh Hawley that actually do fight back. Goodness knows Soros donates to the likes of Kim Fox, Kim Gardner and their ilk. Maybe we just talk to our kids and grandkids and make sure they understand truth and reality and try to offset some of the damage being done in public schools. Maybe we become more informed about issues. Maybe we join our local grassroots Second Amendment group. But there will be some way for each of us to fight, because 79 years after D-Day, we have a far better idea of why we fight than they did that day they landed on the beaches of Normandy.

It should come as a shock to no one with a bit of a brain that some women are waking up and realizing Demoncrats hate them. They hate them with their actions and they aren’t shy about showing it. For example, the recent incident on the subway car in NYC. Women have been under attack in the NYC subway for a long time; heads bashed in with hammers, sexual assaults, punched in the face all kinds of severe violence against women. What do demoncrats do? Well, what any good marxist would do, they take advantage of the situation to turn the criminal into the victim and demonize anyone who stands up for themselves or other weaker individuals including, but not limited to, women. While Demoncrats may not have outlawed self defense, they prosecute it as a crime rather than the violent criminal. For example, the recent incident on the NY subway where a homeless mentally ill man was threatening passengers. A 24 year old Marine (I understand there are no former Marines) stepped up and with the help of other passengers, some of whom were black, restrained him. The BLM/Antifa set along with whatever agitators can be rounded up are now trying to turn this into a hot mess. Let’s see how the Guardian, a left wing rag is “reporting” on it (giggle giggle, reporting, I crack myself up sometimes).

But he also had FORTY-TWO ARRESTS from 2013-2021. Four for violent assault and he still had an active warrant for a violent assault from 2021. So it’s a horrible choice, the police may not be available to help you, but if you do defend yourself, or someone defends you a Demoncrat prosecutor may well try to ruin your life. Because to Demoncrats and leftists of all parties, the innocent don’t matter. Not really, they are a talking point, not an actual concern.

It’s all going to come down to how you choose to handle the fear. We may not have choices about the situations we find ourselves in. Sometimes we may, sometimes we may have gut hunches. But we should have a choice as to how we handle the fear.

Yes, it is sad, and also the MSM stinks

I heard about a shooting in Clay County Missouri. Apparently a 16 year old went to pick up his siblings and went to the wrong address, street instead of terrace.

Stories vary, but the things that are the same are the homeowner was a 84 year old man who had gone to bed for the night. He heard someone ring his doorbell, and he got up to answer the door. It after 2200 at night, so he took his firearm.

Now this part differs. The homeowner said he opened the door to see a 6 foot tall black male trying to open his exterior storm door. Ralph Yarl the boy that was shot, says he didn’t try to open the door.

The homeowner fired two shots through the door, hitting once in the head, once in the arm. The boy then ran off and went to three different houses before someone called 9-1-1. Which I believe the homeowner had already called. He told the police it was the last thing he wanted to do but he was scared because of the boy’s size and his age.

Apparently for some reason the Clay County prosecutor has decided that constitutes a racial component. Unless the racial component was the homeowner saying “Don’t come around here”. But Zachary Thompson the “Prosecutor”, has decided that is racial. In another report the prosecutor says no words were exchanged.

Meanwhile neighbors also thought something was off.

A witness said they heard an unknown vehicle pull into the driveway of Lester’s address. The witness “thought it was odd for their elderly neighbor to have a visitor this late at night,” according to the statement.

So, late night visitors are not a normal occurrence at the 84 year old homeowners house.

All this is very sad. The boy seems to be recovering, last I saw, he spent a day or so in the hospital and is now recovering at home. None of the following is to say it’s not tragic. It is. A 16 year old was shot and an 84 year old may spend the rest of his life in prison, if the media doesn’t kill him first.

The media totally sucks. All of them.

#FakeNews narrative

They’ve given out the 85 year old’s name, photograph and address. Yes, in some reports the homeowner is 85. His house has now been vandalized.

Every news story you see about this, the main focus is white man shot black teen for ringing the wrong doorbell. If it had been a 85 year old black man would that make him less shot? If it had been a 6 foot 16 year old white boy, would that make him less shot? But race is the whole thing the media and Hollyweird types are focusing on. Meanwhile Channel 9 news is taking this opportunity to say the Castle Doctrine needs to be re-visited. No, it doesn’t. Although I have no faith in the justice system, I’m hoping in this case it will be better.

Perhaps I shouldn’t be surprised the media is making this all about race. I’m not sure if it was Yuri Besmenov that said the communists couldn’t really get a toe hold in America using class, because (at the time) America had a vibrant middle class of any race. Therefore they went with race to create the divisions in our society that they need.

The media is happily playing along. But then the family has hired Benjamin Crump, the race baiting attorney of other national cases.

Yarl’s family has retained nationally renowned civil rights and personal injury attorneys Ben Crump and Lee Merritt in this case.

Crump is perhaps best known for handling cases in the deaths of Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and more.

The whole thing is sad, for everyone involved. But the media is bound and determined to make this another city burned to the ground. Since every article that showed up in my web search listed the race of the people involved, that’s the story. Not something tragic happened, and it is tragic for both, but a chance to foment another riot. And those news stations in Kansas City that are playing along better think twice, because the riots in other cities didn’t always exempt buildings just because you were on their side.

I was texting with my buddy in Nicaragua earlier today. I had sent him the photos from the “news media” along with some thoughts. I told him I see what is happening, our readers see what is happening, I don’t want to be only a voice of doom and gloom. Tomorrow is Yom HaShoah, I know G-d is in control of everything. But Yom HaShoah reminds me that sometimes really bad things do happen, and they don’t make sense to me. They do him, but not to me. He said why don’t you share the meditation from today? Bad “Gun Violence” Research

I haven’t shredded a lousy gun violence study lately, so I think it’s time again. CBS, never really known for accurate reporting, has provided a decent opportunity with their claim that “Gun violence in the U.S. is becoming more fatal.” To support that claim, they cite this study.

Studies suggest that both the risk and lethality of firearm injuries have increased, partly due to larger magazine capacity and growing use of high-caliber weapons.

I don’t even know what they mean by “high caliber,” a term usually indicating good quality; as in a “high caliber surgeon.”

Maybe they meant larger caliber. Let’s consider that.

According to the ATF, the most popular calibers for ’80s and ’90s criminals were:

  • .38 caliber: 29%
  • .357 caliber 28%
  • .22 caliber: 16%

Of course, .38s and .357s actually use the same diameter bullet, 0.357 inches.

In 2022, 24/7 Wall St reported that the crime guns most traced are “25, .32 and .380.” That’s a little surprising to me; I would have expected 9mm (0.355″) to be up there. Anti-gun The Trace seems to agree with me.

So if, anything, crime gun calibers seem to be trending smaller, not larger.

But whatever the cause, why do these brilliant researchers think guns are getting more lethal?

Between 1999 and 2021, 306 772 deaths from non–self-inflicted firearm injury occurred in the US. The proportion of deaths at the scene increased from 51.8% (n = 6036) in 1999 to 56.6% (n = 10 141) in 2021.

I see a little problem with their methodology.

The number (not rate) of at-scene deaths increased 4.8%. You know what else increased from 1991 to 2021? The US population, by 17%.

More people to be shooting, more people to be shot, equals more people to be killed. They should have adjusted for population.

Another credible option would have been to ignore population and compare the ratios of people shot to people killed. I’ve seen another study that tried to do that, but they admittedly ran into problems.

For one, they couldn’t find good enough data on bullet placement; to see if the lethality difference was the cartridge or marksmanship. The other big problem was how much improvements in trauma medicine contributed to survival. That paper found that shooting lethality appeared to be decreasing (unlike the current bozos), but couldn’t attributed a cause with much confidence.

I’m always hoping to see more decent research on firearms. Sadly, this is not that day.

I’m having trust issues. I am beginning to think the government both state and federal doesn’t love U.S. or have our very best interests at heart. Since it’s Saturday night, I think some movies might be in order! Most of the clips are 2-3 minutes. But this, this is the real reason I’m updating this column. I was happily listening to an Irish History podcast after I finished this article and had it up. Computer shut down for the night, supper finally awaiting me. This podcast was on the life of Dennis Doherty, a man who originally enlisted in the British army (he shoulda known better) to escape starvation in Ireland as many young lads did. He spent the next 45 years or so trying to escape prison. If you want to listen to the about 30 minute podcast I’m going to give the link. This podcast was done on May 12, 2013. Yes, it matters. Long before the rise of the cult Covidian. One of the prisons he wound up in was in Port Arthur in Tasmania. It’s what was known as a “model prison” with the goal of reforming the prisoners by breaking them down. Dennis had a penchant for trying to escape prison you see, what with a desire for freedom and all. But the treatment the prisoners received in the “model prison” was what dropped my jaw. This would have been somewhere between 1858-1863. No that’s not a typo, I mean well over a hundred years ago. The prisoners were kept in strict isolation. If they were allowed out of their cells they were to maintain 4.5 meters of space from everyone and they had to have their faces covered with a cloth mask at all times. Prisoners were only referred to by their prison number, not their name. The result? Many of the prisoners went insane. Isn’t that fascinating. This isn’t knew knowledge, they knew the results of these policies. This podcast is 10 years old. Not new knowledge. I hope ya’ll don’t mind this add in.

You know the old saying, if a tree falls in the forest and there is no one around to hear it, does it make a sound? Or something like that…

If a right exists but it is ignored or not acknowledged, is it still a right?

This is a long clip from Tucker Carlson from a few days ago, but it all applies to the Second Amendment, and almost equally as important is how it is being respected in America’s judicial system.

Or not respected would be more accurate.

Here is more on the Arizona court case Tucker referred to, the one decided by an elected swamp dweller named Emilio Velasquez, the “judge” who isn’t even a lawyer. Tucker talked about how “Go Fund Me” a leftist social justice site that helped bail out anti-American activists from antifa and BLM to allow them to continue to burn down private property, public property and attack remote and disinterested parties. But absolutely will not allow funds to be raised for the elderly rancher who defended his family and property. Because….wait for it….violence. Leftist hypocrisy at it’s finest. They are the same piece of crap group that stole the money raised to help the Canadian truckers. They’re the left, they steal, that’s how they roll.

Nicaragua has freed 222 political prisoners and sent them to the U.S.

The government of Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega has released 222 political prisoners and put them on a flight to Washington, D.C., officials in both countries said Thursday.

My buddy in Nicaragua said basically they are emptying out the jails. The above report is from npr, so take it with a 50 lb block of salt, I imagine they are sending lots of other prisoners here who have no connection to opposing Ortega. But being npr, they wouldn’t speak about that.

Historically speaking, this is common. In America, you are labeled racist.

These terms generally are fuzzy and made to velcro onto anyone for anything. People who were weaponized against kulaks, Jews, and so many others in history, are made to hate the target group. And they are armed and without rules. After they are ready and armed, their food will be cut off.

I doubt it’s just me that thinks Mr. Kelly in Arizona had darn good reason to shoot the many times deported illegal alien. And if the Biden crime regime had done their work, he’d be alive as he wouldn’t have been back in the U.S. I won’t even get into (at least in this column) what else is coming in. But I’ll just give one word, Haitians. The ones the Dominicans build walls against.

For too long decent men and women in law-enforcement, and yes I think there are some, have been told to yield the rights and safety of law-abiding citizens to the mob. The people just trying to get to work and home are made to suffer so the left can virtue signal, threaten and intimidate. The people paying taxes are made into a slave class. They finance the very government that turns against them, their safety and their rights.

What were those law enforcement officers standing against the wall thinking as elderly Mr. Kelly asks to be able to speak to his wife? Why are there so many of them in the room? Why aren’t they out rounding up illegals so the landowners don’t need to worry about the safety of themselves, their families and their livestock? Nope, those young men are safe inside a nice building watching a elderly man they failed who used his G-d given rights, his rights acknowledged by Arizona. Our Parsha yesterday was Yitro, Exodus 18:1-20:23. Yitro is Jethro, Moshe’s father in law, who was a very learned man. There is a teaching that says when Pharaoh decided he wanted to thin out and kill off part of the Jews he was unsure of which course of action to take. Pfizer didn’t have a shot available yet, so he turned to his trusted advisers. Three of them actually. Balaam, Job, and Yitro. Balaam recommended genocide, said he could put in a call to Fauxci for him if Pharaoh liked? A very evil man. Job was silent, he remained silent in the face of evil. Yitro said “No only NO, but HELL NO!! This here is flat evil and I’m not having any part of it!” And he fled to Midian. Balaam is later killed in a war with Israel. Job, was punished for his silence with his many trials and tribulations later. Yitro later became Moshe’s father-in-law and was a very righteous man who’s search for G-d ended when he found the G-d of his son-in-law. Great Midrash (teaching) isn’t it??

But Yitro was more than a man in search of the one true G-d in our history. Yitro had a huge impact on the future legal system. From the Second reading of the Parsha for last week:

G-d gave us a beautiful world, he gave a contract, that if followed, we could live in harmony with each other and he will dwell among us. The left hates that, they want the worship due to G-d and they want to push him as far out of his world as possible.

But these rights? They still come from G-d, they left may act as though they give and take them, but that’s not how it will end up. They can ignore our rights, they can act as though they don’t exist. But G-d gave them to us, their opinion does not nullify his gifts.

Even if I had a crystal ball, it would probably look more like a shaken snow globe right now, things are so crazy, but here, here is one thing I know. There are elements within the legal system in Israel that are starting to stand for the rule of law, there are elements of the legal system within America and I think the good people of both have about had their fill of being used and abused by a corrupt legal system. Emmy the non-lawyer is an elected official. I hope the people of Arizona can do better. I’d like to see Emmy removed from office, tomorrow. You know, in the Second reading above, God fearers, men of truth, who hate monetary gain, I’m very curious, who paid for Emmy’s campaign? Does Emmy have any other source of income? See, there is a reason Yitro said that. We already know Emmy isn’t worried about G-d. So, monetary gain?

But no matter what, corrupt legal system or no, rights come from G-d. אין עוד מלבדו

MRI and Guns Do Not Mix

I’d only heard of this happening once before, several years ago. But it seems it’s happened since. And now again.

Police said that the MRI machine’s magnetic field pulled the concealed gun away from his waist.

The gun hit the machine and the impact caused it to discharge one bullet that struck him in the abdomen.

Yes, he was told to leave his possession behind before entering the room, and specifically metal objects.

He “forgot.”

Yes, the magnetic field from a magnetic resonance imager is strong enough to grab objects a few feet away.

Baldwin Charging Affidavit

The probable cause statement for Alec Baldwin’s involuntary manslaughter charges is available.

For those with an unfortunate interest in law, it’s very interesting. For those convinced that Baldwin shouldn’t have been charged because he’s just a stupid actor, and you can’t expect actors to show any sense, and the Four Rules aren’t law…

…it will be infuriating.

In Baldwin’s case: They have video and photos of him fingering the trigger. He skipped safety training. When the armorer roped him into training, he spent the whole time on the phone.

A forensic report that says the handgun was functioning correctly. The trigger had to be pulled.

The document describes film industry standards and protocols, and describes how Baldwin — as the primary producer — actively and willfully blew them off.

The Four Rules? I had said

Aesop might as well claim that Baldwin shouldn’t be charged because § 30-2-3 doesn’t specifically say not to point a load gun at people and pull the trigger when you don’t even know if it’s loaded. Those words aren’t there either.

“Without due caution and circumspection” are, and the Rules illustrate what due caution and circumspection look like.

The probable cause statement — using different phrasing — says precisely that. Because…

One more time; if I were the prosecutor, I’d present clips from interviews, and social media post of Baldwin telling everyone else how to do it right, and ask him, “Mr. Baldwin, for years you’ve claimed you know better on firearm safety than everyone else. Why are you now claiming to be dumber than a six year-old in need of constant adult supervision?”

And that’s exactly what the prosecution has done in the probable cause statement: You know this stuff. Why didn’t you do it?

Negligence is when you know better, but do it anyway. This document establishes that Baldwin did it, should have known better, and has repeatedly claimed to know better.

On the armorer front, Gutierrez-Reed will need to do some serious explaining. Per the statement, law enforcement found — this is addition to the expended round used to kill Hutchins — six live rounds on set. Including a live round on Baldwin’s holster.

And forensics indicates those live rounds did not come from the movie’s supplier as she had once tried to imply.

So, little miss armorer, why were live rounds on set at all, and where did they come from? Why did you never notice live rounds mixed in with your equipment?

I recall early claims that she had been letting people use prop guns for recreational plinking. I think those claims just became a lot more credible.
