You may or not have seen the video recently of Julius Malema President of the Economic Freedom Fighters, a political party in South Africa with his catchy little ditty. Rita Panahi of SKY News, out of Australia recently did an excellent, and short, report on this. Since her accent is way cooler than mine, listen to this short segment from Rita.
In the clip, an interviewer asks Malema if he can understand why people on Twitter are going nuts about him calling for genocide of white farmers. Malema responds “Cry babies”. Oh.
This is not a new topic, I’ve written about it a couple of times before.

South Africa does indeed have gun control and therefore has become the garden of eden the gun grabbers always assure us a gun free places will become. There are a couple of good Tucker Carlson clips as he interviews a couple of South Africans talking about what is going on. And the first part is talking about Zimbabwe and what happened to their country after they took all the land from the white farmers. Here’s a hint, economy collapsed and famine. That was such a winning strategy that Julius Malema has decided to repeat it..
So what’s changed that I’m writing again? Well, in a way, not much and in a way a lot. As Rita pointed out the response to the video of Malema and a stadium FULL of people chanting “Kill the Boer, shoot white farmer” from the bat guano crazy left has been to DEFEND the calls for genocide. Now the NY Slimes has a long proud history of downplaying genocide.
And yet, at the end of the war and for decades afterward, Americans claimed they did not know about the Holocaust as it was happening. How was it possible for so much information to be available in the mass media and yet simultaneously for the public to be ignorant?
The reason is that the American media in general and the New York Times in particular never treated the Holocaust as an important news story. From the start of the war in Europe to its end nearly six years later, the story of the Holocaust made the Times front page only 26 times out of 24,000 front-page stories, and most of those stories referred to the victims as “refugees” or “persecuted minorities.” In only six of those stories were Jews identified on page one as the primary victims.
Nor did the story lead the paper, appearing in the right-hand column reserved for the day’s most important news – not even when the concentration camps were liberated at the end of the war. In addition, the Times intermittently and timidly editorialized about the extermination of the Jews, and the paper rarely highlighted it in either the Week in Review or the magazine section.

Farm murders are happening
In the past did the left have enough soul, morals and ethics they would have condemned genocide? I think perhaps they would have, even if you had to go a ways back to find that time. But not now, now their response is we misunderstood the song. No, no, there’s not much misunderstanding Kill the Boer, Kill the farmer. That’s pretty self explanatory and since that’s exactly what’s happening I’d say both the white farmers and the murderous regime are taking him at his word. Someone recently posted to Twitter/X that this is how a farmer is South Africa has a BBQ. This makes me sooo sad, and I don’t even eat meat. But just a simple pleasure like this is fraught with peril.

I recently posted something to an Israeli political party group I belong to expressing sympathy for the white South Africans. I understand very well the love of your land, and many of those farmers are on land that’s been farmed by their family for a few hundred years. How can they sell their land and get out? Who would buy it? I guess a black would be entitled to just take it if it was for sale, and what white in their right mind would buy it, no matter how good the land is? How do they get money to get their families out to start over somewhere better? Its possibly harder than living in Shomron or Judea. I got a very wise response. Since I didn’t ask permission to quote, I’ll give you the gist; It’s like the Jews of Europe in the 1930s. Those who could get out left everything but their lives behind. Those who stayed lost everything including their lives. He said he doubted there are any sympathetic safe harbors for the whites of South Africa. He advised them to learn Spanish and try to make it to Mexico. He was joking about that last bit, I think. Upon further reflection, he might be onto something…
Another thing that is different is we are heading for a famine, remember Michael Yon’s PanFaWar? Famine follows pandemic and is followed by war. This will be exacerbated by the greens trying to ruin agriculture, as in the Netherlands right now they are seizing farm land to turn it into housing for the poor immigrants. Not sure what the immigrants, or the Dutch either for that matter are going to eat. Zimbabwe no longer has food to export. India is limiting rice exports, and in America we are injecting our food animals with experimental substances. So. Seems like a stupid idea to me, but ideologues are seldom the brightest crayon in the box. Not sure where the South Africans think they’re going to get their food, and I truly hope no country will give them aid, but we know that’s not going to happen.
Which brings me to my next point. The Biden crime syndicate, Mayorkas (yeah, I don’t even care if I spelled it right or not) and border czar Harris have imported tons of them. How many? Who knows. But we now have tons of illegal invaders who come from a country where it’s government policy you can kill the white farmer, and steal his land, because it’s no longer stealing.

One week ago a girlfriend, Christie and I went to go see the movie “The Sound of Freedom”. It really was quite an amazing movie. The story centers on two little children from Honduras, and how they came to be in the clutches of sex traffickers and their rescuer, Tim Ballard, a former Homeland Security officer. This was a long time ago, back when the government fought crime. Tim is now the person behind “Operation Underground Railroad” The movie covers Tim’s change in life mission, from taking down pedophiles to finding the children exploited by them.
A noble movie, right? I mean it’s true, not all of it, there were some creative liberties taken, and some characters were blurred, but many of the main ones are very much real and the names given to them in the movie are close enough that if you know them, you’d know who the were. O.U.R. really is rescuing children and I guess you could call it their mission statement is “G-d’s children are not for sale”.
What has been baffling is the media response to this! Shocking really. I mean how many times have we heard from the left that the latest gun control measure meant to take rights away from law abiding citizens, many of them parents, is “for the children”. I’m still not clear on how limiting parents ability to defend their children is to the benefit of the children but I’m not a brain rotted leftist, so there ya go.
The QAnon-tinged thriller about child-trafficking is designed to appeal to the conscience of a conspiracy-addled boomer

Caviezel, best known for being tortured to death in Mel Gibson’s The Passion of the Christ, has become a prominent figure on the conspiracist right, giving speeches and interviews in which he hints at an underground holy war between patriots and a sinister legion of evildoers who are harvesting the blood of children. It’s straight-up QAnon stuff, right down to his use of catchphrases like “The storm is upon us.”
This is a special kind of hatred for a movie trying to raise awareness about children. And it’s far from the only one like that. The left’s typical response is attack the message and the messenger.
Since The Sound of Freedom was released in theaters last week, the inspiration for the film, Tim Ballard, the CEO of the anti-trafficking organization Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.), has been getting quite a bit of attention — and not all of it has been positive. The film, which has grossed nearly $50 million, has been subject to criticism from anti-trafficking experts, many of whom claim it is an inaccurate depiction of child trafficking and that the tactics espoused in the film may actually put trafficked kids in danger. Others have focused on Operation Underground Railroad and Ballard himself, particularly his tendency to self-mythologize and embellish his exploits and his more recent pivot toward conspiracy theories.
He’s now the CEO of the Nazarene Fund, O.U.R.’s sister organization which serves Christians and other religious minorities fleeing persecution in the Middle East.This is not exactly abandoning the organization.
Lots of the are like that. As he is now famous, I wonder if they left has considered his chances of being successful at undercover operations now? Probably not, their goal is to attack.
Some are even more astonishing. They claim raising awareness of child trafficking is harming efforts to fight child trafficking. And this is far from the only article. Controversial? Really?
“I’ve literally been on four different group texts about the damn movie,” says Erin Albright, an attorney who has worked in the anti-trafficking space for 15 years, including as a former fellow for the Department of Justice’s anti-trafficking task force. Albright says Sound of Freedom is “grounded in this sensational perspective of what child trafficking would be,” rather than reflecting its grim reality.

Yet from the movie’s opening montage, which shows surveillance footage of children being snatched by strangers off the streets, Sound of Freedom offers a “false perception” of how the majority of child trafficking actually takes place, according to Albright.
Soooo I guess I could have reached out to Adam Walsh for comment, but he’s dead. That’s not what I took from the montage at all. While Adam was never trafficked, children are absolutely taken from stores, from in front of their homes. But the left is correct in that I’m sure the majority of children being trafficked today is being facilitated by the left, the Biden crime regime and financed by U.S. taxpayers.
Gone are the days when children might have been separated from the adults that brought them across the border and DNA tests done to be sure that the adult really was kin folk. No today kids come across the border with a name and number pinned to their shirt, border patrol calls the number tells them their moneymaker is here and we pay to ship them to the receiving party. The cartels don’t even have to pay shipping. Cheaper than Amazon prime because the cartels don’t even have to pay membership unless you count 10% for the “big guy”. I guess that would be “Biden Prime”.

Stop and think about the magnitude of “losing” 85,000 children and having absolutely no idea where they are and no idea to who they were given to.
A pair of Republican senators are demanding that federal officials account for how they reportedly lost track of 85,000 migrant children over the past two years.

Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) and Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) comes on the heels of a February New York Times report that the Department of Health and Human Services had been unable to contact thousands of unaccompanied minors who were placed with sponsors after crossing the border — raising fears that they have been trafficked for cheap labor.

Cheap labor, and that’s if they’re lucky I’m guessing.
Another reality is that is far from the only way the government gets children into the child trafficking mill.
I recently got an email from a girl friend of mine, I told her a girl friend and I had gone to see The Sound of Freedom so she thought I’d be interested in some stats from just her state, just Missouri. She had gotten a email from a website called Jodi Grace
In 2019, 978 children were missing at some point from Missouri foster care, according to the report
A federal watchdog found that Missouri failed to sufficiently reduce children’s risk of going missing from the foster care system and frequently failed to notify local and federal authorities they were missing.
That’s in 2019 alone. One year.
But for the left it’s not enough to take children from parents who have may actually have problems, no in California they now plan to take children if their parents won’t allow the confused child to take hormone blockers with unknown long term side effects or have life altering as well as body altering surgeries. I would call it child mutilation, the left calls it “gender affirming”. The left has a real problem with words. It’s denying the sex the child was born and they call it “affirming”. They aren’t affirming, they are denying and mutilating.

I found this part (same article) pretty interesting.

I think SkyNews is over optimistic here, it’s California nothing will happen to Newscum.
But there is another aspect to this “gender affirming” issue, I’ve heard more than one person point out that if a 8 year old can make the decision to change his sex, then eventually it will be the 8 year old is old enough to decide to have sex with an adult and presto change-o no more trafficking, just consensual sex between two willing parties.
This is a special kind of evil, beyond anything I’ve ever seen in our country before. That the leftist echo chamber in unison is doing everything it can to discredit the movie, the actor, the man who started the group by rescuing children and the group that rescues children should tell you something. They are over the target and laying down truth bombs right and left. The sound of leftist heads exploding…it’s a beautiful thing.

That’s French, for goodbye. There used to be a country in Europe called “France”, from time to time I’ve sarcastically referred to it as “Francistan”. I was right. France has committed suicide on the installment plan. French citizens should have been able to grasp a bit of a clue from the murder of Sarah Halimi. A muslim immigrant who lived in her apartment building broke into another apartment in the same building earlier and the family was able to lock themselves into a room and call the police and beg for help. They could hear him in the next room praying. Since he couldn’t get to them, he broke into Sarah Halimi’s apartment. He had previously threatened the 65 year old Jewish doctor and she was scared of him. Long story short, believe me, I’m leaving out the parts about the police not coming into the building etc, he beat her savagely and threw her out the window, killing her. The killer was not held responsible for his actions. He’d smoked pot the night before…wait till Hunter Biden hears about that defense. What am I thinking? He’s Hunter Biden, he doesn’t need a defense. The DOJ will handle it. The lesson in this was that the French government will protect it’s invaders over it’s own citizens who are required to support, feed, house and die for them. At 8 a.m. on Tuesday, June 27, two motorcycle officers saw Nahel M. in a high-powered, bright yellow Mercedes A-Class AMG with Polish license plates, racing through Nanterre, and gave chase. The 17-year old led them on a pursuit over sidewalks, through red lights and down bus lanes until finally forced to stop by traffic at 8:16 am.
The two officers dismounted and confronted the homicidal maniac at gunpoint, demanding he cut the engine. Instead, Nahel M floored it, striking the officer in front of his windshield and possibly triggering the gunshot which hit him fatally in the chest. The speeding sports car then struck an obstacle and flipped on its roof. One passenger fled on foot and one was arrested.
Nahel was 17, too young to have a French driver’s license.

Nonetheless, the hero officer is now being charged with “voluntary homicide”. French President Macron stabbed the officer doing his duty in the back by calling the young hoodlum’s death “inexplicable, inexcusable”, all but guaranteeing the courageous officer will not receive a fair trial.

In France, there is no preordained right to bear arms, absent rigid registration and surveillance of their use. So most modern attacks, excluding terrorist incidents involving weapons obtained from abroad, are undertaken by trucks, cars and even knives.
In other words, mass shootings are not the norm in France. And the United States would benefit from closely examining French gun laws in order to reduce the risk of another mass shooting within its own borders.
Like other European countries, France has tight gun laws. Acquiring a permit to own a weapon is long and tricky and there are restrictions on what types of guns people can buy. Despite France’s tough laws, a large number of illegal weapons are circulating in the country. Could the recent terrorist attacks spark a change in French gun culture?
Social media platforms were inundated with videos depicting urban landscapes set ablaze. Macron requested these platforms to remove the most sensitive footage of rioting and disclose the identities of users inciting violence. Of course, they want it removed because they don’t want the whole world to know what’s happening in France.
Because of Macron’s weak response to the civil unrest, French business owners and residents are taking matters into their own hands.
They are arming themselves with wooden sticks, ready to protect their homes and businesses against threats.
Thankfully due to Francistan’s strong gun control laws, the citizen-serfs don’t have much in the way of effective, self-defense tools! Someone might get hurt!
I’m not sure France’s Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin has a firm grasp on reality.
“I want to reiterate that the riots we experienced last night had nothing to do with this story … and that attacking a school, setting fire to a social center, burning down a town hall had nothing to do with these stories from Nanterre,” he said.
The mayor’s wife had to flee their home under attack, lifting their children over the wall to the neighbors’ yard, injuring themselves in the process. The wife and one of the children were hospitalized with fractures. The two children were “very traumatized”, FranceInfo reports.
The rioters were chanting, must have been something like “Justice for George Floyd or Hand’s up don’t shoot” in French.

France is descending into civil war as Arab gangs took to the streets for a fourth day of rioting after a 17-year-old was shot trying to run a traffic stop in Paris suburb Nanterre Tuesday. 45 000 security forces have been deployed and almost 1,300 arrests made.
This is an unreal communiqué by the main French police unions, essentially declaring France is in a civil war and that the police is in the “resistance” against the government.

The absolute irony is that looking at the woman’s outfit, had any of the invaders gotten hold of her, she probably wouldn’t have fared well at all.

The woman’s request came as police officers were being attacked by race rioters with mortar-style fireworks while responding to fires set to buildings and vehicles in Lyon, according to the video.

Hundreds of deranged teenagers stormed the streets of a Chicago neighborhood earlier this week and caused massive destruction along the way with no police in sight to protect the helpless residents.
WGN TV reported that around 9 PM Monday night, the teens poured off the Chicago “L” train at the Belmont Red Line stop and completely shut down the roadway for several hours. Residents were left in complete terror.

Chiraq has some of the most restrictive gun citizen control laws around. And personally, I keep remembering a talk I heard Rabbi Alon Anava give a few years ago. He said Moshiach was coming very soon, and if Trump was elected the time before his arrival would be gentle, if biden that the time before his coming would be very hard, but either way he was coming. And he is. I believe G-d intended people to live in the freedom that following his laws gives, which probably explains why demoncrats and their deluded followers hate freedom, America, people of faith and G-d. Defy them, celebrate our Independence day, enjoy spending time with family and friends, make some ice cream, eat a burger, sing some songs, watch a patriotic movie. Do whatever your family does to celebrate the miracle of America and do it with joy, gratitude and prayer. Lots and lots of prayer…may G-d bless U.S.
A friend of mine in far away Nicaragua sent an article recently that reminded me very much of one I wrote years ago. I attempted to find the disc I have the original on to pick some sections out if it to quote. But well, once I hit some old photos and started copying and pasting and had gone through about a half dozen or more discs I decided to knock it off and just go off recall. Some of the worst I can remember. Besides which, it fits into a larger pattern I’m seeing and I don’t like it, and I don’t like where it’s headed.
So, what’s put the burr under my saddle blanket this time and has me highly annoyed?
UN-elected bureaucrats. They are often confused with bottom dwelling pond slime, so be able to tell the difference, it’s very slight sometimes.
Apparently in Virginia some bottom feeder from Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources decided they could go wherever they chose, in camo, and steal a man’s game camera and terrify his family while they played basketball by lurking in the family’s woods and behaving like a voyeur, a state funded stalker if you will. When the terrified wife ran for her husband the state funded thief took off. With their game camera. There’s more of course. Virginia wildlife officials trespassed on man’s land, stole his trail camera, lawsuit alleges
Now it doesn’t take much to set me off on the Department of Conservation, I despise them. They can and do come onto your land without a warrant, poke around wherever they choose, if you have locked gates it doesn’t matter. If you have livestock and they let it out, they are not liable. If your livestock gets out in the road and causes and accident, they aren’t liable, you are. If it was livestock you were fond of? Tough. Like I said, bottom dwelling pond scum. In the article I wrote years ago it talked about some pretty egregious things. There was a movement in my state a few years ago to rein them in. They’ve been known to seize mounted deer heads worth a lot of money and claim the owner wasn’t entitled to them. No warrant. Game meat taken out of freezers, there was a large group that had met several times to discuss what was going on with the Department of Conservation. People contacted their elected representatives, promises were made and, nothing, zip, nada. Their behavior really is criminal. For example;
Once I asked Ziehmer if he approved of the situation down in Douglas County where a dying man had willed 200 acres of land to the Department of Conservation. Just after the man died the department sent in their surveyor and attempted to rearrange the boundary so that it would take about 25 or 30 acres from three neighboring landowners without ever notifying them.
This involved cutting trees from neighbors’ land, setting a new boundary and posting signs telling the real owners of the land to stay off the land they had owned for decades. The landowners had to pay lawyers quite a lot of money and go through a long legal battle just to get back that land. In that interview I asked Ziehmer why they had done such a thing. Draper looked at him as if to say ‘‘keep quiet’’ and then he answered with something that sounded as if he had written it down and memorized it.
“The people of It Could Be Any State USA expect us to accumulate and expand land for them to hunt or hike or otherwise enjoy,” he said.
My next question was, “Do you think the people of Missouri collectively would approve of what you did there next to land a dying man gave you, a man who had long known and respected his neighbors. If all It Could Be Any State USA citizens knew all about it, would the majority be happy with what you have done?”
My latest interaction was they showed up on my land for no good reason. One of my neighbors tipped me off they saw him snooping around. I’m a vegetarian. I don’t hunt and I don’t allow it. So. I called up the local game warden and politely introduced myself “Yes this is Sheila at 1313 WhatTheHeckAreYouDoingOnMyProperty Lane. I’ve been informed you were on my property, uninvited. Why?” I managed to keep the growl out of my voice, and I’m very proud of that. Well, turns out he was looking for baiting. I’m a vegetarian and I don’t allow hunting. Why didn’t you check with me? Now I’m well aware they don’t have to. These unelected bottom feeders can go anywhere, even the country sheriff can’t really do that without a reason, I don’t believe. Well, he finally admitted he was on the wrong property….ass. Bet he votes Demoncrat.
But with the way things are going I can well see a department that already abuses their authority to do unscrupulous activity for an unscrupulous law enforcement agency. Need a little look-see and don’t have a warrant and can’t get one? Call your local game warden. Bottom feeders. Ok, ok, I’ll admit, I’m biased, but I don’t like bullies and I don’t like liars. YMMV, but you might want to look into what your Department of Conservation can get away with.
But this next too big for their britches, or their job description I think we can agree on.
“We have now confirmed that both the IRS and the ATF were at Highwood Creek Outfitters in Great Falls around 7 am this morning. Both the IRS and ATF would not say why they were there,” KMON Radio reported.
“A spokeswoman for the IRS would only say they were there on official IRS business. The ATF says it was providing assistance to the IRS. We attempted to enter the store today and were stopped by agents at the door who would only say that the gun store is closed and will reopen tomorrow,” the news outlet added.

Although the Montana Department of Justice claimed no involvement in the incident, an IRS spokesperson confirmed their presence at Highwood Creek Outfitters but refrained from providing further details.

The recent incident has attracted political attention, with Congressman Matt Rosendale expressing his concern over the IRS and ATF’s actions, interpreting them as another example of the Biden regime’s weaponization of federal agencies against hardworking Americans.
“I’m incredibly disturbed by initial reports that the IRS and ATF closed Highwood Creek Outfitters without any warning today,” said Rep Rosendale in a statement.
Well, no flies on Rep. Rosendale…what did people think the IRS would do when they got all that shiny new firepower and ammo except use it on law-abiding citizens. Dealing with criminals is dangerous! These days there is no government bureau that is not abusing it’s power and will not abuse it.
You know, we’ve sent an awful lot of taxpayer money to be laundered in Ukraine and sent back shiny and clean to the Bidden crime regime. We’ve got to cut corners somewhere. Defund the ATF, FIB, CIA and IRS. It won’t begin to cover the debt, but it’s at least making a start.
Today is D-Day, and I suppose in a lead up to D-Day Shimshon and I have been watching some (what I consider) relevant movies and documentaries. We started watching Band of Brothers last week and a couple of nights ago finished it. One of the episodes is called “Why We Fight”. If you haven’t seen Band of Brothers I’ll give you the relevant point. The war is pretty much over, a few of the men from Easy Company are out in the woods on patrol, just kind of clearing the area when they run across the first concentration camp they’ve seen. They don’t know what it is. They send one of the men back to headquarters to try to find an officer. He finds Dick Winters (who was a very good officer, and I suspect and even better human) and the next scene is of a few officers; Ronald Speirs, Lewis Nixon and some of the rest of Easy Company including Joesph Liebgott. This mattered because Liebgott spoke German. In the first part of the episode many of the men had been questioning why had they given up the years of their lives to live in trenches and fight bad men. After they saw the concentration camps, and Liebgott was able to ask them questions and relay the answers to the officers they all more fully understood the situation. Dick Winters later tells Lewis Nixon the Russians found camps that were even worse. I suspect that may have been the first time some of the boys had seen that level of depravity and evil that can be inflicted on fellow human beings. The next lesson the men learned was “cultured, civilized” people are perfectly capable of standing by and allowing the atrocities, murder and starvation of innocent people. When the men of Easy talked to the town people they all denied knowing anything about it. Apparently one of the Generals had a brilliant idea. The townspeople were hauled out to the concentration camp to bury the bodies. The trait is easily visible today and when someone is being attacked there will be 4,352 TikTok, YouTube and FakeBook videos of the whole thing. Of someone like Daniel Penny stepping in to help others? Not so many.
The next atrocity to be fought was in Israel. You see the Not So Great Britain was there. Last night Shimshon and I watched the 2014 Documentary The Forsaken Promise. This is the whole documentary. Not sure how long it will be there.
The League of Nations trusted Britain to establish a national home for the Jews in their historic homeland, Israel.
The “Mandate for Palestine,” an historical League of Nations document, laid down the Jewish legal right to settle anywhere in western Palestine, a 10,000-square-miles3 area between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea.
The legally binding document was conferred on April 24, 1920 at the San Remo Conference, and its terms outlined in the Treaty of Sèvres on August 10, 1920. The Mandate’s terms were finalized and unanimously approved on July 24, 1922, by the Council of the League of Nations, which was comprised at that time of 51 countries,4 and became operational on September 29, 1923.5
The “Mandate for Palestine” was not a naive vision briefly embraced by the international community in blissful unawareness of Arab opposition to the very notion of Jewish historical rights in Palestine. The Mandate weathered the test of time: On April 18, 1946, when the League of Nations was dissolved and its assets and duties transferred to the United Nations, the international community, in essence, reaffirmed the validity of this international accord and reconfirmed that the terms for a Jewish National Home were the will of the international community, a “sacred trust” – despite the fact that by then it was patently clear that the Arabs opposed a Jewish National Home, no matter what the form.
But despite being trusted by the entire league of nations to re-establish Israel (the nation, the tribes) in Israel (the land) Britain did not do that. In fact, Britain not only limited the number of Jews fleeing hitler and the nazis, they sent refugee ships back. But, so did America under the Demoncratic President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The British disarmed the Jews living in Israel as best as they could, while arming the arabs. In the riots of the 1920s and onward the Brits would stand back and allowed the Jews they had disarmed to be slaughtered. One horrific example at 1:45:00 into the documentary details the attack of 13 April 1948 when a medical convoy was trying to get to the Hadassah hospital in the besieged Jerusalem. The convoy was carrying patients, medical personnel and supplies, it was stopped and attacked by arabs. The Brits checked every convoy trying to get into Jerusalem to make sure that none of the Jews had any weapons, so they were defenseless against the arabs. The people were butchered. No, I didn’t mean killed. There was a British outpost nearby and the soldiers wanted to intervene and were told to stand down. It is reported some of the soldiers cried as they watched the slaughter and mutilation that followed. But they didn’t do anything. There are photographs of the aftermath in the video.
When the refugee ships came in to Israel, the Brits would put the Jews in one of several prison camps. One woman was in prison for five years, she and her husband had escaped, but she lost her whole family to the nazis in the concentration camps. She told of how the British soldiers would beat the prisoners, really they were quite despicable. But if you look at the pattern of the Brits…..America vs. Britain, Ireland vs Britain, Israel vs. Britain….Britain has not been on the side of good in any of those, and in the beginning of WWII Chamberlain made appeasement with hitler, so.
There was really nothing Israel could do about it at this point. They didn’t have control of their own country. The British did, the Jewish Israelis just had to suffer at the whims of the anti-Semitic British government. Oh, yes I did mean to say that. Watch the documentary. See, when your local politicians are not in control, when they have to bow to the will of others who may not have the very best welfare of your nation at heart when making decisions, it will not turn out well. This is something to keep in mind as the traitorous criminal Joe Biden tries to turn U.S. over to the benevolent dictatorship of the W.H.O. with the pandemic treaty. WHO Pandemic Treaty Is a Threat to Liberty. They are already talking about digital tracking. Seems the injection mandates and green passports were just such a dandy paradigm that a lot of the framework is already in place. We already have the FIB so we have the SS who are willing to throw political opposition in the Gulag to prevent them from speaking out. According to whistle blower Steven Friend, it’s not the rank and file of the FIB, instead is the leadership at the top.
Which brings me to leadership. Both examples are from WWII, both of these men came from humble backgrounds. I don’t know that either of them ever aspired to fame, but G-d put something in them that was needed on that day at that time, leadership.

These men fought, because they knew what lay behind them were things they loved and cared about, family, friends and a way of life, their country and freedom to live their lives as they chose. They may have known some of what they were fighting against in front of them, but I don’t think in the beginning they even fully grasped the depth of evil they were up against. Man’s inhumanity to man.
I believe G-d puts the ability to fight back against evil into every creature. I believe we have the ability to fight on despite odds being against us. Every creature.
That cat absolutely is inspiring, and yes, it’s a cat not a small dog. Dogs don’t slap or bat like that. It’s a partisan guerilla cat! It gets in, gets the job done and gets out. A Chuck Norris cat.
Yes, we have a lot stacked against U.S. right now, and many of our fellow citizens have fallen victim to the Fifth Generation Warfare being conducted against U.S. by our own corrupt government. So we may not have as many allies as we should, and have more enemies than we deserve. But we don’t get to choose that bit. We do get to choose if we will pick up the torch that was handed U.S. by the men and women of WWII. It’s all about our mindsets. Maybe we will talk to people, maybe we will contact politicians, maybe we will go to political rallies and meetings, maybe we will donate money to people like Sen. Josh Hawley that actually do fight back. Goodness knows Soros donates to the likes of Kim Fox, Kim Gardner and their ilk. Maybe we just talk to our kids and grandkids and make sure they understand truth and reality and try to offset some of the damage being done in public schools. Maybe we become more informed about issues. Maybe we join our local grassroots Second Amendment group. But there will be some way for each of us to fight, because 79 years after D-Day, we have a far better idea of why we fight than they did that day they landed on the beaches of Normandy.

On that day in 1967, despite Israel’s very best efforts not to reunite Jerusalem, it was. Many Israeli soldiers paid a very high price for it. But many Israeli citizens had been paying a high price before it was reunited in terms of ongoing terrorism.

You must understand the police will not allow Jews to prostrate themselves on the Temple Mount and pray. Now Muslims? Rabbi Zvi Yehudah Kook, the Rosh Yeshivah (Dean) of the Merkaz HaRav Yeshivah in Jerusalem, addressed his students on Israel Independence Day, 1967, just two and a half weeks before the outbreak of the Six Day War. In the video, the rabbi can be heard bemoaning the fact that Israel’s holy sites and cities were all in the hands of her enemies, and Jews had no access to the holy places.
You know, Israel tried to do everything it could to keep peace. They tried to compromise with entities that hate them and want to see them destroyed. They tried it, they tried to act reasonably and honorably. And all that happened was that was used against them. Israel told Jordan not to get involved, Israel had been helping the King of Jordan whom some of the other Arab countries had been threatening. And yet, when King Hussein heard the Arab version of cnn and msnbc saying they had Israel in a box, the walls were closing in on them. Any day now they were going to be destroyed forev….oh wait. Wrong topic for those particular lies. Those lies came from another group that want to destroy a different country and a different leader. But, like people that are on their 17th Covid booster, King Hussein believed the Egyptians and Syrians that they were ripping the Israelis a new one. And so, they jumped in and began shelling Israeli civilian areas in Jerusalem. And G-d gave a miracle paid for in the blood of innocent Israelis fighting throughout the city. The odds were horrible, Syria, Egypt and Jordan against Israel. The soldiers talked about how they didn’t really have maps or much familiarity with the parts of Jerusalem they were fighting in. Some went down wrong alleys, took wrong turns, but they fought on. There comes a time when you realize with some parties there can and will never be a compromise possible. Peace will only come when one side is defeated. Much like the battle of good and evil, will you compromise with evil to achieve peace? Israel must never again give up land for peace, and conservatives must quit trying to reach reasonable compromise with the left which has been taken over by the communists. As they said they would. The media will portray U.S. as “extremists” and “radicals”, no matter what they do. Trying to compromise with evil is always a losing proposition. They have the media (propaganda arm of the communist party) to spin their story anyway they want it.
Here’s a story, told in the Talmud,1 to recall whenever ominous clouds stand overhead:

I realize things look rather grim, but that’s why I think this is a good time to remember that the despite all appearances, there can be things in play that we have no idea. Would things be better now if the Communist Moshe Dayan hadn’t given Har HaBayit back to Jordan? Of course. That’s why G-d gave it to us. But I suppose it’s best to end this little column with bitachon (from the above link)
Really, it’s beyond faith. Faith is when, despite all that you know and see, you hold tight to the conviction that G‑d is good and all He does is good, even if for the moment you can’t fathom how it is good—because it comes from such a high place that it is impossible for you to fathom.
But trust—bitachon—is an emotional response. To trust in G‑d is to stay calm and confident, just as if you could see the good clearly and enjoy it with all your senses.
Even if you can’t achieve such calm, you can imagine someone who really does live in such a way. You can say to yourself, “I know that this is so and it makes sense to me that I should feel calm and confident, just like Zusia of Anipoli or some other great tzadik.” Imagine that calmness, embrace the moment, and it will become much easier to attain it.

I’ve been thinking a lot about Mother’s day and family.
I’ve got to set the record straight about something though. In my last column G-d Bless Texas in what I can only say was a fit of naïve and utterly unsupported optimism I thought Gov Abbott was actually going to try to do everything he could to stop the country being invaded. One would think I should have known better by now. I can only say in my defense I still haven’t sent the Nigerian Prince the $500 that will net me a million. There was another posting by the wonderfully informed (and accurate) Michael Yon saying that the whole thing was what he calls a “Gate 42”.
In clear words, Gate 42 is a stage. A stage like BLM plaza in front of the White House. Created to draw cameras, disseminate propaganda, and provide the CNN-sorts the footage and sound bites they need to work within WEF-OGUS guidelines. Basically, the Gate 42s are like fascist-barbecues.
Yes, I feel stupid, I fell for it. I guess I just wanted to believe a politician somewhere was actually doing something useful. Again, I know. My apologies.
Now, housekeeping completed, back to my scheduled column, family.
I believe our traditional family, and family traditions have been under assault for a long time from the radical leftists. I think there are a couple of reasons for that, one is the radical left wants to eliminate the traditional family, and the close bonds that the group usually has with each other. The other is the left just wants to eliminate people. Period.
Most of these clips are under 2 minutes each, they all feature competent, experienced doctors that have spoke out against big pharma, using things like, you know, experience, data and studies. Therefore they are not “experts” hehehe, that word will forever be a punchline in my mind.

That segue to RFK brings us ever closer to my first point, all of these doctors and RFK have been so heavily censored the last few years. Came as a big shock to some of them, they used to be on the political left. They were probably as shocked as the residents of Chicago that are now at losing out on government paid housing to the illegal aliens.
If the pharmaceutical and medical industrial complex don’t want something to come out in the open, it probably won’t. I’d say ask Tucker Carlson, but, well. You know.
But all these people now looking to eliminate humans have the experimental mRNA gene therapy injections, experiment mRNA in food without telling people and it will be a while yet before we know how many will die or be disabled from those things.
Now they are pushing children to become transgender, that will involve a lifetime of pharmaceutical drugs. The screening process may be a bit more rigorous than this, but it doesn’t sound like it.
One of the more vocal about what the transition process was like, has been Chloe Cole. The way she and others who want to de-transition have been treated has been appalling.
I heard an interview with Chloe one time, in it she talked about how her parents wanted to be supportive of her, they didn’t want her transition, feeling that if she would just wait till she was a bit older things might be more settled in her mind. But then the “counselors” told her parents that if they didn’t let her transition, she had something like a greater than 90% or so chance of killing herself. They were asked “do you want a live son or a dead daughter?” I can believe that, truth is not a value of the left. She said her parents were trying to do the best the could to be good parents but this was really uncharted waters for the family.
Chloe will not be bearing children. Neither will any of the other people who are having medical mutilation procedures done.

This question isn’t particularly new. I had a mentor back in the early 2000s that pointed out to me that so many of the young committing egregious acts were on mind altering prescriptions. I feel really bad for parents, they are trying so hard to stand up for their children. To be strong, brave Moms and Dads and protect their offspring. Then they have doctors and schools and “experts” lying to them so they can’t even make an informed decision. Then if they stand up anyway, they face threats of physical violence from the lunatic left. For all the censoring of conservatives on FakeBook especially during the 2020 election, since things were labeled “hate speech” Fakebook is allowing a group called Loudon County Love Warriors to have a page. “I Would Shoot Him” – Radical Leftist Group with Ties to Elected Virginia Democrats Threatens Parents for Bravely Objecting to School Board’s Marxist Agenda
Their goal is to silence by threats of loss of livelihood or life, publicly, on Fakebook they make these threats. They openly state they plan to ruin these people’s lives or kill them. If this is “all about the children” how does growing up in poverty or without a parent who loved you help children? Merrick Garland’s DOJ? Oh no, they’re investigating the parents, not the terrorists. These parents know this, and yet they are still fighting upstream to protect their kids.
Our country is in deep trouble due to Biden voters, spineless Republicans and whoever has his hand up Biden’s rump and is controlling his mouth because we know Beijing Biden & his crime family aren’t really running things. They’re just profiting off the grift of betraying our country. But all we have to do is look around the world, almost all of the countries are under attack.
But you know what? There are still people like Todd Bensman, Ben Bergquam, Owen Shroyer, Oscar El Blue, and Michael Yon (who is everywhere) are still showing up on the border and trying to bring us information. People like Sen. Josh Hawley, John Kennedy, Ron Johnson and Rand Paul, and some others have been speaking out and trying to hold criminals accountable.
If you watch nothing else, watch this short video. I know it’s elephants, but it has nothing to do with politics. It has everything to do with Mother’s day. I would say being a good Mom is one of the hardest jobs in America these days.
The Father came in at the end and the mother and father worked together relentlessly to save their little calf. Who put that desire there? Who put that knowledge, physical ability and stamina there? Who put that love there, created that bond? G-d.
This is how I think G-d created our families to be. And that’s why the left has tried so hard to disrupt the bonds of family, through so many methods and the covid lockdowns and experimental injections were very effective at tearing some families apart. You add in politics and the myriad of other things that can divide people and I suspect some splits will never be mended. But even then, G-d is still in charge, and he still has a plan. Never doubt that. We also still have free will and the ability to make choices. So for those that have families, hold them close, don’t let the globalist left sever those bonds. And some families aren’t made up of blood kin, but close friends, sometimes closer than blood kin. But those people become families. I heard something in a TV show “The lone wolf dies in winter, but the pack survives.” I wouldn’t say it’s 100% true, but I suspect there is a lot of truth in it. We need to buoy each other when we can. This spirit, the spirit of this elephant family, that’s real, that’s in most people. Despite all the crazy that swirls around us, U.S. we have this. G-d created us this way, it’s in our DNA. And us? Well, we are family.

He’s the one that told me the American planes fly into their airport. Nicaraguan prisons are now empty, all the prisoners have been shipped to the US, now all the homeless have been rounded up off the streets and shipped to the US. All the paperwork is done there before they are loaded up and flown in. I’ve mentioned all this before. We were texting yesterday and he had an interesting bit of information for me. A brother of a friend of his came here illegally 6-7 months ago. He was flown into Springfield, MO. Heart of the country. This means he wasn’t counted as one of the illegal aliens entering the country or in any of the videos you see of the illegal aliens on the border. He was just quietly flown in by U.S. He got his shiny new citizenship yesterday. After 6-7 months. He was put up in a shelter, fed, clothed and housed, and given psychological counseling, so he could fit in better. I wonder if the counseling includes strong encouragement to vote Demoncrat and often in the next elections? But, with the new laws now his whole family can come! Of course they might need some financial assistance from U.S. I have a girlfriend that works in a hospital, a small hospital. She says it’s nothing to have 3 suicidal ideations in the ER in one night. And some are really young. I asked the youngest, she wouldn’t tell me. Where is their free government paid psychological counseling to undo the damage done by the some of the public schools right now? He now has a job, and is doing just fine. Several people my friend knows worked in hospitals in Nicaragua, they are now working in hospitals in America. Did they have to pass board exams? I don’t know. They weren’t threatened or forced to take the experimental gene therapy shots, I do know that. And most Nicaraguans didn’t want it.
Now here’s one threat I haven’t heard that many people talking about. This comes from Michael Yon, the war correspondent I’ve written about before. I have a relative who was driving to a travel nursing assignment. En route, he spent one night in a reputable motel in the Southwest US. About 2-3 days later he developed a case of scabies (mite infestation – Sarcoptes scabiei). The saying “seven year itch” derives from scabies.
He has been treated with the standard treatments:
topical permethrin from head-to-toe for 8 hours (very toxic, potentially cancer causing med) – condition didn’t resolve so next was:
oral ivermectin for some days – still unresolved.
Next may be a form of “escalation therapy,” such as allethrin, permethrin, and ivermectin in combination.
Dermatologists may use videomicroscopy to confirm the presence of the live mites after standard treatment.
It appears he may have a case that is resistant to standard scabies treatment.

My final source comes from a radio show I listened to this morning, one of the guests interviewed was JJ Carrell, a Retired Deputy Patrol Agent in Charge in the United States Border Patrol. He is saying within a generation the Natural born American citizen majority will be replaced by a non-citizen majority. He said many of those coming in are functionally illiterate in their native language. He made it clear he wasn’t disparaging them, but merely stating the facts of our newest government imported dependents. Uneducated, unskilled and millions and millions of them pouring in. Thank a Biden voter today! They are very easy to control though, for the government. For you when they try to steal your car, maybe not so much. He points out that all these free citizenships water down the impact of real citizenship. Their vote will count as much as yours. He’s guessing we’ve had 12-15 million come across now, and it could go to 20 million by the time the Biden crime regime is gone. JJ points out that Alejandro Mayorkas is driving all the policies. He was responsible for DACA, he’s responsible for ending Title 42, catch and release, prosecutorial discretion and for lying to Sen. Josh Hawley in congress. How did he get this power? But every day there are about 50 of them that are red flagged as being suspected terrorists, or terrorist connections. Every day. Fifty. Of that fifty, five will be confirmed, the other 45 that couldn’t be confirmed for sure? They are released into the U.S. This is from ONE station. Just one station, in California, not Texas. The other 45 released with no safety precautions. It also came up that many of the illegal immigrants still owe the cartels. So they might receive a proposition from the cartel once they are safely ensconced in the U.S. You hit this crowd of people with your truck on this day, or you shoot up this crowd at a gun-free mall on this day, or you remember your Mom back in ______, we’re fed-exing you her head tomorrow. Your sister? We’ll send you a body part, do you have a preference? There are now thousands of illegal alien terrorists in our country. Thank a Biden voter today. Oh, and if one of those traitor Senators is still in office and is one of yours? Thank them too. But JJ pointed out many Republicans are to blame as well. So as I said, I’ve had this column brewing today. Then tonight we are doing day 36 in the counting of the Omer. This was the day’s thought from the app I’m using for my prayer and it comes with a thought for each day. So maybe I’m not Texas National Guard, maybe I’m not a famous war correspondent, or a gutsy reporter on the border, but I can pray for all of them. Maybe I can find a way to send some donuts or ice cream to the Texas National Guard. Maybe I can thank Gov Abbott. These are are simple things, but that’s exactly the point of the thought for today’s meditation.
I was texting back and forth with a good friend of mine the other day when she mentioned a book she was reading. Hippie War, Battle for the Harrisonville Square, also on Amazon. Huh. As it turns out, one of the officers murdered was her cousin’s husband. Ah. Then she started telling me some of what was in the book, she said the “woke” of today is the “hippies” of yesterday. Really? Tell me more. Now somethings already made sense, like ecology and earth day. The left worships the creation and not the creator. But the more she shared, the more I thought “I want to read this book”. She said it was a fast read, not a real in depth book. It’s not in depth like a history, science or medical book, but the guy did do a lot of research. It also doesn’t hurt that he was a local boy at the time this happened, 1972. See a big city writer did a book on the topic in 1974 a couple of years after it happened. His deep investigation seemed to involved going out and drinking and smoking pot with the Hippies. The towns people meanwhile had more than their fill of the mainstream media. The incident drew attention nation wide and as far away as Paris, as in France. The media including papers from the nearest big city, which was Kansas City, in lockstep portrayed the peaceful little town as backwards, unenlightened, cows roaming the streets, etc. The big city writer was a member of the “New Journalism” trend. That means as long as the story ends up in the same place, you can make up conversations, add or remove people or events all to make the story “better”. So in other words, pretty much like all the media today, though back then few were doing it. But big city writer was one of them that did.
I’m giving you teacup versions of some of this, I don’t want to spoil the book, but tell enough for you to see the similarities.
So what did happen? In 1972 the hippie movement was in full swing, and little Harrisonville a mainly agricultural bedroom city of Kansas City had an infestation. I’m not going to cover a lot in case you want to read the book, but to give you and idea the hippies had basically made the square a nightmare to go visit or shop. The square was full of merchants at the time, clothing, drug stores, a sears store, hardware, jewelry, soda fountains, lawyers, pretty much everything. In the center of it is the courthouse built in 1844. It’s beautiful. The hippies would play frisbee in the streets not allowing traffic to flow on the series of one way streets, they would cat call and make lewd comments to women and girls shopping, they hassled the old men that liked to sit in the sun on the park benches and visit, they had sex in the bushes around or near the courthouse. In general, the merchants and everyone else was more than a little tired of them. Any attempts to get them to try to fit into polite society (be respectful of others) was met with things like “it’s my right to be in the street” (blocking traffic so that it backs up and people can’t make their doctors appointment) or something along those lines. This can be seen today in the number of conservative speakers that show up on a college campus to share a different view point than that of the college indoctrination team (professors). They are shouted down, prevented from speaking even if they were paid to be there, as the little vermin cry it’s their first amendment right to bang garbage can lids to prevent some one else from speaking. Basically the hippies regarded anything they wanted to do as their right to do it. They also opposed the Viet Nam war, and were totally on board with the green agenda. They may not have known much of anything, but they proclaimed it very loudly.
Law enforcement, well, since the hippies hated them they tried to make law enforcement officers miserable at every turn. Law enforcement hated them right back. Then you add in pressure from the community for them to do something, it wasn’t safe for decent folks any more. And it wasn’t. Law enforcement started trying to crack down, which the hippies hated. The merchants really hated the hippies at this point.
So what happened? A hippie named Bucket O’Chum “snapped”. He took his M-1 carbine and killed two police officers, one of them being my friend’s cousin-in-law. She said he was one of the nicest guys you’d ever want to meet. The other officer had only been on the job a month and was only working that day because another officer had wanted to switch shifts. After he put several rounds into both officers who had been standing and talking to 3 other men on the square, he headed up the road a short walk to the County jail, just a block or so away. On the way he shot a man getting out of his truck to drop off some dry cleaning. That man later died. The sheriff and his family lived at the front of the jail. They were sitting down to supper. The sheriff heard the shots, and went outside. He was shot in the should and leg for his efforts, he made it back inside his home and got his wife to safety. Bucket O’Chum was seen trying to open the door to the old age home located near the county jail. In a great mercy, I believe it was either that day, or the day before the old age home (as I believe it was called in the book) had decided to keep it’s exterior doors locked because of the trouble the hippies were causing on the square. So after he couldn’t get in there, he went to the jail. After shooting the sheriff and being denied the opportunity to kill innocent elderly citizens he proceed to what I would argue should have been his step #1. He put the gun in his mouth and killed himself. In the doorway of the old age home.
In the aftermath, the media descended. Hard to believe isn’t it? That the media can descend any lower than they already are? /snark font
As I’ve said, the media was horribly unfair. The town clammed up, the hippies didn’t. The media has leaned left for years and this occasion was no different. The law enforcement felt like their hands were tied as they were being blamed for the whole mess. So they treaded lightly. And the hippies were there in full bloom. Continuing to hassle citizens, block roads etc after the 3 day curfew ended. And then, then an amazing thing happened. The people had enough. On a Friday night about 150 farmers, townsmen, merchants and just every day citizens met on the square that night. The patrolled the square and the hippies that decided to proclaim loudly they had a right to be there and act however they wanted were politely invited to leave. With an ax handle if need be. Hippies cruising the square in their cars were told to go away. Responses of “its my right to be here” got the driver a butt kicking. And I’m guessing some of those old farm boys know how to do that just fine. The citizens patrol lasted 3 nights, and then it was over. There was much soul searching which I won’t go into, a wonderful letter was written by a WWII veteran named John Leach about “Who’s Fault”, and it was good. He brought the parents of the hooligans into focus, and the fact these kids didn’t work. Yes, they lived at home off their parents. Some in their 20s.

So lets look at some of the ideology involved. The following are mostly quotes from the book, in italics. My comments aren’t.
I think it was within a week of the murders that the city leaders tried to have a meeting with the hippies. They tried to explain to the hippies why and which of their actions were the problems.
The city representatives spoke about the hippies’ vulgar language, urinating in the bushes, sex in cars, and blocking access to businesses on the square. The aldermen suggested that hippies should congregate somewhere other than the square. The notion that they should leave the square did not sit well with the hippies. Edwin Allen protested, “That’s being discriminatory! If we want to be there, we have a God-Given right.” Allen also claimed that anyone complaining about the hippies being bad for business was being, “discriminatory.” Alderman Hacker told the hippies, “If all of you were working you might have time to relate these experiences that are troublesome and not right. Why don’t you have a job?”
Shortly after the shooting, F. Russell Millin, chairman of the Missouri Law Enforcement Assistance Council, (the LEAC), reached out to Chief Davis and a couple of other aldermen and asked if they wanted his group to come to town and help calm things down with the hippies.
The “help” they sent was a psychologist and a doctor of economics and social studies.
Dr. Jan Roosa (who spoke to the hippies using “far out” or “out of sight”, typical hippie jargon of the time) His partner and good friend Dr. Frank “Gene” Wagner
Wagner, an academic liberal sporting longer hair, had led the first anti-war march in Kansas City nine years before.
Oh goodie, an absolutely neutral pair to carry on the negotiations!
They sure missed something. Their “outsider,” a professor of some reputation from UMKC,quoted Mao Tse Tung as one of the wisest men in history. He used one of Chairman Mao’s sayings as a guideline to achieve the desired goals of the community. After the meeting, Wagner was said to have held court outside the building, preaching to all who would listen regarding the criminality of the Vietnam war, the benefits of communism, and the ridiculousness of Christianity. To say that these views did not go over well with the audience would be an understatement.
By the end of the doctors time, even they were beginning to realize the hippies didn’t want to find solutions, they wanted to pitch a hissy fit and have everything go their way. The more things change…
I’m really beginning to dislike hippies. Generally, the talk centers around their wants, their rights, what’s wrong with the town, and what a bum rap their getting…They are so sure that only they have the right answer (to everything.) In many ways they are much more conservative than many of the adult members of the community.
Still not so much on the neutral I think.
The hippies gave a list of suggestions to the doctors for the community leaders to enact.
Hippie Demands
1.Openness with respect to black—white relations
2.A commitment to the peace movement
3.A knowledge of ecology and the problems of pollution
4.Recognition of the social-economic-political challenges that were taking place in the larger society
5.A reasonable explanation of our reason or “purpose” in being involved in the communities’ affairs.
Seriously? This is what the hippies think will fix things?
Suggestions
Jobs without restrictions regarding hairstyle and mode of dress. The community should come to realize that they stereotype all long-haired youth as revolutionaries, indigent and lazy when such is not the case.
Businesses, particularly those on the square should realize that it is not the presence of the “long hairs” on the square that is effecting [sic] business as much as it is changes in the economic structure of the community.
Training and screening of police. Insistence that the police get to know the “long hairs” and not apply a double standard toward them with respect to enforcement of the law, relative to other members of the community.
Schools should overcome the traditional approach to teaching and adopt courses which are more relevant to the age. One quotation by a member of the group was “how can they say that Columbus discovered America when he was met at the beach by Indians.” They requested the introduction of courses on ecology, law, justice, communication …[unreadable] … and economics into the school curriculum. They were quite interested in the techniques whereby a group negotiates for changes in the community.
They requested that the police not be armed with riot guns and that they refrain from making threatening comments to the “long hairs.” They commented that one of the police sergeants had threatened them with a “shoot-out” on the square.
So basically it doesn’t matter what the employer wants in an employee, the hippies will dress, behave and stink as they choose. And give them jobs anyway. Because that’s how the world works to the left. I notice they beat Lori Lightweight and Alvin Bragg in demanding police be disarmed. They wanted law enforcement’s hands tied down to the ineffective level. Much like you see antifa and blm attack peaceful conservative rally goers these days and the police don’t intervene.
The the doctors met with the community leaders.
Throughout their description of the meeting, the writers of the report continually reference how they intellectually bested the mayor and City Council members by using certain mental techniques, as well as never falling into “traps” that the council members would try to lure them. Traps such as agreeing that if the hippies just followed certain rules the situation would improve.
Yeah, the doctors are completely neutral…insert face palm here.
Here’s the list of things the community leaders wanted. Anything different from today? Just like today parents and many community leaders in sane cities don’t want CRT or gender grooming taught in schools, in 1972 community leaders had things they thought the hippies should do, or not as the case may be.
Show regard for other members of the community and not harass them regarding their conservative way of life. “You drive a car, and these damn hippies tell you your [sic] polluting the air.”
Not make opportunities for themselves by the use of threats to other members of the community.
Talk to the members of the council or members of the school board not to the young people of the town if the “street people” wished to bring about changes in the town. The mayor stated that he was an easy man to talk to and that the young adults had failed to avail themselves of his office.
The young adults should develop a self-respect, having done this, the responsible citizens would be willing to give them a chance … [unreadable] …not insist upon “starting at the top.” At least one member insisted that under no circumstances would he be willing to offer a job to the “gang on the square.” He viewed such a move as a sell-out. Others however said that they would provide some of the group with jobs.
Meet the norms of the jobs as defined by the employer; quite a few of the council members insisted that while they did not object to long hair, their customers did and as a result, it was impossible to provide them with jobs if they insisted upon dressing like a “bunch of hippies”.
Stop blocking traffic in the square, conduct themselves in an orderly fashion, not molest the young girls, and not block the steps to the courthouse.
There is nothing unreasonable in there.
When discussing the citizen’s vigilance committee:
The committee’s intention was not to seriously injure anyone. They simply wanted to make sure the hippies, particularly the 10 – 20 “hard core” leaders, were removed from the Harrisonville Square. Leach would later admit, “We realize that this wasn’t exactly the American way of doing things. But it was the last resort. We’d tried everything else, and it hadn’t worked.”
Summarizing the actions of the Vigilance Committee later, Sheriff Bill Gough said:
… the people had enough and put an end to it. There was a gathering of citizens – about 150 of them. They broke up the hanging around on the square. They did some harassing of their own. But I saw no violence. It’s been pretty peaceful since the people made their point. When people get enough of anything, they put an end to it. They’ve (the hippies) scattered. Some are still here but they don’t gather at the courthouse anymore.
I bolded a couple of things, not the author. And this is one of my points. When people have had enough, they figure something out. They communicate with each other, they gather information and they find a way. That’s why there is such an effort to shut down free speech. That’s why the covid lock downs were so important to them, to sever normal community relationships or weaken the bonds. Strong communities come together, then they work together.
Soon after the shootings and later in time, many of those involved were asked a version of that same question. Some local authorities seemed to believe that if something had been done more quickly, the situation would not have escalated to the point that it did. Sheriff Gough said, “My personal opinion is that it never would have happened if we hadn’t let it go so far.” G.M. Allen voiced a similar sentiment when asked how the city would handle a comparable situation in the future, answered “We might not let it go so long before trying to put it down. Most people had the idea that if we ignored it, it would go away.”
Both Sheriff Gough and G.M. Allen admitted that authorities should have acted earlier to quell the undesirable actions by the hippies on the square. In any situation of authority, it is always easier to stop behaviors when they first appear as opposed to trying to stop them after the violator has been allowed the freedom to take these actions for a longer period of time.

If what you are doing is the right thing to do, there will be others who will ridicule, taunt and attempt in every way to intimidate you. That is the way the world works.
