How Not To Get Flocked

Ok, that’s misleading…there really isn’t anyway you can avoid it. If you have been following the topic of the loss of freedom and civil liberties due to the installation of Flock cameras this won’t be news to you. But if you haven’t, here’s a short run down.

In the category of “It seemed like a good idea at the time”, city, county, state and any other government you care to chose has begun installing Flock surveillance cameras. You know, just like they have in China. They do automatic license plate reading, and while they say they they don’t do facial recognition, there are other tools for that, I think that statement is still up for debate. The Flock cameras were supposed to be an aide is solving crime, tracking fleeing suspects, and stopping the heartbreak of psoriasis. And perhaps they really can do all those things.

However, here is what we have so far.

Your Whereabouts Are Known at All Times

“Big Brother is watching you” is no longer a fictional admonition. Everywhere you go, your location is recorded by phone technology, license plate readers, Uber and Lyft transactions, and cameras.

Privacy? Forget about it. Your location history is in the hands of many tech companies. Can the police and other government agencies force tech companies to share that information about you?

.

If your location history puts you within a 1-mile radius of a bank robbery with hundreds of other people, you could become a suspect, swept up in the wide net cast to find the perpetrator.

And this has happened. Auto Journalist Swarmed by Cops After Flock Cameras Mistakenly Flag Car Theft: We ‘Live in a Surveillance State’

Suddenly, in a Kohl’s parking lot, four police cars surrounded Feder’s vehicle. Hands on their guns, the officers began shouting for Feder and his wife to get out of the vehicle.

Fortunately, the couple complied with police instructions.

At that point, after a humiliating pat-down, Feder learned that Flock’s cameras had flagged the vehicle’s plates as stolen.

Moreover, the ambush at Kohl’s occurred after officers had tracked the vehicle for days.

After a fair amount of difficulty, Feder and the officers finally learned that the problem began in faraway Los Angeles, California. There, a Jaguar Land Rover dealership had reported New Jersey plates 34 03 DTM stolen. Flock’s system, however, had recorded the allegedly stolen plate as simply 34 DTM. Then, the system flagged Feder’s Range Rover, which had a plate number of 34 10 DTM.

In other words, Flock’s surveillance system ignored the two middle numbers.

Within the same article, can you be falsely accused of a crime due to a Flock up and in contrast to “innocent until proven guilty” you get “Flocked until you can prove you’re innocent.” As referenced above in the first linked column.

For instance, according to the Denverite, in September, an officer from the Columbine Valley Police Department in Denver, Colorado, visited the home of financial planner Chrisanna Elser. The officer issued her a summons for petty theft and accused her of stealing a $25 package from a porch in nearby Bow Mar, not because Flock cameras had captured her vehicle plates at the scene of the alleged crime, but because those cameras captured her vehicle entering and then leaving the town around the time someone stole the package.

The officer also erroneously claimed to have Ring doorbell camera footage of Elser swiping the package.

Worst of all, after she received the summons, Elser had to prove her own whereabouts. The fact that she did so successfully and that the police department eventually voided the summons, however, does not diminish the broader crime against civil liberties.

Flock Cameras Nearly Got Two Americans Killed Last Week

Flock cameras nearly turned a routine drive into a deadly encounter last week, and exposed how dangerous a new surveillance state can become.

Last Thursday, a Flock camera in Wisconsin flagged a silver SUV as connected to a Milwaukee homicide investigation. Brookfield police shut down I-94, boxed in the vehicle, and detained its two occupants at gunpoint. There was just one problem: the alert was outdated. Milwaukee police had failed to remove the vehicle from the system after it was no longer wanted in the investigation. The SUV’s occupants had nothing to do with the homicide, yet a bureaucratic lapse and an automated alert subjected them to a high-risk police stop that could easily have ended in tragedy.

.

This comes as questions about a China-like surveillance state become increasingly relevant as Flock systems expand across the country. Flock says its network now includes nearly 100,000 cameras operating in more than 6,000 communities across 49 states, giving participating law-enforcement agencies access to a vast, interconnected database of vehicle-location records.

That is the danger at the heart of Flock’s expansion: it does not require a malicious officer or a deliberately abusive policy to threaten innocent people. It requires only one stale alert, one bad entry, or one bureaucratic failure, and suddenly an ordinary driver becomes the target of a high-risk police stop.

And that’s just a couple of mistakes made by Flock. What about the human component with access to this sort of surveillance?

Five Police Officers Arrested and Fired After Abusing Flock Surveillance Cameras

Five officers with the Albany Police Department in Georgia were arrested and fired after allegedly abusing Flock cameras.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation revealed in a July 6 release that the officers were charged with “Misuse of License Plate Data and Violation of Oath of Office.”

The Albany Police Department had conducted an internal audit of the Flock cameras, which automatically read license plates and capture other vehicle details such as color, make, and model.

The audit revealed that the officers “previously accessed the Flock system on multiple occasions and utilized the retained license plate data for non-law enforcement purposes.”

Each of the five officers — Tytianna Davis, Jade Jackson, Nicholas Richardson, Brittney Smith, and Issac Whitus — are between 23 and 32 years of age and were charged with one count of Violation of Oath of Office.

They were each charged with between one and 11 counts of Misuse of License Plate Data.

The now-former police officers were arrested and booked into the Dougherty County Jail.

A one off with some bad cops in one department?

When Flock Comes to Town: How These AI Cameras Work and What to Do About Them

Apparently, that’s a no.

Since Flock Safety began partnering with law enforcement, a growing number of officers have been found abusing the surveillance system. In one instance, a Kansas police chief used Flock cameras 164 times while tracking an ex. In another case, a sheriff in Texas lied about using Flock to “track a missing person,” but was later found to be investigating a possible abortion. In Georgia, a police chief was arrested for using Flock to stalk and harass citizens. In Virginia, a man sued the city of Norfolk over purported privacy violations and discovered that Flock cameras had been used to track him 526 times, around four times per day.

Also in Georgia, but this time Savannah, 6 Georgia police employees terminated for using Flock cameras to stalk people

This time, FOUR Savannah, Georgia, police officers and two civilian employees of the department have been charged with using the Flock surveillance “car tag readers” to stalk people for their own personal reasons.

We’ll be told, again, that this is not the fault of Flock and that the cameras are simply being misused, so we have to accept this level of surveillance in exchange for our freedom.

Yeah, that last line is perfect, and no it’s not the Babylon Bee.

Baton Rouge police defend Flock cameras as privacy concerns mount nationwide

It’s more than just a license plate reader.

Morse said the system goes beyond standard license plate searches.

Instead of just typing in the license plate you can say, ‘hey I’m looking for this red Honda that has a black number and damage on the passenger side,’” Morse said.

The cameras track more than stolen vehicles and active police targets. Every vehicle that passes a camera is photographed and logged with a digital time and location stamp that is kept for 30 days, according to Flock.

While at this time Flock denies using facial recognition, I’m not sure that’s not a component.

The Camera Knows You Belong

The layers of convenience are hard to resist.

Whole Foods knows what you buy to eat, which is connected to Amazon, which knows what supplements you buy and what you order for your home, which is connected to countless other systems, all feeding into a growing web of information built quietly around each of us. It used to feel unsettling when you talked about something near your phone and then saw an ad for it later. Now, we accept it as part of life.

Not that long ago, we would have been appalled at the idea of a store using facial recognition while we shop. Today, we barely notice.

….

Even in the small town I live in, a new layer of surveillance is being introduced. Recently, the city council approved a contract with Flock cameras, installing license plate-tracking technology throughout town. These systems are not exclusively for law enforcement. They are available for purchase, for monitoring, and for data collection.

The commitment was about $17,000.

People noticed. In a place where news travels fast and people like to talk, it didn’t take long for the backlash to begin. Some residents have already taken matters into their own hands, cutting down cameras. Others showed up at the city council meeting to voice their concerns.

People move to small towns for a lot of reasons, but being tracked every time they drive to the grocery store, hardware store, or feed store is not one of them.

A few days later, I was at the airport and chose to opt out of the facial scan, as I always do. The employee rolled their eyes and said, “Do you know how many other cameras have already captured you walking through here?”

I told them I didn’t know, but this was the only one giving me the option to opt out. So I was opting out.

It is getting harder and harder to opt out.

If you want to know what tracking surveillance is being used in your area, https://www.atlasofsurveillance.org/

It’s run by the Electronic Frontier Foundation.

But this is an issue that seems to be bringing a lot of the political spectrum together. As much as it pains me to use something from cnn.

Flock cameras are getting mobbed

In recent weeks and months, though, another kind of network has taken shape: a coast-to-coast pattern of opposition to the company. The objectors range from public officials to individual vigilantes, spanning metropolitan and rural America alike. In a politically divided country, opposition to Flock cameras is the rare issue that binds people across the ideological spectrum.

It’s a violation of people’s privacy,” said Caleb Williams, a 24-year-old in rural South Carolina who identified as a political independent.

Rational people know it comes down to violating personal liberties,” said Adrien Kaiser, a self-described constitutional conservative who lives northwest of Houston.

I firmly believe the government can do things to make life better for people, but a surveillance state is the first step towards a police state,” said Jon Dendy, a progressive in Massachusetts.

….

Oftentimes our critics will say we need to make a choice between safety or privacy. And I think that’s I think that’s wrong,” Flock CEO Garrett Langley said in a recent interview with CNN’s Eric Levenson. “As a country, as a society, as a species, we have proven over and over and over again that we can have safety and privacy.”

Over the last few months, Flock has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. Police have been caught using the system to stalk exes and colleagues, and journalists have reported that, contrary to the company’s claims that it only logs vehicles, the cameras can be used to track people.

No information available it its a real journalist or just someone from cnn. If it’s a real journalist, then considering it’s cnn, it would have to have been Scott Jennings.

And since there does seem to be some agreement politically.

Dump the Flock: Flock Cameras as the Catalyst for a Modern Boston Tea Party

We saw it with COVID: Under the banner of “safety,” governments and partners bypassed privacy norms, imposed vaccine passports and proof-of-status requirements for everyday public spaces, and normalized emergency powers that eviscerated medical choice and bodily autonomy. The same playbook is now expanding into perpetual surveillance.

Picture this: Every time you drive down the road — to work, to church, to pick up your kids, or just to clear your head on Louisiana’s backroads — a network of cameras is logging your license plate, your vehicle’s make, model, color, and often more. Timestamped. Geolocated. Uploaded to the cloud. Searchable by police departments across the country, sometimes federal agencies, with little to no warrant required for historical “fishing expeditions.”

This isn’t science fiction. This is Flock Safety’s automated license plate reader system — over 80,000 cameras strong nationwide, expanding fast, and already operating in places like Central, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans right here in Louisiana. Marketed as a “safety tool” to catch stolen cars and criminals, it’s fast becoming the infrastructure of a modern surveillance state.

We all remember covid, where a man was arrested for walking out of his apartment and sneezing in an elevator all alone. People arrested in the fresh air, people ratting on their neighbors for having company. Now with Flock, you don’t even need the neighbors to rat. They can just monitor the neighborhood like the did with the lady arrested in Denver. Yes, we all remember the Covid era.

So, they’re are building a file on everyone, depending on where you shop I suppose. What you eat, where you go, who you see, known contacts, supplements all according the article by Mollie in The Camera Knows you belong.

All without a warrant.

What else might go into that dossier on you? This brings me to my final point…honest.

Gun Range Removes Flock Cameras Pointed at Entrance to Parking Lot

A gun range in the suburbs of Milwaukee, Wisconsin has taken down Flock cameras that were installed more than six months ago, after a video showing the cameras and questioning why they were there went viral.

There are 4 Flock cameras “pointing into the entrance of the parking lot. Not the street — into the entrance, so they can read every license plate that comes in here”

….

According to a note posted on the range’s infrequently used Facebook page, the decision to allow Flock to install their cameras came after a string of burglaries at several Milwaukee-area gun shops.

….

allow a third-party to put up multiple cameras to record the business’s parking lot instead of just putting up some security cameras of their own. Eagle Sports says it was oblivious to the fact that the system would “later” be used in ways that raise serious privacy concerns, but unless Eagle Sports Range did absolutely no research into Flock beforehand, management had to know that the cameras would be on 24/7 and recording the movement (and license plates) of every customer and employee.

And, apparently they did absolutely no research into the Flock company….

Flock is not foreign owned. It was founded by three Georgia Tech alums in Atlanta, Georgia in 2017. I have no idea where Eagle Sports Range got the idea that it’s an Israeli company, but it’s not true, and management should really take this post down before they get accused of blaming the Jews for their mistake.

Covid showed us the government has absolutely no problem abusing their authority. Obviously, it seems like this system has enough flaws and enough problems to cause concerns. I think a hard look right back at it while it’s staring at U.S. is in order. Very short order.

Media Malfeasance

I’m sure we’ve all watched the media meltdown with a degree of humor. I mean its funny watching arrogant people who are so sure the know the answer to everything, their opinion is always more informed and worldly than the lowly peasants viewing their show, come absolutely uncorked when they were wrong about something. Else. Again.

media meltdown

A little video for you, it will open in a new window.

Twitter, or X now I guess, has had tons of videos of unhinged leftists yelling, screaming carrying on in a manner reminiscent of the two year old who just had their favorite toy taken away.

Even the coverage by newspapers from other countries that have a bit of honesty in their media are a bit bemused.

From the Hindustan Times Liberals share meltdown videos as Trump claims victory in the US elections: Watch

.A third user wrote, “Wait… you mean all the calling us “Nazis” and “threats to their democracy” didn’t bring home the win for them last night? Weird.” Another user wrote, “That would be my liberal friends. Bless their hearts. I slept like a baby,” while one user wrote, “Can anyone post their favourite Liberal Tears Martini recipes for happy hour tonight? Thanks in advance.”

This one is American Dem Meltdown After Trump Win Gives Comic Relief

….Sadly, hardcore leftists never hear the truth because they get all their information from biased news sources and hyperbolic Democratic politicians.

And from the Federalist Lying Corporate Media Are Responsible For Kamala Voters’ Delusional Despair

.One cannot overstate just how much influence the corporate press has over the majority of leftists. It’s less a bubble, and more a multi-layered, multi-dimensional, bomb-proof echo chamber that completely warps the reality of the person trapped in it. Perhaps it feels like a transparent and burstable bubble at first, but for so many leftists, it has morphed into a prison cell from which there is no escape. It’s like Orwell’s “double-think” in 1984, but more subtle and deep-seated.

So as you can see in the short film clip at the start of the column, the leftist media is completely unwilling to look at the lies they’ve told the American public, going back years. Russia Russia Russia, 51 intelligence officials (who need to have their clearance yanked along with their pensions) the lawfare prosecutions, national abortion ban, one deluded woman thinks President Trump is going to start a matchmaking service, the economy wasn’t better under President Trump and one demented woman moaning on a TV show she now had less rights than in her father’s time, that she’s lost her rights. I think it was Sunny Hostin but I could be wrong, but that is not a bright woman. He’s not even sworn in yet you dim bulb, what rights have you lost?

So yes, some of the media may believe their own lies, especially the opinion shows like the view, and who knows, maybe even some of the news readers. But some of them know they are lying.

But you know who else believes the corrupt media? Hard core leftists. The ones who shut anyone down that tries to tell them anything counter to their world view. The tolerant ones calling for censorship. And mentally they are unwilling to cope with it. Just look at how universities are preparing the students for life in the real world. Election results you don’t like? Pet a puppy, play with some legos and here’s some milk and cookies, and no classes. No I’m not kidding. Why do parents even let their kids go to college, let along pay all that money and send them?

But this is only the intermission between Act 1, President Trump winning re-election and what is to come, Act 2. Mark Halprin and Tucker Carlson had a chat about the election aftermath.

So what has this already led to? I mean besides blue haired women shaving their hair off and letting their armpit and leg hair grow, vows not to sleep around and refusal to have children and threats to leave the country? Ok, so I’ll admit, I’m not sure what in any of that is actually bad, I mean you’ll be able to tell at a distance who you want to avoid, and goodness knows leftists not producing more leftists is probably a good thing. Ok, here are a couple, one funny as heck with Stephen Hilton and one that is just jaw dropping. Funny first. Catchy tune.

https://x.com/i/status/1854320812272034154

Then the jaw dropper. Video #4 is the one you want, titled “part 3 of hell on earth”. Um, yeah, I can see why the guy would feel that way.

https://x.com/PingouinHeureux/status/1854441610802532410

But it has led to some truly horrifying things.

Trump-Hating Minnesota Man Killed Himself and Entire Family Two Days After Election

.A screenshot of a post on his Facebook page accuses Republicans of making it harder for women to leave abusive relationships. The post included an article published by the far-left, conservative-hating PBS, accusing conservative lawmakers of wanting to end “no-fault divorce.”

WHAT? Who said anything about ending no fault divorce? And what’s even more horrible, he heard this on PBS, paid for with taxpayer dollars. The man killed his wife, his ex-wife and the two children. He had one with each of them. And himself. Because of the dishonest media.

Crazed women are openly considering premeditated murder. Liberal Cat Ladies Reveal “Battle Plan” To Poison Trump Men With Aqua Tofana

Others have made what appears to be terroristic threats, suggesting at the use of strong poison against men because they voted for the evil ‘Orange Man.’

….

Internet searches for Aqua Tofana—a potent poison created in Sicily around 1630 by a woman named Giulia Tofana, or Tofania, and historically used by women to free themselves from relationships by killing men—spiked shortly after the election results.

So now the unhinged left has moved from not sleeping with men, marrying them, or having children, they’ve advanced to killing them. And urging other women to do so as well. I’m guessing Match memberships are going to be dropping like rocks.

Why? All because the dishonest corrupt fake news has convinced gullible, but committed leftists that Donald Trump, a man who was in office for 4 years already is going to be as bad or worse than the last four years of demoncrats who yanked rights are every other turn and actually did throw people in gulags. Plus murder innocent humans, squirrels and racoons. That they didn’t object to. Stifle free speech? Censorship, all good with them. But somehow President Trump’s re-elections with the threat of lower prices, safer streets and no men in women’s rest rooms or locker rooms has them all more terrified than a muslim riot.

Which brings me to my next charge against the corrupt dishonest media. Their biased coverage of the middle east.

On 7 October 2023 there was the worst loss of Jewish life in one day since the Holocaust. On 8 October the terrorists took the stage. Did the media point out many of the terrorist attackers were people the previously gullible leftists of the Kibbutzim had tried to help? Nope. Did the media point out UNRWA’s history of corruption? Nope, when it became known UNRWA employees were holding hostages in their homes did the media cover that? Nope. And on and on with the MSM’s anti-Israel biased reporting on full display. Over the weekend I saw a clip of some blond woman supposedly reporting the news saying that what happened in Amsterdam was because some Israeli soccer fans tore down Falestian flags. Because of course Falestinian flags should be flown in Amsterdam. So what did happen in Amsterdam?

The whole video is probably interesting, but the clip I want is maybe 10 minutes long and it’s set to start there.

https://www.youtube.com/live/byjo1pCIMAc?t=1532s

up until about 32 minutes. It starts at 25 minutes.

This video has footage, and viewpoint.

This sorry state of affairs is brought to you by unfettered immigration. The very foolish former Europistan imported millions of people that hate them and their way of life. Just like the demoncrats in America. These people do not assimilate, no instead they take over areas and the previous citizens are no longer allowed to go there. Former citizens are now basically a dhimmi…so long as they pay the jizya tax that is. There is apparently a horrible red-green alliance like what was on display in America in the wake of the attack of 7th October where you had very stupid leftist college students in their miniskirts and shorts with keffiyehs wrapped around their shoulders or on their heads. Apparently they haven’t a clue that attire will absolutely get them killed in a Sharia country. The green part of the alliance is the left, like demoncrats and academia, the red part is the muslims that are now in most countries. Not just America but Europistan is filled with them, and I suspect the French and English politicians are terrified of them. A reporter from Rebel news was in Amsterdam after the riots and there was a protest from the left trying to excuse the antisemitic attack on the night before Kristallnacht.

Dick Schoof, the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, who is part of a right-wing coalition with anti-Islamist Geert Wilders‘s party, said he was “horrified” by the scenes.“This is completely unacceptable. I am in close contact with all parties involved and have just spoken to

[Prime Minister] Netanyahu by phone to stress that the perpetrators will be identified and prosecuted,” he wrote on X.Wilders, meanwhile, called the attacks a “pogrom,” saying, “We have become the Gaza of Europe. Muslims with Palestinian flags hunting down Jews. I will NOT accept that. NEVER.”

~~ from The National Pulse. Injuries and 62 Arrested After Antisemitic ‘Pogrom’ in Amsterdam.

Ok, so a couple of days later, the Jews have escaped back to Israel and the peaceful Falestinians are all happy happy now? Nope. Amsterdam Aflame as Pro-Palestinian ‘Youths’ Riot.

A tram has been set on fire, and at least one man attacked in the streets, as pro-Palestinian “youths” have taken to the streets of Amsterdam in the Netherlands days after prior antisemitic violence.

Some of the media reports said Israeli soccer fans tore down Falestinian flags…again, why is it exactly that Falestinian flags are hanging in Amsterdam? And they chanted anti-Falestinian slogans. Oh, so that totally justifies it. What’s the “it”? In case you didn’t see the Amir video, the muslim taxi drivers worked together to help coordinate the pogrom (2024 edition) along with shop keepers and police that “object” to protecting Jews. Those media reports that tried to imply this was started because a Arab flag was torn down in a Dutch city went light on reporting that the muslims were attacking Jews, beating, stabbing and the old arab favorite, running them over with cars.

Which brings me back to the start of this column, however much you hate the corrupt, dishonest, biased media? It’s not enough. The are the reason much of the country is so divided, along with the educational system. But I would say the media bears the bulk of the blame. They should have a least been honest enough to tell people what “globalize the Intifada” means. But they didn’t, did they?

This is an excellent column filled with history and details of the Amsterdam pogrom, it’s well worth the reading.

A very modern pogrom – coming to a stadium near you?

Another Place, Another Time

I guess I’ve had a couple trips down memory lane lately. Well, other people’s memory as well as my own.

I saw this iconic picture yesterday hanging on a wall and it started a conversation between me and another lady sitting there. So I looked up the history on it. Far from being faked as has been supposed by some,

Lunch atop a skyscraper
Lunch atop a skyscraper

On September 20, 1932, high above 41st Street in Manhattan, 11 ironworkers took part in a daring publicity stunt. The men were accustomed to walking along the girders of the RCA building (now called the GE building) they were constructing in Rockefeller Center. On this particular day, though, they humored a photographer, who was drumming up excitement about the project’s near completion. Some of the tradesmen tossed a football; a few pretended to nap. But, most famously, all 11 ate lunch on a steel beam, their feet dangling 850 feet above the city’s streets.

For these dudes, eating lunch, having a smoke, reading a paper 850 feet above the ground was not a big deal. Another place, another time. It’s like Sheila, can we take a picture of you feeding your animals?  Business as usual.

Then I got a email from a friend of mine with pictures of tinker toys, drive in movies, Dippity Do, Howdy Doody, saddle oxfords, and many more. All things I certainly remember. Another place, another time.

Then I had a conversation with my Mom today, and we talked about the picture in the course of the conversation. How we were as a people then. Tough, strong, brave, and we wanted to make our own way in the world. We wanted our children to have more and better chances than we did. We wanted to leave the world a better place for them. And often that was in the form of hard work, dangerous work, creative work, and sometimes war. Another place, another time.

And now, our children are “children”. In college they seek counseling from the trauma of seeing a name written in chalk. They need “safe spaces” in college, and college communications professors (fired now at University of Missouri at Columbia) trying to shut down, well, communications. They need the segregated “safe spaces” that the civil rights movement fought against a mere 50 years ago. Those struggles forgotten and dishonored. Another place, another time.

Instead of Mr. Smith Goes To Washington we have the dimocratic toddler time as they enjoy their catered in meals, bathroom breaks and publicity photo ops, rather than working to do right until they collapse. They are pitchin’ a hissy fit as they try to take rights, self-defense, endowed by our creator, not them. Another place, another time.

Dimocrat toddler time

Recently a holocaust survivor publicly confronted former London Mayor Ken Livingstone about several statements, one of which was hitler was a Zionist. He made several other erroneous statements and the radio host corrected him. He knew so much that wasn’t true.

“It isn’t so much that liberals are ignorant. It’s just that they know so many things that aren’t so.” ~~Ronald Reagan

But it was the statement of Mala Tribich, survivor of Bergen-Belsen that hit me hard.

“I find them very offensive and hurtful when people belittle the Holocaust. When they use the Holocaust to score a political point,” she said.

“I really can’t see it. They are usually people in high places. I take them as being intelligent and educated. Yet they can stoop so low to use the Holocaust to better their positions. What really bothers me is that they do it whilst there are some survivors still around. What will they do when we’re all gone?”

As anti-Semitic attacks are on the rise world wide, entire political parties are openly anti-Semitic, anti-Israel or both, and it’s accepted or excused. They say things that would have gotten them shunned, kicked out of the political arena or the papers would have been chewing them up with the facts of their lies. Another place, another time.

Our wonderful Nicki and I exchanged some e-mails today talking about Moshe Feiglin, and she nailed it.

I just think it’s a sad state of our world that we actually hold men such as this as heroes. They should be the NORM. They should be the rule, not the exception, ya know?

And they did used to be, in another place, another time.

And so, someday the survivors will be gone, and then what will they (the liberals, the anti-Semites, the anti-Israel people) do? They will be confronted by me. And they will be confronted by Zelman’s Partisans, and they will be confronted by good, strong and brave people everywhere. People that seem to come from another place, another time.
