Rittenhouse Being Sued

Kyle Rittenhouse is being sued by the the idiot who chased him down and pointed a gun at him.

Kyle Rittenhouse hit with lawsuit from man he shot during 2020 Kenosha clash: ‘Little bit of a shock’
Gaige Grosskreutz, who testified he pointed a firearm at Rittenhouse before the then-teenager shot Grosskreutz and two others, is seeking economic losses, “damages for emotional distress, humiliation, loss of enjoyment of life, and other pain and suffering on all claims,” and punitive damages.

I could talk about the basic stupidity of suing a person after you already testified under oath that he shot you only after you threatened to kill him by pointing an unlawfully possessed handgun at him. But that’s a little too obvious.

I want to talk about a comment on that report.

He went looking for trouble armed with a gun and found it. Have can keep dealing with the consequences.

“toatsrokinit” seems to think he’s talking about Kyle acting provocatively. But his claim very much more accurately describes the actions of plaintiff Grosskreutz.

Kyle was there cleaning up graffiti and offering medical first aid to protesters.

Grosskreutz was there to protest.

Kyle ran from threats, and only shot is self defense.

Grosskreutz chased Kyle and pointed a gun at him while Kyle was down on the ground.

And note: Grosskreutz was “armed with a gun,” and in chasing Kyle was definitely “looking for trouble.”

Also note: Kyle’s rifle possession was lawful.

Grosskreutz’s concealed pistol possession was unlawful.

And yet the morons who still insist — without any evidence beyond “cuz I said so” — that Kyle was carrying that rifle “looking for trouble,” never seem to wonder about Grosskreutz. And why he was unlawfully armed.

The guy who effed around and found out.

Kyle Rittenhouse Trial Approaches

The trial of the young man who was attacked by three different Antifa/BLM/Democrat storm troopers begins Monday, 1st November.

If you need some background on this, Bear did a great job covering it at the time.

KYLE RITTENHOUSE: SUPER-HERO

MEDAL OF FREEDOM FOR KYLE RITTENHOUSE?

In this day and age when words can be changed to mean whatever the social media giants, mainstream media aka #FakeNews attempt to twist them to mean, I find it a tiny bit encouraging that the judge in charge on the trial has said some very sensible things.

Judge Bruce Schroeder has standards, like actual guidelines that he follows and it doesn’t seem to matter to him what color the people are, what socio-economic level or anything else. They are like these principles that you apply to events. Shocking these days indeed.

Judge Schroeder has ruled that the prosecution is not allowed to call the three men that tried at various times to attack Kyle, or to shoot him “victims”.

Considering that the prosecution (someone that used to be interested in the law, and taking the side of law-abiding citizens) argued that just because one of the storm troopers was trying to burn down a gas station didn’t mean he deserved to be shot by Kyle, because just burning down a gas station doesn’t have anything to do with Kyle. Actually I believe it did. But if that’s the prosecutions approach probably a good thing the judge explained to him why you can’t call them victims.

Judge Schroeder stated the term “victim” is “loaded” because it assumes a degree of guilt by a defendant.

He did say they could call them arsonists, looters or rioters. Presumably because that is acts they were engaged in during the encounter.

He said the prosecution could elevate them to Fauxci level of sainthood if they thought it would help their case. Ok, I made that comparison up. But he did say they could “beatify” them. The judge seems to think the “victimhood” business will be decided by a jury, not the prosecutor who thinks “it’s just arson” or the MSM aka #FakeNews. Shocking eh what?

The trial is to determine did Kyle have reason to believe his life was in danger. I don’t think anyone who saw the video could come to any other conclusion.

This video is still up for the moment. It’s an eleven minute video with a timeline talking about what happened. It’s a good video, I think Lin Wood may have had something to do with the defense at this point. You will have to jump through about three hoops to see it.

I’m saying prayers for this young man.

More Financial Discrimination Against Kyle Rittenhouse

The legal defense fund at GiveSendGo for Kyle Rittenhouse has hit another roadblock. The scumbags at Discover Card (Twitter feed) will begin blocking its cardholders from donating. This follows GoFundMe and other fundraising hosts booting defense funds for the young man.

Hello all,

I’m writing you today with more frustrating news. We just learned that Discover is planning to cut off the ability of its cardholders to make payments to this fundraiser; this development unfortunately follows days of relentless targeting by big tech on the order of Facebook, Twitter, Stripe, and Instagram. Other credit card companies are likekly to follow, unless a strong message is sent to all of these globalist-controlled corporations that we are not willing to sit by while they erase our Freedom of Speech through their un-American accounting practices. I encourage all of you to contact them through their website, and where able, make personal statements by taking your business elsewhere. We will likely be figuring out alternative ways to donate soon, and I will keep you posted.

On a more positive note, Kyle has a personal thank you for all of you fine people: https://twitter.com/CaliKidJMP/status/1300927120282132480

Thank you for your continued support!

If you still can, please donate:

And be sure to tell Discover what you think of their disgusting decision. It is not the job of the payment processing/banking system to decide who and what lawful activities their cardholders can support. It’s the job of courts and juries of the people to decide who is and isn’t guilty, not politically biased businesses.

“Stay in Your Lane,” Discover.

Medal of Freedom for Kyle Rittenhouse?

Update: On 9/11/2020, at 2:09AM, Twitter suspended me for linking to this column, calling it “glorifying violence.” Noting that he performed good civic services, and acted in self defense only after he was unable to escape is “glorifying violence.” Noting that he exercised remarkable restraint is “glorifying violence.”

I have appealed the suspension. If they do not reverse their judgement, the suspension will amount to a ban, because I will not comply with Twitter’s censorious demand.

This case is driving the media nuts. They can’t demonize this kid. Apparently he’s squeaky clean. He was a police cadet.

They can’t mourn the loss of treasured lives. He shot a pedophile and a couple of other felons (one unlawfully in possession of a gun himself*).

They can’t paint Rittenhouse as the aggressor with multiple videos showing them attacking him. Someone else fired the first shot.

Stand Your Ground/Duty To Retreat? He tried. The attackers kept chasing him.

Evil “high capacity” magazines? This exactly why you need standard capacity: multiple attackers.

Endanger innocent bystanders? Show me the report of a single case of collateral damage. It seems every round he fired hit a valid defensive shooting target.

About the only thing anyone can really critique is, “Why was he there at all?” Question answered:

  • After he got off work as a lifeguard at a Kenosha pool, he volunteered to do civic service.
  • He started by cleaning graffiti off a school.
  • Then he moved to clean up at local businesses.
  • Equipped with a first aid kit, he patrolled and gave assistance to at least one injured rioter.

(Added: Now we know what initiated the incident; Kyle was attacked in retaliation for helping to put out a literal dumpster fire.)

After a long day of public service and cleaning graffiti and debris, he finished up by taking out the trash.

As I said, the media apparently can’t find dirt on the kid. They may even fear to look too hard lest they discover that in his spare time he runs an abused animal rescue program and teaches disabled kids to read.

Trump needs to award Kyle Rittenhouse a Medal of Freedom. His services just that one day rate one far more than acting in a movie or writing bad poetry.

Added: If you’d like to contribute to Kyle’s legal defense fund, it’s HERE.

* Yes, Rittenhouse is charged with unlawfully possessing a firearm as a minor, but I’ve seen more than one attorney noting that Wisconsin has some exceptions that might apply in his case. I’ll wait and see.
