Is History Going To Repeat?

Yom HaZikaron, Yom HaShoah, Holocaust remembrance day was April 20th, one day after the 77th anniversary of the Warsaw ghetto uprising on April 19th. I’ve got a few random thoughts this year.

The Warsaw Ghetto uprising actually had 3 different resistance groups that were fighting. Most know of ZOB with Mordechai Anielewicz, The Jewish Fighting Organization. Less well known was the communists and Bund also fought against the nazis, and the other group was right wing, the Zionist youth movement “Beitar” the “Jewish Military Union” (ZZW). Beitar sound familiar? It was established by Zev Jabostinsky. My puppy’s middle name is Zev, that’s appropriate as it means “wolf”. Most of the fighters were younger, and I’m guessing had seen their families hauled off and knew what was coming.

The Wuhan flu Zoo

Locked in a ghetto and told they aren’t allowed to leave without a permission slip. Possibly like the one I’m carrying in my purse along with my name badge which will get me through road blocks should the be instituted. I shamelessly swiped this from a friend of mine, who also apparently likes Mark Levin

How far are you willing to go with this?

If they told you to load your families onto train cars so that you could be taken to Virus Protection Facilities for your own safety, would you do it?

YES. Yes, you would. That much has become painfully obvious to me. And the whole time, you’d be shaking your finger and yelling at those of us who refused, accusing us of being “a danger to society” and “not caring if people die.”

But they don’t have to load you onto train cars and take you to Virus Protection Facilities or force you to comply, because you do that voluntarily. They control your mind. They control you through fear. They control you by convincing you that the world is a scary dangerous place, but they’re here to protect you, care for you, and keep you safe, just as long as you OBEY.

They know that as long as you’re locked inside your comfortable home with Netflix, Hulu, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and a cell phone while dangling a $1200 check in front of you like a carrot on a stick, you’ll comply. No force is necessary for the majority of the herd.

YOU ARE IMPRISONED, willingly, and you’re too blind to see it.

By Mark Levin

Our country has been locked down, and I think there are some lessons worth mulling over. Parents are being hauled off in handcuffs in front of their children because they took them to a park. A public park. I’ve covered some of these abuses in other columns. I’m guessing you know by now that while I do believe the virus is absolutely real, I also believe the reaction has been way overblown.

Corona worries?

Better safe than sorry? For whom? The 22 million people now out of work? The business owners that have lost or are losing a business because of what Doctors Fauci and Birx have urged? Honestly I have no idea why anyone would ever start a business now knowing it can be yanked away and your life’s work and savings down the drain at the whim of a government. Their employees that now may well face losing their homes and struggle with trying to support their families all the while the government is forcing farmers to dump milk, eggs and vegetables. I’m pretty sure the food banks could use them about now. Food like knowledge, is power. What will people do to feed their hungry children? Government is seizing power, no doubt. Some governors like the governor of South Dakota and Wyoming pretty much left their states open while others like the governor of Michigan took the power given by the federal government and then became a tin pot despot. What happened after that disturbs me even more. When people protested, she threatened them for speaking out by saying she might extend the lock down. Free speech not permitted. Along with freedom to assemble or to worship.

The following videos make several points, but the reason I’m putting them in are those listed above. This is going on all over the world. I have to tell you when I heard those German voices yelling “Ack-TUNG” and hauling people away I got nauseated. Beating people, using tear gas on them, explain to me how this keeps them safe? I mean, that’s what this is suppose to be about right? Saving lives from the Wuhan flu? Another friend of mine wrote this is response to something I had posted on facebook.

“When the State tells you it’s safe to go to Home Depot to buy a sponge but dangerous to go and buy a flower, it’s not about your health.

When the State shuts down millions of private businesses but doesn’t lay off a single government employee, it’s not about your health.

When the State bans dentists because it’s unsafe, but deems abortion visits are safe, it’s not about your health.

When the State prevents you from buying cucumber seeds because it’s dangerous, but allows in-person lottery ticket sales, it’s not about your health.

When the State tells you it’s dangerous to go golf alone, fish alone or be in a motorboat alone, but the Governor can get his stage make up done, and hair done for 5 TV appearances a week, it’s not about your health.

When the state puts you IN a jail cell for walking in a park with your child because it’s too dangerous but lets criminals OUT of jail cells for their health- It’s not about YOUR health!

When the state tells you it’s too dangerous to get treated by a doctor of chiropractic or physical therapy treatments yet deems a liquor store essential- It’s not about your health!

When the State lets you go to the grocery store or hardware store but is demanding mail-in voting, IT’S NOT ABOUT YOUR HEALTH.

WAKE UP PEOPLE — If you think this is all about your health you’re mistaken! Please open your eyes! Stop being lead like blind sheep.

I should probably mention this was originally one video, YouTube censored it and someone else put it up in three parts, so hopefully you can still see it.

And these protests to open the states back up are going on all over the country. Who decides the value of a life? I take death very seriously. When people get towards the end of life, one of the things one often does is to give an “Advance Directive” meaning they state what they consider to be an acceptable quality of life, and if something medically happens they can not do those things they do not want heroic measures done to save them. Quality of life counts. At what point do we begin to care about the 22 million that have been forced out of work due to flawed models designed by a man who has yet to get one right.

Wuhan Flu we will survive, but this government seizure of power? When has government ever handed back power once it’s been seized? Your rights are suspended. I keep hearing that line from the video. How much further will it go? Who knows. Just like the left are hypocrites about guns denying citizens the right to defend themselves and their families all the while having armed guards they are out of touch with the pain the lock down is causing. Yes, I know it’s a Trump ad, but it still sums it up really well.

And the new paradigm is set. Had a Democrat been president, I shudder because Democrats are communist now. Power and control, never enough. What will happen the next time there is a “crisis” be it in the fall or next year? I heard another great video from a politician named Paul Curtman who has written a couple of books Don’t Tread On Me and Don’t Tread On Me! The Constitution and State Soverneignty. Paul’s video was talking about the role of government. He said people have the misconception the role of government is to keep your safe. It is not, the proper role of government is to keep you free. And while you chew that over, I will give you the Partisans Song, because I honor those that resisted and fought against the tyranny.

In his most recent radio program Phantom Nation, host Sha’i ben-Tekoa talked about how some criticize and look down on the Jews in Germany who didn’t fight back. But he asked the question if you have a young man of 20, who has a wife and maybe a couple of kids what realistically could he have done when they heard that forceful knock on the door at midnight and opened it to find 5 nazis with guns at the ready?

The best answer I can give is to not let things get to that point. To recognize the signs, see people clearly, especially politicians and vote accordingly. We can still vote in this country perhaps. Some of the actions are familiar from the past, but is history going to repeat?

Yom HaShoah 2019

Today is Yom HaShoah and Ghetto Uprising Remembrance Day, the 27th of Nisan.

The first Holocaust Remembrance Day in Israel took place on December 28, 1949, following a decision of the Chief Rabbinate of Israel that an annual memorial should take place on the Tenth of Tevet, a traditional day of mourning and fasting in the Hebrew calendar. The day was marked by the burial in a Jerusalem cemetery of ashes and bones of thousands of Jews brought from the Flossenbürg concentration camp and religious ceremonies held in honor of the victims. A radio program on the Holocaust was broadcast that evening. The following year, in December 1950, the Rabbinate, organizations of former European Jewish communities and the Israel Defense Forces held memorial ceremonies around the country; they mostly involved funerals, in which objects such as desecrated Torah scrolls and the bones and ashes of the dead brought from Europe were interred.

In 1951, the Knesset began deliberations to choose a date for Holocaust Remembrance Day. On April 12, 1951, after also considering as possibilities the Tenth of Tevet, the 14th of Nisan, which is the day before Passover and the day on which the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising (April 19, 1943) had begun, and September 1, the date on which the Second World War had begun, the Knesset passed a resolution establishing the 27 Nisan in the Hebrew calendar, a week after Passover, and eight days before Israel Independence Day as the annual Holocaust and Ghetto Uprising Remembrance Day

As it is not that long past Pesach, Shimshon my puppy and I recently watched the movie The Ten Commandments starring Charlton Heston. For a few reasons I wanted to see this movie again. It really is still an amazing movie. In an age of Star Wars effects, the Ten Commandments special effects still awe me. But in the substance department, well, there is no comparison. What I do not remember ever seeing though was the opening.

And I think that is a question well worth considering in this day and age. Will we be ruled by G-d’s laws or the whims of a dictator? There are many in this divided country that very much want to see a President elected by the people deposed through any means, but all of them foul. They want power, and they planned to rule over us and his election upset their apple cart. Those forces have much help from the media, the useful idiots like #MoneyHogg and they will push their agenda of socialism and communism at all costs.

That movie I’ve “seen”.

From the Chabad web site I’ll give you an excerpt from the article The 1929 Struggle to Send Matzah Into the Soviet Union

“According to reports that have come from the entire breadth of the Soviet Union … central Russia, White Russia, Ukraine, Volhynia, the Caucasus, Bukhara, Georgia, Dagestan, the Donetsk Basin—flour for matzah cannot be found,” he wrote. “ … This year marks a new era in the lives of the Jews of Russia, a bitter era, one that has not occurred since the beginning of this deluge of suffering and troubles—G‑d should have mercy—and at this time the question of kimcha dePischa [“flour for Passover”] is a burning question.”

The Soviet grain shortage was not unintended. In a process that began slowly in 1925 and now, at the end of 1928, was picking up steam, Joseph Stalin was forcing through his national collectivization campaign and introducing his first Five-Year Plan for the economy. Farmers and peasants who had worked the land and fed Russia for generations were being forced into state-run collectives, with countless arrested, exiled or executed for resisting or to make an example for others. Productivity inevitably plummeted, bringing about food shortages, but it was not an accident.

“Coercion was the only way to attain wholesale collectivization,” writes historian Stephen Kotkin about Stalin’s position, which he took as a believing Marxist-Leninist. “The extreme violence and dislocation would appall many Communists. But Stalin and his loyalists replied that critics wanted to make an omelet without breaking eggs.”

You can hear #LipstickLenin (Alexandra Occasional-Cortez) or “Feel the Bern” millionaire Sanders saying that way all in the past, it just wasn’t perfected yet. It was in infancy.

Let’s take a look at what a reporter from MSNBC let slip. I have no idea if he still has a job or not.

MSNBC Venezuela Coverage Shows Why U.S. Founders Wanted Armed Citizenry

While covering Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro’s efforts to hold power, MSNBC reporter Kerry Sanders noted Maduro has the advantage of guns against an unarmed populace.

The MSBNC segment, published by The Washington Free Beacon, begins with anchor Andrea Mitchell expressing surprise that Maduro is still holding on.

Sanders responds, “Not only hanging on, but he appears to still control the military. You have to understand in Venezuela, gun ownership is not something that is open to everybody. So if the military have the guns, they have the power.”

Sanders adds, “So as long as Nicolás Maduro controls the military, he controls the country.

The average citizen of Venezuela lost around 19 lbs in 2017 and 24 lbs in 2018 I believe is what I heard.

Food, it’s such a great way to control a populace. Cow farts must be eliminated or the earth will self destruct in 10 or 12 years. Depending on if it’s Lipstick Lenin or Bozo O’Rear. Demonize food, demonize those that produce it, and how they do so, and then regulate them into starvation production.

Ruled by the whims of a dictator the citizens are reduced to attacking by hand and Molotov cocktails if the supplies can be procured. They are attacked and literally run over by the dictators troops and tanks.

Ari Fuld HY”D pointed out in a 2016 radio broadcast that “Never Again” doesn’t mean anything. Because “diplomacy” triumphs over “decency and morality”. How many countries signed peace treaties with hitler? How many dead Jews since Oslo was signed? More than in all the years before it. Not even the US would bomb the train tracks into Auschwitz. People place diplomacy above morality and doing the right thing. But you can hear the whole podcast. Fools who want peace but get war.

In these days of anti-semitic cartoons and condemnation of Israel by left-wingers of all strips, countries and religions I found Moshe Feiglin of Zehut’s Yom HaShoah post very very powerful and moving. Ari pointed out how many Jews tried to reach the safety of Israel in those horrible days before and during the holocaust only to be turned away by the British. They were sent back to be murdered by the nazis. Israel, their home, the home that had lived in their hearts and the desire of their souls to return there always burned through every generation. It’s part of our identity. Here is his post translated into English.

The Holocaust is threatening us with our Jewish identity.

In the wagons to Auschwitz, the complete assimilationists from the west were crowded together with the ultra-Orthodox from the east.

When the doors opened to the smoke rising from the chimney, they realized that the decorations of heroism from the First World War would no longer benefit the civilian identity they had adopted –

And these – because here prayers and mitzvot will no longer benefit, will not be religious identity.

They took their names from them and turned them into numbers, took the family, the honor, the clothes, the hair, the human image.

In the gas chambers, devoid of any other identity, there was only one, final, absolute and unifying – like death alone, Jewish identity.

Germany, where we lived in that “gun-free” (except for the special friends) utopia where we died at the dictator’s whims.

Socialism, where you can vote. Once.

Yom HaShoah-Treblinka

Treblinka, Bełżec, and Sobibór were death camps. Unlike most of the other concentration camps which used those imprisoned there as slave labor first. The sole purpose of these three was to kill those sent there. From the Jewish Virtual Library

Most people are familiar with the names of the major concentration camps – Auschwitz, Buchenwald, Dachau, and Treblinka, for example – but few realize that these were not the only places where Jews and other prisoners were held by the nazis. Each of the 23 main camps had subcamps, nearly 900 of them in total. These included camps with euphemistic names, such as “care facilities for foreign children,” where pregnant prisoners were sent for forced abortions.

The nazis established about 110 camps starting in 1933 to imprison political opponents and other undesirables. The number expanded as the Third Reich expanded and the Germans began occupying parts of Europe. When the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum first began to document all of the camps, the belief was that the list would total approximately 7,000. However, researchers found that the nazis actually established about 42,500 camps and ghettoes between 1933 and 1945. This figure includes 30,000 slave labor camps; 1,150 Jewish ghettoes, 980 concentration camps; 1,000 POW camps; 500 brothels filled with sex slaves; and thousands of other camps used for euthanizing the elderly and infirm; “Germanizing” prisoners or transporting victims to killing centers. Berlin alone had nearly 3,000 camps.

Treblinka, was set up near the Warsaw-Bialystok railway and started operating on July 23, 1942.

Operation Reinhard camps were meant to get the Jews out of Poland, and Warsaw Jews were largely sent to Treblinka, it was only 60 miles away from Warsaw, many of the survivors of the Warsaw Ghetto were sent there. While Treblinka was only 22 acres, 900,000 people died in that camp alone. There were 3 areas, living area, reception area, and killing portion. Sonderkommando lived in the living section. Not all prisoners could communicate with each other due to the way the nazis had the camp set up.

View of Treblinka

There was a fake railway station set up with a fake clock, timetable, 2nd 3rd class passenger signs, and a cashier office. Service was suspended in the real Treblinka railway station the entire time the camp was operating. As they disembarked from the train one passenger noticed something odd about the “tree lined” wall. The trees weren’t growing. They had been cut down and placed to simulate the edge of a forest, but he noticed what was behind the trees, barbed wire. It somewhat hid the camp. Deception lasted only a short while, but it only had to last a short while. Then they knew they were in a camp, but there were signs saying “attention, you are in a transit camp. For sanitation, you must take a shower”. The showers even had those nubby non-slip floors, floor tiles have been found. All money and valuables had to be handed to a cashier for a receipt and they were told they would get them back upon presenting the receipt at a later time. Anyone who wasn’t strong enough, or was troublesome was to be taken through to a “Lazaret”with a big red cross on it. Where they would promptly be shot by Willi Mentz, or his boss August Miete.

So where was the Red Cross in all this?? I’m SO glad you asked. Also incredibly pi angry. Here’s just a little bit of the “help” the international Red Cross provided.

A Factual Appraisal Of The ‘Holocaust’ By The Red Cross The Jews And The Concentration Camps

No Evidence Of Genocide

Why didn’t the Jews fight back upon arrival at Treblinka? Because there was so much secrecy surrounding the death camps. Even some of the nazis involved with pieces of the operation didn’t know the whole operation according to the Jewish Virtual Library. Initially many of the Jews didn’t know about “death camps”. Rumors had began coming into the ghettos about the camps, but many choose to disbelieve. In the beginning, some prisoners did escape from Treblinka, and promptly went back to the Warsaw ghetto to try to warn those there of the situation.

Camp B, called the “extermination area,” included the gas chambers. burial pits, fire pits for burning the corpses, and the quarters of the Jewish prisoners who were employed at various jobs in this part of the camp. A narrow path, from 2 to 4 meters wide, fenced on both sides and running for about 100 meters, led from the area where the victims had to undress to the gas chambers in the extermination area. This path was called Heaven Street (Himmelstrasse) or The Tube (Schlauch).

After they had been made to undress in the square they were forced to run through the Himmelstrasse. By forcing them to run this path with SS guards beating them and yelling at them when they got to the showers they were breathing heavily and would inhale more of the carbon dioxide quickly.

In Treblinka they used carbon dioxide, not Zyklon B as was used in some of the other camps. Carbon dioxide was easily produced by using a soviet tank engine, and if it broke down, and it did, sometimes in the middle of a murder, there was always someone around who could fix it.

Everything just happened so fast! The time from departure from the train to the gas chamber was about an hour, hour and a half tops. The yelling, beating and running kept them from thinking so much about what was happening, let alone resist. The deceptions threw them off initially, and then the terror and uncertainty.

For Jews coming from the West it was different.

A slightly different method was used for transports that arrived from Western Europe, the territory of the Third Reich, Czechoslovakia and the Balkans from the end of 1942 until the middle of 1943. These transports arrived in passenger cars. Upon arrival they found an “ordinary” railway Station with signs pointing to ticket windows, tables indicating the departure times of trains to various destinations and other normal station installations — all, of course, fake. The alighting from the train was carried out in a polite and calm manner. The camp personnel encouraged the arrivals to write postcards to their families and friends telling them that they had come to a labor camp; they were even given an address for receiving mail (those arriving in Sobibor were told to write Arbeitslager Wlodawa [Wlodawa Labor Camp]).

After the postcards were sent, everything having been done in a peaceful and polite atmosphere, the situation changed radically: a torrent of shouts, blows, dog bites and bullets rained down on the people, who were stricken by an even greater shock and paralysis than that felt by the Jews from Poland and the Soviet Union. In this way they were driven toward the gas chambers.

But in the winter of 1942/1943 things began to change. The number of transports slowed down, and news of Germany’s defeats began to filter in. Rumors that some of the Jews working there would soon be sent to the gas chambers began to circulate. The different groups of Jews began to try to form a plan for escape. The Organizing Committee was formed. It was made up of people from the different working groups of the resident Jews. They examined the escape attempts made before and realized their best chance lay in a mass revolt and taking over the camp.

How to do that? They need weapons. Treblinka was located away from towns, no sneaking weapons in as in the Warsaw ghetto. They attempted to bribe Ukrainian guards, the money was taken, but no pistol materialized. But then they caught a break, a lock had to be repaired on the building that housed the weapons. Is anyone shocked a second key was created and found it’s way to the Organizing Committee?

In early March of 1943 Himmler visited the camp. After that the burning of bodies began in an attempt to hide the murders. There were some members that were lost in different ways, some betrayal by the Ukrainian guards, some just bad circumstances, but they continued trying to prepare. Those caught and tortured did not give up any of the plans or other members.

By July the transports had all but ceased, only a few transports with Gypsies and Jews arrived. The Organizing Committee was not exactly a cohesive unit. One part of the camp felt the need to get the revolt underway, time was slipping by, the nazis had a party to celebrate the end of their mission. The other part of the camp wasn’t so sure they needed to rebel in haste. The Rebel now group sent a message revolt now, or we do it without you and a date was set for August 2nd, 1943.

It didn’t happen on that day. It happened on August 18th and 19th. There was a timetable set up for removing the weapons from the storeroom, and many would have to make do with their work tools, hammers, pickaxes, shovels and that sort of thing. The date was fortunate in that some of the Ukrainian guards and the SS had decided to go swimming in the Bug river, so that cut down on the number of men guarding the camp. But there were still informers among them. Not every Capo was an informer, some of them had been heavily involved in helping to facilitate the revolt. There were about 850 Jews in the camp the day of the revolt.

Once the revolt started, they set the buildings on fire, a camp worker having thoughtfully replaced his daily bug spray solution with petrol they went up quite nicely. The Jews had few real weapons, but when some of the guards were wounded they were able to seize their weapons. But their supply of ammunition was being used up fast. Many of them made for the fences. Many of the Organizing Committee stayed behind trying to provide covering fire for those running for the fences to escape. One took a cyanide pill after he was shot and couldn’t go on. About a 100 prisoners chose not to even try or be part of it and went back to their barracks. About half of the 850 prisoners were killed that day. According to a lecture I heard at the Yom HaShoah service I attended, about 300 made it out. The locals were threatened if they helped them, so some were afraid. Some handed them over just because, and some locals caught them, beat them and took their money and then handed them over to the Germans. For those that might have been tempted to help, the rumor was given out they had typhus. Despite that, some of the locals did help and that is why some of the around 67 of them survived. Those 67 are the reason much is known about how Treblinka ran and what went on their according to the lecture. Auschwitz and many of the others were bigger camps, and slave labor camps so more people survived to tell, Treblinka’s sole purpose was murder.

After the uprising only one other transport train came in. On October 20th most of the remaining prisoners were transferred to Sobibor and killed. The 25-30 that remained in Treblinka were killed there.

The nazis then built a farm house on the site, brought in one of their Ukrainian guards, he brought his family and he was to stay there, guard the site and if asked state that he and his family had lived there for years. There were 67 souls alive to call the lie. Had they been better armed? There might have been 750. Remember, there were 100 that chose to go back to their barracks and stay out of it.

As I watched the candles being lit, 7 of them I kept thinking, please G-d, help me to do my part so that these flames are all that will ever be needed. Help me to play the role you have for me to shine the light.

The first candle was for Holocaust survivors.

The second candle was for the second generation, their children.

The third candle was for the third generation, their grandchildren.

The fourth candle was for the youth.

The fifth candle was for the Veterans and the Armed Forces.

The sixth candle was for the community.

The seventh candle was in recognition of 70 years of Israeli statehood, and that one was set alight by a friend of mine.

I don’t ever want to live with deception. Not from myself or others, I don’t want to be blinded by normalcy bias, I don’t want to live with false hope. To do so can be fatal.

This video is 600 Holocaust survivors and their families gathered at Beit Avi-Chai in Jerusalem, marking the Holocaust Memorial Day, by performing the song “Chai” by Ofra Haza.

Yom HaShoah 2017

יום השואה

Holocaust Day. I saw a picture on Twitter, along with a comment by the poster that said

“The #Holocaust did not begin with the crematoriums of Auschwitz. That’s where it ended. Began with words & hate.”

Of course it did. The Jews had been living in “civilized” Germany for ages with their German neighbors. I’m sure things began to change, and like the frog being boiled in the pot of water the temperature gradually increased. Things were fine, until one day they weren’t. And then it was too late.

I’m sure there were signs that things were changing in the country. Like a Manchester Mayoral candidate giving his minute manifesto in Britain completely in Urdu. Jolly old Britainistan. Guess the English speaking voters in England don’t matter so much. Or perhaps the body piercing shop in the Australian North Queensland city of Cairns displayed a sign saying “No Israelis served here.”

Oh, they say “We don’t hate Jews, we just hate Israel” but it’s crap. Everyone except a deluded Liberal knows it’s crap. There is one Jewish nation in the whole wide world, there used to be something like 57 Arabic ones, but I’m not sure I shouldn’t add in France and England bringing it up to around 59. Probably could throw in Germany for an even 60. And what the liberal tripe in Queensland doesn’t understand is if he went into Gaza, he stands just as good a chance as being stabbed as I do. Ok, so since I’ve had a couple Systema classes maybe I’ve got a little, at least a little bit in my corner. But some people do not understand when a group of folks say they hate you, they mean ALL of ya’ll. There was a 21 year old exchange student stabbed to death in Jerusalem a couple of weeks ago. Hannah Bladon came from the country of Britainistan. Why she came to Israel to study is rather odd. It’s the comments under this article that are surprising. These are some of the groups she liked on Facebook

B’Tselem (the helpful group that turned over the video on Elor Azariya, the solider)
Breaking the Silence
Palestine Solidarity Campaign UK
Palestine
Institute for Middle East Understanding
Palestine Music Expo
Jewish Voice for Peace <<<an Anti-Jewish, Anti-Israel group.
Tent of Nations / Nassar Farm Agriculture Company
Also, many News Articles she had “Liked” were those in support of Muslims in the UK.

I’m reading that list and there’s something nibbling in the back of my mind. It’s like there’s a pattern to the list of groups, I just can’t put my finger on it. But my poor point is, the girl supported the kind of people that stabbed her to death. He didn’t care what her politics were. She wasn’t a muslim. And in the muslim world, once a country has been a muslim country it remains a muslim country and those living there are occupiers. So.

I wonder if back then people couldn’t see who the enemy was? Goodness knows poor Hannah didn’t. I don’t thinks she’s alone though. The Anti-Defamation league says that Anti-Semitic incidents have risen by 86%. They think it’s Trump supporters. Possibly because that’s what cnn and mslsd told them. I think they’re stuck on stupid. Truly. It’s not Trump supporters that are rioting and burning and attacking people wearing red caps. It’s certainly not Trump supporters that rioted at Berkley to prevent a gay Jewish immigrant, Milo, from giving a speech to the sold out crowd waiting to hear him. The ADL hasn’t figured out their enemies are the left now. The BDS movement, the social justice for Falestine crap. That is ALL leftist. And do you know who funds leftists and those causes? Of course you do, George Soros. It seems the 1998 interview with the “news” program 60 minutes has surfaced. It’s a short article, but it has the video.

If you don’t know who your enemy is, if you don’t know who hates you, you will not be looking in the right direction or paying attention to the threat, because you refuse to acknowledge they do not have your very best interests at heart.

My colleague Y.B. has written about Canary Mission before. If you don’t think Anti-Semitism is alive, well, and socially acceptable on the left you don’t follow Canary Mission on Twitter. Let’s just look at one of their listees, shall we? Mohammad Jabr, Mohammerhead owns Boost Mobile in Liberty, Missouri. So what cell phone wisdom does Mohammerhead freely share? Oh, little nuggets like, oh forget it. I’m not writing what he said. I put the link in, he’s vile. It’s not like he secretly said it to buddies, he posted in freely on social media. And I’m almost equally sure pointing out what he said is vile and despicable will be called islamaphobia. A word that didn’t even exist all that long ago.

Israel is 8 hours ahead of us, so the two minute siren has already been sounded. In Israel when the siren is sounded for Yom HaShoah everything stops. On the highway people stop their cars and get out, they are paying their respects for the six million Jewish souls that lost their lives in the holocaust. This is from a live stream in Israel. https://www.facebook.com/theisraelproject/videos/10156094580767316/

Is Anti-Semitism still alive and well? Oh yes, it just wears a mask sometimes now called Anti-Zionism, or Anti-Israel. It’s a word game. It’s the same thing, just being politically correct, like islamaphobia. I’ve been accused of being a Zionist, shocking I know. My answer was easy “Damn skippy”.

Yom HaShoah, some Jews will be as easily deceived today as they were not all that long ago. Some, not so much. Now there is an Israel where they can flee Britainistan and Franceistan. For never again, to mean NEVER AGAIN you need to open your eyes and see where the threats are. Because everything will be fine, till it’s not.

Some Jews are not so easy to mess with.

I will leave you with V’afilu B’hastara. It means Even in a concealment. While it’s sung in Hebrew, the words are in English on the screen and it is very beautiful. I listen to this song a lot.

Yom HaShoah or יום השואה

Tomorrow is Yom HaShoah. It is the Holocaust Remembrance day. In my area the memorial service will be Sunday. I intend to go. I can do nothing but go. It is my personal feeling, just mine, this is only my opinion, that for me to forget what happened, to allow the memory to become comfortably cushioned in the soft cotton of foggy faded distant memory is folly and disrespectful.

Folly because those who ignore the past are doomed to repeat it. I’ve learned some pretty painful long term physical lessons working with my horses. Weather changes bring about certain reminders, very clearly. Care to place a wager on me forgetting how I got them and what needs to be done to prevent a repeat performance? I don’t forget.

Disrespectful because the nazis* goal was to erase Judaism from the earth, to blot out all the names of the victims, to resign them to the faded pages of distant memory. As long as I have breath and am able, I will not be part of that. I will be there, I will pay my respects and I will try to keep their memory and their fate plain. The horrible cost of trusting and disarmed people.

No, I do not mean all of them, but too many. hitler* was elected after all. Not all those that died were Jews either. Estimates are six million Jews died, and five million others made up of groups of gypsies, Poles, Political dissenters, mentally and physically disabled, homosexuals and communists. I’m guessing some of those that died and their family members voted for hitler. Someone pointed out to me last year basically, the Holocaust wiped out the population of Israel. Israel’s Jewish population in 2014 was 6,218,000. The total population was 8,296,000.

Last year I was in Israel during Yom HaShoah. I went with my girlfriend that I stayed with to Ben Gurion University for the memorial service. Since she worked at BGU (אבג) getting in was not a problem. The courtyard where the ceremony was held was packed and people were standing in the windows of surrounding buildings to see the ceremony. We got there early and so sat in the chairs in the courtyard. One thing we noticed, of all the Arab and muslim students that attend there, none that we could see attended the services. It was a profoundly moving services. I didn’t understand a lot of it, it was all in Hebrew of course, and I would only catch words from time to time. But somethings go beyond words. They are universal. One was a dance that was performed.

The dancers were dressed in either white or black, and it was very very clear what the dance was about as the dancers dressed in black appeared to flog, beat and kill the dancers dressed in white. At one point during the dance one of the dancers dressed in white quietly slipped off the stage and disappeared behind a column. When she came back out in a bit it appeared she was being comforted by a staff member. She was unable to finish the dance. The dance finished with the dancers gathered around a pile of their shoes they had all taken off and placed in a corner as they came onto the elevated dance stage. Yeah, like that.

It was very emotional. I can speculate on what those around me felt. I know what I felt, and I suspect it might be different than the majority of those around me.

Following that was the portion where Holocaust survivors or family members came up and read something. I apologize, but my Hebrew just wasn’t/isn’t good enough to recount the stories. But at the end each of the six people went over and lit a candle. Each candle represented a million people. As they read their speeches you could hear something in the background. At first I thought it was suppose to be the sound of muted rifle fire. But then with each person it seemed to be a bit louder and more clear. Not rifle fire. Trains. The sound of trains on the tracks. Damn.

The Train, display at Yad Vashem

I was already angry from my visit to Yad Vashem just a few days before when I had been livid about the miniscule display of “Resistance during the Holocaust”. It was a miniscule display for more than one reason, but what was going through my mind was that the elected nazi government used all branches of government to target a group of people. And then they used already on the books common sense gun laws like universal background checks to more easily eliminate them.

An article recently appeared that brought to light that among those who tried to help rescue the Jews, were other Jews. They feel that the concept of Jews saving themselves has been muted or lost. The article stated

Part of the mission of the Jewish Rescuers Citation is to re-instill the idea that Jews are not only capable, but prone to be hardened heroes.

The article raises some very interesting ideas. Even if you don’t read the linked article, you might want to check Yad Vashem for a short list and photos of nine people who served in the Resistance, many of them at the greatest cost to save lives. Their names and their lives deserve to be remembered. Their price was large, perhaps you can spare a couple minutes to meet them?

For people to live in freedom, freedom from slavery, from poverty, from annihilation, the first thing we need to do is to quit committing suicide.

By that I mean there is ONE JEWISH state, in all of the world, there is ONE. Look at your elected officials attitudes towards that one state and you will have an idea of their attitudes towards your group.

Look at remarks made towards your group, are they accurate and fair? I’m thinking of the last two years worth of comments at the annual prayer breakfast here.

Are branches of the government targeting certain groups of political dissenters?

Do you put money into the pockets of people that urge you to become disarmed and vulnerable to any of the above? Harry Weinstein, Babs Streisand, Tim McGraw or any of the many other anti-gun entertainers that will then use their bully pulpit to disarm you?

Please G-d, may we need no more of them. The cost is far too dear.
