Freedom and the Role of the Militia Part III

You can’t fist fight tyranny

The American people, Lee wrote Samuel Adams, had not fought the British only to be ‘brought under despotic rule under the notion of strong government, or in the form of elective despotism; Chains still being chains, whether made of gold or iron’. The “Corrupting nature of power’ made it essential for public safety that ‘power not requisite should not be given’ to government and ‘that necessary powers should be carefully guarded”.1

Richard Henry Lee

America is a system of taxation to which a government is attached.”2

Part 1 covered an article by conservative journalist Daniel McCarthy wherein he rebutted liberal solutions to Public Mass Shootings (PMS). He hit the right chords at first but then notes turned sour. McCarthy tied private ownership of firearms to membership in a militia under strict State control. He contends the Virginia Declaration of Rights (1776) “inspired” the Second Amendment. He adds a reason to keep arms is to maintain a well-regulated militia “under strict subordination to, and governed by the civil power” dismissing as “right-wing folklore” claims the Amendment’s authors in any way intended it to support citizen uprisings against a tyrannical government i.e. Shay’s Rebellion.3 Stephen King writes in Danse Macabre that Bram Stoker’s Dracula inspired his novel Salem’s Lot, an homage to Stoker. However, King’s novel is wholly his own and the narrative quite different.4 McCarthy’s problems are more serious than errant extrapolation.

Article III of the Virginia Declaration of Rights written by George Mason reads, “That a well regulated militia, composed of the Body of the People, trained to Arms, is the proper, natural, and safe Defence of a free State; that standing Armies, in Time of Peace, should be avoided as dangerous to liberty” [emphasis and spelling in the original].5 Regardless of inspiration, Virginia’s Declaration of Rights is not the Second Amendment. In addition, local autonomous militias pre-existed declarations and constitutions.

Colonial survival, especially in outlying villages and settlements, required individuals possess and be skilled with arms long before the Revolution. For the most part, Americans did not acquire skill at arms serving in militias or in standing armies.5 No army or police force existed to protect colonists from criminals or against attacks by the French and their Indian allies. When British Royal Governors began seizing the firearms and ammunition of colonials, Virginians George Washington, and George Mason formed the Fairfax County Militia Association. It was a ground up not top down unit. Enlistment was voluntary. Each member had to supply his own weapons and ammunition and they chose officers through election.6

Mason shed light in 1775 on the meaning of militia noting a “well regulated militia” was comprised of “Gentleman, Freeholders, and other Freeman”. Its purpose was to “protect ‘our ancient Laws & Liberty’ from a standing army” [emphasis and spelling in the original].7 For Mason and many of his contemporaries, a standing army, whether British or American, national or state, was a threat to liberty. Mason wrote, “All men are by nature born equally free and independent”. The greatest threat to liberty was government in all its forms. He defined a “well-regulated” militia as the whole of the people, possessed of arms, who formed and organized themselves into “independent companies” prepared to “resist the standing army of a despotic state”.8 Founding Father Richard Henry Lee observed a militia could only consist of the people as a whole. If it was organized and maintained in continual service, it would constitute a “select militia” no different from a standing army in peacetime a practice that the Founders, for the most part, abhorred.9

Americans and political leaders universally viewed the individual right to keep and bear arms, and the right of States to call up a militia, as two separate issues neither dependent on the other. Beyond the Founder’s hope that Americans would maintain their precision with arms, the right to keep and bear arms had/has nothing to do with membership in a militia. If states called on the people to form a militia, prior experience with arms would lessen the time to train them.10 Had the Founders known future Americans would manufacture confusion concerning the Second Amendment’s meaning, they might have bifurcated it into two separate amendments. Why didn’t they? At the time State delegates ratified and then amended the Constitution, there was no confusion with respect to the right to keep and bear arms. It was an individual G-d given right. Some delegates opposed adding a Bill of Rights to the Constitution as superfluous. States delegated specific authorities to the federal government enumerating them in Article I, Section 8. Government cannot regulate activities or rights over which it has no authority. The States delegated to the federal government no authority to regulate the right to keep and bear arms. For it to do so is unconstitutional. Various state delegates argued to declare that people have an individual right to keep and bear arms was akin to declaring people breath air.11

Part 2 explained the so-called “Shay’s Rebellion” in Western Massachusetts was used by proponents of a strong national government, who wanted to jettison the Articles of Confederation, as a boogeyman to whip up fear among Americans that the nation was falling apart. Like public schools today, merchants of mendacious propaganda told Americans then that landless rabble, thieves, bandits, and poor hardscrabble farmers deeply in debt had formed a violent mob and marched on Boston to overthrow the state government. If successful, the rebels would have freed men in debtor’s prisons, erased public and private debts, and seized the land of the rich to divide among themselves. This story is problematic to say the least.

Shay’s was actually several rebellions led for the most part by leading men in their communities. They were patriots, Revolutionary War veterans, political and religious leaders, landowners, and men of means.12 They called themselves “Regulators” organized into militias to halt depredations committed against them by the corrupt government in Boston controlled by a coastal banking and commercial aristocracy.13 Only three years prior (1783), Americans had concluded a war against Great Britain based on similar offenses. It is incongruous that leading Founding Fathers then and textbook authors today, fail to see the parallels and similarities.

Daniel McCarthy is a credentialed well-established journalist writing for conservative and Libertarian publications. It is unfortunate he dismisses as “right-wing folklore” the notion the Founders intended the Second Amendment support a Shay’s-like rebellion. They certainly did. If the federal and or State governments commit crimes against the people’s rights, they have but two choices, submit or resist. The Left employs the labels “right-wing” and “far-right” equally to the former Nazi Party, Ku Klux Klan, and their modern iterations. They also apply it to patriots from Ronald Reagan to Rush Limbaugh and other conservatives, the antithesis of such groups. Although their motive should be obvious, regrettably such a malicious and deceitful practice works in post-literate America. How disappointing a learned man like McCarthy would follow suit. Was Shays’ Rebellion emblematic of anarchy, lawlessness, and chaos verging on destroying America or, were their actions an embodiment of the spirit that sparked and guided the Revolution of 1776? Is it possible to find support for the rebellion in the Founder’s writings?

The Federalist Papers are not part of the Constitution nor do they necessarily reflect majority opinion among America’s Founders. They are a collection of polemics in support of ratification of the proposed Constitution (1787). Its author’s opinions represent a spectrum spanning desires for a strong national government with states as appendages, Hamilton and to a lesser extent, Madison, to true Federalists like John Jay.14 Nevertheless, with respect to resisting government tyranny, they represent commonly held views among Americans.

Hamilton and his allies adopted the name Federalists but they were actually nationalists. They sought to extinguish state autonomy and sovereignty in favor of a central unitary government much like that in England. Hamilton believed the English system was the best of all. Others, like James Wilson of Pennsylvania, were Federalists but recognized Hamilton’s plan to destroy state sovereignty would also destroy the Constitution hence supported creation of a federal system of government. The central government would have authority over international relations, trade, war, and functions only a central government could execute. States would retain all other functions and authorities, sovereign in their own sphere. Both nationalists and true Federalists supported the right of the people to overthrow their own government should it become oppressive, tyrannical, and destructive to their liberties.

In Federalist 28, Hamilton writes there exist circumstances in which the “national” (sic) government may “resort to force”. They would include “seditions and insurrections” that are “maladies as inseparable from the body politic as tumors and eruptions from the natural body…” He also refers to uprisings in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.15 However, Hamilton addresses circumstances in which the people have a legitimate right to rise up against their rulers. He observes, “If the representatives of the people betray their constituents, there is then no resource left but in the exertion of that original right of self-defense which is paramount to all positive forms of government…” Hamilton adds that self-defense (armed resistance) against a “national” (sic) government offered greater “prospects” for success than against an “individual state”.16 Whether resistance to a federal or state government would likely be more successful, Hamilton affirms the right of the people to rise up against a tyrannical government. Only an armed people could execute such an undertaking.

Hamilton condemns those who betray the people’s liberties as “usurpers”. Although people might organize for armed resistance, “usurpers, clothed with the forms of legal authority, can too often crush the opposition in embryo”. Hamilton argues states should be in charge of organizing and executing the resistance not local militias raised by the people. This is because the states would have more arms and larger forces to resist a federal army.17 However, suppose States, not the federal government, commit usurpation against the people’s liberties. Did Hamilton forget that the people of their respective states raised their own local militias to oppose the State Militias controlled by Royal Governors? He explains the methods by which states can organize in cooperation with each other to resist “invasions of the public liberty” by the central government. Even if a federal army quelled resistance in one state, others states would respond “with fresh forces”.18 Strategies and methods aside, Hamilton establishes that States have the right to raise an army to resist usurpation of their powers by the federal government. The people possess the same right against their respective states. Is Shays’ Rebellion a great departure from this principle? Hamilton, nor anyone else, argues people have a right to arm and rise up against government over pet peeves or perceived injustices. The standard justifying resistance is gross violations of the Bill of Rights and suppression of the people’s liberties by government with no possibility of redress.

Critics of the proposed Constitution warned the federal government might turn its power to call up, organize, and equip state militias against the states turning militias into a federal army. Hamilton addressed this possibility in Federalist 28.19 He conceded in times of extreme emergency (invasion by a foreign power, insurrection) the federal government would need to call up and train state militias because such training allows them to act in concert. However, it would not be the same as raising, organizing, equipping, and disciplining a federal standing army. To do so would be futile requiring too much time in the face of an immediate threat. It was not feasible to take the “yeomanry” far from their towns and farms long enough to transform them into professional soldiers. If the federal government called up State militias, the latter would be responsible for arming, equipping, and choosing their officers. The federal government would train and subject them to military discipline. The point is militias come from the people. If harnessed for a national purpose in times of extreme emergency, their loyalty remains to their respective states. Once the crisis had passed, the federal government returns militias to their states. This would create a trained body of armed people large enough to oppose a standing federal army should one attempt to suppress the states. Hamilton wrote that militias were the “best possible security” against a standing army. For any of this to be remotely feasible, the people would have to retain their own arms.20

In Federalist 46, James Madison noted, “Ultimate authority wherever the derivative may be found, resides in the people alone” and not in the federal or state governments.21 If the federal government attempted to expand its “power beyond due limits” at the expense of states, the “latter would still have the advantage in the means of defeating such encroachments”. The States would resist the federal government by force. Even if the latter had the resources to raise powerful standing armies, states would always possess a greater resource in the number of citizens within their boundaries. State militias would outnumber a federal army.22 He added that Americans possessed a great advantage over all others in the world; whether the threat came from federal or state governments, the people are armed. In America, all government is “subordinate to the people” and the people are ultimately the masters of the militia because they are the militia.23

The Founders are clear. People have an individual right to keep and bear arms independent of membership in any form of militia or military unit. States have a right to resist, by force, federal usurpation of State rights and Constitutional liberties. The people retain the same rights with respect to both. Why do some attempt to tie firearms ownership to service in a quasi-professional militia or “national” (sic), State guard? Perhaps they do not trust the common man to be the master of his affairs including responsibility for his safety. People buying, building, and selling arms sans government oversight frightens them. What you smell is the aroma of elitism that permeates all aristocracies, economic, political, or professional. They have never trusted the Great Unwashed with freedom. To the elite, for anyone to claim people have the right to keep and bear arms, as a defense against the federal and state governments is unthinkable. Nevertheless, that is how this nation was born.

American Intifada

In my last column I discussed how Communist Russia planned to take over America, via information revealed by Yuri Bezmenov, KGB defector. But this Marxism has many tentacles, so much evil has come together that the pot has more than boiled over.

I listened to a podcast recently from Avi Abelow, Avi was a compatriot of Ari Fuld’s HY”D. In this episode he had Barry Shaw, Senior Associate for Public Diplomacy at the Israeli Institute for Strategic Studies as his guest. Barry was discussing the threat BLM poses to the America of the past. It’s a show well worth listening to.

I personally don’t know anyone that supports racism, thinks it’s a good idea or wants more of it. But since the election of Barry Sotero which was supposed to show that racism in America was being healed it’s gotten worse. Barry took the chance to foment racial division, the war on Police and the take over of large parts of the economy ie the cellphone industry and healthcare to name a couple. I support an end to racism, going all directions.

Of course, some forms are acceptable. From January 2020

I do think some are unaware of what Black Lives Matter really stands for, and what their goals are. Yes, black lives matter, ALL lives matter. Apparently that is now a rraaaccciiisst statement. But one of the things Barry Shaw brought out was the founding and founders of BLM.

In this column there is embedded a video of one of the founders, Patrisse Cullors, stating they are trained Marxists. There is more about who trained the founders, and who the are working with. Helpful hint, if your Dad and your brother repeatedly wind up in jail, perhaps the problem isn’t the police? And a bit more from another source, Black Lives Matter co-founder describes herself as ‘trained Marxist’

“We actually do have an ideological frame,” Cullors said. “Myself and Alicia are particularly trained organizers — we are trained Marxists. We are super versed on ideological theories…”

Apparently ideological theories also include “Give us what we want or we burn it down”. No matter who it hurts, black owned business or black employees.

You know, if statures of Lincoln and George Washington, Ulysses Grant and an abolitionist are being torn down, it’s a pretty good clue this has nothing to do with slavery. Remember just a few short years ago when people opined that the attacks on statues would soon extend past those of the Confederacy and the Confederate flag to others and they were told to take off their tin foil hats? Maybe they should get an apology, huh? It was never about that, it was about boiling frogs.

But Black Lives Matter web site still repeats the tired old lies, I guess they think everyone watches #FakeNews so they don’t know any better. From their about us page, I’m not linking to it.

BlackLivesMatter was founded in 2013 in response to the acquittal of Trayvon Martin’s murderer

Trayvon was beating a guy’s head against a sidewalk, most folks don’t take kindly to that.

From their what we believe page

We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.

Huh? What exactly does destroying the family unit do to promote “social justice” or help improve the lives of blacks?

Walter Williams thinks the break down is part of the problem, and it has nothing to do with that kind of slavery. The Black Family Is Struggling, and It’s Not Because of Slavery

LBJ’s “War on Poverty” Hurt Black Americans LBJ-Demoncrat by the way.

More from their what we believe page

Enraged by the death of Trayvon Martin and the subsequent acquittal of his killer, George Zimmerman, and inspired by the 31-day takeover of the Florida State Capitol by POWER U and the Dream Defenders, we took to the streets. A year later, we set out together on the Black Lives Matter Freedom Ride to Ferguson, in search of justice for Mike Brown and all of those who have been torn apart by state-sanctioned violence and anti-Black racism.

So, either their beliefs are delusions, or they just lie and don’t think folks will question them, because to do so is rrraaaccciiisttt. As previously stated, most folks don’t take kindly to having their heads bashed against sidewalks, and Mike Brown was trying to take an officer’s sidearm away from him. Hands up don’t shoot never happened. Wilson was cleared by Sotero’s justice department, and if they could have got him, they would have.

Then there is the lie about systemic racism, and the targeting of blacks. Um, no. And here is another source

The number and race of people killed by the police

Then there is blaming only white people for slavery. Well, actually no. Prior to Anthony Johnson’s lawsuit in the British court system in 1655 (Before the War for Independence) didn’t matter if you came from Ireland or Africa, you served seven years and were set free with a little grub stake of some sort. But that changed with Anthony Johnson’s lawsuit. Anthony Johnson was a black former slave who had earned his freedom in just that way. He also had 4 white indentured servants, but there is no record after the first lawsuit if he also kept them as slaves. So, the first legal slave owner in America, was a black man. Nor was he the only one.

Krisanne Hall JD, has an excellent YouTube channel and this is part of this episodes lecture. “Black men and women were free before America was even free from Great Britain”.

The Democrat party is dead. This, this is the day it died.

Stick a fork in ’em

This is so crazy! In their efforts to pander they are wearing the Kinte cloth associated with the Ashanti. They were located in what is now Ghana and became rich off of…….selling slaves.

The Democrat party lost to the leftists, who lost to the progressives who have now lost to the communist/marxist influence. It’s dead, stick a fork in it, the modern Democrat party is the party of Lenin, Marx and Stalin.

So, if all this really isn’t about “systemic racism” what is it about?

Niger Innis: Black Lives Matter agenda doesn’t have a ‘damn thing to do’ with saving black lives

It’s about fundamentally changing America. While Sotero was in office, it became forbidden to say anything about Islam or Muslims. You were labeled Islamaphobic. This charge completely ignored the fact that people were upset and enraged at the actions of those committing terrorist acts. So many of them were muslims, and the cry of Allie’s Snack Bar became well known. Which, just by the by, does not mean “G-d is great” as the media dutifully repeated. It means “Allah is greater”, meaning greater than the whimpy G-d of the Jews and Christians.

Now it is forbidden to say anything about the rioting, looting, violence and destruction because that’s rrraaaccciiiiissst. Well, I have news, a bunch of those doing the rioting, looting, violence and destruction are white leftists. And I’m pretty sure the shop owners and people attacked and burned out of their homes don’t care about the color of the person lighting the match.

Something else people may not realize is BLM’s alliance with Hamas. Sort of explains their trip to Gaza a few years ago doesn’t it? I was surprised at the time, not realizing the depth of BLM’s knowledge of middle eastern affairs. But it wasn’t about that. I’m not sure how old this article is, but it’s well worth reading. Hamas and Black Lives Matter: A marriage made in hell

Bazian once publicly called for an “intifada” in America. In the Media he claimed he was speaking rhetorically, but what is happening now is in fact his “intifada” coming to fruition. The race riots in Ferguson, in Baltimore and Milwaukee and the shooting of police officers in Dallas and elsewhere in the country are finally importing the violence Israel faces every day. And it will probably only get worse because these events are not designed to promote discourse but rather to bring down the current society. In Israel, it is to end a Jewish state in the Arab-Muslim umma. In America, it is to gain control of our government to facilitate the attacks on Israel and eventually subvert the rule of law in the U.S.

Terrorism is a business for Hamas, and business is booming. An alliance with Black Lives Matter is creating an even bigger business.

Then you can add in Antifa as another partner in BLM’s partnership package. Does Antifa offer the perfect cover for Jihad?

According to Diana West, “here is more on Antifa/jihad connections from Edward Klein’s book, All Out War: The Plot to Destroy Trump. Note that in Portland they were chanting, “Allah-u Akbar, smash these Nazi scums.”….

On numerous occasions, Antifa has openly threatened to massacre American patriots and even President Trump. This group is one of Obama’s legacies, created to inflict more pain on the American people. “Eight years of Obama’s leadership has left America demonstrably weaker and more divided. Rather than the promised “healing”—racial and other—the Obama era frayed the ties that bind us.”

BLACK LIVES MATTER and its Muslim partners in crime from CAIR/Hamas

Yes, yes I’d say it does provide a cover for jihad.

It started with George Zimmerman, self-defense became a crime to be tried in the court of public opinion, and considering the number of people who listen to #FakeNews and believe it, that’s a big pool.

Then came the jihadi attacks and charges of Islamaphobia. Now the attacks on the police, businesses and people bring charges of racism when people (of any color) complain.

Remember when we were told we were paranoid if we wanted to be able to defend ourselves? That there was no need as we could just “call the police”? Well, those calls may now be answered by unarmed social workers, or the police will not come if your car is being attacked by “peaceful protesters” and you have your terrified child with you.

‘We can’t do anything, ma’am,’ the dispatcher replied. ‘The city told us that this is a sanctioned event.’

Or if BLM “peacefully enters” your community.

Peacefully entered doesn’t usually result in broken wrought iron gates.

A St. Louis couple was able to hold off a horde of 300 BLM because the couple armed themselves. The mob was on it’s way to demand Mayor Linda Krewson resign. Because who cares about elections. It seems the “peaceful protesters” were upset when they were told they were on private property. You can tell they were miffed because that announcement brought threats:

McClosky said one of the militants pulled out a loaded pistol magazine and clicked them together and said ‘you’re next.’

“We were threatened with our lives, threatened with a house being burned down, my office building being burned down, even our dog’s life being threatened. It was, it was about as bad as it can get,” McCloskey said.

McCloskey believes that the only thing that stopped the crowd from approaching his home was his rifle.

Emphasis mine. The couple has now been doxxed. Irony of ironies, he’s an attorney who has represented alleged victims of police brutality. The mob didn’t care. Because it’s not about police brutality either.

They were correct in their fear, that mob, or another like it had already beaten people who had showen up for a prayer vigil at a stature that BLM had in their sights to be torn down. That was just in a different part of the same town, St Louis.

They couple that protected their dog, their home and their lives by arming up against the “peaceful” BLM mob may now face charges. Did you catch earlier where I said this happened in St. Louis? Well, the prosecutor in that town is the corrupt Kim Gardner who apparently hasn’t been brought up on charges yet, but she still may be over her handling of the case against the former Governor. The case with former Gov Eric Greitens was covered here.

So for those elected officials that are all in favor of de-funding the police, watching elitism is an interesting thing isn’t it? To be part of the elitist privileged. You know who avails themselves of it? The communist/marxists.

THAT’S RICH LA official demands $150m cut from police budget – after having cops guard her home ‘at cost of $100,000 to taxpayers’

Minneapolis has paid $63,000 to private security firms for 3 council members

“This security service is intended to be temporary and bridge to other security measures implemented by council members themselves,” city spokeswoman Sarah McKenzie said Monday.

McKenzie said the city has spent $63,000 over the past three weeks for security service for three council members. She said contracts for less than $175,000 typically do not need public approval from council, and they do not expect these expenses to surpass that threshold.

Report: Minneapolis council members who voted to abolish police get taxpayer-funded private security

And in Philadelphia

Cops Provided 24/7 Private Security For City Council Members

For the past 11 days, each of 16 city council members — with the lone exception of Councilman Alan Domb — have had three city detectives working 8 hour shifts every 24 hours to provide them with private security. Since May 30th, some 48 plainclothes detectives were paid to sit in unmarked police cars outside the homes of City Council members. That’s instead of going out to investigate crimes, or obtain search warrants and arrest warrants. The estimated cost of the City Council security detail: about $178,000 without including the costs of overtime….

“They think Donald Trump is going to reimburse the city because they declared an emergency,” one cop cracked. “What a f*cking joke.”

Especially when you consider that every chance he gets, Mayor Jim “Sanctuary City” Kenney does nothing but trash Trump.

Except it won’t be President Trump, it will be us, U.S. the people who have been hit hard with unemployment, loss of business first due to the Wuhan Flu and then due to the riots. I object to ANY federal money being spent to bail out these lame brains. They caused the problem with their policies and decisions, they can find their own solutions. It’s not our job to fix their mess. Elections have consequences.

So what will the police be replaced with? I mentioned this briefly in Russian Collusion, but since Minneapolis is Illan Omar country, one option may be “community policing”. After all, it’s already in place in NYC. Unlike the Jewish and Asian groups that worked with the police on setting up their community patrol, the muslim group who had cars marked just like the NYPD and uniforms made to look like the NYPD did not work with the NYPD.

NY police say ‘Muslim Community Patrol’ car not sanctioned by them

Of course, some residents may not appreciate the Muslim Community Patrol enforcing sharia law in their neighborhood.

NY Muslim Patrol Bullies Get Bullied Back by the Bloods seems the son of a blood member spoke to a woman coming out of the mollusk.

If not Jihad being facilitated by lack of actual police, perhaps the UN will send in “Peacekeepers”, eh?

U.N. To World: You Have No Human Right to Self-Defense

When the actual police are scared to do their job, or their hands are tied by elected officials how do people think this is going to turn out? Look at a few of the linked columns above and you will know. When the poor officer who is being sacrificed to the whims of the mob in Atlanta is tried, what will be the result? Because no matter the outcome, there will be riots, burning and looting. In other words, more “peaceful protests”. At some point officers are going to lay down their badge and say enough, I’m going to take care of my family and that’s it.

What is it the mob wants? For us to be so cowed we can no longer express opinions, we can no longer have debates, it will be their way……or else. We are living in an American Intifada.

The lives the statues represent, they matter too.

Russian Collusion

No, not that Russian Collusion. But there certainly has been some Russian collusion going on for a while, a good long while. As horse trainer Pat Parelli says “Prior proper preparation prevent pee poor performance.” And the KGB (because this goes back to then) has done a good job of it.

Back in another lifetime, back before the government forgot about the 1st Amendment, specifically the part that says:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

I used to go to Beit Knesset on Shabbat. It was wonderful, I learned things, prayed with the others and there was reading from the Torah and then Rabbi would give a talk. Afterwards we usually had Kiddush (meaning the light meal after morning prayers). We would visit and eat, and I would learn, I loved that. One of the people that was very interesting to visit with was a gentleman from Russia. He is a good person, you can tell this because he is a good parent to his fur children, and, he is a rock solid second amendment supporter, he is also a strong conservative. Come to think of it, one of my favorite ladies from Hebrew school is from the Ukraine, and she is a solid conservative, and another lady I know from Russia is a solid conservative, and my cousin’s brother-in-law is from Russia and he is a strong Second Amendment supporter and a conservative. Wait, I think I’m starting to see a pattern here!! All these people that have lived under actual Communism want nothing to do with it, and don’t seem to believe the pablum the left spews out! Huh, funny that eh?

So sometime last year, when life was what life used to be like, we were sitting around eating and he was telling me about this video, from Yuri Bezmenov, a former KGB propaganda agent that had defected to the US. The interview was from the 1984. Quite awhile ago, but what he said has come to pass. My buddy sent me the link to a video, I watched it. After I picked my jaw up, I knew there was a column there, and now is the time for that column. I will tell you the link to the video he originally sent me is gone. YouTube has taken it down, it violated the community standards. I think that means it told the truth. Because they are now shutting down anyone who says anything they don’t like, with an iron fist so to speak. CNN and Now NBC Are Colluding with Tech Giants to Cut Out Conservative Competition This is a shorter snippet from the original video interview on the “useful idiots” his term, not mine. But I agree with him.

If you want to watch the whole video my friend sent, I think this is the same one.

But, in the event those are gone by the time you see this column, I’ll hit the points that Yuri makes.

There were two type of people, those that would play ball with the communists and those that wouldn’t. Those that would were promoted into positions of power and influence. Those that wouldn’t were character assassinated and sometimes just assassinated.

The communists had a large army of contact tracers, data collectors spies. And they had information on everyone, who they hung out with, where they could be found, if they were favorable to the USA, their political beliefs. It’s how the communists were able to wipe out certain people in villages in Viet Nam within hours of coming into the village. Their spies had done their homework for them. But come revolution time, those are the people that will be executed. Why? Because they know too much. And when the useful idiots see that communism doesn’t play out as advertised, they become bitter enemies of it. If they live.

His KGB instructors told him to never bother with leftists. To avoid those political prostitutes, to aim higher: mainstream media, filthy rich movie producers, academic circles, people who can look you in the eye and lie. People who have no moral principles. He then makes the point that our leftists, the professors, civil rights people that believe in the lies of socialism and communism are instrumental in the process of subversion, only to destabilize the nation. They are then offended when they don’t come to power. Thus, useful idiots.

There are no grassroots revolutions, every revolution is the result of a highly organized professionals.

Ideological subversion. You can see it with your own eyes, nothing to do with espionage. The main emphasis on the KGB is slow process of ideological subversion or active measures, psychological warfare. It involves changing the perception of reality. No one is able, despite an abundance of information to come to a sensible conclusion about defending themselves, their families and their community and their country.

Stage 1: Demoralization, educate one generation of students in the country that you want to influence. So for the US, it’s educate one generation of students in Marxist ideology. And I don’t mean Groucho. He says it’s been pumped into the soft heads of American students for 3 generations without any counter-balancing education in American values and patriotism. Dropouts and half baked intellectuals from the 60s are now politicians and teachers influencing others, you can not change their minds despite plenty of information. You can not get rid of them and it will take 20-50 years to educate a group of pro-American students, common sense people. And when those people see what Marxist ideology looks like in real life, they won’t be allowed to speak out. Because with communism, no dissent is allowed. Sort of like the current cancel culture and the increasing attempts to shut down conservative voices on YouTube, the internet and TV. No opposing voices allowed. They will be squashed. The demoralization process in the US is completed (and this was in 1984). They don’t believe facts they are shown.

Stage 2: Destabilization, the subverter doesn’t care about your ideas anymore. It only takes 2-5 years to destabilize a nation. What matters is economy, foreign relations and defense systems.

Stage 3: Crisis, it can take only six weeks to bring a country to crisis.

Stage 4: Normalization, this is after a violent change in power structure and economy. This is a cynical Soviet expression, like when the tanks rolled into Czechoslovakia. The commander said now the situation in brotherly Czechoslovakia is normalized. This is what will happen in the US if we allow the schmucks to bring the US and us, to crisis. To promise people all kind of goodies and the paradise on earth. It will destabilize our economy, and eliminate our free market and put a big glob of government in Washington D.C. with benevolent dictators; he gave the example of Walter Mondale. Told you it was old. He says the United States is in a war, a war against the foundations of this Leninist/Marxist system. The world communist system. There will be nowhere for Americans to defect as he did. This is the last country of freedom. Like some people’s idea of what is acceptable in the new Covid world’s “new normal” in communism “normalization” stinks.

His solution? To make a real national effort to educate people in the real spirit of patriotism. To explain the real danger of the socialist/communist welfare state. If we fail to do that, nothing can help the United States. We have to stop aiding communism.

Again, that was from 1984. How is this playing out now, today? We see what he was talking about. And it’s been going on a long time, since the early 1900s. Former Representative Curtis Bowers did a documentary called Agenda: Grinding America Down that gives you the tentacles of it.

I ran across a couple of interesting posts from ex-pats living in different parts of the world. I’ll just give the last bit of the first one.

Because the truth is so utterly dispiriting. Most of us who have actually worked there, who have seen the world, seen Man in all his squabbling, raping, squandering, polluting, destructive, ROUTINE-GENOCIDAL abomination, quietly despair. We have a heart. We are sad for those people. For the G*d AWFUL conditions they live in. We have seen things. Burned and tortured bodies. Hideously staring faces, frozen in death. Their eyes, yet, communicating soul chilling terror.
Years later, we still have the dreams.
But you know something? We are also sad for YOU.
Because YOU are wildly misled by your Media, misled by your shallow, self serving, Jackass politicians, misled by your own intrinsic goodness. Your naivety.
Your good intentions and sense of charity, fair play, will haunt your descendants for generations. Or, worse. For-ever. It makes us despair that we cannot find the proper words to communicate to you that you must, you MUST, jealously, fiercely, without respite, GUARD your country, your ancestral homelands, your culture and your people. Against the invaders, and those who ceaselessly conspire for Open Borders, Diversity, and a laughable, fictitious, non-existent, poppycock, Multi-cultural Nirvana.

The other is from Michael Yon (he’s EXPAT in Thailand). This one I’m giving you the whole thing, then think about what Yuri said.

Possible Insurgency Starting in United States: I have to be there myself to judge, but watching 24/7 from afar this looks like it might be more than protests
There is a significant difference between protests, civil unrest, general civil unrest, insurgency, and civil war.
I’ve been watching, reading and talking with people almost every waking our since this began.
This began as protests.
Some differences:

Protests are normal background noise in any healthy society. Something is always wrong and needs attention. Often the best way to get attention is protest. Loads of open and non-violent protests can be a sign of a HEALTHY country.
Protests generally (but not always) are small in relation to the number of people in the population. For instance, if only school teachers come out about pay in Arkansas, that is very local to Arkansas with very specific demographic. Fix the problem they go home happy, or at least reasonably satisfied. Normal. Healthy. Lots of protests, again, can be a good thing, if sometimes annoying. (Which they need to be sometimes.)
Vital: in protests — the vast majority of people still see the government as legitimate. They do not want to overthrow the government, or at least are not trying to.
Occasionally there are massive protests but, again, they will be about something specific and usually die or peter out quickly.
Civil Unrest — most media just toss this term around, but among a tiny number of people it actually means something beyond looting. In civil unrest, a relatively large number of people protest in some way, violent or not. There may even be lethal terrorism as with from the terrorist groups Black Lives Matter and Antifa. (Both are communist, by the way, and communists normally use terrorism).
In Civil Unrest — the motivations are far deeper than something simple like teacher pay. Could be anger over high crime, poor economy, police abuse. In Civil Unrest, most of those involved still see the government as legitimate. (I would underline that last sentence if I could.)
In Civil Unrest, the restive people still might be limited to one or a few groups. More than something simple like teachers, but something greater like poor people. Or a million people being tossed off their land. Or a racial group that feels downtrodden or senses weakness in a wealthy other group and wants to take that wealth. Civil unrest comes in endless variations. No two are the same.
But again, relatively speaking, the people who are taking action are not a huge portion of the population. For argument sake, say 10%. Not a huge part of the population but plenty to make a big fight.
In Civil Unrest, they still are NOT trying to overthrow the government.
General Civil Unrest (GCU) normally brings a large portion AND cross-section of the population. GENERAL meaning a large cross-section who might also have many grievances. Economy. Crime. Police abuse. Pollution. Name it. Basically, if you reach this point…you got serious problems.
BUT, in GCU, they still are not necessarily trying to overthrow the government, or change the entire system. GCU can be peaceful, or massively deadly.
Insurgency — at this point, someone is making an honest go at either overthrowing the government but keeping the system, or completely swapping out the operating system, and the former operators. Basically, leaders in exile or swinging from lampposts.
I am greatly simplifying. This could go for hours. Bottom line: with Insurgency, there is a credible threat beyond mere terrorism. (There can be terrorism without insurgency, and there are peaceful insurgencies, too. In USA, highly doubt it would be peaceful.)
Today, there clearly are many Americans protesting who see the government as legitimate and just want limited but important changes.
There are others, however, who clearly are staking turf such as the terrorist group BLM who is right now painting roads and so forth in DC, and doing a lot more than occupy. They have politicians on their side who, for instance, just evicted Utah National Guard and let the terrorists move in.
They are making a power play and this is very delicate.
Some military officers appear to be siding with BLM. They should be fired on the spot. Any US military officer who openly sides with a terrorist organization during such a critical time must be fired. On the spot. No matter the consequences. Consequences of not firing are far worse.
The risk of course includes race war within the ranks, or rebellion (which clearly has happened already) by officers.
Must. Fire. Benedict. Arnold.
With his public video, General Charles ‘CQ’ Brown just publicly challenged the President. That was a power play. An, “I dare you to fire me I am a black General.”
Fire Brown now. If not, cancer within the ranks can explode.
Insurgencies are far, far different than protests. Protests are like a headache. Two to aspirin, make an agreement, call me in the morning.
Insurgency…those typically include elements of civil war. IF we enter into a profound insurgency, chances of various civil wars unfolding immediately are very high. Like 99%. Chance of profound insurgency starting from here? Coin flip. But if we get there, it’s game on.
Likely, at some point, if we enter into profound insurgency and then into civil wars, I would expect that some journalists and politicians would start being assassinated as per banana republic revolutionary style.
There is still ample opportunity to head this off. You know…like the pandemic.
For starters, fire everyone military officer who openly rebels. Immediately. We are right on the edge but not on fire yet.
Hey, do you remember all those warnings I gave in Iraq, then Afghanistan, and other countries, and then warned about this pandemic and economic difficulties back in January, and was saying clearly in January to stop incoming flights?
I am saying it here, loud and clear. Appears that we are moving into a sponsored insurgency. BLM and ANTIFA are two of the gloves and must be vigorously targeted.
Touchy, right? I get it. Trust me…spent years in many conflicts. I know exactly how touchy this is. This is like bomb squad working on a giant ticking bomb while under sniper fire.
Fire those officers right now. Anyone who sides with BLM or ANFITA out the door.
If this continues for one more week, invoke the Insurrection Act.
Remember, only a relatively small percentage of the population is fighting now. If you start getting millions of whites, hispanics, and asians fighting…this will be Iraq 10x and could result in a huge slaughter of blacks.
STOP IT NOW.
Be prepared to defend yourself. The police and government cannot even defend themselves. You are on your own. Remember — this pandemic is real. Stock up on food and all other essentials.

These are not peaceful protests, I don’t care what Fredo Cuomo says. Antifa is training to hurt people.

We are at a defining moment in America’s history. The covid scam (IMHO) shut down and destabilized the economy, and now the riots over a man who held a gun to a pregnant woman’s belly. No, I am not standing up for the police officer that knelt on George Floyd’s neck, but I don’t believe police departments are filled with racists either as the mainstream media would have you believe. I actually don’t even really think this is about police that much at all. I think it’s about removing the thin blue line that is holding back stage 4. Do I believe there are bad cops? Of course! There are bad doctors and bad plumbers as well. There is a bad Fex-Ex driver that delivered someone else’s package to me today. But I think by and large, they are good decent people. Without the thin blue line we descend into the stage 4 that Yuri talked about. Not to mention what the police will be replaced with. If you are curious I’ve got a interesting radio show for you. It’s Barry Shaw on the Tamar Yonah show.

The hypocrisy of the left is amazing. While they are free to shout threats most vile, to attack elderly people, set buildings on fire, loot vandalize and destroy people lives and livelihoods has there been one word, just one from the global warming alarmists? No? No Greta Thunberg rising up to stop the arsonists waving a little shovel to put out the fires, her tiny nostrils flaring screaming “How DARE you”! No AOC screaming at the rioters “You’ve just cost us a year off our remaining 10 years with these carbon emissions? This is why you don’t make laws according to the whims of spoiled immature children. Then there is communist Comrade de Blasio Bill de Blasio Responds to Massive ‘Black Trans Lives Matter’ Protest in Brooklyn by Welding Gates Shut at Biggest Park in Jewish Community That’ll fix it! And his consistent policy on Wuhan flu? COVID-19 Tracers In NYC Ordered Not Ask Those Who Test Positive If They Attended Protests

In addition to getting participation trophies, you have parents that don’t, well, don’t parent. “I Honor Her. She is Such a Good Human Being” – Mayor De Blasio Responds to His Daughter’s Arrest at Weekend Protests

Uh huh, she’s a real peach.

It has become so customary to appease the out of control bullies on the left. If anyone dares to say anything in favor of the police that when Egard Watches put out a pro-law enforcement video, YouTube restricted it. In fact the left is in full on pack mentality mode. Two college professors are under attack, one for stating a fact the left didn’t like. And now they are trying to get him fired. This is the result of years of “participation trophies”. Kids didn’t have to do anything to achieve, they got a trophy anyway. No reason to try to be the best, everyone is equal because we don’t want to damage anyone’s self esteem so no winners and losers. They are the result of teachers that didn’t teach but rather indoctrinated them to be the useful idiots. Man arrested for vandalizing Christopher Columbus statue — He is a social studies teacher These mobs are violent, and vicious. Far left mayors who have been so supportive of both groups rioting have had a very different response when it was their house that was vandalized and their neighborhood that saw marchers. Far Left WA Mayor Who ‘Took a Knee’ with Black Lives Matter Thugs Gets Home Vandalized During George Floyd Riots, Calls it “Domestic Terrorism” and New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell Cheers Black Lives Matter… Except When They’re Outside Her House. Don’t worry Mayor LaToya, I’m kind of thinking the way things are going New Orleans may not be seeing a whole lot of tourism. I mean who would want to take a chance on going to your city and spending money there right now? Not that there will be much in the way of goods available anyway.

You know the saying “Play stupid games, win stupid prizes”? Well, in the real world, not the alternate universe of the left which they think revolves around them, there are consequences. There are consequences to elections. If your business has burned and you are under siege by the mob and you voted Democrat, I’m sorry, but what did you expect? Democrats never side with the law abiding citizen just trying to make a living and take care of their family. That’s not who they are and not what they stand for.

If you are really wishing you had a firearm or could get one to defend your family and you voted for Democrats, I’m sorry, but what did you expect? Even if your local Democrat said “Oh I duck hunt every year” you should know that is not what the Second Amendment is about. You should also know that if that politician is a Democrat he will have to go with the party platform, which is civilian disarmament. Have you noticed, the party that has been trying to render citizens defenseless for years is now the party trying to defund the police? The party that stands with rioters and looters is the one that wants to remove the impediment to destruction. Yes, elections have consequences. As do the actions by those elected officials in the real world. Truck Drivers Say They Won’t Deliver To Cities with Defunded Police Departments Guess it’s a good thing people horded all that toilet paper, huh?

So back to the good Egard watch company video. Unless YouTube has removed it, I’ll close with this thought, if we don’t stand up for the decent people in law enforcement, all we will be left with are those that want the job for the power it provides or as Barry Shaw talked about in Tamar’s show, the new version of the brown shirts. Barry Sotero’s national police force. And we aren’t going to like it. Communists have their play book down and have been putting their plan into action for years, decision time.

Justice For America

As much as I love ya’ll, this is not a project I plan to repeat any time soon. This is really time consuming! But I hope it’s helpful and you like it. I’m tired of seeing people living in fear due to a fraud. I’m not saying don’t use caution, but doing the normal things you do when you are around someone with the flu (basically) should have covered it. Destroying millions of lives was unnecessary.

As you may have noticed, this Wuhan flu is getting on my very last nerve. I’m not saying it’s not serious, it is. But the damage that has been done to the US by the choices made in dealing with Wuhan flu will never be undone I don’t believe. China and their dang virus is not the reason for massive unemployement, loss of businesses, homes, lives and the massive increase in tyranny. I heard somewhere that this “Shelter in place” model was the result of a high school project. But I couldn’t find anything on the net so it didn’t make the video. I’d believe it, it came from the mind of someone who doesn’t pay rent or buy food.

This KrisAnne Hall video should send some shivers. I’ve got the link set to start at the relevant part.

THIS! THIS is why I’ve been so focused on what is happening with the Wuhan flu and so angry about what I see. The clip about Dershowitz is saying you do not have a right to refuse the vaccine. They can physically haul you into a doctor’s office and jab a needle in you. That you don’t have a right to endanger others by refusing the vaccine. He didn’t comment on who would take care of your family if there was a reaction. That is what you see playing out, under the guise of public good;  without a warrant signed by a judge. The mental health rapid response team member? Why if you don’t care about your health and beg to get the vaccine, you aren’t in your right mind, got any guns? I was right there judge, I witnessed them refuse to go to the hospital to be checked out. They don’t care about themselves therefore they are a danger to themselves and others. How many now terrified family and friends will download that contact tracing app? You may not, but others will. All from the media generated fears fed to them by Fauci and Birx. What data do you keep on your smart phone? Do you WANT to be tracked? The drones are now being used to ensure social distancing. Do you feel the people throwing rights and liberty at the government saying “We don’t need these things, just make us feel safe”! After all, if you don’t have your health you don’t have anything. /sarcasm. I don’t think there is any way to convince people now this whole debacle has been just that, a debacle. There is no reset switch.

There are some people working on legal remedies for small businesses to fight back against the tyrants. I was going to include a video from a lady explaining about some lawsuits going on, and if you are a small business owner, or know one, a website that has some forms that might be of interest.

However, that pillar of principles YouTube has taken the video down because it didn’t conform to their community standards. Lately that means it said something A) Conservative B) Pro-American C) Pro-business D) counter to the mainstream media hysteria. Choose your favorite or any combo.

My suggestion is the next time we have one of these “crisis” we forget following what the “government” says. I think the practice of epidemiology should be outlawed. My vote? Next time there is a “crisis” like this, we call in the Cajun Navy. But as you listen to this clip there’s a few things that caught my attention: The Cajun Navy was told by the government not to launch and go help those stranded; the three star general in charge of the scene had to yell at his troops to put their weapons down, apparently they were trained on the Cajun Navy; not mentioned is Kathleen Blanco, Governor at the time, refused help prior to the hurricane because it was offered by Former President George W Bush. Demoncrats have a long proud history of preferring to see their people die than allow a Republican help them. The Cajun Navy saved 10,000 people, and the government told them not to launch. Government is not the answer, it’s the problem.

Is History Going To Repeat?

Yom HaZikaron, Yom HaShoah, Holocaust remembrance day was April 20th, one day after the 77th anniversary of the Warsaw ghetto uprising on April 19th. I’ve got a few random thoughts this year.

The Warsaw Ghetto uprising actually had 3 different resistance groups that were fighting. Most know of ZOB with Mordechai Anielewicz, The Jewish Fighting Organization. Less well known was the communists and Bund also fought against the nazis, and the other group was right wing, the Zionist youth movement “Beitar” the “Jewish Military Union” (ZZW). Beitar sound familiar? It was established by Zev Jabostinsky. My puppy’s middle name is Zev, that’s appropriate as it means “wolf”. Most of the fighters were younger, and I’m guessing had seen their families hauled off and knew what was coming.

The Wuhan flu Zoo

Locked in a ghetto and told they aren’t allowed to leave without a permission slip. Possibly like the one I’m carrying in my purse along with my name badge which will get me through road blocks should the be instituted. I shamelessly swiped this from a friend of mine, who also apparently likes Mark Levin

How far are you willing to go with this?

If they told you to load your families onto train cars so that you could be taken to Virus Protection Facilities for your own safety, would you do it?

YES. Yes, you would. That much has become painfully obvious to me. And the whole time, you’d be shaking your finger and yelling at those of us who refused, accusing us of being “a danger to society” and “not caring if people die.”

But they don’t have to load you onto train cars and take you to Virus Protection Facilities or force you to comply, because you do that voluntarily. They control your mind. They control you through fear. They control you by convincing you that the world is a scary dangerous place, but they’re here to protect you, care for you, and keep you safe, just as long as you OBEY.

They know that as long as you’re locked inside your comfortable home with Netflix, Hulu, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and a cell phone while dangling a $1200 check in front of you like a carrot on a stick, you’ll comply. No force is necessary for the majority of the herd.

YOU ARE IMPRISONED, willingly, and you’re too blind to see it.

By Mark Levin

Our country has been locked down, and I think there are some lessons worth mulling over. Parents are being hauled off in handcuffs in front of their children because they took them to a park. A public park. I’ve covered some of these abuses in other columns. I’m guessing you know by now that while I do believe the virus is absolutely real, I also believe the reaction has been way overblown.

Corona worries?

Better safe than sorry? For whom? The 22 million people now out of work? The business owners that have lost or are losing a business because of what Doctors Fauci and Birx have urged? Honestly I have no idea why anyone would ever start a business now knowing it can be yanked away and your life’s work and savings down the drain at the whim of a government. Their employees that now may well face losing their homes and struggle with trying to support their families all the while the government is forcing farmers to dump milk, eggs and vegetables. I’m pretty sure the food banks could use them about now. Food like knowledge, is power. What will people do to feed their hungry children? Government is seizing power, no doubt. Some governors like the governor of South Dakota and Wyoming pretty much left their states open while others like the governor of Michigan took the power given by the federal government and then became a tin pot despot. What happened after that disturbs me even more. When people protested, she threatened them for speaking out by saying she might extend the lock down. Free speech not permitted. Along with freedom to assemble or to worship.

The following videos make several points, but the reason I’m putting them in are those listed above. This is going on all over the world. I have to tell you when I heard those German voices yelling “Ack-TUNG” and hauling people away I got nauseated. Beating people, using tear gas on them, explain to me how this keeps them safe? I mean, that’s what this is suppose to be about right? Saving lives from the Wuhan flu? Another friend of mine wrote this is response to something I had posted on facebook.

“When the State tells you it’s safe to go to Home Depot to buy a sponge but dangerous to go and buy a flower, it’s not about your health.

When the State shuts down millions of private businesses but doesn’t lay off a single government employee, it’s not about your health.

When the State bans dentists because it’s unsafe, but deems abortion visits are safe, it’s not about your health.

When the State prevents you from buying cucumber seeds because it’s dangerous, but allows in-person lottery ticket sales, it’s not about your health.

When the State tells you it’s dangerous to go golf alone, fish alone or be in a motorboat alone, but the Governor can get his stage make up done, and hair done for 5 TV appearances a week, it’s not about your health.

When the state puts you IN a jail cell for walking in a park with your child because it’s too dangerous but lets criminals OUT of jail cells for their health- It’s not about YOUR health!

When the state tells you it’s too dangerous to get treated by a doctor of chiropractic or physical therapy treatments yet deems a liquor store essential- It’s not about your health!

When the State lets you go to the grocery store or hardware store but is demanding mail-in voting, IT’S NOT ABOUT YOUR HEALTH.

WAKE UP PEOPLE — If you think this is all about your health you’re mistaken! Please open your eyes! Stop being lead like blind sheep.

I should probably mention this was originally one video, YouTube censored it and someone else put it up in three parts, so hopefully you can still see it.

And these protests to open the states back up are going on all over the country. Who decides the value of a life? I take death very seriously. When people get towards the end of life, one of the things one often does is to give an “Advance Directive” meaning they state what they consider to be an acceptable quality of life, and if something medically happens they can not do those things they do not want heroic measures done to save them. Quality of life counts. At what point do we begin to care about the 22 million that have been forced out of work due to flawed models designed by a man who has yet to get one right.

Wuhan Flu we will survive, but this government seizure of power? When has government ever handed back power once it’s been seized? Your rights are suspended. I keep hearing that line from the video. How much further will it go? Who knows. Just like the left are hypocrites about guns denying citizens the right to defend themselves and their families all the while having armed guards they are out of touch with the pain the lock down is causing. Yes, I know it’s a Trump ad, but it still sums it up really well.

And the new paradigm is set. Had a Democrat been president, I shudder because Democrats are communist now. Power and control, never enough. What will happen the next time there is a “crisis” be it in the fall or next year? I heard another great video from a politician named Paul Curtman who has written a couple of books Don’t Tread On Me and Don’t Tread On Me! The Constitution and State Soverneignty. Paul’s video was talking about the role of government. He said people have the misconception the role of government is to keep your safe. It is not, the proper role of government is to keep you free. And while you chew that over, I will give you the Partisans Song, because I honor those that resisted and fought against the tyranny.

וגם בעברית

In his most recent radio program Phantom Nation, host Sha’i ben-Tekoa talked about how some criticize and look down on the Jews in Germany who didn’t fight back. But he asked the question if you have a young man of 20, who has a wife and maybe a couple of kids what realistically could he have done when they heard that forceful knock on the door at midnight and opened it to find 5 nazis with guns at the ready?

The best answer I can give is to not let things get to that point. To recognize the signs, see people clearly, especially politicians and vote accordingly. We can still vote in this country perhaps. Some of the actions are familiar from the past, but is history going to repeat?

So, I’m not feeling so good

Yes, it has to do with the Wuhan Flu, and no I don’t think I have it. But what I’m seeing happen is making me feel a bit sick.

I’ve been in the medical field for awhile. Long enough I was in it before AIDS was around.

I remember when H1N1 flu was in going around

The 2009 flu pandemic in the United States was a novel strain of the Influenza A/H1N1 virus, commonly referred to as “swine flu”, that began in the spring of 2009. The virus had spread to the US from an outbreak in Mexico.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that from April 12, 2009 to April 10, 2010, there were 60.8 million cases, 274,000 hospitalizations, and 12,469 deaths (0.02% infection fatality rate/Mortality rate) in the United States due to the virus.

I remember when Ebola was the current threat

Four laboratory-confirmed cases of Ebola virus disease (commonly known as “Ebola) occurred in the United States in 2014. Eleven cases were reported, including these four cases and seven cases medically evacuated from other countries; the first was reported in September 2014. Nine of the people contracted the disease outside the US and traveled into the country, either as regular airline passengers or as medical evacuees; of those nine, two died. Two people contracted Ebola in the United States. Both were nurses who treated an Ebola patient; both recovered.

Then there was the Zika Virus outbreak, if you go to the CDC web site you can get the stats for the multiple years, or there is a wiki article that has them all in one.

I’m sure you get the point, I’ve seen different things come and go. So I’d like to try to put some things into perspective if I can.

If you’re a math wonk, you’ll love this article Basic Math.

When this “pandemic” first started garnering a lot of attention, the news was on The Diamond Princess, a cruise ship that had become infected. Now at the time, no one really knew much about the Wuhan Flu. It’s a cruise ship, people are packed in, breathing the same air from the ventilation system, and in close quarters, and generally older population and no one was practicing social distancing, let alone self-isolation. And yet, they did not all die. Out of 3,700 passengers, 6 died. That’s .00162%.

Since all this has started, the doctor from The Imperial College of London that originally made all the dire predictions has revised his opinion.

Now, lead author Neil Ferguson has testified to a parliamentary committee that the U.K. death toll is unlikely to exceed 20,000 and could be much lower, reported the website New Scientist.

And more than half that number would have died anyway by the end of the year, because of their age and underlying illnesses, he told the panel on Wednesday.

Stanford doctors: Coronavirus fatality rate may be far lower than current models predict

Dr. Eran Bendavid and Dr. Jay Bhattacharya postulate, in The Wall Street Journal, that the high estimated fatality rate of the coronavirus of 2%-4% is “deeply flawed.” They base their argument around the metrics of total individuals infected who die, rather than individuals with identified cases of the virus who have died.

“If the number of actual infections is much larger than the number of cases – orders of magnitude larger – than the true fatality rate is much lower as well,” the doctors write.

And here’s something I think really should be looked at WHEN did coronavirus begin in the US? And why it matters

What led our government and the governments of many other countries into panic was a single Imperial College of U.K. study, funded by global warming activists, that predicted 2.2 million deaths if we didn’t lock down the country. In addition, the reported 8-9% death rate in Italy scared us into thinking there was some other mutation of this virus that they got, which might have come here. Together with the fact that we were finally testing and had the ability to actually report new cases, we thought we were headed for a death spiral. But again, as my colleague Steve Deace pointed out, we can’t flatten a curve if we don’t know when the curve started.

….

You see an insanely dangerous trajectory of cases taking off in March. But what exactly happened in March? The virus was introduced in Wuhan in November. And even without testing, we did detect a handful of cases here, the first known case being on January 21. So why would we suddenly experience the outbreak in March? It’s quite evident that the culprit for the spike in the chart is simply because that is when the testing began because Trump dropped the FDA regulation barring private testing after the government testing didn’t work.

Thus, we know with certainty that people were clearly contracting coronavirus and were likely dying some time before March, but we’re still not sure how long before or how many people. Given the overlap with the general flu and pneumonia season, we really have no way of knowing that the January 21 case of the individual flying from Wuhan to Spokane, Washington, was the first active case – patient zero.

About that testing business, Why the CDC botched its coronavirus testing

The first testing kits from the Centers for Disease Control had a simple fault, and red tape prevented other labs from creating their own.

And when they were given out, they were then recalled. When new ones came out, the CDC only gave them to state run labs claiming they wanted to be sure of accurate results. The result? A backup in time to get the results. Complicated by the “worried well”. People that wanted to be tested to make sure they didn’t have Wuhan Flu. Since you have to meet criteria to even be tested, this has lead to people being tested by a doctor that was a friend according to an interview I heard on a talk show tonight. One person I heard of claimed they had been “exposed”. Well, no. They worked in a store so they felt they might have come in contact. Now that private labs are allowed to run the tests, results will hopefully come back quicker. And with more results, does that mean more people have it? No, it means more tests have been run. To be fair the the CDC, it’s hard to come up with accurate test kits when you really want to focus on “the epidemic of gun violence”, right?

And more companies are getting involved in improving the process US company announces a major breakthrough in coronavirus testing: This is a ‘GAME CHANGER’

The Food and Drug Administration has issued an Emergency Use Authorization to medical device giant Abbott Labs on Friday for a five-minute coronavirus test that could be arriving to the nation’s urgent care clinics as early as next week.

COVID-19 Deaths: Italy, 1 in 5,789 People; United States, 1 in 157,499

But numbers of confirmed cases are a function of testing. As testing in the U.S. has ramped up, it was only a matter of time before that testing would detect sizeable numbers of cases moving through the American population.

Some of the world’s most populous nations, Pakistan and Indonesia among them – have carried out very little testing for countries with populations of 233 million and 267 million, respectively. India (pop. 1.3 billion) and Nigeria (pop. 214 million) are even further behind.

In the United States (pop. 332 million) more than 850,000 tests had been carried out as of early Monday (more than 710,000 of them negative), according to the COVID Tracking Project.

There are other differences in the US and Italy. Italy has the world’s second oldest population, Japan has the first. Italy already has “Medicare for All”, this is how it works out in real life. Socialized Medicine In Action: Italian Doctors Now Telling Patients Over 60 To Pound Sand

Our country has faced other communicable diseases and we’ve never shut the country down before, and it appears that some of the models that caused us to do so may have been flawed. Restricting Gun Rights During a Crisis…

Are Gun Stores ‘Essential’ Businesses? It’s John Lott, so you know it’s good.

A DuckDuck search on gun shop closings due to Wuhan Flu Several states that must consider liquor stores “essential businesses” do not consider your ability to defend yourself or your family “essential”. Remember who they are during elections. But it shouldn’t be any surprise that some politicians consider themselves your “betters”. They and their families are worth defending, you and yours not so much. Like failed Demoncratic presidential candidate and soda czar mini-me Mikie Bloomberg. I’m not saying this is not a serious thing, I’m not saying don’t observe sensible precautions like those outlined by Dr. Price. But I’m afraid shutting down the country is going to be a cure worse than the disease.

But we are not called to be a fearful people. In case you don’t know Pesach (Passover) starts next week. Irony huh? Plagues, locust, which by the way, Africa is seeing locusts now. I heard a radio show hostess, Tamar Yonah talk about how she doesn’t want life to go back to “normal” with all the depravity, immorality, corruption and self-centered behavior. She wants us to come out better on the other side. I think that is a worthy goal. I think G-d has a message in all this for us. If we don’t try to find it, I think it will be a mistake. Everything comes from G-d, that we can not see good in it is a failing of our human eyes I think. But one of the important things, is we do not fear.

So whatever happened to

So whatever happened to that Governor, you know, that one? It’s like one of those click bait questions you see at the bottom of an online news story.

Illinois has a rich tradition of their governors winding up making license plates due to corruption. Four of the last seven in fact. 4 of Illinois’ last 7 governors went to prison

But it’s not Illinois I’m thinking of right now. It’s Missouri. Greitens, yeah, that’s the name Eric Greitens. He was accused of felony invasion of privacy, it was all over the news, non-stop. It wasn’t the first time a conservative figure had been accused of such. Herman Cain, Bill O’Reilly, Judge Roy Moore, Judge Brett Kavanaugh come to mind, and the media covered it non-stop. Although Kavanaugh is different. In the first cases those men either dropped out of the political race they were in, and O’Reilly left his TV show. They tried it with Sean Hannity and he said “bring it”. They did, and he informed them he would fight it and sue, they decided to leave him alone and dropped it. In Judge Kavanaugh’s case, he rode it out, as has President Trump. Governor Greitens did not. While he was prosecuted with tax payer dollars, he had to pay for his own defense. But in all those cases, when the men stepped aside the story just went away. In Kavanaugh’s case it was also different in that while it was on-going some of accusers began to be exposed as lying.

I think this is when I began to get really testy about knee jerk reactions. When the Greitens case was flooding the #MSM #FakeNews airways there were already people saying “Wait a minute, something is off here”. Lt. Col. Dave Grossman, whom I mightily admire did a couple of columns during the situation.

These Five Questions About The Eric Greitens Indictment Must Be Answered

That is a fascinating column! It was followed by

Why The Prosecutor In The Eric Greitens Case Could Be The One Who Ends Up In Jail

And she should. But wait, there’s more.

Missouri case that toppled GOP governor boomerangs on Soros-backed prosecutor

Wait! What! The Demoncrat prosecutor/political hack Kim Gardner lied about evidence, hid evidence, hired a retired FIB guy who also lied about evidence. I know, it’s like that movie “Groundhog Day” isn’t it?

Soros, one of the largest liberal benefactors in history, donated $630,000 that year to a political action committee called Safety and Justice Committee. That super PAC in turn donated more than $204,000 as an in-kind donation to Gardner’s election. Soros’ support accounted for about two-thirds of her total campaign donations of nearly $300,000, according to a post-election filing with the Missouri Ethics Commission. Gardner’s platform of criminal justice reform to help minorities proved a nice fit for Team Soros.

Color me shocked.

It was a crime that was committed against me, but most importantly a crime against the people of Missouri. This was their votes that they worked to overturn,” Greitens said during a wide-ranging interview on the Just the News podcast John Solomon Reports. “

I know! Progressives perverting the legal system to get rid of an elected official they didn’t want elected. It’s just so eerily familiar, somethings ringing in the back of my mind. If only I could remember or put my finger on it. /Sarcasm

Missouri: Soros-Backed Democrat Prosecutor’s Conduct Under Review in Greitens Case

You can hear a very interesting interview between Greitens and Seb Gorka

So in addition to Governor Greitens “pissing people off” per Seb, why would Demoncrats and Soros want to get Governor Greitens out of office? I mean, yeah, he was fulfilling campaign promises and nobody really expects politicians to do that these days, but what else could have been in the chute? Translations: Coming down the pike, In the wind, In the offing, Waiting to happen?

Well now.

Missouri governor says state will accept refugees This would be the replacement Governor, the one that took over after the Soros funded Gardner pushed Greitens out.

Missouri Gov. Michael Parson (R) said Monday that the state will accept refugees after President Trump signed an executive order allowing governors to opt out of doing so, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

What? Missouri didn’t have a high enough crime rate? Needed more people for the taxpayers to support? Of course they may assimilate and become useful citizens, but I somehow think that Missourians might not be all that thrilled. Though Parsons isn’t the only one.

These 15 GOP governors are asking for more refugee resettlement in their red states

A tip of my Stetson to my buddy Larry that tipped me off on that bit.

But even if Missouri doesn’t suffer the increased crime rates, and more people on the dole there are other considerations.

Election Fraud Cases

Missouri Secretary of State: Yes, voter fraud is a real threat

Voter Fraud Changed the Outcome of a Missouri Election

Missouri, like I’m sure other states already seems to have a voter fraud problem. Why does Parsons want to add to it?

Democrat Voter Fraud in Minnesota

Who is elected absolutely has the ability to change the character of a state. For example look how settling around 100,000 Somalis in Minnesota “enriched” their culture and affected their state.

How Minneapolis’ Somali community became the terrorist recruitment capital of the US

The state that gave us the anti-Semitic, terrorist supporting, Bernie Sanders loving Ilhan Omar. Is she still married to her brother?

But Minnesota is not the only state that has been affected by an influx of “outsiders”. Look at Virginia. It used to be a nice state, lots of nice horses, lots of nice places to ride. Oh, I’m sure it had other good qualities as well. For example it used to be sane. As in respecting the rights of individuals as recognized (not granted) by the Constitution and the Bill Of Rights. Rights that are granted by G-d, not government. But all that has changed. There has been an influx of progressives, and they’ve changed who gets elected and who gets elected is who writes and votes on laws. For the last few months we’ve been watching gun owners in Virginia wage a desperate battle to hang onto their Second Amendment rights.

But it will not end with Virginia. Virginia is not the only state under attack, it is part of a bigger plan. And like the Wuhan Corona virus, it can be there for awhile before the state even realizes it’s been infected. There is a book on the plan to turn Red States into Purple States. Blueprint

“The Colorado turnaround in 2008 was nothing short of phenomenal: a once rock-solid Republican state went Democratic in a big way. And members of both parties are still scratching their heads over what happened. Adam Schrager and Rob Witwer have dug into the question for their book ‘The Blueprint: How the Democrats Won Colorado and Why Republicans Everywhere Should Care.’ –Political Bookworm Blog by Steven Levingston

Missouri does have a piece of legislation pending that may help them, although it wouldn’t prevent a Virginia style takeover. It is an excellent bill called “Second Amendment Preservation Act (SAPA)”.

If you have friends in Missouri, and I do, you may want to pass this along to them. There is a reference page from a group called Missouri First Second Amendment Preservation Act (SAPA)

And they have a video explaining how it works

Last I heard is the Bill is doing great in the house with 86 co-sponsors, but in the Senate a Senator named Doug Libla who is Chair of the Transportation, Infrastructure and Public Safety Committee is holding it up. Seems he insists it be watered down. Now one would think this Sen. Libla would be a Demoncrat, but he’s not. He’s supposed to be a Republican. I guess he’s one of those “Trans-Republicans” like Mittens Romney.

A current specimen of a “TransRepublican”

So I suppose, inquiring minds wonder, how many reasons were there that the Soros funded prosecutor went after Governor Greitens, and why exactly did they want him removed? Ultimately will it end up changes the character of the state? For the sake of Missourians, I hope their Second Amendment Preservation Act is signed into law soon.

So whatever happened to? According to the video, he’s headed back to court. Sic ‘em Governor Greitens.

Resolution 13 is all too aptly numbered

Last month, I found an “assault weapon” ban I could support, as it was so poorly written it banned major malfunctions.

Over in Caddo Parish, Louisiana, Commissioner Lyndon B. Johnson (yes, that’s his name; I wonder about that middle initial stands for) has proposed RESOLUTION NO. 13 OF 2020. The intent of the resolution is to beg the state to infringe on the human rights of innocent people.

Yep, Johnson is a violence-enabling victim disarmer. It’s a gun control proposal.

The meat of the one page document is

Support legislation which strengthens the Louisiana Gun Laws by incorporating mandatory requirements for owning and carrying a firearm as well as legislation making it illegal to possess and use assault weapons (full automatic and semiautomatic with magazines/clips over 20 rounds,) except for the active military or law enforcement while on duty.

That language is a hoot. Regardless of the intent, the first part parses out as mandating owning and carrying a firearm. Johnson should have to learned to diagram sentences in English class.

The second, “assault weapon” ban, part is just plain idiotic: “full automatic and semiautomatic with magazines/clips over 20 rounds”.

As phrased, your firearm — full- or semi-auto — would only be an “assault weapon” while you have a 20+ round magazine in it.

That’s funny. I could get behind that resolution, if only to embarrass the parish idiot.

Taking Back Gun Policy

Yet another Pew survey. In some respects, you could see this one as a little optimistic on the individual rights front.

At first glance. It purports to show that “gun policy” is a low priority for Americans. But not so fast.

As usual, I have a problem with Pew’s methodology.

When interviewers reach someone on a landline phone, they randomly ask half the sample if they could speak with “the youngest male, 18 years of age or older, who is now at home” and the other half of the sample to speak with “the youngest female, 18 years of age or older, who is now at home.” If there is no eligible person of the requested gender currently at home, interviewers ask to speak with the youngest adult of the opposite gender, who is now at home.

I’ve addressed this plenty of times; it is biased by design to unrepresentively sample younger — more likely left-leaning — potential voters. The only time that sampling method is acceptable is when the purpose of the poll is to gain the views of that specific demographic. Pew weasels their way around that bias by claiming

This method of selecting respondents within each household improves participation among young people who are often more difficult to interview than older people because of their lifestyles.

BS. Their selection of 25% landline and 75% cell phone already biases the poll away from older folks, who are more likely to use landlines. By piling the youth selection on top of low landline sampling, they guarantee that there will be a pronounced youth bias.

But another bias shows up in the questions, which should surprise no one who does more than accept a media report about a poll.

Now, I’d like to ask you about priorities for President Trump and Congress this year. As I read from a list, tell me if you think each should be a top priority, important but lower priority, not too important or should it not be done. (First,) should be a top priority, important but lower priority, not too important, or should it not be done? What about.[INSERT ITEM]?: should this be a top priority, important but lower priority, not too important, or should it not be done?]

Note the how the issues are framed in the questions.

  • Strengthening the nation’s economy
  • Taking steps to make the Social Security system financially sound
  • Dealing with the problems of poor and needy people
  • Strengthening the U.S. military

Not merely “the economy,” but “strengthening” it. “Strengthening” the military. But when we get to firearms…

  • Dealing with gun policy

Just “dealing;” not “make it more restrictive,” or “make it less restrictive. From the party breakdown, I think we can see that “gun policy” now only means “restrictive.”

  • Republicans: 25%, a minority, consider it important.
  • Democrats: 66%, a majority, consider it important.

Thanks to the leftstream media and whoring pollsters, the only “gun policy” that can be considered by right-thinking people is more victim disarmament. Respecting constitutionally “protected” rights is wrong-think now; and everyone knows it.

Now is the time to reclaim “gun policy” from the violence-enabling victim disarmers. “Gun policy” is how best to protect human rights… to defend ourselves, our families, our communities. “Gun policy” must be about deterring criminals misusing firearms to commit crimes, and punishing them appropriately when they do. The only acceptable “compromise” in “gun policy” is picking the most appropriate methods of doing that. Compromise certainly is not give and take between victim disarmers on how extensively they violate the human rights of innocents in this round of abusive proposals.

When victim disarmers start throwing around “gun policy,” “commonsense gun laws,” and “gun safety,” demand they tell the truth for freaking once in their shabby, pitiful lives. Demand they explain why they take firearms from the innocent, while at the same time make it harder to prosecute real crimes, and block tougher penalties for criminal use of a gun. And the felons who somehow get punished? Democrats want the criminals’ rights restored before they even complete their sentences.

I repeat: Gun policy is protecting the rights of the innocent, and it is important.

Protecting known criminals while attacking the innocent is violence-enabling victim disarmament, and it must end.

Added: I meant to mention the Firearms Policy Coalition, because:

“‘Gun policy’ is how best to protect human rights… to defend ourselves, our families, our communities.” We agree. That’s why we chose @gunpolicy for our username.

Destroying the Gun Culture: Warren’s Massive Victim-Disarmament Bill

Senator Fauxcahontas Warren, the wannabe-commie dictator out for genocide through mandated “carbon-free” (not -neutral, -free) energy and housing, has decided to start with the Gun Culture. Her horrific gun people control bill ( SB 3254) has everything a police state tyrant could possibly want, including the neutered kitchen sink. How bad is it? Well, her House co-conspirator is high-on-helium Hank “Tippy” Johnson, noted loon and midget/giant cage match fan.

I could write pages about Warren’s “assault weapon” ban, but let’s just say that unless your semi-auto rifle somehow made it onto the approved list, it’s most likely banned. All it takes is that  it can accept a detachable magazine and one of several other features. The kicker is that “pistol grip” is one of them. And what, pray tell is a pistol grip?

‘‘(46) The term ‘pistol grip’ means a grip, a thumb-hole stock or Thordsen-type grip or stock, or any other characteristic that can function as a grip.

If you can hold it, it has a grip.

There is a grandfather clause for existing arms lawfully possessed.

There’s so much more in that bill that I cannot cover it all in less than the 260 pages of the original. But I do want to address the new universal firearm owner licensing part.

‘‘§ 932. License to own firearms and ammunition ‘‘(a) IN GENERAL.—Except otherwise provided in this section, it shall be unlawful for any individual who is not licensed under this section to knowingly purchase, acquire, or possess a firearm or ammunition.

Elsewhere, I have written about the new tactic adopted by gun-controlling victim-disarmers: writing laws that make compliance impossible. This is yet another effing example. This license would have a training requirement, which includes a written test on law, and a “hands-on testing, including firing testing”. That “Except otherwise provided” does not include an exception for license training and testing; therefore possessing a firearm in a class or test to obtain a license would be illegal. No license =  no gun = no test = no license.

While those currently in lawful possession of firearms do not require a license for those firearms, you’ll still need to get a license for any newly acquired firearm first. But new owners? Not anymore. Gun ownership would lawfully end with this generation.

Assuming you’ve jumped through all the fake Indian’s and Georgian village idiot’s hoops, the license is still may issue. On top of all the usual prohibited person restrictions, they added another qualifier: “unsuitability.” This is… similar to “red flag” orders. If the ATF doesn’t want to issue a license, they go to a judge and tell them your aren’t suitable and -gavel bam- you’re a prohibited person.

Where “unsuitability” differs from a “red flag” order is in the standard of evidence. ERPOs require an unsubstantiated allegation — no proof required, because proof would be grounds for an arrest anyway — that a person currently poses a possible threat to himself or others.

“Unsuitability” actually manages to limbo its way below that.

other existing factors that suggest that the individual could potentially create a risk

Suggest”

“Could”

“Potentially

Did you ever criticize Warren or Johnso… Wait. Did you ever not criticize either of those moronic motherhumpers?

Or, as an astonishingly ignorant psycho (don’t click that unless you can spare the brain cells) emailed me a couple of days ago:

“Those who really really want a gun are the very ones who really really should not be able to get a gun.”
— rackjite

I’m sure you’ve heard that sentiment — that anyone who wants a gun is unsuitable to have one.

Or… I’ve publicly related stories of times when muggers decided I was a threat to them sufficient to decide to run away. I’ve demonstrated that I’m potentially a threat to the Democrats’ core constituency. No license for me.

What about you?
